Explanation of  Development Status Codes

I submitted a copule of problems to MetaLink which have resulted in Bugs. At this point, they both have a Bug number associated. They are infrequently updated to say that the Bug is in development and there is an associated Status Code.
Does anyone know what these Status Codes means? I am currently at Status Code 92.
I'm not sure if these codes mean that some work is really occurring, or if they are some nonsense way to make us feel like something is happening.

these status codes are status with some description,
its internal , we cant say anything abt that,
i can give a comment , its fixed

  • Mechanism to return status code explanations?

    Does Oracle provide an mechanism in the SDK to return longer and presumably more end-user understandable explanations of SDK status codes, such as (for instance) "Logon authentication failed." when provided with the integer value of the status code whose string representation is 'CAPI_STAT_SECUR_LOGON_AUTH'?
    In other words, is an integral lookup table of this type already present in the SDK -- even if the explanations are currently provided only in the English language and perhaps even are not customizable -- or would we need to build our own?
    (This question could also be extended to apply to the status codes emitted by the Calendar Web Services ...)

    No, there is no corresponding message (English or otherwise) for the status codes in the Calendar SDK today.
    However you should be able to find descriptions of the status codes in the SDK documentation.

  • Improvements to status code explanations requested

    There are some status code explanations in the 9.0.4.x
    CSDK that could probably use some refinement to be more
    useful to application developers.
    Two examples:
    1."CAPI_STAT_LIBRARY_INTERNAL_DATA = There was a corruption of data in the library."
    This might not always indicate that data in the
    calendar store is corrupted - which is the way we
    initially interpreted this error - but rather that
    data provided to be stored is in some way invalid.
    Example: calling storeEvents() with an
    iCalendar whose DTSTART property was after
    DTEND (i.e. start date after ending date),
    returned the status "CAPI_STAT_LIBRARY_INTERNAL_DATA".
    Example: calling Session.storeEvents() with an iCalendar
    whose start and end dates are in a non-UTC TZ in a format
    similar to "DTSTART;TZID=US/Pacific:20040517T101500",
    that method returned "CAPI_STAT_LIBRARY_INTERNAL_DATA".
    Fix: include an appropriate VTIMEZONE component
    for that timezone in the submitted iCalendar.
    2. Any of the explanations below, which begin with
    "Information about ..."
    These often seem to indicate that a data format error
    has occurred, and that the application developer
    needs to modify the format of the data to have it
    accepted. The "Information about ..." explanation
    doesn't adequately convey that.
    Examples:
    When calling storeEvents() with an iCalendar with a
    missing CR/LF between VEVENT components, that method
    returned the status "CAPI_STAT_DATA_ICAL".
    Some of the relevant status explanations include:
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_COOKIE = Information about the supplied cookie.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_DATE = Information about a date.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_EMAIL = Information about email.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_ENCODING = Information about the encoding of supplied data.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_HOSTNAME = Information about a hostname.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_ICAL = Information about iCalendar data.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_MIME = Information about MIME data.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_UID = Information about a UID.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_USERID = Information about a userID.
    In contrast, explanations like the following are much
    clearer:
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_USERID_FORMAT = The format of the UserId string was wrong.
    CAPI_STAT_DATA_USERID_ID = There was a problem with the Id part of the UserId string.
    Any improvements such as these in the status code
    explanations returned would be welcome, and might help
    save debugging time for those new to the CSDK.

    Thanks Aaron,
    Some notable improvements are coming in the next version of the Oracle Calendar application developer's guide, and your comments will be added for consideration.

  • Database and Listener start up 'OK' (status code 0) but can't connect?

    Hi guys,
    I've got an instance of EBS with database 11.1.0.7 on Oracle Linux 5.8 in a VM.
    It's a new instance and been working for a few days but now I can't connect to the database.
    I'm using the standard scripts that have been working so far to bring up the db (commands below) and when run both return status code 0, there is nothing unusual in their respective log files and all looks fine to me. When trying to connect from either SQL Developer or by running the EBS apps startup script [adstrtal.sh] I'm getting errors the database/listener is unreachable. Everything was working fine yesterday - I've not changed any configuration.
    ./addbctl.sh start
    ./addlnctl.sh start PROD
    The only thing I can think is that last time the database was used it was crashed out due to the VirtualBox session hanging. As the scripts starting it back up again seemed to run OK I hoped that this didn't cause any long term issue? While obviously not good to be not shut down correctly this kind of issue shouldn't nuke the db should it?
    Any help/light much appreciated.

