Extra customer group 6 in customer master possible or not

hi sd experts,
my client asking for additional wants additional field in customers master >extras>additional data > one extra additional customer data (S&D) - existing 5 groups already using.
img>sd>master data>business partners>customers>sales>maintain reserver fields in customer master - customer group 1 to customer group 5
pl let us know in standard sap ecc 5, the getting additional customer group 6 is possible or not.

Not possible in standard way as cust grp 1 to 5, but check below
Go to SPRO> SD > System modification > Create New Fields (Without Condition Technique) > Reserve Fields In The Customer Master Record
Sit with your abaper and do it.

    For your info :
    The <b>credit group</b> groups together different business transactions which should be dealt with in the same manner with regard to the credit check.
    You enter the credit groups when you configure the sales document types for credit management and define the automatic credit check.
    Default settings
    The following credit groups are contained in the standard SAP R/3 System:
    01 = credit group for sales order
    02 = credit group for delivery
    03 = credit group for goods issue
    Actions
    1. Check whether you can use the credit groups in the standard system.
    2. If you need to create new credit groups, enter an alphanumeric key with two characters and a descripion for the credit group.
    A <b>customer group</b> tells to which a customer can belongs to.
    You specify the customer group for sales data in the customer master record for each sales area.
    The SAP System copies this specification automatically into the sales documents at header and item level. Here, you will find the customer group on the detail screen for general business data.
    Actions
    1. Specify an alphanumeric key which can have up to 2 characters and a description for the customer groups.
    2. Make sure that the customer groups are entered in the customer master records.

    Q: Why does Group created on Master console does not show any device count mapped on the managed Amp?
    A: When a group is created on master console it will be pushed to all the managed amp which is added with Manage group configuration enabled. The Group pushed to the managed amp will be created as Global group and you can create subscriber groups for the global group to which you will add the device into since we cannot add any devices into global group directly.
    Hence there is no device added to the global group, on the master console it does not show any device count for the groups that are created on master console.

    This is an option given to you to choose (if you need to) the way you perceive this customer.Here you get options including ompetitors,Salespartner, prospect,
    default sp ,consumer.
    See it helps you to differentiate between prospect(which you may use for quotation or inquiry purpose)Sales partner and the competetor.

  • Customer group in FI Credit/Debit memos

    Hi,
    Is it possible to pull customer group on FI credit & debit memos.
    I have maintained customer group in customer master under sales area data. I have posted one credit memo using this customer but i didn't find customer group on FI document. How should i get this field value on credit/debit memo?

    Hi Deepu,
    You might be using different document types for debit memos and credit memos...In FBL5N through dynamic selection option you can choose the customer group and the document types for debit memo and credit memo....So that you can see all the transaction happended in a particular customer group.

    The price group field is used for different discount rates for the customers   There are 2 types of customers wholesale and retail. I am not sure of the usage of price groups in customer master to use for the discount for the customers

    Price group is a field Where you can group certain customers under one umbrella
    Suppose if you have 3 price groups say price group1 price group2  and price group3
    Say there are 10 customers A to J
    You are assigning customers A to D in price group 1
    You are assigning customers E to G in price group 2
    You are assigning customers H to J in price group 3 in their respective CMRs
    Price group can be added as filed in pricing condition table and you can maintain condition records for them
    In VK11 the table with price group 1 is maintained discount of 5 %
    In VK11 the table with price group 2 is maintained discount of 6 %
    In VK11 the table with price group 3 is maintained discount of 7 %
    So in sales order the customers A to D will get 5 % discount and customers E to G will get 6 % discount  and customers H to J will get 7 % discount

    Yes, you can maintain to the max of 5 cutomer group. You can freely define customer groups according to the needs of your organization. You assign a customer group to an individual customer in either the customer master record of the sold-to party or in the sales document. In SD Customizing, you can create a condition type that lets you create pricing records for customer groups. Additionally, when you want to generate sales statistics, you can use customer groups as one of the selection criteria.
    eg. Whole, retail, bulkbuyer,etc.
    So, this is common when we are doing pricing. easy to maintain the prices for the groups.

  • "Custom" grouping and / or colored lines in ALV

    Hi!
    Two questions:
    1. Is it possible to use colors in the ALV for a given set of rows? I'd like to mark rows with a color, which are logically belongs together.
    2. Other approach would be to sort the ALV and via that the "similar" rows (i.e. some column values in the rows have the same value ) would be grouped.
    The normal ALV grouping feature is too general. E.g if the ALV contains a lot of empty cells, then those cells will be grouped as well, nevertheless they are logically don't belong together -> looks quite weird.
    If the custom grouping cannot be realized, then my approach would be the following:
    1. Sorting the table. -> rows where the content partially equal are in succession.
    2. Manually clear the cells in the second (in my business case only two lines can be partially equal, others are unique) row, which are the same as in the previous row.
    3. Use coloring to indicate that these two lines are belonging together.

