Export all Contacts
I need to export all Outlook contacts for all mailbox to a csv file. I've seen multiple massive powershell scripts on the net such as the following http://matthewyarlett.blogspot.com/2013/12/access-mailbox-contacts-with-powershell.html
Is there a simpler way?
You need to either use EWS as described in the article you linked, or export them via Outlook. One thing that might help you is to copy all those contacts to a single mailbox, you can use the Search-Mailbox cmdlet for that:
Get-Mailbox | Search-Mailbox -SearchQuery kind:contacts -TargetFolder ContactsCopy -TargetMailbox AllContactsMailbox

Iphone Can't copy all contacts
Iphone 6 doesn't copy all the contacts from mac application Contacts 9.0 on mac using icloud sync even when I tried sending individual contacts using airdrop it shows a blank screen on Iphone 6 after receiving the file? I used Android phone to send export all contacts into one .VCF file and them imported into MAC Contatcts 9.0 " app which was then sync using "Icloud"
Any help is highly appreciated..!!Why not import the exported .VCF file directly to your iCloud, then enable Contacts in iCloud on your iPhone? It's very simple.
Step 1. Open iCloud with a web browser on your computer and log in.
Step 2. Click Contacts. In the left side, there is a little settings button. Click it and choose import .vcf. Just import the .vcf file you have saved on your computer;
Step 3. On your iPhone, tap Settings > iCloud > login with your Apple ID > swipe Contacts to ON. (during the process, making sure your iPhone accessed network is stable) -
i have a 10.6.8 mac os x system in a intel processor computer. how can I addressbook contacts to icloud. I tried exporting my import my addressbook and failed, then exportind a vcard from all contacts and failed and finale only one vcadr and failed. Something might i doing wrong
I just had the same problem, I've updated to 10.6.8 yesterday, and since then the browsing are very slow, no matter what broswer I am using, the upload download speed are still the same. But browsing just take forever, It takes for example google.com 30 seconds to load. I have Extream high speed internet connection, 3 other computers, and the only one is having this problem is the Mac after the update.
Something in this update screwed my browsing capabitilties, I tried downloading Crome browser, same issue.
I hope there is a way beside TimeMachine to revert the latest update. I don't want to reformat as I am sure as soon as I am going to do the update it will cause the same problem.

How can I export all my icloud contacts to Outlook?
If you want to sync via iCloud the following gives instructions on setting up iCloud on your computer: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
If it is a Mac running Mavericks (OS X 10.9) contact syncing is done via iCloud only. If you don't have a Mac you can also sync contacts via iTunes http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1296 -
all my contacts have cell phone numbers next to their name. i would like to print a list of only this field. How do i do this? i tried to cut and past to Excel but it not a "clean fit" and is more trouble than it is worth. is there an easier way?
Firefox does not have a contacts list. Any contacts list will be part of a website that you are using, you need to contact the support for the site to see if they have an option to export the contacts.

My problem is how to export ALL my contact groups (>20) from Outlook 2010 on one machine (finally established with great pains from a more user-friendly client) to Outlook 2010 on two other computers. All the help files I've seen refer to
export/import of only a single Group.
Outlook seems to be an extraordinarily limited and user-hostile environment for managing an address book. By way of comparison, the Mulberry client I've been using for years (which is no longer supported) run circles around Outlook for ease of
handling -- everything in the address book, groups and individual, can be exported and imported in a single file. My computer support staff have warned me about the difficulties of handling groups in Outlook. Is Microsoft really that incompetent,
or just sadistic ?
Thanks for your help with this. After a lot of screwing around I finally hit on a solution, which is to export and import contacts using a .pst file (which transfers both individuals and groups) rather than a .csv file -- which transfers only individual contacts but leaves groups untouched.
Why isn't there a clear and simple message from Microsoft saying this in all the so-called Help files on moving contacts in Outlook? -
I'm a novice so be nice. I have a list of contacts exported to a .abbu file which I'd like on my iCloud contacts but whenever i try to import them, they don't copy across only into "all contacts"
Can anyone help, any would be appreciated. You have exported as an Address Book archive file: you need to select all the contacts and choose to export them as a vCard - this is the only format you can import into the iCloud website.

Exporting selected contacts from Outlook 2011 for Mac
I've wanted to easily export a set of selected contacts from Outlook in Microsoft Office for Mac 2011. I've been through many threads about synching to Address Book and then exporting, but I've found a host of troubles, including duplicate copies of contacts being created.
So, I finally broke down and wrote an AppleScript script to export all of the currently selected contacts from Outlook to a file in either vcf (vcard) or csv (comma separated value) format. The best use of this script is to:
-- Install this as a script in Microsoft Outlook by saving the script below to Documents>Microsoft User Data>Outlook Script Menu Items
-- Change to your Contacts in Outlook. Use the Outlook search bar to find the contacts you want to export. You might search by name, category, company, or anything else that identifies the contacts you want to export. Or, you might just leave the view showing all contacts.
-- Select the contacts you want to export
-- Launch the script
The script will have you select between vcard and csv and select a destination file. This hasn't been optimized for speed, so if you're exporting 100's or 1,000's of contacts, be patient. And there isn't a progress bar at present, so you have to wait. It will display an alert when it's complete.
Sorry not to have a download location for you. You'll just have to copy the script text :-). Keep in mind there's been some but limited testing. Read the comments for details. And enjoy.

