Exported nested collection only saving schema, not data?
Robin proposed an answer of exporting multiple collections into one:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/3c55b873-a0c7-4cc8-9bab-eaf809f62ab0/exporting-data?forum=projectsiena
It seems to work as long as you immediately import - this is because the collection is still in memory. If you exit the app (or clear the collection), then only the schema can be loaded because the data itself isn't saved.
When I look into the .zip file, I see that the schema is being written but no underlying data.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong and that's why I'm only getting the schema?
I would be happy to share the project I've been working on if that would be helpful.
Thanks!
Thor
thorwm,
I was initially experiencing the same issue, but it turns out I was just confused (again). I was building the nested collection during the OnSelect event for the Export control. Apparently, the OnSelect event happens
AFTER the Export control performs the export. This can be seen by simply doing the export twice.
I have to look at a better way to perform the nested collection process. Hopefully this is the same issue you are experiencing.

SAP BI System Copy with only Config changes, Not Data
Hi BASIS,
I have a requirement from a client to build a system landscape stratagy for their SAP BI system.
We have DEV - QA - PRD systems for SAP BI (7.0 SP 16)
Both DEV and QA are completely out of sync with PRD. We are doing development tasks directly on PRD. Now we have decided to re-sync the DEV & QA systems with PRD.
'System copy with Data' will be easier to implement. But our PRD DB size is nearly 3TB. The client is not ready to pay for the extra/temp. disk space for DEV and QA sync. ( We are on DB2).
Now, we have only one option left. Capture all Config changes from PRD and transport them back to DEV & QA. This is a tedious task and cause many inconsistencies.
Would anyone have any other ideas to bring the systems in sync with less time involved and less resources.
I am a SAP BI person. So dont know much about BASIS tasks. Please help me with any links of best practises or SAP notes.
CheersHI Reddy,
We came to know from our basis team that we do not have the Java Stack installed in our BI 7.x system yet.
As it is integrated with EP which has Java, our web reports are working.
1) But my question is still do we ned to install the Java Stack in our BI system as i do not find any Export to PDF option in EP for the reports (eventhough AS Java supports this).
2) Or can we use the existing configuration without Java STack integrated to EP for the new tools like Report Designer and Integrated Planning?

Exporting/Sharing Custom XMP metadata schema not possible?
I've written a Python script which automatically encodes Quicktime files which I've mastered out of Premiere Pro CC with embedded custom XMP metadata (created using "New Schema" in the Metadata Display panel). I'm using the embedded custom metadata to drive the Python script (e.g. "Spot Title", "Client Name", fields etc etc), which encodes the source QT file to several different formats, based on the delivery specifications of various local TV broadcasters which the encoded files will go to.
Everything about the XMP metadata entry/writing/parsing is fantastic. My only hitch is in the exporting/sharing of the custom metadata schema which I created for this purpose. I would like to roll the schema out to the other editors in our facility, so that they can also enter the XMP metadata on their own systems when they export out master timelines from Premiere.
But unless I'm missing something, I can't figure out a way to "share" or export my custom schema for use on another system. Is this not possible in Premiere Pro CC?There's no feature for exporting and importing custom schemas, but it's entirely doable. Here are the path to the custom schemas
MAC: Macintosh HD ▸ Users ▸ <username> ▸ Library ▸ Application Support ▸ Adobe ▸ XMP ▸ Custom File Info Panels ▸ 4.0 ▸ custom
WIN: C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\XMP\custom file info panels\4.0\panels [I can't vouch for this path as I'm on Mac at the moment and it's been ages since I poked around for custom schemas, but this should at least be the right neighborhood.]
You might also be interested in sharing your custom metadata display profiles. They in Documents ▸ Adobe ▸ Premiere Pro ▸ 8.0 ▸ Profile-mapes ▸ Metadata Preferences. -

In schema2 , i have only table structure , not any data ..Nothing wrong with exporting the structure. Just use 'ignore=y' on the import. When it tries to do the CREATE TABLE it (the CREATE statement) will fail because the table already exists, but the ignore=y means "ignore failures of CREATE", and it will then proceed to INSERT the data. -
I forgot to save the pages file, I do back up on time machine could a temporary file be in there somewhere? It was a 30+ page custom designed presentatiion that took me two weeks. i cannot believe I only saved it as PDF and .doc! My current theory is that I can only edit the document in pages as a pages file since that is what I had been doing. Please help if anyone has had this problem before or know how I can recover that screen I was working with a few days ago before I saved as a Word doc!!
Despite what Apple and its employees say Pages is not a 100% replacement for Word.
Pages files exported to .doc will have minor to major differences.
You should always have a Pages version. Exporting is only so non Mac and non Pages users may read it, and even there you should use .pdf to keep its appearance as close as possible to the original.
It sounds like you used a lot of Pages' features which turned out to not have Word equivalents.

FF67 problem, can't change statement date(statement saved but not post)
I need to change the statement date of a bankstatement. I did not post the statement yet.
I used a wrong statement date, and I want to change it, but I saved it after booking the second screen(the one with the
statement items)
When I look by Manual Bank Statement Overview I see the bankstatement, but it has no Posting complete remark yet, because it has not been postefdofcourse.
The problem is I can't change the statement date, because when I try to Post then the systems gives an error because it does not accept the new statement date I want to use.
Is there a way to solve this problem? The statement has not been posted yet, so I suprised I can't change the statement date.
Anyway I hope somebody can help me out.I had to post them first because otherwise it looks I could not delete the statement.
I saw no Id with only saving, that's why I post them. then the statement got an id.
What do I have to choose to make it possible to delete statements, not posted yet.
I guess I have to select something else because I did not see any Id to choose.
I do a manual input of the bankstatements (no import).
Whst's the best I can do now? What do you mean with FI?
I guess I can do a manual booking on the three(send/receive and general) bankaccounts to get the right position of the accounts?
The bankstatements are ok(booked with ff67) only the three accounts I mention above have the wrong position. -
Export oracle database schema without data
Hi All,
cany any one tell me how to export oracle database schema without data using exp command not datapump command.step 1
type exp help=y
step 2
read the output
step 3 now run exp ... rows=n
Life can be so easy when you aren't lazy. You don't waste time asking to be spoon fed by others if you can do something yourself in 2 seconds.

I updated my LG G3 this week and now it SUCKS! When I'm connected to WIFI, nothing on Facebook works. The photos and videos won't populate. I have to turn off the WIFI and only use the mobile data. Not to mention, I really hate the way it looks now. Before I updated my phone, I really liked it, now I don't like my phone at all! When will this be fixed? I hope it's soon. I'm thinking of changing providers now.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina) and a Sony HandyCam DCR-HC48 video Camera. The Sony only exports video via Firewire, which is not available on the Mac. Is there a firewire to USB or to HDMI adapter?
tyler57,
it would be better to direct that question to Gary Loftis, since my MacBook Pro doesn’t have a Thunderbolt port. -

File Adapter fixed length Native format Builder schema not reading the data as expected
Hi
We are using a File Adapter for reading a fixed length data. Using the schema we are able to read the file but the places are incorrect. Following is the schema that we used and the payload.
At the last you can find our expected read of data how it should be.
With out the record type code we are not even reading the file. Hope there should be a correction in the schema. Please suggest
