Externe Secure Festplatte

Hallo,

  • Mexico Digital invoice - SSF without an External security product

    Hi All,
We are in the process of implementing Digital Invoice for Mexico. I have few queries regarding this.
    1. Can the digital signature be achieved with out any external security product ?
    2. If it is possible, then will it comply with the legal requirements for Mexico.
I came across a SAP document wherein it was mentioned that "If you are using the user signature as the signature method, you require an external security product that is connected to your SAP system through SSF." Does  it mean that SAP standard SAPSECULIB supports only system signature  and not user signature ?
Any pointers regarding the digital Signature implementation steps will be appreciated.

    Hi Sri,
Would you pls check the installation of the security toolkit on your application server?
Which security product do you use?
The standard security product is SAPSECULIB (library sapsecu.dll).
Please check the SSF initialization messages which are contained in each dev_w## developer trace (transaction ST11). When successful, the initializaion messages look like this:
    N  =================================================
    N  === SSF INITIALIZATION:
    N  ===...SSF Security Toolkit name SAPSECULIB .
    N  ===...SSF trace level is 0 .
    N  ===...SSF library is /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run/sapsecu.dll .
    N  ===...SSF hash algorithm is SHA1 .

  • Essbase External Security via Shared Services

I have hit a problem with essbase external security via shared services, might be fairly trivial, first time doing this.
In the install guide for essbase 9.3.1 it mentions not to use the user 'admin' when firing up essbase server console mode for the first time if you intend to externalise security to shared services in the future.
I have followed this recommendation and used a different username 'essadmin' for the first time essbase server is started up. While still in native security mode, I sign in via EAS 9.3.1 and create myself another admin account just in case.
I cold backup shared services SQL repository and OpenLDAP repositry before externalising essbase security. Also I backup the essbase sec and cfg files just in case.
Then I start it all up, go into EAS and select to externalise security, this takes a few seconds, and all seems well.
Now in shared services I can see the essadmin user ID and everything appears to be OK. However when I look under the projects node, I see "Analytic Servers:myhost:1", then below that another green icon "Analytic Servers:myhost:1", but when I click on the second green icon I get "Login fails due to invalid login credentials".
What have I done wrong ?

    Hi,
I don't think you've done anything wrong. You just need to provision your shared services user with access to Essbase. Right-click on your user, select provision and then give them the required Essbase rights.
    Hope that helps,
    Gee

After i input the credit card number and run it,it shows me an error ENVELOPE_FAILED, Error when encrypting payment card data: SSF error: Unknown error in external security prod. Can anyone tell me more about this problem.?

I think this cannot be executed in SE37.
Go to SE24 and paste this class->method - CMD_EI_API_CHECK, hit enter and go to method GET_ENCRYPT_CREDIT_CARD.
The above class-method should help you for your original requirement.

  • OBIEE 11.1.1.6 External Security Issue

I have setup MSAD in WebLogic successfully, however my issue is that no user can log in unless I assign their ID to BIAdministrator role. If I assign my ID to that role I can login. If I assign my ID to BIConsumer role it fails. I have the same setup on a VM and am also using MSAD and I can login with an external user without assigning them a role as I assume all users by default get the BIConsumer/Authenticated User role. Is there something I am missing here? I have already refreshed GUID's, but that did not change anything. I obviously assign every user to BIAdministrator role. The other difference between my VM and this other install is I have 7.9.6.3 apps installed where my VM is not using the Apps and did not know if they changed something from the security standpoint.

  • JAAS-authentication to external secure system within EJB?

I would like to write an EJB that accesses an external,
non-WebLogic system that uses JAAS security. It looks like using
plain vanilla JAAS client code would break some EJB programming rules.
I need to pass credentials to this external system
(private/public keys, etc.) that are on the filesystem.
I see WL has "Credential Mapping" but couldn't really see how
I'd use and implement this to authenticate to the external
    system.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    -Rolf Arands

one way, which I know that will work, is to run you JAAS code on some container. If authentication works, the code on you container forwards HTTP request to the WAS.
The WAS must have a Trust association interceptor (TAI), written for you purpose. You container forwards the HTTP request with the authenticated userid in the request. The TAI intercepts the requests and pulls the authenticated userid from the request and returns the userid to the WAS security manager.
I have created a small presentation that shows how security credentials is propagated to the WebLogic and WAS security managers. It can be found on my site.

