    I use this command:
    exp userid=clix_db file=clix.dmp log=dump.log consistent=y
    to export all tables from user "clix_db".
    But when I take a look into the log file, I notice that not all tables have been exported. All empty tables are missed.
    e.g. the table "LIC_REPORTLOG" does exists! OK, the table is empty.
    But it is not exported. When I import the clix.dmp into another empty database, there is no table "LIC_REPORTLOG"
    When I export only this table with
    exp userid=clix_db file=clix_lic.dmp log=dump_lic.log consistent=y tables=LIC_REPORTLOG
    I get an error message:
    EXP-00011: CLIX_DB.LIC_REPORTLOG does not exist
    If I take a look into the table "all_tables", everything is fine:
    Enter user-name: clix_db

    Hello,
    I think that with such a new release you should use DataPump (expdp/impdb) to
    export Tables.
    For exporting a complete Schema you may use the following syntax:
    expdp {color:red}+user+{color}/{color:red}+password+{color} PARFILE=pfexport.txt_With pfexport.txt as bellow:_
    SCHEMAS={color:red}+schema_name+{color}
    FLASHBACK_TIME="TO_TIMESTAMP(to_char(SYSDATE,'DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI:SS'),'DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI:SS')"
    CONTENT=ALL
    DIRECTORY=EXP_DIR
    DUMPFILE={color:red}+dump_file_name+{color}
    LOGFILE={color:red}+log_file_name+{color}Then, in this example, you'll get the "dump file" and the "log file" into the EXP_DIR Oracle directory (if it exists).
    You can check your Oracle Directories with the following query:
    select * from dba_directories;Then, you can use one of these Directories or create a new one with the following statement
    CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY {color:red}+directory_name+{color} AS '{color:red}+directory_path+{color}';
    GRANT READ,WRITE ON DIRECTORY {color:red}+directory_name+{color} TO {color:red}+user_name+{color};Hope it can help,

  • Query for Empty Tables.

    Hi All,
    Can someone tell me a Query to find out "EMPTY TABLES i.e. Tables having no Rows" in Oracle 8i ?
    I tried on Google, but results are not satisfactory, may be due to 8i version.
    Please guide me.
    Regards.

    Hi Hoek,
    Actually we upgraded our database to 11g.
    We imported our data from 8i to 11gr2 by the utility IMP successfully.
    It imported our data 100% i.e. when we import 8i dmp data into 11g, there is never problem.
    Problem is arises now when we further use IMP/EXP utility in 11g.So everything in Oracle 8 is working the way you expect. The fact that you also have an Oracle 8 database has nothing to do with this problem. Is that what you're saying?
    When we run EXP utlity in 11g, it doesn't export empty tables.If the problem is entirely in Oracle 11, then you should be able to use something like XMLQUERY to find the 0-row tables, if you really need to. (I think you don't.)
    EXP can export tables with 0 rows. I just tried it in Oracle 11, and part of the feedback I got was:
    . . exporting table                       ZIPCODES          0 rows exported
    . . exporting table                  ZONEORDER_TBL          5 rows exported
    . . exporting table                       ZONE_TBL          6 rows exported
    . . exporting table                            ZOO          2 rows exported
    . . exporting table                    Z_HIERARCHY          3 rows exported
    . . exporting table                         Z_TEST          3 rows exported
    . . exporting table                        Z_TEST4          0 rows exportedIf it's not exporting 0-row tables for you, find out why, and fix that problem. Post your exp control file.
    Someone told me to insert atleast 1 row in the empty tables, then they will be exported.And then, after importing them, TRUNCATE those tables? That's a lot of work.
    That's why I m searching of the Empty Tables.
    Am I going right way ?I don't think so.
    Find and fix the problem with exp.
    If you can't get exp to work, then look into data pump.

  • ADF Faces Export - All to CSV dose not export the table correctly

    Hi ,
    I followed the source code of this demo site( http://rcf.us.oracle.com:9008/faces-12.1.2.0.0/faces/components/table.jspx) to create two buttons to export a table to CSV file, one is to export all rows and one is to export the selected rows.
    The problem is the export all will generate a html file which dose not have the table content and the selected one works nicely except when I selected all rows than click export selected, it also generates the same html file as export all. • Error while exporting a table - EXP-00091

    I am doing an export of a table. The table has 1000838 rows. After the export is completed,
    when I checked the log - it said
    Connected to: Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production

