Extending length of Jingles to fit movie

There are lots of great Jingles but they only run for set times eg: 31sec and on the tutorials it shows that if you drag the track to fill the project window it will automatically fit to the project length but the Jingles only play for maximum of length. Up to now I have been editing them and trying to join them at strategic points so that it sounds like a longer continuous Jingle of the same tune but it is very difficult to get it perfect and it is generally noticeable so I try to do the joins on sections where the sound is dipped into the background when someone is talking. I have tried joining them together in GarageBand as well but that doesn't make it any easier. Is there some way I can stretch the Jingles to fit or loop them in such a way that they repeat without an obvious break? I would really appreciate any input.

it will work if your text frame fit within your page else it leave as overset text frame.

Hi all,
simple question here:
Is anybody aware of a commercially available (or soon) Java Card implementation that supports extended length APDUs? I really don't care whether its through JC2.2.2 or some proprietary mechanism.

I did not see any Java Card smart card which supports extended APDU. I think the problem is the global APDU buffer size on-card. Theoretically, if the card supports extended APDU, it must be able to store up to 65kB in the APDU buffer, which should be by definition transient. There could be a solution with some smart design on-card or proprietary middleware for the reader ...
Someone mentioned here a company (Athena Smart Card Solutions, Japan) which supports Java Card 2.2.2 . I checked on their web-site and they claim to have extended APDU support as well:
T=1 Protocol T=1 with PPS for speed enhancement with extended APDU length support ...

Extended length

Can applet at the same time support both the extended length and simple length, meaning that one middleware can send extended length while the other can send simple length and the applet should understand both? Then let’s say that we are having read binary method. The APDU command does not have the data field. That method can return the long response. We would like to make it as fast as it can be. In that case the command and the response will be sent using the extended message support. Right? Although the APDU command is in this case really short, because the APDU response is quite large, the extended length has to be applied. And last, is there any prerequisite in order to use the extended length on the middleware side? Do all readers support it?

In theory, yes they can. The APDU lengths (Le and Lc) have rules to make it easy to determine what kind of APDU it is. You will have to be careful about how you get the Lc and Le though in your applet since buf[ISO7816.OFFSET_LC] is wrong for extended length.

The Java Card surpports APDU of 7816-4.But the class APDU says it doesn't surpport the extend length APDU.How to surpport the extend length APDU.

what library are you using? Are you using PCSC?
With jpcsc library in the APDU constructor method you can define the buffer length.

Extend length of a black skirt (profile)

Hi - I was wondering if it is possible to extend the length of a black skirt (in profile - basically would need to add a triangle sized piece of cloth to make the skirt look longer). The person isn't moving, so the graphic could almost be stationary. Any tips/advice/tutorial videos that you can refer me to would be great. The video was shot in HD 720p, and the skirt is very slightly different shades of black/gray. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Depending on the exact details of the shot, you could use the Clone Stamp tool or use a duplicate of the layer with a mask drawn around the bottom portion of the skirt, which you'd reposition and transform as needed.

3D within CS5 Extended... force transform (rotate, move, scale, etc.) on a particular axis...?

Thanks for any help regarding my question.
I'm new to 3D as this question will be obvious to 3Ders.
I'm importing art from either Sketchup or Swift3D. When it is imported I use the varying transform methods: scale, rotate and move. I utilize the 3D axis UI where it allows me to drag the manipulators on the 3D axis UI.
Sometimes I'm unable to grab a certain attribute (usually it's rotate because the axis in question (i.e. X) is not visibly available or is behind another axis. So I usually have to move unprecisely to see that axis so I may grab and drag.
Is there a way to force a transform property on a particular axis? So if I want to rotate on the X axis can I hold down a keyboard shortcut and drag? So it doesn't accidentally move another property I'd like not to transform, or allowing me to perform the transformation without having to move the axis UI so a axis modifier is more visible (thus allowing me to drag)?

Extend length of menu screen or loop program?

I'm prepping a DVD of corporate sponsor slides and and event information that will run for a 6 hour event on monitors. I'd love to be able to take my whole final cut project and make it the DVD menu so it loops all night - but I get cut off at about 30 seconds. Can that be extended indefinitely? How?
If not - is there a way to create a loop in a media file that is selected from the menu so that this runs indefinitely?