  • How to GET data from external secure website?

We are trying to get data from a secure website. It is something like I try to get my bank statement online, where I have a user id and password to the secure website and try to get the data from XI.
Does anybody have any idea how we could do it? What adapter should be used.
I would really appreciate your help and award points.
    Thank,

    Hi,
Depends on how u are connecting to the website and getting the data.
But you can do this using HTTP/Java Proxies. You can use HTTP if you are connecting via a URL. thats the most standard procedure.

Are you getting any errors? What type of XAI Class are you using?
One thing I've noticed is that if you are making changes to the XAI Sender you will have to restart the environment before the changes can take effect.
Also, if you are using RTHTTPSNDR as XAI Class you may have to include the HTTP Method - Post in the context.
    Hope this helps.

  • Best way to secure Aironet 1200 for small office

We are getting ready to install 4 aironet 1200 AP's into an office that will only be used by 5 people with T43 Thinkpads (Intel 2200 built-in card).
What is the best method to secure the connection and prevent the outside world from accessing our internal network?
I don't feel WEP/WPA encryption is enough -- Would be interested in using the built in security that comes with the Aironet and not an external security server, yet.
Any info or push in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

You could pretty easily use the "local" RADIUS built-in to the AP firmware and implement LEAP or EAP-FAST.
Both are pretty easy to set up, the AP can handle that small load without any real performance issues, and the Intel client software supports it (you'll want to make sure all the client software and drivers are the most recent, there were some issues in the past).
Both LEAP and EAP-FASt will support seamless roaming, You'd set one of the APs up for WDS and the others to point to it.
Admin (add/change/delete users) via the Web GUI is also pretty straight forward.
    Good Luck

  • SSF configuration for external Smartcard Readers

    Hello colleagues,
I 'm working at a customer who is implementing a SAP project (R/3 4.6C SR2), in which is involved the goverment.
The goverment is forcing to the customer to implement digital signature in some steps of his business process, one of this steps is running on SAP R/3 system. The digital signature will be used with digital signature in order to "package" some critical data like "billing amount", for instance.
The goverment is imposing the smartcard encryption solution, that is hardware encryption.
I have been looking for information about it, so I understood the following:
1._ Some smartcards vendors are compliance with SAP.
2._ I need to install in the server running SAP the smartcard and the smartreader in order to manipulate and to access the encryption functionality.
3._  The smartcard is configured in SAP by transaction SSFA and other reports.
4._  The encryption functionality is accessed by SSF function group.
I downloaded the documents "SSF user guide", "security quick guide: digital signature" and "digital signature in FI".
I've found into a paper called "Digital Signatures
in SAP Applications - Web App.Server 6.40" the following:
1.3.1. SSF for the ABAP Stack
The SSF Library for the ABAP Stack is used in applications that are written in ABAP. It supports the functions for creating and verifying digital signatures (PKCS#7), and functions for encrypting and decrypting documents.
SSF requires an external security product to provide these functions. The SAP Security Library (SAPSECULIB) is delivered with the SAP system as the default product. However, the SAP Security Library only supports digital signatures without cryptographic hardware (SmartCards, SmartTokens, Cryptoboards). Instead of the SAPSECULIB, customers can also use the SAPCRYPTOLIB, which can be downloaded from the SAP Service Marketplace. The SAPSECULIB supports the DSA (Digital Signature Algorithm) algorithm, and the SAPCRYPTOLIB supports both the DSA and the RSA algorithms. The algorithm that you must use in your signature process depends on the CA that issues the certificate. Most CAs use the RSA algorithm. Note that country-specific export guidelines apply in the case of the SAPCRYPTOLIB. For more information, see SAP Note 397175.
For support for encrypting and decrypting documents, and for generating digital signatures using cryptographic hardware, an external security products from our partners is required. These security products use SAP’s SSF interface and are certified for this by SAP. For a list of the certified products, see the SAP Service Marketplace under http://service.sap.com/securitypartners, and then choose the link “Partner for Secure Store and Forward, digital signatures“ (SSF).
The SSF Library for the ABAP stack is available as of SAP Basis 4.0.
I don't undertand how is the relationship between SAPCRYPTOLIB and the SmartReader Card established/configured.
We think about the "Government of Chile" will deliver the customer a SmartCard Reader from Schlumberger (Cryptoflex 16K Card).
Should be great if you can provide me with any useful information in order to understand how to implement this configuration.
    Best regards, Carlos

    Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answer. I have more questions:
As I mentioned before, the Government office will provide a SmartCard reader to the customer: it's "Cryptoflex 16K card from Schlumberger". You can take a look to its features here:
    http://www.cryptoflex.com/Products/Cryptoflex_Features/cryptoflex_features.html#
There, you can see the following:
    Supported Applications and Platforms
    Integrates with PC/SC
    Integrates with PKSC#11   >>> (*)
    Entrust Ready
Plug & Play with Windows 2000 and Windows XP
    Axalto SDK
In the document about Digital Signatures "DigSig_Netweaver_BestPractices_en.doc", you can see the following:
    1.2.1 PKCS#7
PKCS#7 stands for Public-Key Cryptography Standard # 7. The PKCS standards are specifications that were developed by RSA Security for secure information exchange using the Internet. PKCS#7 is currently a format established in the market. It describes a wrapper format, meaning that the output format does not correspond to the input format. If, for example, a PKCS#7 signature is attached to a PDF document, the document is then in PKCS#7 format. This format is a binary format, which in turn means that direct display is not very good, and is not suitable for a user. A special tool (viewer) must therefore be used for display. Unfortunately, usable PKCS#7 viewers are not currently available on the market. This format is very suitable for purely automatic processing (without a display component for the user).
SAP offers the PKCS#7 signature on the ABAP platform (as of SAP Basis 4.0B) and on the Java platform (as of SAP Web AS 6.30).
    So here are my questions:
    1) From above, can you tell me if I'm wrong, or this SmartCard ("Cryptoflex 16K card from Schlumberger") is incompatible with SAP Digital Signature implementation (the Smartcard uses PKCS#11 -see (*) above- and SAP uses PKCS#7)?
    2) I didn't find to Schlumberger as a certified partner into the SAP link for Certified Partners for Digital Signatures:
    http://www50.sap.com/softwarepartnerdir/products/certify/prod_def.asp?DescID=259&ProdDesc=Digital%20Signatures%2C%20Encryption%20and%20SSF
Does it mean that this partner can't provide SSF compatibility?
    3) Can you provide me any kind of documentation in order to understand what are the whole configurations that need to be done from the "basis" side (if questions 1 and 2 are false) in order to configure this arquitecture?
    4) Can you explain a little bit how the SAPCRYPTOLIB is used in this context? I mean, should we need it in order to encrypt/decrypt digital signatures/envelopes?
    Best Regards, Carlos

  • SQL Developer Feature Request :: Tool Security for DBAs

TOAD has a feature that our DBAs like. It is called TOAD Security. In effect the tool looks at a table (on a per instance, per schema basis) to determine what menu options and features should be enabled/disabled. DBA's are provided with a GUI interface to manage the permissions, however once the table changes are noted, then the activity can be scripted for other schema/instances.
If it is not already in the plans, then it would be an excellent feature to add to SQL Developer. With something like this in place, we could defintely consider moving to SQL Developer as our tool of choice.

thats understandable. The expense of TOAD is small peanuts compared to the larger sums of monies being spent in IT, however, IMHO there is no sense spending it if a proper match can be found. I am just watching and waiting as the Oracle product continues to mature. Having the ability for tool to be controlled via an external security model, would be a plus.
To give an idea, DBA's basically took away abilities that were too easy to accidentally do but had bad results..
    * Drop an object.... they prefer us to physically write the statement... no oops click the button accidentally. This applies to a test environment as well as production.
    * Kill a Session..... again, test (not in production) we can kill a process thread, but they didn't want it to be so easy as a click of a button.
... I could go on... but you get the idea. At first they went overboard, and essentially turned our TOAD tool into an expensive Notepad clone. After working with them, the permissions were readjusted and we have been fine since then. The feature makes a good companion to the database level security for things that the Database Security setup does not cover.
