External Candidate Registration - ERecruitment

Hi Team,
We have an issue in External Candidate registration process. After, the external candidate registration got completed, the user id to be created in the backend is not happening.
Thus, the candidate is not able to login with the user id he has provided while registration.
But the details are available in the Talent Pool regarding the candidate.
Please through some light on how system actually creates an User in the backend when an external candidate registers.

I am also having an issue in case of external candidate registration and application.
We are also implementing E-Rec as standalone server. We have not yet integrated with 3rd party system. But our client wants integration with their company careers site. Before that I was trying to test the WD services through SICF.
As you mentioned above, I have done with the Service User creation and assigned the role for unregistered candidate also. Still i am facing the below error.
When i try testing the Candidate registration page I am getting the following error i am getting an Internal error in function module HRRCF_MDL_AWZD_IS_APPL_GROUP
When I tried testing the Application wizard, the system is throwing the following errors:
* Internal error in function module HRRCF_MDL_AWZD_IS_APPL_GROUP
* Internal error in function module HRRCF_MDL_AWZD_POSTHEADER_GET
* HRRCF_MDL_AWZD_POSTHEADER_GET does not exist
The publication period is over. You can no longer apply.
Can you please look into this and help me on this.
It would be great pleasure if you give me some inputs.

Disable duplicate email check for external candidate registration

Hi,
I am working with eRecruitment 6.0 and I would like to disable the duplicate email check on the external candidate registration page. Has anyone done this before? I have chased the code down to where it check for correct email syntax but I can't find where it does the duplicate email check. I debugged to where I was starting to see BP type function modules and bapis but I still can't find the check. I just want to turn it off for testing then turn it back on and test more. I have searched OSS and SDN and still no answers. I thought about using an enhancement point to 'ignore' the message but by the point the system has already decided not to create the user so ignoring the message is a mute point.
Anyone been down this road and can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

Hola,
Ok a small 'enhancement' to CL_HRRCF_ADDRESS_SERVICE->IS_EMAIL_UNIQUE has done the trick. Not exactly a best practice but will get me through this testing. NO this will not be going to production. This is strictly a test.

SAP E-recruiting EHP4 external candidate registration web dynpro ABAP

Hi all,
I am trying to activate the url of the web dynpro external candidate registration. we have setup the hrrcf_a_ext_cand(may be i misspelt the name) and it is fine.
Now when a user tries to register using the "REGISTER" button the application asks for another login(this is not a popup window), although anonymous user is setup for the REGISTRATION web dynpro application.
Any ideas..

External Candidate Registration does not create the user id

Hi Everyone
I am implementing EREC on Enhancement Pack 4 and I am trying to get External Candidate Registration to work. When I try to register nothing happens. User Id's are not created and I am not taken to the Candidate Profile screen. I have activated in SICF the hrrcf_a_candidate_registration service and assigned RCF_UNREG as a service user to it. I used OSS note 1017866 but it says:
Execute the IMG activities under "'SAP E-Recruiting' -> 'Technical
Settings' -> 'User Interfaces' -> 'Settings for User Interfaces with WebDynpro ABAP'". Note that you must execute the IMG activity for both the front end and the back end.
EP4 does not have this IMG path anymore.. So do I just setup both front end and back end? Can anyone help.

External Candidate REgistration

Hello Experts,
I have a query.
I would like add one custom field in the external candidate registration page.
In the external candidate registration page, first name, middle name, last name and email address are provided by SAP. These are all SAP standards.
I want to customize this pager by adding DOB fields.
Please guide me how to add the custom field DOB, in the external candidate registration page

Hi Dhinesh,
You'll need to enhance the componentcontroller and view VW_REGISTER of component HRRCF_C_REGISTER_UI.
Add a custom context element to the componentcontroller, map it to the context of the view and add it to the view. Then, create a post-enhancement on the REGISTER_CANDIDATE method to set the DOB after the candidate has been registered. This should have the least amount of impact on the standard coding.

