Extended W/H Tax

Dear Sir,
While creating Withholding tax Challan, the error is getting errupted with the following message:
"No unpaid tax lines exist for the given selection criteria".
We are uanble to understand and solve this error. Please help us rectifying this error.
Thanks,
Rahul Jain

Hi,
Also check whether TDS line item has been created mannually.  Some times users delete the pop up comes while posting of an invoice.
You can chceck like below.  goto FBO3 and enter your document number, on menu bar you can find a tab for withholding tax.  If you found any information in that box, it means TDS line item has been generated automatically.  If couldn't find anything in that box, it means user entered that line item manually.
If the user entered that line item manually, you won't get those documents, when you are doing J1INCHLN, eventhough you have some balance in the relevant TDS GL account.

    Hi,
I am working on withholding tax(not extended withholding tax). Previously we have one company code for that we created withholding tax and withholding tax codes. Now we are going to create another 2 new company codes. Now how to assign the withholding tax codes to the 2 new company codes.
In extended i can assign withholding tax codes to company code but in withholding tax how i can assign withholding tax codes to the 2 new company code.
    Regards,
    Sankar

    Hi
You can assign the same w tax code to another company code also, for that you go through this:
Path: spro>financial global setting>Withholding tax> extended with holding tax
Company code  Assign with holding tax types to company codes
Path: spro>financial global setting>Withholding tax> extended with holding tax
Company code  Activate extended with holding tax
May be this information is useful to you
If you have any doubt feel free to ask

  • Extended Withholding Tax not Posting unless manually entered

    Hello.
My problem is that the WH tax calculation and posting does not occur automatically. For the posting to occur, I have to stipulate a WH tax base and WH tax amount in the WH tax tab in FB60.
I've got Extended Withholding activated in the Company Code, and have done what I believe to be all of the configuration. The WH tax type and WH tax code are in the vendor, and the "Subject to WH tax" flag is checked. The configuration is such that the WH tax posts at time of payment, and this posts as required if I feed the transaction the base and tax as noted above.
Any ideas as to what I'm missing?
    Thanks and Regards,
    David Flores

    Hi,
In SPRO Extended W/H Tax>Calculation>Witholding tax Type>Define Witholding Tax type at Invoice posting, double click the tax type and Check what have you selected in Calculation base Amount.
It should be Gross Amount and Post W/tax amount to be ticked.

  • Extending Withholding Tax & MIRO

Hi gurus: I wanted to ask you guys whether the Extending withholding tax configuration affects MIRO. At present we dont have tax configured on our PO's and hence does not affect MIRO. We are only using MIRO in the US and not across the world.
In another country I have configured Extending W/H Tax. When we do roll this out to that country, will I have to watch out for something that affects MIRO and Extending W/H Tax?
    Please advise
    thanks
    Brian

    Hi Brian,
MIRO transaction supports Extended Withholding Tax. This extended withholding tax details are entered in Vendor master data , no where we will enter the data in P.O.
If you use MIRO then Classic withholding tax doen't support.
Hope this clarifies. If helpful please assign points as a way of thanks.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Argentina Withholding Tax - RFWT0010

I am new to Argentina withholding taxes and trying to develop a process to update the vendor master and open items.   We currently perform the steps manually and it's very time-consuming and prone to errors.  We receive a file from the govt with the rates per tax number (CUIT) each month.  Is there a standard program to upload the file, perform a comparion of the rates on the master record and update the tax code on the master record?
I have not been successful in getting RFWT0010 to change the withholding tax code on the open line items when I change the withholding tax code on the vendor.  We have extended withholding.  Tax Type I1 is used for withholding tax and then we have different tax codes representing different rates.  A vendor might be I1 with tax code IM that has rate of 3% but we need it changed to I1 with IN tax code so it's 2%.  I ran RFWT0010 but it doesn't change the tax code from IM to IN on the open items.  I can get the program to delete or add a withholding tax type but it won't change a withholding tax code on an existing type.  Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong or steps I'm missing?
    Thank you,
    Kathy

    Hi
We had the same problem and we tryed an standard  program RFWT0020 wich can change WT types and indicators (sorry I don't know if this is the propper name in english) from invoices that have been allready paid or just posted. But it takes the WT information from vendor master data so you have to inform this data manually using FK02 in witholding data. Be awared that this program do not change accounts just types and indicators so if you execute it you're accounting data should be wrong. And remember you have to execute twice one for invoice document and once for payment document.
    Hope this can be usefull.

  • Withholding Tax report for USA 1099 MISC

    Hi!
I have configured extended with holding tax as per sap note to generate 1099MISC report for USA.
Actually all with holding tax types have been defined for while payment posting, but system is deducting with holding tax the time of invoice posting itself.
as far as I knew we have to untick liable field in vendor master , while posting invoice and activate again while posting payment, but it is cumbersome process.
My client is expecting with holding tax to be deducted only at the time of payment posting.
I have checked with holding tax types while posting invoice, nothing is there , view  V_T059PI is blank.
still system is trying to post with holding tax at the time of invoice only.
Is there any other configuration to restrict with holding tax posting while doing invoice?
    regs,
    ramesh

    Hi Ramesh,
please, review SAP Consulting Note 363650 - Withholding Tax Configuration for 1099MISC - this note might help you to solve the issue.

  • Report for determining withholding tax codes for vendors

    Dear Experts,
Is there any report in SAP thru which I can determine the withholding tax codes assigned to a particular vendor? This is required as the client has over 100 withholding tax codes and not able to know which vendor is assigned to which withholding tax.
    Appreciate your inputs
    Regards
    Komal

    Hi
Pls use the report Code S_ALR_87012086. In the output control, pls tick the check box "EXTENDED WITH HOLDING TAX." You will get the desired out put for your company code.

  • Extedn wth -taxes

    Experts:-
In extended wtith holding taxes comes one :- point i.e
1.Define extended withholding taxes types for invoice posting....
2.Define extended withholding taxes type for invoice for payment making.
My doubt and interivwer asking what is the need both of them, I am say some thing related aswer, but he is not satisfied, plz ur suggestion about this one...

    Hi,
As per the Income Taxt Act of 1961 in India, it is mandatory to deduct tax for the advances made to the vendor.
So it is required to deduct at the time of invoice or at the time of Advance(payment) whichever happening first.
You will be deducting tax at the time of invoice even for the tax deducted for advance. then you will clear(Downpayment Clearing) it
    System will make adjustment entry

  • Airport Express: Extend vs. Join

I have a 1TB TC as my base station and an older Airport Extreme (.n) upstairs to extend the network coverage throughout the house. I just bought a new Airport Express (.n) to add to my living room for streaming music. The Express has the option of extend or join existing network. Both will work to stream music, but I was wondering if there will be a degradation of overall system performance if I select the "Extend" option. Thoughts?

As Tesserax mentions, the "extend" configuration will tax the bandwidth of the system a bit, but I think it's fair to say that most users find the improved wireless coverage more than compensates for the slight bandwidth loss.
There are no hard and fast rules here with "extending" although I will mention that in general, most users tend to position the Express too far away from the main base station for it work at its maximum capability. If you configure your Express to "extend", try experimenting with an initial placement position of 1/2 to 2/3 of the distance from the main base station to the area you want to extend to.
