Exporting to iOS release break project

Hi,
I'm working on a project right now for a couple of months, and suddenly, the release export to iOS breaks. I have been debugging for the last 2 days, but can't find the solution. It works great in AIR simulator, or with fast packaging / release debug packaging.
Can I send you the project files Adobe, so you can have a look?

Or is there a way to see more info? Maybe a log file? Or iOS log file?
I get an error in the beginning of the app. (Let's say a #1034 error). But that error isn't true, has nothing to do with what the error says. If I remove a piece of code, what has literally nothing to do with that part, it works again.
I'm rebuilding the whole project now, piece by piece, until it breaks again. Really frustrating.

This will not work.. Ypu cannot use FTP to 'PULL' a document into the database. (Yes I know there's a placeholder for an FTPURITYPE() but it was never implemented).
However you can use an FTP client to PUSH content into the XML DB repository. If the content is schema based XML associated with a known (registered) XML schema the content of the file will automatically be stored in the default table associated with the root element of the file. If the content is not associated with an known XML schema you can then use xdburitype to read the resource that was created when the document was uploaded into the repository

It's because the PowerMac G5 had HUGE bandwidth with a fat BUS on each processsor so they could run hard, hot and heavy.
It's not so with the Intel processors which are multi-core and share a common bus thus bottleneck.
The newer Intel processors can do more work on the CPU, but when it comes to in/out they are s-l-o-w.
I've had a wickedly fast dual processor (not dual core) G5, RAID 0 pair of 10,000 RPM drives as boot and a fast video card, I could do a lot very very fast.
You'll likely have to upgrade to Final Cut X to get more cores utilized, prepare to cry a little bit, Apple is working on the features they stripped out of it to make amends to pro users who complained loudly. (all over TV too)

Has anyone encountered a situation in FB when you click on export realise build of a project and nothing happens? Quite annoying

Error while releasing the project

Hi Friends,
While releasing the project I am getting the error :-
JV Object Type Is Required by JV Parameters for company code 1000.
What does it mean and how can I overcome this.?

Hi Amit,
go to CJ02 and open the project click on settlement rule tab(or press F7).
then u will go on one new screen. in that screen follow the following path
goto------->settlement parameter (or press F8)
then u will reach another screen there will be settlement profile
field . u select it as not for settlement.
then back on main project change sreen and save it
now u go in cj02 and release.

I have upgraded RAM Memory cards from 4 to 8 GB and cleaned away the soft wear and files I do not need.
The movie is in HD and about 25 min long.
The "Problem Info" says:

Export your project as a movie file
Choose Share > Export Movie (or press Command-E).
Choose an export format from the Export pop-up menu.
This menu provides a list of codecs.
Choose an option from the “Open with” pop-up menu:
Do Nothing: The movie is not opened after the export is completed.
Open with QuickTime Player: The movie is opened in QuickTime Player.
Open with Compressor: The movie is opened in Compressor (if installed on your system).
Choose an option from the Include pop-up menu: Video and Audio, or Video Only.
If you’ve set In and Out points in the Timeline, use the Duration pop-up menu to choose whether to export the sequence or the portion between the In and Out points.
To specify additional Motion-specific options, click Render.
For more information about options available in the Render pane, see Render settings.
To see details about the file to be output, click Summary.
Click Next.
Enter a name and choose a location for the exported file, then click Save.
Motion renders and saves your movie.
Important:    The Export Movie command does not use background rendering, so you must wait until rendering is finished before you can continue to work in Motion.

In Numbers 08, I used to be able to export a single page to a PDF. Now it seems as though my only option is to export the entire document to the PDF (Share > Export...). Am I missing the option or did they remove it from us?

How to make second phase release when project released?

I'm new to cproject. My issue is second phase (does not has tasks) can not be release when project is released and however first phase which under project directly able to release. Do you have any idea on what cause this problem and how to resolve it?

This is Std system behaviour.
Once the Project is released the No 1 Phase is released.
For release of 2nd Phase, there can be two scenarios based on Confg of Phase type
1. For stage gate Config: Once you complete that phase 1, you can release phase 2
2. For w/o Stage Gate method: you can release two phases simultaniously

Tutorial on creating animations in Flash then exporting to IOS?

I have to do an app for someone, its a children's story with animation and audio. I have been in Flash Since Flash 4 so I'm comfortable building the animations and scenes in Flash ( Now I have CC 2014) I need to make sure that the buttons codes will work on touch screens like I Pad once ithe file is exported to IOS.
Not too much info on this as I have been looking around for a while. I do remember see a tutorial I think it was in CS5 or 6 but can't locate it.
Just to be clear, I need the tuts to explain how to go about exporting to IOS or Android.

if you're publishing for android everything is much simpler. you can create your own (good for 35 years) self-signed publishing certificate.
flash cc and cc 2014 were significantly easier to use with a usb-plugged in mobile device (including android devices).
after connecting your android device via usb and your os recognizes the usb plugged-in android device, click control>test movie>on device via usb>refresh device list (unless the device is already listed in which case you can just click the device listed). when you publish your app will be published on you mobile.
but the, by far, best part is you can debug (ie, use trace and see error messages) on your flash pro computer while running your app on your mobile by clicking debug>test movie>on device via usb>and select your mobile (or refresh just like above).
as for android screen sizes, just like idevices, there are a number of sizes. here are common ones:
xlarge screens are at least 960dp x 720dp
large screens are at least 640dp x 480dp
normal screens are at least 470dp x 320dp
small screens are at least 426dp x 320dp
i usually use a stage size that the client thinks is most important and then i publish for full screen. you can then pick the best (for you) stage scalemode option.