-- Note that email address are a special case as they're a list of objects in
-- Outlook. So these are handled specially in the export function and can only
-- be selected by the column names "home email", "work email", and "other email".
-- Outlook allows a contact to have more than one of each type of email address
-- but not all contact managers are the same. This script takes the first of
-- each type. So if a contact has more than one "home" email address, you will
-- only be able to export the first to a csv file. Suggest you clean up your

-- columns in the csv like "other email 1" and "other email 2", but that's not
-- supported in this version.
-- Another note. In this version, any embedded "return" or "linefeed" characters
-- found in a property of a contact are converted to a space. That means that
-- notes, in particular, will be reformated. That said, this gets arond a problem
-- with embedded carriage returns in address fields that throw off importing

How to delete all contacts in 'contact'
My contacts on 'mac air' comes from contacts of iPad2 thru sync of iCloud,
and contacts of 'Contact' on iPad2 come from the 'export by Worldcard HD on the same iPad2'.
Now Renewal of contacts by Worldcard HD needs to be exported to 'Contact' on iPad2 again.
To avoid repeated data storage, deleting the current data in 'Contact' becomes critical.
FYI, my 'Mac air' be installed with mountain lion OS.Part of your post is confusing to me. If your intent is to delete all your contacts for the App called Contact;....
The data files are located in;
~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook
~ is your user directory. It can be accessed by holding down the option key whilst clicking on the "Go" menu within Finder.
The contacts themselves are stored in the .abcddb file, but the Images and Metadata files are also part of the data.
I should think that deleting the entire contents of the AddressBook directory should clear your contacts. Make a backup copy of that directory before performing any deletions. -
What's the difference between "My Contacts" and "All Contacts"?
What's the difference between "My Contacts" and "All Contacts"?
I have no other account other then my iCloud account (from what I can tell), but "My Contacts" has a significantly smaller number of contacts then "All Contacts".
What's the difference? Thanks for posting the screenshots, that's helpful. I didn't realize that you were looking at your groups.
"All Contacts" include (as the name implies) all of your contacts. Below that are any contact groups that you may have defined. These would normally be such things as "Work", "Personal", "Doctors", etc.; any groups that you find useful to define. These contain subsets of the "All Contacts" group.
At some point, perhaps inadvertently, you must have created a group called "My Contacts", or imported it to iCloud from your computer. At the time this may have contained all of your contacts and would have had the same number of contacts as the "All Contacts" group. Then over time you probably added 433 additional contacts that were never part of the original "My Contacts" group, resulting in an "All Contacts" group that contained 1465 contacts.
If you don't have any use for the "My Contacts" group, you can delete it by clicking on it on the left sidebar, click the gear icon on the lower left and choose Delete. If you're concerned about doing this, you can make a backup of this group first by selecting it on the left sidebar, clicking on a single contact within the group, pressing Control-A to select them all (they should all be highlighted), then clicking the gear icon and choosing Export vCard. This will create a .vcf file that can later be imported back to iCloud if you ever need to (by clicking the gear icon again and choosing Import vCard). -
How do I export phone contacts into CSV file?
I can't seem to export the contacts in my iPhone into a CSV file so I can import them into Yahoo Mail or Gmail to edit.
Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported application on your computer. This is so common with Windows users - here anyway - not having contacts available on their computer. How does one get by without having contact info available on their computer, or having email addresses only for contacts on their computer, telephone numbers only for contacts on their cell phone, and mailing addresses who knows where? Not a good idea to depend on an iPhone or any cell phone only for contact info - along with having to manually enter all contact info on a cell phone, which can be lost or stolen.
With Windoze, you can sync contacts with Outlook 2003 or 2007 along with syncing calendar events, or with the address book used by Outlook Express or by Windows Mail (depending on the Windoze version) called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only. You may not have Outlook 2003 or 2007, but you have Windows Contacts available.
If Windows Contacts is empty - no contact info, before the first sync enter one contact in Windows Contacts. Make the contact up if needed, which can be deleted later. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select. Syncing contacts with Windows Contacts is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
After your contacts are available in Windows Contacts, you can export the contacts from there in a CSV file for import by Yahoo or Gmail. -
How could I export my contacts on my iPhone to my iCloud account ?
How could I export my contacts on my iPhone to my iCloud account ?
Because I want to manage (group) my contacts and then import my contacts into my iPhone again.
Furthermore , I want to export my contacts to MicroSoft Outlook 2010.I think you have a couple of options. You can bluetooth it or export from an account.
Here is a link that may help you. I think your phone has its own tutorial section on Verizon Support Knowledge Base.
Try here

Some advice is to save those contacts to a gmail account instead to the Backup Assistant account. I read some other users were having problems with the Backup Assistant account deleting all contacts on their phone. -
I am running 10.6.8 on my MacBook Pro 5.3. I want to upgrade to Maverick but am concerned that I will loose all contacts in my AddressBook. What can I do to save them?
File menu, Export, Address Book Archive. (I think that's where it is in SL).
However, do you not have a full backup of your Mac? Upgrading without one is not really advisable unless your contacts are all you care about. -