    EXP-00091: Exporting questionable statistics.
    EXP-00091: Exporting questionable statistics.
    EXP-00091: Exporting questionable statistics.
    Export terminated successfully with warnings.
    I looked in the Oracle error messages document and found this out ---
    EXP-00091 Exporting questionable statistics
    Cause: Export was able to export statistics, but the statistics may not be useable. The statistics are questionable because one or more of the following happened during export: a row error occurred, client character set or NCHARSET does not match with the server, a query clause was specified on export, only certain partitions or subpartitions were exported, or a fatal error occurred while processing a table.
    Action: To export non-questionable statistics, change the client character set or NCHARSET to match the server, export with no query clause, or export complete tables. If desired, import parameters can be supplied so that only non-questionable statistics will be imported, and all questionable statistics will be recalculated.
    And this how my export command looks like -
    exp vincent/passphr query=\"where state in \(\'MD\',\'CA\',\'WI\'\)\" file=$EXPDIR/fida_label_9i.dmp tables=vincent.fida_label
    log=$LOGDIR/fida_label_exp.log
    Ofcourse, I am using the query clause because I really need to and it has always worked when we were in the Oracle 8i environment. We recently moved to the 9i. And this happens in this 9i version...
    And I certainly do not want to specify the import parameters to ignore the questionable statistics as no changes are desired in that area...(my hands are tied..).
    What could " a fatal error occurred while processing a table " mean? And how can this be traced and troubleshooted ? Or how can I find out if any row errors occurred ? And if required, how do I check the character sets and other likes ?? (I have no idea in this area)
    Thanks. All I needed was to get around this error. Your suggesions/responses would be highly appreciated

    What version of Oracle 9i are you using? Do you have a standard 'NLS_LANG' environment variable set on client's machines? Or do you set it to different values on different machines?
    Here is one of way you could get around it.
    Could you specify the export parameter 'STATISTICS=NONE' while exporting the table data?
    Try this and see.
    If this is successful, you could use the import utility as usual. You could always compute or estimate statistics on the table after import.

  • BI 7 : Command to export a table structure of SAP R/3 into a script/text ?

    Hi All.
    Greetings.
    Am New to SAP R/3 system.  And request help.
    We are trying to pull data from SAP R/3 thro Bussiness Objects Data Services into Oracle.
    For now : we create a target oracle table looking at the table structure of SAP R/3 from SE 11.
    In BODS, We then do the query transformation, and use the oracle target table created by us manually.
    This works absolutely fine.
    We would like to know the command by which we could export the table structure of any existing table
    in SAP R/3 into a script / or to text file,
    which we could use to create the same table structure in oracle.
    Rather than manually typing some 200 field names for each tables.
    Can anyone advise on this.
    Thanks
    Indu

    Hello,
    The problem is caused due to the spaces in your directories
    C:\SAP Dumps\Core Release SR1 Export_CD1_51019634/DB/ADA/DBSIZE.XML
    Replace the spaces with underscores and restart the installation from from scratch.
    Cheers
    Bert

  • Access 2013 crashed when I export a table from the access

    Hi!
    Access 2013 always crashed when I export a table from the access to the Database Symfoware.
    1、The conditions of the Access 2013  crashed are the follows.

    6、I also did the test with the Access 2010,and with the Sql Srever/Oracle.
         The results are the follows.
    1) With the Access 2010(X86 or X64) and Access 2013 X86,it successes when I export the table to the DB Symfoware.But only with the Access 2013 X64,the Access crashed.
    2)With the Access 2010(X86 or X64) and Access 2013(X86 or X64),using the Sql Srever/Oracle,it always successes .
    According to all the descrived above, I wonder if it a bug of the Access2013 .
    Could anyone can help me ?
    Thanks for any help.

    George Zhao
    Thank you for your help.
    I have already install
    the latest patches of the Office 2013.But it doesn't work.It is down also too. And ODBC
    drive of Database Symfoware is the newest driver of the Database Symfoware. Now I wonder that
    if it si a bug of the  ODBC
    drive of Database Symfoware,I should fix the bug,but I have analysised the odbc trace log and I do not find any wrongs ,so I think maybe it is a bug of the Access .
    I have see many situations about the Access down on the internet .

  • R3trans not exporting all tables

    Hi
    I am creating a control file to export SXNODES table
    export
    file = '/tmp/SXNODES_dmp'
    delete * from 'SXNODES'
    select * from 'SXNODES'
    When I export, using R3trans, I get 0 entries exported. I used to be able to export this table until we upgraded to ENHP4
    3 ETW678Xstart export of "R3TRCNTDSXNODES" ...
    4 ETW000   0 entries from TADIR exported (R3TRCNTDSXNODES                                 ).
    4 ETW679 end export of "R3TRCNTDSXNODES".
    3 ETW678Xstart export of "R3TRCNTDSXNODES" ...
    4 ETW000   0 entries from SXNODES exported (000*).
    4 ETW000 The corresponding TADIR entry was already selected before (R3TRCNTDSXNODES).
    4 ETW679 end export of "R3TRCNTDSXNODES".
    Any idea?

