Extends oracle.OAS.servlet.ServletRequest

I'm trying to extend the oracle.OAS.servlet.ServletRequest so I can generate my own sessions. The getsession method returns an HttpSession object and I'd like to return my own. The code below returns the following error:
Class 'ServletRequest' doesn't have a constructor that matches 'ServletRequest()'
Any ideas?
import javax.servlet.*;
import javax.servlet.http.*;
import java.io.*;
import java.util.*;
import java.net.*;
import java.sql.*;
import oracle.jdbc.driver.*;
public class ServletRequest extends oracle.OAS.servlet.ServletRequest
public ServletRequest(boolean p1)
null

I already did, but I was told that this forum would be the correct place to post the question
se extends oracle.cabo.servlet.AbstractPageBroker - PROBLEM: 404 Not Found

    This is the exact issue we are hitting.
    Following your suggestions, I have made a copy of the toolbox tutorial jsp page and have tried to launch the sourcing home page using the following link:
    &lt;a href="&lt;&#37;=URLMgr.processOutgoingURL("OA.jsp?OAFunc=PON_SOURCING_BUYER&OAHP=PON_SRC_SUPER_USER_HOME&OASF=PON_SOURCING_BUYER&OAPB=PON_SOURCING_BRAND&transactionid=" + transactionid, wctx) &#37;&gt;"&gt;Sourcing&lt;/a&gt;
    This link works perfectly on Jdev pre-RUP4, but once the RUP4 version (patch 5455514) had been applied, the error shown in the first post of this thread started.
    Setting a breakpoint in the processRequest method in BuyerHomeCO, the exception happens when it is running the line:
    if(!SourcingUtil.validateSourcingUser(oapagecontext, oawebbean))
    Stepping into this, with a breakpoint in the validateSourcingUser method, the debugger never gets to this method. It first wants to find the source for the class ContextClassLoader (in package com.evermind.naming) and then the class OAWebBeanHelper (in package oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui) before raising the exception shown. The debugger never gets to any method in the SourcingUtil class.
    All the class files being used are from the server where this error is not being seen, so it appears to be an issue around the RUP4 JDev or the project configuration or how it is being launched.

  • How to install oracle xsql servlet on bea weblogic 5.1

              Hi there,
              I tried to install oracles xsql servlet (1.0.4.1) on bea weblogic 5.1 without
              any success.
              in weblogic.properties I started with:
              weblogic.httpd.webApp.xsql=c:\\weblogic\\myserver\\servletclasses\\xsql
              And in this dir I have WEB-INF with the following web.xml:
              <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
              <!DOCTYPE web-app
              PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN"
              "http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-app_2.2.dtd">
              <web-app>
              <servlet>
              <servlet-name>oracle-xsql-servlet</servlet-name>
              <servlet-class>oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLServlet</servlet-class>
              </servlet>
              <servlet-mapping>
              <servlet-name>oracle-xsql-servlet</servlet-name>
              <url-pattern> *.xsql </url-pattern>
              </servlet-mapping>
              </web-app>
              So the xsql extension is mapped to the named servlet which is found in a jar file
              contained in subdirectory lib.
              The problem is that the general mapping of *.xsql extension to specified class
              does not work at all. And there are no errors...
              Application server just presents me with the content of the xsql file instead
              of executing servlet whith the xsql file as input.
              Any ideas??
              Thanx in advance.
              JK

    What kind of problem do you have?
    If it's not connected with JDBC, you'd better post your question
    in webservices newsgroup.

    i've been working with apache soap on wl 5.1 for a while now, and
    everything seems to be working allright- as long as i don't try to
    install a servicepack, namely sp8 or sp10. if i do that, the entire
    soap service fails to deploy.

  • Oracle XSQL Servlet Parse Error when anchoring a link to an image

    I have a database of document links that I wish to portray in a table as graphic images. In other words, each image is a hypertext link to the document.
    From my HTML 101 I used to do this as follows:
    <IMG SRC="image.gif">
    Note, no </IMG> end tag, but this produces an image that I can click to access that document. Lousy form, but it works.
    When I run my XSL with corresponding XSQL file to create the HTML file I get the following Servlet Parse Error:
    Oracle XSQL Servlet Page Processor 1.0.1.0 (Production)
    XSQL-006: XSLT stylesheet is not well-formed: ucmDatabase3.xsl
    XML parse error at line 66, char 15
    End tag does not match start tag 'img'
    I then added the </IMG> end tag,
    <IMG SRC="image.gif"> </IMG>
    which satisfies the parser, but now I get my graphic image AND the underlined linked text together in the same table cell, which SUCKS...
    Is there a way around this madness?
    Thanks for your comments..
    Jon Kotas
    Boeing
    Canoga Park, CA

    Remember that an XSLT stylesheet is, in particular, a well-formed XML document. In a well-formed XML document, you
    cannot have an unterminated element like:
      <foo>
        <bar>  <!-- This elemenent is not closed correctly -->
      </foo>So, in your example, you're running into the problem with
    your <IMG> tag, since you have:
      <A>
        <IMG src="...">  <!-- This elt is not closed correctly -->
      </A>You just need to close the IMG tag by changing the closing > to /> instead, like this:
      <A>
        <IMG src="..."/>  <!-- This elt *IS* closed correctly -->
      </A>When it's written out to the browser, you'll see that the
    trailing slash will be removed, so the browser will be
    happy, too.

    If you have a weblogic domain any BI components configured then you cannot use this domain to extend any other BI component. However you can use the same domain to extend with any other non BI Oracle product.

    Instead, declare the variable outside the while loop, and you can access it later on without any problems...
    String val = null;
    while (rset.next()) {
    val = rset.getString(1);
    }Just fyi though, in the current setup, you're only going to end up with the very last value retrieved from teh database, since you're overwriting val each time you loop through the resultset. If you want to keep all the variables, maybe use an ArrayList?

  • JDeveloper/OAS - Servlet Aliasing

    Hi,
    I have a couple of problems.
    1) Can anyone tell me how I can do servlet aliasing? In other words, where can I find a servlet.properties or any such config file to register my servlets. This seems to be a problem in both JDeveloper & OAS. I do not want to have a package-qualified class name for my servlet.
    2) JDeveloper 3.0 does not recognise a class as a servlet if it's immediate base class is not a servlet. This prevents me from running the servlet. How do I get around this problem. Here's my class heirarchy
    class A extends javax.http.HttpServlet
    class B extends A
    Thanks in advance
    Cheers

  • Extended oracle error details

    I've been using the OracleExecption, and OracleError class to retreive any errors that an SQL statement has generated, but I don't seem to be able to find the extended details of which line/column the error in the SQL statement relates to.
    Does anybody know how to get this information, or when this information will be made available? It's been there in existing Oracle interfaces so I can't understand why it's not in this interface.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the response but that will give me the details of where the error is within my application. What I'm after is knowing more about the error that has been generated from an invalid SQL statement.
    Within my application the user can specify SQL statements for obtaining data from the database, but if they type in a large SQL statement, and when it's submitted to the database and Oracle produces an Invalid Column name error, I need to know which column/part of the SQL statement contains the error.
    Using other legacy oracle tools you could find out which row and column within the submitted SQL statement caused the error. Does anybody know if this information is accessable via the new .NET interface.
    Thanks