ERecruitment external candidate registration pages goes Blank after SPS7

HI All ,
We have recently upgraded our system from NW 701 SPS3 to SPS7 .
Information :
Our eRecruitment setup is , External candidates will login through a
different server and we have eRecruiting integrated with the ERP but with
the frontend for the External Candidate on a different
server.
We have checked the SICF nodes (active)and Trex working fine , however when a
candidate registration page or job search is opened the page remains
blank .
The logs in SM21 are as below when we tried to reproduce the same .
RCF_UNREGSER R2 G HTTP/RFC session has been deleted following timeout
Can you please guide us on this .

Even i am facing some prob with External candidates.
I have registered sme external candidates and some internal.
When I go for Candidate selection under personal pages, select a requisition and give candidate search..only internal candidates are displayed. For any requisition I select, oly these internal candidates are visible. Can u please tell me where did I go wrong??

I am getting below dumo after clicking on registration. I have activated and configured the SICF service - HRRCF_A_CANDIDATE_REGISTRATION. Also I have assigned std. role SAP_ERC_UNR_CANDIDATE_CI_4 to service user - RCF_UNREGSER with reference user as RCF_CAND_EXT.

The current ABAP program "SAPLFKKA" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
    During the COMMIT WORK statement, the following are executed:
    - the routines registered with the statement PERFORM .. ON COMMIT,
    - the registered methods for the events of the object services
      and
    - possibly the local update (SET UPDATE TASK LOCAL).
    An exception was raised and caught. The normal sequence of the routines
    was interrupted by this resulting in the program being continued before
    the call of COMMIT WORK. As this can lead to inconsistencies, the
    processing cannot be continued in the normal way.
Pl help urgent.

The report from the dump doesn't belong to E-Recruiting but FI-CA. So the dump doesn't match to the HRRCF_A_CANDIDATE_REGISTRATION.

EREC: Internal Error while logging in using Registered External Candidate

Hi,
We are on ECC 6.0 EHP 5 & ERECRUIT 605 (0005) and EP 7.0 SP22.
I'm on the final stages of config on Production system for eRec applications, all works fine and ready for LIVE except the below functionality:
1. i've registered 2 uses as external candidates using the external url
2. when trying to login with that user, it throws internal error - this kind of issue didn't happen in DEV/QAS.
when i've checked the SLG1 below came:
Serious error; see log
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_ABSTRACT_CONTROLLER==CM001 line 56
The user is not assigned a candidate or an employee
The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_START_A==============CM007 line 19
The user is not assigned a candidate or an employee - this message didn't make me any sense as its the external candidate who is logging into the system.
Then i've checked that user by running the HRALXSYNC >User: 455DC84C411 > F8. This gave me below errors:
Determination of connections to object 'CP' of 'US' '455DC84C411' failed
User 455DC84C411 is not integrated in the organizational model
This kind of issue didn't repeated while I was configuring the DEV and QAS system, why i'm getting this only in PRD?

Hi,
I do not really understand what you expect from report HRALXSYNC. This report has nothing to do with the external candidates.
A common issue when things on the production system are not working like on dev / qs are insufficient authorization tests. So you should check the authorization trace for the sevice user wich is defined in the external alias for the external candidate registration ICF service. Furthermore checking the NA, CP, BP, US objects and the relations between them can help analyse authorization problems on the object creation.

Debugging WDA External Candidate Application - E-Recruitment

Hi I am trying to enhance E-Recruitment External candidate registration and Candidate profile applications which are built in Webdynpro ABAP.
My problem is I am not able to debug these applications using external(http) breakpoint as the breakpoint is set using my ID and the application user by default uses the user RCF_PUBLIC( I think so).
Please help me in finding a way to debug these applications.

Thanks for all the replies, they were all helpful.
Here is how I was able to debug it.
Transaction SICF -> select the WDA application ->activate Debugger(edit->debugging->activate debugger)->change the User to 'RCF_PUBLIC' or watever the user maintained in logon data for that service.
now set your breakpoint and test the application. I was able to successfully debug it.

