Is there anything written to the alert log?
Also, what is your Oracle version and where are you running the export from?
Edit: Oops, you posted Oracle version later. Anyway, go through this Metalink Doc.

  • EXPORT HUNG CLUSTER DEFINITIONS

    I am trying to export, but the export... is hung during ". exporting cluster definitions."
    Yesterday I have restarted instance and the issue was solved.
    But at the moment, the issue continues..., and I can't stop the instance.
    Any suggestion, will be apreciated. Thanks for your answer.

    . exporting cluster definitionsBefore doing that export again, find the SID of the session which will be doing it.
    Later, while doing the export and hanging takes place, use that SID on the v$session_wait to see what's happening.

  • Exporting Report definitions/source codes

    Hi gyus,
    I'm looking for a software or tool or an algorithm which I could use to export all the Report definitions and search in them. Especially I mean source codes of formulas and section-conditions. My "heritage" is a huge chaotic report and often I need to look for a specific thing which may be contained in any formula source code, any suppress condition, anywhere...
    I know of .rpt Inspector, which is unfortunately too expensive for me ($400).
    I know of the CR XI ability to export Report definitions to .txt files. But they aren't complete since they contain only condition source codes (those ones you type in via section expert), and I miss the formula source codes.
    Thank you so much in advance for any help or tip
    Regards
    Martin F.

    Hi, I do know about this feature. unfortunately, the resulting exported file doesn't contain complete report definition info. Especially formulas' source codes. So I can't search (CTRL+F) within these parts of source code.

  • How to export the definition of an universum??

    Post Author: mms110
    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    Hi all!How can i export the definition of an business objects universium?I need it in xml. is this possible?Best regards,mms110

    Hi,
    I think this is a bug. If I remember correct I used the script generated for deployment, copied it from OWB and pasted the script into sqlplus and the table was upgraded they way it should. But in OWB repository the table remains with status changed. And for me that created a few new problems when things became out of sync with eachother. Luckily for me this was in development and not production so I could replace the table, I just had to reload a lot of tables so the foreign keys would become correct. So its not really a good solution.
    There is a few other annoying bugs around that I've discovered. Synchronizing a table out of a mapping makes all the constraints disappear from the table design.
    But hopefully this is something that will be fixed soon.
    Regards Ragnar

  • Why xml hearders changing frequently on running export model definitions

    Hi
    We are using source change control SVN for model changes and group of people working on model and making changes in parallel.
    some changes are from backend.. editing xmls and some from ui.
    i have observed without having actual definition changes in xmls... like cube_<name>.xml, if someone run export model definitions, it starts reflecting some changes in file.
    those are mostly xml tags or grammar changes and not actual user change.
    for any instance some ns** will get change or
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns3:ReportWorkbook viewScenario="Any" private="false" final="false" subType="Report" name="xyz EOL Report" dependencyOrdering="0" systemVersion="4.0.5" xmlns="http://schemas.interlacesystems.com/workbook/Worksheet.xsd"
    reference to xsd changes from earlier copy of file to next exported file.
    please let me know if i am clear with the problem or need to give more elaborative details

    Can you please elaborate some more on the issue observed.

  • [svn] 2277: 1) Update the messaging-config. xml under resource and add the cluster definition with shared-backend attribute .

    Revision: 2277
    Author: [email protected]
    Date: 2008-06-27 08:22:18 -0700 (Fri, 27 Jun 2008)
    Log Message:
    1) Update the messaging-config.xml under resource and add the cluster definition with shared-backend attribute. [#blz-197]
    2) Minor update to the session test.
    Ticket Links:
    http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/blz-197
    Modified Paths:
    blazeds/branches/3.0.x/qa/apps/qa-regress/WEB-INF/src/remoting/session/FlexSessionAttribu teListenerTest.java
    blazeds/branches/3.0.x/resources/config/messaging-config.xml

    To use servlets u have indeed to update your web.xml...Well I'm not sure this is relevant to your case anyway.
    You have to add a <servlet> element to this file.
    Something like this:
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>blabla</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>blablapackage.Blablaclass</servlet-class>
    <init-param>...</init-param>
    </servlet>
    Now this may not solve your problem. Make sure you refer to your servlets using their full qualified names.btw, just to be sure, what is your definition of "servlet"? (i mean: any java class or only javax.servlet.Servlet)

  • How to export view definitions

    I'm having following issue:
    I have created my own view definitions in Endeca Studio, via View Manager UI, and export them by following the recommendations found at https://wikis.oracle.com/display/endecainformationdiscovery/Export+View+Configuration.
    Such recommendations are to create a graph that connects to Endeca Data Store and saves all view configuration in the required format for the LoadViewDefinitions graph.
    Actually, I was able to create the graph and run it. After that, the xml file with the view definitions was created.
    However, when I tried to run the LoadViewDefinitions graph, to import the definitions of the xml file to other data store, the following error came out:
    Interpreter runtime exception in function substring on line 5 column 26 - 'String index out of range: -161'
    By looking at the xml file and comparing it with other xml files, I could see that it contains only one long line with all the code, and I think this is the cause of the import failure.
    Could anyone help me with this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Not sure if I understood when you said to delete that white space from xml file. The thing is that the xml file contains only one long line with all code, like this:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><soap:Body><listEntitiesResponse xmlns="http://www.endeca.com/endeca-server/sconfig/1/0"><semanticEntity key="LandedCost" displayName="LandedCost"><definition>DEFINE LandedCost AS SELECT...
    While other files that work are like this:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Body>
    <listEntitiesResponse xmlns="http://www.endeca.com/endeca-server/sconfig/1/0">
    <semanticEntity key="LandedCost" displayName="LandedCost">
    <definition>
    DEFINE LandedCost AS SELECT ...
    What should I do with the one that does not work? Which white space are you referring to?
    Thanks

  • Exporting ENUM definition to DLL header file

    I have a VI that takes an ENUM as an input to select a command to be performed. This VI is part of a DLL to be called from C.
    I would like to see the ENUM definition in the header file for the DLL so that the C program can use the same symbolic names for the commands that I
    am using in my case selector within the VI.
    Is there a good way to do this?
    When I generate the DLL the parameter is shown simply as a uint32_t (I have the ENUM defined as 32 bit in LV rather than the default 16 bit).
    I would have expected that all ENUMs that are parameters or return values of any function going into a DLL would automatically be defined in the DLL's header...
    They really should be typedef ENUM definitions with the name of the LV control being given to the typedef by default.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Klaus

    You can export all items from an Enum Control using the "Strings[]" property. The values for enums always begin with zero and increment by one.
    Does this help?
    a.lia-user-name-link[href="/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/88938"] {color: black;} a.lia-user-name-link[href="/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/88938"]:after {content: '';} .jrd-sig {height: 80px; overflow: visible;} .jrd-sig-deploy {float:left; opacity:0.2;} .jrd-sig-img {float:right; opacity:0.2;} .jrd-sig-img:hover {opacity:0.8;} .jrd-sig-deploy:hover {opacity:0.8;}

  • How to export reports definitions?

    Hello,
    I would like to transfer my reports definitions to an other EM grid control, is it possible?
    Thanks
    Edited by: user4139871 on Feb 26, 2009 8:34 AM

    Finally it's not possible !
    ANSWER FROM ORACLE
    ==============
    No, this functionality is not available in current versions of the Grid Control product. If you want to see this capability included in future versions, a Product Enhancement Request needs to be opened. Reference the following Note available on My Oracle Support/Oracle MetaLink for more information on this process:
