Extra column in SAPUI Table
Hello Friends
I have created an sap ui table (sap.ui.table.Table). and binded a local Json Model.
I am seeing an extra column (highlighed in red) in the below screen shot.
Can someone suggest, if this column can be eliminated? thanks for your replies

You can hide it by setting the table's selectionMode property to sap.ui.table.SelectionMode.None. Of course, that also means that rows can no longer be selected.

Importing extra columns in physical tables
hi gems...
am new in OBIEE(10.1.3.4.1)...till today i worked on the repository which is already been built by someone.
meanwhile the product has been upgraded and thats why there are lots of tables and lots of columns in existing tables have been added to the schema.
so now as per the requirement, i need to import some of the new tables and all the new columns in the existing tables in the repository.
New tables i can import from the option file-->import-->from database.
But how can i import the new columns in the existing tables?? is there any other way out than to do that manually one by one and then updating all the row counts??

go to u RPD--> menu--> file--> import metadata--> enter user ID,password of u r DSN then u
Just select the new columns/table then import it.
save it and then update all row counts.

On my page I have a table that is generated from a view object. The attributes from the VO are coming from a entity object.
table looks fine on my page. But now I need to add a extra column on the table and the value for that is coming from a other table then of the entity object.
How can I make tis?
Is it possible to have a entity object for more then 1 table?
Should I make a VO that is filled with a query instead of a entity object?
The VO is used on many pages, so can't change to much on that.

Newly added column in a table not displayed in a related form
I added a new column (DNAMECONT as varchar2) in a table I created a Form on. I added this new field in my Form as a text field, and on the customized tab of the form wizard, this following code is displayed as expected :

But I cannot view it once I run my form.

When you add new item in your form, the name you give to the item should exactly match the column name of your new column of the table. Now, you said you added a new column called DNAMECONT, but the
html shown in form wizard is <#DCONTRACTOR.LABEL#>, <#DCONTRACTOR.ITEM#>, two names do seem to match. Is that the problem?

pritamDrop column is available only after Oracle 8. The only thing I can think of is to re-create the table without the extra column
create table <newtablename > as
select col1, col2.... from <tablename>
But then you will have to recreate the constraints on the new table. ( only the not null constraint will be copied to it) -

Faical SAID Highwave CreationsThis occurred to me because I changed my POCO models to inherit from EntityData after I had already created my database without the extra Azure Mobile Service properties (UpdatedAt, CreatedAt, Deleted). The only way I fixed it was to drop the database and
start over with my classes inheriting from EntityData from the beginning. If you can't do that then I would create a new table with EntityData models and see how that database is created and manually update your tables to match those. Here's an image of one

I need to replicate data from SchemaA to SchemaB.
SchemaB has 3 extra columns. Two are varchar2 type and other is Integer type.
I need to replicate the data from SchemaA to SchemaB in the same database.
When ever i inserted the data in SchemaA, The extra columns should be populated with some default data.
And if we did any update on SchemaA then the extra columns on SchemaB should be populated with other Data.
I wrote some DML_HANDLER but it always populating same data.
I dont know ow to handle this type of situation.

if its a first insert then the default values are (N,N,1).

after I update the price in parts, I need to update COST and ORDER_COST too. The orders_view does not have pno, qty, and price, the odetails_view does not have price, how can I update the COST and ORDER_COST. Please help and Thanks in advance!!!

However, you could just as easily select the price * qty to get the cost, without creating an additional column or trigger. I have no idea what you might want to do with a global temporary table. Notice that you will need triggers on both tables, the one that has qty and the one that has price.

Requirement:
Data in a drop-down list on a child record needs to be filtered based on data from one or more columns in the currently selected row of the parent record.
Issue:
Drop-down lists have been successfully filtered using a couple of different methods, however, any time the data from the parent record is used to filter the data the columns in the child af:table begin to render multiple times. Navigating through the parent rows may cause the child records to have the correct number of columns displayed or multiple copies of the columns displayed.
Removing any reference to the parent view object and hard-coding values instead causes this behavior to disappear.
Each of the following methods has been tried. Each filters drop-down list data correctly and each causes apparently random extra column renders.
1. Cascading lists as per: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/tips/mills/cascading_lists.html
2. Drop-down list based on view object that takes parameters.
3. Set where clause for drop down list in a method on the app module.
4. Set where clause for drop-down list in a new selection listener method for the af:table.
Question:
Is there a solution available that will filter the drop-down lists correctly and prevent the extra columns from being rendered?

Hi, can any one give me an idea to find out the extra rows present in table by comparing 2 similar tables using pl/sql.
REQUIREMENT::i am working on the upgrade environment.my previous database has some tables and having data.Now functional folks are adding some new data to the existing tables for the upgrade database.I need to identify that new rows which are added by them.
for this , i created name table with 2 columns n,n1 which contains the table names.

a,b c........are the table names which are in the previous database environment.(approx >1500 tables)These tables having data.
ax,bx,cx..........table names which are in the upgrade environment contains the extra data which is added by the functional folks.
a&ax,b&bx.................(approx 1500 tables) are having same structure except some of them.
Now i want to write a pl/sql program that reads both table names a&ax from name table and then by comparing the rows of a&ax ,i need to find out the extra rows present in the ax table to store that in different place.
Example:

Using SAP Tokens & showing extra columns to choose
I have a Crystal Report where I have a SAP token parameter to select a budget scenario to run the report based on.
My token is selecting the 3 columns I need to display inorder to select the correct scenario - AbsID, Name & FinancYear.
Budget@Select AbsID, Name,FinancYear from OBGS order by 3
When I preview in SAP my drop down box only gives me AbsID and name - which is of course a list diplaying "Main Budget" repeated for the number of financial year I have in the database.
As these Main Budgets can (and have) been created in any order, it is impossible toexpect the users to select the correct budget from the displayed data.
As there is no direct join from OBGS to OFPR on financial year, I can't work out how to either display the additional column in the choose from list, or filter my selection statement so it will only give scenarios that relate to the financial year for the period I have selected

Remember that combo box controls in SAP can only display two values, a code and description, or in the case of report tokens the first two columns you specify in the token query. Seeing as you need the third column to distinguish between the first two sets of values a combo box is no use to you on it's own.
The following is off the top of my head and untested but what about either replacing the combo box with a CFL that shows as many columns as you need (and by nice coincidence the first column in that table is the value you want selected, AbsID), OR, created two report parameters the first displays the Financial Year and the second displays the AbsID and Name values for the selected FinYr?
Remember I'm writing this free hand so you'll need to test to make sure it's ok.
Replace Cbo with CFL
Budget@Select * From OBGS order by 3
This should display a CFL where you can add any extra columns needed from the form settings.
Two Cbo Parameters
FinYr@ SELECT F_RefDate FROM OFPR
Budget@Select AbsID, Name from OBGS WHERE FinancYear = ('FinYr@') order by 3
So you can reference one parameter name inside another to limit the results displayed by the second parameter.
One of the above or some variation should get you what you need.

How to unhide the column in Alv table

It is possible that the user you are loggin in with, might have a layout saved.
You can try logging in with different user and see if its still hidden.
The explicit code to hide and unhide a column :
lo_alv_column->set_visible( if_wdl_core=>visibility_none ).
may be you can use the above code and make column visibility true(cahnge parameter).

Show Data as percent of Column with static table

I have a problem calculating a % in a table. I have two columns in criteria tab:
Departments and measure
I need an extra column that calc % of total departments for each department. I know that I can do it with pivot table creating a new column and put: Show Data --> as Percent of --> Column but I need to do with static table.
Is possible to do it??

This should give you access to the grand total in the report as a column, from which you can derive % of.