I'll have maybe a 5-10 minute montage of motion slides with sponsor logos, event information, etc. I was thinking if I leave it as the DVD menu, it will loop on it's own without direction from the DVD player - but if I can put it on the menu and have it loop automatically via dvd studio pro - that'll work too. Whatever should work best.
If there is not a limit to how long menu animation can last, I can just let the players loop on the menu all night. If there is a limit, I guess I need to know how to loop a program automatically.

Extend length for standard keyfigure

0BALANCE has limited to Char 17 and it is insufficient.
Wondering if it is possible to change the length of standard keyfigure because I did tried going to edit data dic of /BI0/OIBALANCE but it seems like there is nothing I can change ( of course after entering an acess key )

NEVER change standard objects..unless absolutely necessary.
this KF may be used across cubes and ODS..so change will impact all these objects..which may not be the intention..
copy the std infoobject and name it as ZBALANCE and then change copied infoobject and use it.

Editing a music track to fit movie

I have selected a music track from my iTunes library to back a short video in iMovie08. However whilst I can place the song anywhere in the movie, I'd like the song itself to start half way through the track, i.e. use the middle of the song to back the entire movie. Can I edit the song once imported? Thanks for any advice.

When itouch is moved, it makes a jingle noise and moves to a random song. Makes it impossible to use during exercize. Anything I can do?

Go to Settings>Music and turn off 'Shake to Shuffle'.

Extend length of Template?

I purchased a template online which animates some boxes with drop zones floating from left to right. At one point a box will expand for a couple of seconds and then shrink back down and continue moving left with the other smaller boxes.
I purchased the template because I'm not yet too familiar Motion.
I plan to learn motion in-depth when I have more time.
I find the animation moving too fast and I was wondering if there was some SIMPLE way I can slow down the whole animation without having to adjust multiple keyframes. I just want everything to happen allot slower. I know how to lengthen the media of all the items. I just don't know how to lengthen all the animation at once. I want to make a 8 sec animation about 12 secs.
Any help would be appreciated.

Rules move when changing length in InDesign CS5

Whenever I change the length of rules in CS5, the rule will then proceed to jump around on the page. Is this some simple setting I'm overlooking? Really slows down workflow when you have to change a rule length and then go and move the rule back to where it was. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

How large a change are wi talking about here? Small enough that it might be accounted for by something like an end cap on the stroke, or some larger random number?
Is it happening in all files, or just this one? If it's just this one, try Remove minor corruption by exporting but if it happens in all files and trashing the prefs didn't work I'm stumped for the moment. Can you post a link to a sample?
Just for fun, set Live Screen Drawing to Delayed. I don't think it will make a difference if you aren't using the mouse, but it's worth trying.
And are you using the Selection tool (black arrow) or Direct Select tool (white arrow), to select the rule?

Length of .avi/.mov files in Bridge?

Hi, is it possible to see what the length of your .avi or .mov file is in Bridge? It gives you file size, date created, etc., but say I want to find all of my background elements that are 10 seconds in length....is there a way to see that info?

If the clips are from one and the same tape with a continuous timecode,
subtract the timecode of the second clip from the first clip, this will give you the length of the clip.
You could use the Altenate Timecode for the length of the clip.

How to correct movie length?

I have a movie that is 40 minutes long, but it says it is only 15 and only plays that much.
It is the same file size as all he other movies I have that length.

What kind of movie? Let me guess: MPEG1 or 2?
Open in MPEG Streamclip, do CMD+F to fix timecode errors which means that there are breaks in the timecode and the player stops at the 15 minute mark where the break is.
Then export to MPEG (file menu) or take that time to use Streamclip to encode as a MPEG-4 using H264 and get it smaller as well.

I use “Copy List Item Extended Activity” in my workflow to move items to special folder in document library.it’s ok. But when I use this action to move items in special folder in list, it dose not work! Why?
This action only work with document library to move or copy items?
If not, how I can address special folder of list in “this url” in Copy List Item Extended Activity action?

when copying/moving files in and out of doc. libs, path to a sub folder can be specified as the destination (ex. http://moss/site/doclib/subfolder)
if should you already done this step, then please have a check the permission from the user account that you use, do the user account
have the enough permission on that other URL.
