Export to Zenfolio v5.2 EXTREMELY slow

Hi,
I have been using LR 5.2 for several months now and use the Jeffery Friedl Plug-in to export images to Zenfolio. This past week, I am having serious issues exporting to zenfolio - It takes about 10 hours to export 64 images, that's over 6 minutes for a single image. I have no idea what is making this happen and am looking for any suggestions or if anyone else has experienced this???

Slow export to Zenfolio Q

Anyone else have this problem? It started between 2 upload sessions about a week apart. Now takes 15 min or more to export one med Jeg.

A3 to Zenfolio Export

Can anyone tell me (step by step) how to setup A3 to export to Zenfolio? (I've already downloaded the necessary file, but don't know where to put it, (be nice). Too bad Aperture can't be a easy as iPhoto! Thank you!

You are going to put it into a particular folder. In a Finder window, click on your hard drive icon in the left column. Then follow this path to the proper folder:
Library>Application Support>Aperture>Plug-Ins>Export
So, place the file you downloaded in the Export folder above. If Aperture is running, quit and restart. Zenfolio should now be one of you Export options for Aperture. Also, be sure you downloaded it very recently. A new version (v .19) came out that works with Aperture 3 in 64 bit mode.
I use the plug-in and it works great.

Lightroom export - relative subdirectory

Hi, this question is pretty much what I want to ask (http://forums.adobe.com/message/1461872#1461872) but the answer is not clear to me.
I want to create export pre-sets in LR 2.4 and keep them in relative subdirectories.
Say I attend an event I want to create the following:
<Event1>
   <RAW>
        <selected>
        <rejected>
   <web-watermarked>
   <DVD-print>
   <slideshow>
<Event2>
   <RAW>
        <selected>
        <rejected>
   <web-watermarked>
   <DVD-print>
   <slideshow>
In the export dialogue I can create a preset to export to a subdirectory of the parent so I could have:
<RAW>
     <web-watermarked>
     <DVD-print>
But that is not what I want.
Ideally my export would be to "..\DVD-print" but "..\" is not allowed. As I export I want to add to catalogue.The best I can do is export to subdirectories and then move them once completed. That's clunky.
Is it possible to tell 2.4 to do a relative export?

2. I've also lost all my watermarks and am unable to recreate watermarks that actually appear on export files.
For the record I am using LR 3.2 64 bit beta with Windows 7 64 bit
I've been using them for months.
This problem occured yesterday for the first time.
I have backedup, as recommended by LR, several times.
Restores have not helped.
There have not been any recent system updates.
The only plug-in I use is the export to zenfolio.
The watermark problem is not related to the zenfolio plug-in, I have the same issue exporting to hard disk without the plug-in.
The watermark editor does not show the choosen graphic as it last time I checkede (several days ago.)
I don't understand why keysets are not part of the backup...
Are they not part of the catelog?
Feel free to ask me all the questions you want, but please help me resolve this issue.

Plug-In for exporting/importing links

I need a plug-in that can export/import all links from a pdf.
Until now I found only one http://www.evermap.com/autobookmark.asp
But it's kinda pricy... does anybody know of anything else?

I use Jeffrey Friedl's “jf Zenfolio” plug-in and highly recommend it. Unlike most plug-ins of this sort, it get syncing right. Most will allow you to upload once, and then if you change things in Lr, the syncing goes to heck. Not JfZenfolio. It's a pleasure to use.

Exporting chronologically by capture time without having to rename files

Is there any way to export files by capture time without having to rename all the files? Right now they are always rearranged numerically by the file name and get all mixed up chronologically.

Although it may not be of help to you, it happens that Jeffrey Friedl's "Export to Zenfolio" (Lightroom plugin) provides the option to keep the destination folder (Gallery) sorted according to various criteria, such as creation date, etc. This would do what you want, but unfortunately this doesn't work for general export (e.g., to disk). I'm not aware if anyone's written a plugin that does export file-sorting for "general" export.
Friedl also has written "Export to..." plugins for Smugmug, Picassa, Flickr, and Facebook, although I don't know if all (or any) of these have the same gallery sorting options as in his excellent Zenfolio export plugin.

Lightroom Export Presets Missing!

I have tried the restore presets under preferences and doing a repair as an installation option but neither restored Lightrooms presets. I am using V2.6. Any ideas on how I get the Lightroom export presets?

Trouble with LR plug-in to Facebook

Hi,
I can't export from Zenfolio (using my LR plug-in) to my Facebook page. It's enabled, etc. Any advice? The error message says: Information on album could not be retrieved from Facebook.