I'm looking for someone to render (export) a final cut X project for me. I am running FCX on my MB air & it works surprisingly well for small projects. However, I have a 4 minute video that is outside of the limits of my machine. I am assuming there is a way to dropfile the project & have someone else export it for me & dropfile it back to me as a HD video I can post on Vimeo. I am willing to pay for this service.

I may not be doing this correctly, I created the new library & when I tried to copy the the clips it said this:
You are editing compound clips or multicam clips between libraries.
Final Cut Pro will copy files and create new parent clips in the library "Movies".
The new clips will be independent of the original parent clips.
Media stored in external folders will be linked to but not copied.

If the system just Restarted on it's own, Shut down while you were working on something then started back up all those changes, edits, you had done in that app, document, are gone.

Is every ios release overtakes the previous firmware version ?

Well I dont Know from where to start ....
I am using an Iphone 5 the problem is I am stuck in the recovery mode due to error 1 which is obviosly a hardware issue and most likely to be a baseband problem but here it is why am I asking this question because I was running ios 7.0.6 and suddenly the iphone became in ''Searching..." mode so tried the factory settings by erasing all data and settings but couldn't help so I went DFU mode and restored my iphone using 7.1 IPSW and Wizardry the iphone worked for just one day then the same problem ''Searching..'' .
So I went DFU mode again but this time I let itunes to update to the latest firmware version which is IOS 7.1.1 and then amazingly the phone worked for few hours but then again same problem '' Searching..." and BTW EVERY THING WORKING FINE EVEN WIFI EXCEPT THAT NO CALLS,TEXTS OR CELLULAR DATA AND THERE IS NO IMEI OR FIRMWARE.
So I went DFU for the third time but I got the error 1 alert message and Now I am stuck in Recovery mode.So .. Is that means that every IOS release over takes the previous firmware ... which means if I waited for the next IOS 7.1.2 or IOS 8 hopefully I will be able to get out from the recovery mode and run away from the error 1 alert monster ? ... and I know the problem searching might occur again but I think I might give up then for this handset then. But I want to try all the solutions and options I have in my hands since I got no AppleCare/Store in my Country

It is true that updates may potentially bring changes to some firmware as well as software, but not every thing changes in each update. If your hardware is failing compatibility with the current firmware, I would bet money that you are going to have issues with future versions as well. The iOS assumes that your hardware is in working order when it was designed and a failure in that hardware results in these errors and the inability to operate using the firmware. To assume that a different firmware (especially a future firmware update) will fix you issue is close to absurd, unless that firmware version made all iPhones (or even most) have hardware communication issues. Until that day, Apple is not going to alter the firmware. Also you stated that it worked then stopped multiple times and now you receive error 1, which during the update basically means the iPhone is not passing the hardware test, so even with a future update, the hardware is not going to pass the diagnostic test when installing firmware, therefore you will still need service.
Even if you have to send it off to a friend in the country of purchase, it's going to be better and faster than waiting on something that has a 1% chance of success.

IOS 5 breaks iPad internal speakers. Why?

iOS 5 breaks 1ST generation iPad internal speakers. Why? I don't know and neither does Apple Tech Support. Now... sound only plays back with a 3.5 phone jack.
I've seen/followed the threads and the advice therin, but there is no answer. So much for all my apps, radios, clocks? My iPad s basically useless.
Dare i say it.....jailbreak and try to downgrade te OS? Suggestions?

Downgrading the iOS is not supported. Do you get sound in any apps from the speakers e.g. Videos and Music apps but not other apps ? If you do get sound in the Videos and Music apps then have you got notifications muted ?
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. I'm looking for the descrition of IOS Release/Train codes. I see alot of IOS releases (12.2SXE, 12.2SRE, etc.).
I know only some of them. For example: S - for Service Providers, T - Technologie train, E - Enterprise train.
But what about another: X, R, etc. ?
Can somebody help me to find a full description of ALL IOS Release/Train codes?

Hi Piotr Covalciuc,
IOS routers would use the 12.4M (Mainline) or 12.4T (Technology). You will find the T train to contain the newest features but it may also contain the most bugs. We often recommend Mainline over T train if you are interested on stability in your network without the need of new features.
Other tracks would be platform specific, for instance;
12.2SX = Catalyst 6500
12.2SE = Catalyst 3xxx switches
12.2SR = Cisco 7600 Routers
12.2SB = Cisco 7200 and 7300 Routers.

Does Apple plan to discontinue support/update for 2nd Generation iPod touch as latest iOS release for it is 4.2.1?

I have 2nd Generation iPod touch and latest iOS release for it is 4.2.1. Most of the Apps on iTunes now require iOS 4.3 at minimum. Isn't it outrageous that Apple is not supporting such iOS update for older iPod? Is there plan to discontinue such support?

I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch too and I currently have 24 Apps that I cannot update. Unlike you however, I hold the App developers responsible for the fact that they (the App developers) are not supporting iOS 4.2.1.
It is the App devloper who decides to modify their App so that it then requires a particular version of the iOS. Since a developer can have a free and a paid version of an App, it begs the question why don't they have the older and newer versions.
I now check the requirements for an App before I click on update. If it still only requires iOS 4.2.1, then I can update. If it requires a higher iOS, the I simply don't update it. One good thing is that by now, most of the older Apps are quite stable and bug free, so the update is usually to give something extra. Since I cannot update the App, I simply forgo the "extras".