  • 37 Status code in  IDoc to File Scenario

    Hi Experts,
    I developed Idoc to file scenario, in the PI side all the design time and configuration objects are good .
    while I am testing from SAP backend system (All required configuration steps are also good).
    I was send the Vendor information details (CREMAS05) by using the Transaction code WE19 , after that I was test with IDoc list by using Transaction code WE05(IDoc list) I am getting status code 37 . what might be the problem.
    please help me.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Sudeepth.

    Dear All,
    For file to idoc scenario is there any possibility to get line items details or xml details i.e the segments and its related field details using reference id, transaction id or interface name or message id in SAP PI 7.0. I know we need to click each and every message in sxi_monitor and look for details.
    For SAP(R3 System) I can create a report and set the job for specific time period so automatically it throws the details(like reference no, document date, invoice no from) in ftp path as .csv file. The same ftp path is maintained in program.
    I wanted to check FTP--->PI postings and I have set the job at r3 system it is working fine and Im monitoring it too.
    Now the end to end scenario is FTP--->PI--->ECC(R3 system). Please help.Many Thanks.

  • ADF Mobile: HTTP Status Code 500 Internal Server Error

    Hi,
    I wrote a SOAP web service and deployed it to my standalone ADF Server. I tested it with the HTTP Analyzer, works great. I used it in a Web Service Data Control in normal ADF Web - works perfect. It returns a table of data as programmed. However, ADF Mobile gives me errors: "Http Status Code 500 Internal Server Error: The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request".
    I developed an ADF Mobile interface with an amx page. I created the same Web Service Data Control and created a List View based on the data control. The error pops up every single time, both on iOS simulator and Android Simulator.
    I know the simulators have network access to the web services - because i can open the web service test page and WSDL from both simulator's internet browsers.
    I know the web services are running - because my ADF Web application can access it.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you!
    -Gavin

    Thanks for the reply. There were no errors in my WLS server. However, I will add some statements to my web service to write to the log file. That way i can see if or at what point is the web service is being accessed by the mobile app.
    Thanks,
    Gavin

  • ABAP Proxy HTTP response contains status code 401

    We have a client ABAP proxy running in a program successfully in our development system. Today I transported this to our Test system. When I tested, there were no messages in the adapter engine pipeline.
    One of my colleagues discovered that when running SXMB_MONI on the Application system (_not_ the XI system), the XML queue there shows the message with an error, the error being:
    HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized
    I have looked at quite a few posts here with this error; the PIAPPLUSER is not locked, Integration engine is configured the same way in both Development and Test, but I cannot figure out why this is happening.
    Any assistance more than welcome!
    BR,
    Tony.

    hi,
    Check XIAPPLUSER is having this Role -SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER
    • If the error is in XI Adapter, then your port entry should J2EE port 5<System no>
    • If the error is in Adapter Engine
    –then have a look into SAP note- 821026, Delete the Adapter Engine cache in transaction SXI_CACHE Goto --> Cache.
    • May be wrong password for user XIISUSER
    • May be wrong password for user XIAFUSER
    – for this Check the Exchange Profile and transaction SU01, try to reset the password -Restart the J2EE Engine to activate changes in the Exchange Profile After doing this, you can restart the message

  • HTTP status code returned by site-wide error handler is 200 OK?

    I'm using a developer install of ColdFusion 11. I set up the following page at http://localhost:8500/test/index.cfm:
    <cfthrow type="application" message="This is an error">
    When I visit that page, the HTTP status code returned is 500, as expected.
    I then created the following page at http://localhost:8500/error.cfm:
    <p>Sorry! That was an error.</p>
    If I set the site-wide error handler in the CF Admin to /error.cfm and visit /test/index.cfm, the HTTP status code returned is 200 OK.
    This seems weird to me. It looks like I can include the following in the error.cfm file to send an error code instead:
    <cfheader statuscode="500" statustext="Server Error">
    Does anyone see that as problematic? Is there a reason why the site-wide error handler should return 200 OK?

    Error Codes are the responsibility of the developer, to define and broadcast. Ultimately, the ColdFusion server has acted appropriately and fulfilled the request (hence the 202). Only the code would know what error was truly thrown, and how to appropriately handle that message to the user, hence the need for you to change the header in the response, if you want that broadcast to the browser in anything of than a "successful request" type of status.

    hello friend,
    I have developed a proxy to JDBC synchronous scenario.
    My scenario works like this.
    i run an abap program which calls a client proxy,
    the proxy fetches the data from database table and returns the data in the ABAP program.
    My program is working fine but there is a small problem.
    when i run the report for the first time, it gives me an exception while calling proxy
    HTTP_RESP_STATUS_CODE_NOT_OK HTTP response contains status code 500 with the description Timeout
    and when i run the report for the second time with same variant it works fine.
    i can see the exception mostly in the morning when i run the report for the first time
    please help me to find the solution of this problem.
    thanks
    kannu.