When I use the URL to register an external candidate, I get this error: Could not determine recipients for message type HRMD_B.
E-Recruiting is on the same instance.
What could be missing in my config?

E-recruiting - Customizing external candidate start page with a new start p

I require some inputs from you on creation of new start page for external candidate.
I have a requirement to hide Age / Gender fields in the Personal data tab of the external candidate application wizard in the external candidate start page.
I Created a new start page with I.D "9001" and using customized context i was able to hide the Age and Gender fields. The URL using the customized context looked like below;

The external candidate start page requires the following services assignment to a service user;
hrrcf_apply_ext: Apply with Reference Code (Non Registered Candidate)
hrrcf_cand_reg: External Candidate, Registration
hrrcf_unrg_srch: Non Registered Candidate, Job Search
The service user requires SAP standard role u201CRCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATEu201D to provide access to any external candidate to do a job search and register. This role in standard would have application object u201C0002u201D u2013 Standard external candidate start page I.D which would provide access to the start page.
We have cloned the role to include the customized application object u201C9001u201D and have assigned it to the service user.
But even after doing this i get an error message when trying to execute the URL in IE which reads "You do not have the required authorisation to use this start page"
Iam not sure if iam missing anything on the authorisation part. Please advise.

Hello G Raj,
it seems you are mixing some things up. The service user is only for all parts of the e-recruiting which are accessable without logging in. This includes services linked to the unregistered search and the registration (where the applicant creates his candidate / his login). The service user is no candidate and has a special role (must not have a candidate object or the candidate authorization role).
As soon as someone logs into the system, e.g. to his start page, he acts as candidate. Depending on his relation to a P object he is either an external or an internal candidate.
In your example we are talking about external candidates. These candidates get a reference user assigned on candidate creation which is customized for the external candidate role (here the e-recruiting role) in IMG. Usually it is called RCF_CAND_EXT. The SAP delivery role (here the authorization role) this reference user gets is SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE (as long as you are using BSP). You have to copy this role to a customer one and replace the value 0002 of auth object P_RCF_APPL (Application in E-Recruiting) by your customer one 9000.
Then everything should work fine.

Identification of eRecruiting External Candidate "userids"

When an external candidate registers in eRecruiting, an SAP user is created. Does anyone know if there is a way to identify these users ? Ideally I would like to prefix the usercode with an underscore (or something) or be able to allocate a "user group for authorization check". My is reason is this.... we replicate our SAP users to our LDAP, which is then used by the portal and various security products for authorization, and do not want the external candidates to be potentially available for login !!
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

You can use configuration node Store Legal Periods to acheive this.
SAP E-Recruiting> Basic Settings> Store Legal Periods
I am not sure about the mailing part, but it does use workflow WS51900005, so you could copy and tweek it to suit your requirement if needed.

EREC: Differences between Delete Registration & Delete External Candidate

Hello Experts,
I am new to E-Recruitment. Can you please suggest me what are the exact differences between Delete Registration & Delete External Candidate as the first one locks his profile & the second one deletes his profile except that I don't see much difference between them. Please explain in which cases each of the tabs will be used & the relevance of them.

The main difference relates to how the data is handled in backend and whether all E-Recruiting objects are deleted immediately or mdeleted at a later time through the RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES process whereas for example the report RCF_DELETE_EXT_CAND checks the candidacies assigned to that candidate and for each of these objects which retention date is set to the requisition mapped.
The periodical serivce DELETE_DEREGISTERED_CANDIDATES can only delete deregistered candidates with no assignments. The deletion of assignments such as applications should be done within the deregistration workflow. There are some steps and methods available to withdraw and delete such relationships and unless there are open assignments the report would ignore the candidate.
One more thing to be aware of is that normally there is a delay maintained when a candidate is deregistered. So please check your settings in T77RCF_PS_RULES if the candidates you see have been deregistered within this time.In standard the delay is 180 days in which candidates are then deregistered. So if you deregister today, the system will deregister and delete all the candidate data only 180 days after today.