Aperture - Spinning Ball and Becoming Un-responsive

Lately, Aperture has been exhibiting a quite persistent habit of getting stuck. Symptoms start usually with a spinning beach-ball, or a blank browser after switching albums, and often ending in an unresponsive crash.
My system:
Aperture 2.1.3
Raw 2.5
OS 10.5.6
3 GHz Dual Quadcore Xeon
6 GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT
2 Apple displays.
ProKit Update
Plugs: Complete Nik set, and Export to Zenfolio.
I am sticking with 10.5.6 because 10.5.7 broke Aperture completely. Amongst other things.
Main Camera: 5D Mark 2 with latest firmware. Shooting Raw.
CAUSE: (difficult to repeat exactly, but it's persistent)
This usually occurs at the start of a session. I am usually importing (which goes fine) then I start organising, before rating. I organise by moving (quite large) groups of pictures from a project to a sub-album within that project. At this point the fun starts. Switching between two sub-albums (to coin my own term here) is usually the cause of this.
Another cause, happened just now, is stamping a whole bunch of images, In this case I was stamping a Raw preset. The stamping "went ok", although took time. But - then switching albums created the hang.
Is anyone else getting this? And if so, could they please try (I know it's boring) to include any info on what you might have been doing just prior to the hang.
Aperture is great, but seems sticky, especially since acquiring a Canon 5D Mark 2. The mark 1 was smooth, baby, smooth.
Moderators - I think we need a guided thread on this. I see that many users are, in a haphazard way, indicating problems with stickiness and hanging in Aperture 2.1.3.

Aperture as always exhibited this behavior for me. But crashes are uncommon. Just minutes at a time of the spinning beach ball of doom.

Aperture 2.1.4 quits with Lion.

Aperture 2.1.4 quits several times a day. Started after installing Lion (10.7.2). I run Mac Book Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo with 4 Gb of RAM. Thanks, Juan

I upgraded to Lion 7.2 from OS X last Sept 2011. Apple 2 had been working fine. In fact, it has worked perfectly, so far as I recall since I upgraded in Sept.
Today I have this message, repeated ad nauseum
Error message from Aperture at startup:
Protection Exception
This application cannot continue because another application with an identical serial number is already running on another computer on your network.
However, I do not have Aperture 2 on the other iMac in the house, or elsewhere. (Well, there is a copy of my Ap 2 sitting in my old G5 iMac. But it is not powered or plugged in to anything)
I have a couple of addins. I added Export to Zenfolio, added about 14 days ago, and Export to facebook has been there for months, or years.
I have no duplicate fonts in my Font library.
When I bought my new iMac in May 2011, I was advised not to upgrade to Aperture 3 as a new version was likely. Besides, Ap 2 performs totally OK for what I need. I uploaded a dosen albums to Zenfolio in the last fortnight with no problem.
It's a mystery.
However, since I would like to ensure my Aperture DB is backed up to a Vault before I migrate to Aperture 3, I need to be able to run Aperture 2.
Perhaps all I need to do is remove the Aperture Addons. How do I achieve that?
Anything else I could try?

RAW photo storage

Just wondering if the iPod Classic stores RAW format photos. I'm looking for a high-capacity portable storage device for a photo-heavy trip.

Forget my above post. I just found my problem. I export my photo's to my Zenfolio account using Jeffrey Friedl's "Export to Zenfolio" plugin and it is sending a reduced size JPEG copy of my export to the orginal folder.

RAW & JPEG IN PHOTO STORAGE FOLDER

I just noticed in my photo storage folders, I have both a raw file and a jpeg file with the same photo number. The jpeg photo is the revised photo of the original raw file. Is this correct? I just noticed this after upgrading to 2.2.
I would assume the raw file is the unaltered file and the jpeg is the altered file that is displayed in Lightroom, but displayed as a raw file.
I hope I have made myself clear on this.

Zenfolio export Q

Anyone know if I will need to reload my Zenfolio export plugin?

Sadly, I'm not getting to upload. Aperture 2 (which I love, save for this issue!) allows me to get as far as the Log in dialog, and when I do (log-in to Zenfolio), nothing happens. The Log in button is still there, and none of my galleries are available. If I click the Log in button again, the drop-down window shows my information for logging in that I just entered, but clicking ok only makes that window disappear. It never completes the log in phase.
Any suggestions? BTW, I recently installed a new hardrive in the Macbook, and updated all my apps from a Tiger backup after a fresh install of Leopard on the new drive. This is in fact my first attempt to upload new images to Zenfolio since the new drive/OS/Aperture 2 upgrades. Am I missing something?

Is there a way of setting up one more than one export preset to a funcion key?

is there a way of setting up Lightroom to export images in using more than one export preset at one time? When I have edited my photos I very often want to create a full res JPEG to upload to Zenfolio with no watermark, a medium res JPEG to go to Flickr and a 1500px image with a watermark for Facebook (I normally upload these last). I'm hoping Lightroom would also have a an option to set Function keys to trigger export presets for example.
I'd like to be able to stack export presets to help with my workflow.