    1. Increase the proctimeout in smicm as per note - 824554
    2.   Application threads in the J2EE engine might have got consumed in high load situations.
    Increase the count of application threads in config tool at location Config Tool -> cluster-data ->
    <configuration template> -> <instance-ID> -> managers -> ApplicationThreadManager ->
    MaxThreadCount
    3.    Increase the parameter ServletInputStreamTimeout from 180000 to 1728000000.
    Steps for setting this parameter:
    a.   If you have configured ICM to forward requests to the J2EE dispatcher then apply Note
    1048692. If the problem is not resolved, then apply section b.
    b.   The request bytes are reaching the Engine too slowly
    i.    Start the configtool in <J2EE>/configtool directory
    ii.    Browse the tree in the left pane
    cluster-data -> Global server configuration -> services -> http
    iii.    Press the ServletInputStreamTimeout key in the keylist on the right
    iv.    Change the value of the "Value" field at the bottom of the right pane to the
    preferred one (in milliseconds).
    -1 means there is no timeout - that is unless the full request comes into a single
    chunk, an error will be thrown
    180000 means the Engine would wait for 3 minutes for any byte to be entered in
    the stream.
    1728000000 means the Engine would wait for 20 days for any byte to be entered
    in the stream
    v.    Press the "Set" button in the top-right corner
    vi.    Select from the menu File -> Apply and confirm all popups.
    vii.    Restart the Engine for changes to take effect

  • OTA Download and HTTP Status Codes

    Hi there,
    i am planning to check the http status code of an OTA download. Even if I interupt the download process, the server still responds with status 200.
    Does anbody have an idea, how to implement this process?
    Thanx,
    Simone

    i have relatively a same question. I am developing an OTA Provisioning platform for Java Games . Herez the flow:
    -> End User (Client) requests a content by entering his mobile no. via website
    -> Server sends a WAP PUSH (Binary SMS) to his mobile.
    -> When User opens the WAP PUSH (SMS), it will connect via GPRS to the server and start retrieving the game ( I am using Servlet to stream the JAD File)
    -> Then it will retrieve JAR file (path defined in JAD file)
    -> I have defined:
    MIDlet-Install-Notify: http://myserver.com/content?323
    in JAD File. So after Installation the Mobile handset connects the URL specified. I am then grabbing the status code i.e 900 or 901 ....
    Problem:
    <b> User Tracking: </b> I am not able to track the user e.g there are number of register users each having unique Id. When they download the content the Midlet-Install-Notify connects to servlet, but i am not able to distinguish among users as i am not able to dynamically assign User ID to MIDlet-Install-Notify URL in JAD File.
    I am in now in real trouble. If any one knows the solution how to maintain session or URL rewriting i.e dyanmically assign Parameters to MIDlet-Install-Notify plz share it.
    Thanks in advance

  • OTA and HTTP Status Codes in Motorola T720

    Hi,
    I am trying to check OTA status code by using T720. I wrote a simple servlet to receive the status code after midlet install, and also set up the MIDlet-Install-Notify attribute to point to the servlet.

  • Status code value after calling the method cl_http_client= receive

    Hi,
    I am sending a query string to 3rd party via outbound http. Now one of the methods needed in this case is CL_HTTP_CLIENT=>RECEIVE . This method has got 3 exceptions such as  communication failure etc. If this method has sy-subrc 0 what does this indicate. If  a sy-subrc value of 0 indicates success then why are we again quering the status code value between 200 and 299 . Can it happen that the value of  sy-subrc = 0 but the status code value is not between 200 and 299 .
    In which cases this situation will occur?
    Can anyone elaborate on this.....

    Hi i could not solve the problem with abap. We developed another application by using another programming language for this issue.
    But i think you should create an instance for authantication. After authantication you should get the cookies .
    Then create a new instance for other link and before send and receive methods set cookies ( which you got from authantication session ) for other link in ABAP.
    We did not have enough time to solve this in ABAP. Hope you will solve. If you solve please let me know how you have solved.
    Here is the code(another programming language), may be it will help you.
    req = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(@"https://login.xxx.com/authenticate.aspx?userid=xxx&password=xxx");
          req.CookieContainer = cc;
          HttpWebResponse httpResponse = (HttpWebResponse)req.GetResponse();
          HttpWebRequest httpRequest = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(@"https://yyy.com/postxml.aspx");
          httpRequest.CookieContainer = cc;
          httpRequest.Method = "POST";
          httpRequest.ContentType = "text/xml";