    Hi Prashant,
    The error clearly says 'FAGLFLEXA-MANDT - is not a key field'
    RCLNT is the key field for client for FAGLFLEXA table.
    Also, as you already mentioned client=200 in the control file, there's no need to give a where clause for client.
    select * from FALGLFLEXA will do.

    if anybody has any idea abt it....plz reply it soon.......

    So what you want to do is redirect to a page when the user clicks the button?
    So just put the button in a form with the action attribute set to wherever the hyperlink points now.
    And in case the button is already a part of a form, then on the onClick() event of the button, change the action attribute of the form to this particular hyperlink target and then cause it to submit.
    That ok?
    Or do you want the Excel file you're generating to be sent to the browser causing it to popup a dialog asking the user to save or open? If so take a look here http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5170452&messageID=9655276

  • How to get list of block identifiers in a empty table and an empty index

    We have an application that has issue with ITL waits: this application is running many INSERT statements on a table that has 2 NUMBER columns and one primary key index. The application is designed to run INSERT statements but they are never committed (this is a software package).
    To check what are the really allocated ITL slots, I know that I can dump data block but I don't know how to get the block identifiers/numbers for an "empty" table and an "empty" index. Does someone knows how to do that ?
    PS: I already had a look to the Metalink notes and I have a Metalink SR for that but maybe OTN forum is faster ?

    You should be able to find the first data/index block with the following, even on an empty table/index.
    select header_file, header_block +1
    from dba_segments
    where segment_name = '<index or table name>';

  • Creating a manual tabular form on an empty table

    Hi all,
    I am trying to create a manual tabular form on an empty table. Is it possible to display textboxes and column headers, when I run the report I get "no data found".
    Regards,

    Hi Denes and thank you for your valuable input.
    My problem is in fact that, I have created the tabular form by using a report region with a SQL query, something like,
    select apex_item.display_and_save(1, p.bolge) bolge,
    apex_item.display_and_save(2, p.hafta) hafta,
    apex_item.display_and_save(3, p.yil) yil,
    apex_item.display_and_save(4, p.mamul) mamul,
    apex_item.display_and_save(5, p.tahmin1) tahmin1,
    apex_item.display_and_save(6, p.tahmin2) tahmin2,
    apex_item.display_and_save(7, p.tahmin3) tahmin3,
    apex_item.display_and_save(8, p.tahmin4) tahmin4,
    apex_item.display_and_save(9, p.tahmin5) tahmin5,
    apex_item.display_and_save(10, p.tahmin6) tahmin6,
    apex_item.display_and_save(11, p.revize4) revize4,
    apex_item.display_and_save(12, p.revize5) revize5,
    apex_item.display_and_save(13, p.revize6) revize6
    from portal_link.v_planlama p
    The problem is that, since there is no data in the table, when I run the page, I cant get the form to be rendered, and I get a nice "no data found". There should be a way to get the form rendered, hence making it available for data input.

  • [CS3]How to export a table in InDesign to an excel file?

    Hi,
    Can any one tell me how to script the process of exporting a table to excel file in InDesign CS3 using javascript?
    Thanks in advance.
    myRiaz

    Sorry, no javaScript, but here are some lines from a localization tool that I made in VB. I simply loop through the Rows and Columns and use the Excel DOM to fill the Excel-cells.
    Of course you can read amended/localized Excel files back into inDesign the same way, provided that the tables match (nr of rows and columns).
    Afterwards you could loop through the characters of each cell to apply the formatting that you want to keep in Excel, such as SuperScripts.
    Hope it helps you.
    Set myExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application")
    myExcel.Visible = True
    Set myTableBook = myExcel.Workbooks.Add
    Set myTableSheet = myTableBook.Worksheets.Item(1)
    myTableSheet.Columns.ColumnWidth = 35
    myTableSheet.Cells.VerticalAlignment = xlVAlignTop
    myTableSheet.Cells.WrapText = True
    For R = 1 To myTable.Rows.Count
        Set myTableRow = myTable.Rows.Item(R)
        For C = 1 To myTableRow.Cells.Count
            Set myTableCell = myTableRow.Cells.Item(C)
            If Len(myTableCell.Contents) = 0 Then
                myTableSheet.Cells(R, C) = ""
            Else
                myTableSheet.Cells(R, C) = myTableCell.Contents
                myTableSheet.Cells(R, C).Value = Replace(myTableSheet.Cells(R, C).Value, "1397058884", "—")
                myTableSheet.Cells(R, C).Value = Replace(myTableSheet.Cells(R, C).Value, Chr(13), Chr(10))
            End If
        Next C
    Next R
    good luck
