Export user data

Hi All,
I am using Siebel 7.7
My test environment will be overwritten by production data, the only issue being that the test environment users would not be able to log in then on the test environment as the test data is overwritten.
Is there a way to make sure that test users are still able to log in & do whatever they could before production data came in.
I thought about going about finding the tables related to S_USER i.e. the relationships so that I can take a cut of those tables from Test environment and then import them back after the production data has come into test environment, but this might be a problem as the tables I identify are most likely going to have referential data which would link them to some other important tables.
Anybody has an alternative and the best way to go about his.
Note: I only want user data in the Test environment, rest everything from production is fine

Hey Guys,
I'm using csvde to export users data for management reports.
I'm asked to add to the exported data the group membership of the users and I'm having problem doing that.
My current script is:
csvde.exe -s 192.168.xx.xx -d "ou=CS,dc=Domain,dc=com" -r objectClass=user -l "Company,DisplayName,sAMAccountName,title,lastlogon,pwdLastSet" -f c:\usersonly-Users.csv

Hi everyone,
Can you export the date and user to Excel that appears into a Comments field in a tracking list?
When i export a tracking list with a Comment field in the Content type, the screen where you enter the data for an item, the Comments field just export the text of the comment into the Excel file.
In the Comments field appears also, besides the comment text, the user and date from who and when the comment is added.
Is there a way to export also the user and the date?

create another comment field that doesn't use 'appending', and through SP Designer change workflow keep
updating that field with the new comments (prepend the field with date/username/new comment). Hide the field on all forms, but put it in the view you need to export to Excel.

Problem with Export User's data from database oracle 11g

i want export all user data and Its tables from oracle 11g database, I am using the comand exp, pero export only the tables with data, i Have Some tables and Not Without export data These tables,
can someone help me!

problem with zero extent table
exp is de-supported in 11g. Use expdp instead to export tables without any rows.

WFM export user/schedule data

Hello, all. Does anyone know how to export WFM (not QM) user/schedule data out? We have WFM 8 and want to export user/schedule data out to integrate with a third party reporting application. I've looked through a few of the WFM tables but couldn't figure out which tables contain those data. is there a DB schema manual? Does anyone know how to export the data out?

Exporting USER along with data

Hi there,
Is it possible to export User along with data. I have 5 tables which belong to user DEVELOPER. I want to EXP this user with 5 tables.
When I run the IMP, it errors out saying USER does not exist.
I use like USERID=SYSTEM/MANAGER FULL=Y or I tried also with FROMUSER=DEVELOPER , TOUSER=DEVELOPER
I can get away from this error by pre-creating DEVELOPER user but what if I have 20 users with their data.
Is it possible that IMP will create user first and then import the data?
I am using Oracle 9i on Windows.

As Michael mentioned you can't export roles and users in a general way.
To add to it, you can always export users and roles if they are created used development workbench. That means if your developer has created any repository roles or users using development workbench or WebIDE you can export them by assigning those roles/privileges to a package/delivery unit. Make use of studio/HALM/CTS for that.
However to export users and roles created by admin workbench using gui can't be exported.

I Added the Function "HR ADI Seeded Integrator Form Functions" into the "AE HRMS Manager" Responsiblity. It is also working and Export Data icon is enable.

Let me make sure I understand the request... There is a feature in the Response table to "Save Response as PDF Form" and you'd like to do this excluding the null data (unanswered questions). If that is correct it is not supported, the "Save Response as PDF form" will save a PDF that is the entire form filled out as the user filled it.

Hello,
I would like to have sugestions and help to solve a problem in IS 4.2.
I've created a view from two tables, joined together with the key from each one.
Then i've binded the rule with the view (mentioned above) created and calculated score for it.
The calculation is successful, however when i try to export all failed data i have the following error:
"Encountered an error while exporting the data. View the lof file (DPR-10126)"
When exporting failed data from calculations made directly to the datasources i do not encounter any problem, but when i try to export all data to CSV file (not only the 500 results limit) i have this kind of error.
However, when i visualize the data from the view created, it is also possible to export to csv file.
Resuming, the error occurs only when exporting all failed data from the view.
Can anyone help with this issue?

Your information is correct.
I've just confirmed it in the 4.2 SP3 Release Notes and they specifically refer to this issue.
A user who has 'View objects' rights for the project and a failed rule connection cannot export the failed data. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Getting error in Exporting the data from legacy system to Tables

I am trying to export the data. But am getting the below error.
Unknown system exception - java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: java.net.ConnectException: t3://abc.com:7001: Bootstrap to abc.jdadelivers.com/0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1:7001 failed. It is likely that the remote side declared peer gone on this JVM.
No records are exported.

Format : Seperated (,) , enclosing character (")

I tried with with different user but getting the same error. Please have a look and let us know the route cause of the issue.

Exporting a data form to Excel

When exporting a data form to excel, if any of the columns are read only the user is only getting the column headers, not the rows and no data. The export works correctly when all the columns are write. Has anyone had this issue before? We are version 11.1.1

Yes, you can export user responses into an excel file. To do that, open the responses tab, select Files -> Export Responses and select Microsoft Excel to export response data into.

Exporting table data to a CSV file

hello everyone,
i need help on exporting table data to a CSV file.
I have a div element containing the table which displays some data.
there is a "Export" button just above the table, which if clicked, will export the current data in the table to a .csv file.
can this be done in jsp? or i need to use servlet?
also how can i submit the table data only? (as my webpage contiain other data also)
can anyone provide with some sort of sample code?

when the user will click on the export button, i want to greet him with a "Save As"
popup, so that he can specify the filename and location to save the file.