    Hi Peter,
    It is possible to assign colors to a specific row. But you need to have some work around.
    You have to create an extra attribute for each column that you have in your table. The type of that attribute should be of WDUI_TABLE_CELL_DESIGN.
    After Instatiating your ALV Component you have to use the following statement for the column that you have to apply the color.
    ls_column-r_column->set_cell_design_fieldname( COLUMN1_DESIGN ). Assuming ls_column-r_column will have COLUMN1 as filed name.
    There are 16 colors that are defined and each combination from '00' to '15' will define one color.
    Look at the structure below.  Its a table with 4 columns(2nd and 4th represents colors for first and third columns)
    value11          00            value12          00
    value21          00            value22          00
    value31          02            value32          02.
    If you consider the above struture as your output table 3 rows and 4 columns  then your third row will be highlighted in green color because 02 represents green. You can hide your second column and fourth column in above example because they represents colors. Use the following statement to hide those columns.
    ls_column-r_column->set_visible(
                     cl_wd_uielement=>e_visible-none ). "ls_column-r_column will have 'COLUMN1_DESIGN'

  • New field (Customer group 5) to be added to the Catalog for Pricing.

    Hello friends,
    For the creation of a new Condition table, I require the field, KNVV-KVGR5 i.e Customer group 5 field present in Sales area data ->Extras -> Additional data in Customer master to be added to the Catalog of allowed fields since this field does not exist anywhere.
    I have already gone thru the threads available on adding New field for Pricing which has an example/detailed explanation with the Item category (PSTYVV) field.
    But the field I want i.e KNVV-KVGR5, is a part of Master data, so please guide me with the steps to follow to add this field in the field catalog and hence use it for creation of a new condition table.
    1) Should i add this field in KOMP (i.e item) or KOMK ( i.e Header) or KOMG?
    2) Should i include it in KOMKAZ or KOMPAZ?
    3) Should i create this field as data element or structure and what should be the domain used?
    4) For the value flow, should i use the Item -level user-exits or Header level mentioned in other threads?
    Please guide for the same urgently.

    I was finally able to create a new field for Cust.grp.5 i.e ZZKVGR5 and added to Catalog to be used for Pricing.
    Then i faced a peculiar issue as below:
    For the business requirement, we defined a new tax condition table for determination of tax rates. For this, we are using both standard and custom fields to derive the correct tax rates in sales/billing documents like below
    A859: Country/Distr. Chl/Cust.grp.5/Material (Here Customer.grp 5 was added following the SAP Note: 531835)
    The field was inserted in the communication structure KOMKAZ which is included in both KOMK and KOMP.
    During the document processing, the pricing analysis view shows no value in the customer grp 5 field, though it is maintained for the customer used in the sales order. The code has been written in MV45 and RV60 both as guided in SAP Note: 531835. But the values are not flowing.
    Solved the above problem as below:
    M posting the answer to help the community for similar issue.
    Also, the new field tat i had added was Customer Grp 5 field of Customer master ->Extras->Additional field and I wanted the value to flow in the ZZKVGR5 field before the Pricing for the sales order was called.
    After trying all, we have finally fetched the value from KNVV-KVGR5 and got it moved to ZZKVGR5 field through ABAP coding.
    After this when i select/click on Pricing for a particular item, it gets picked up correctly and properly.

  • Data in Customer Group Field according to the sales area

    I have two sales area, i.e. 1000,10,10 (area1) and 1000,20,10. (area2) configured in the sap.
    i want that when user creates a customer for area1, then he get different data in list in "customer group field" in sales area in sales tab i.e. group1, group2. and while creating customer for area2 field, user get different data in list of the same field (now group3, group4).
    is that possible without ABAP??

    The field customer group flows from imgsd-master data-business partners-customers-sales-define customer groups
    Whatever you define here will flow as options in F4 while creating CMR
    But there is no restriction of limiting certain groups according to sales areas as reqd by you in standards
    It needs a development only

  • Listing of customer group 1

    As you know, in customer master there is also sales area data. When you go to EXTRAS -> ADDITIONAL DATA there is customer group 1. Is there any standard SAP transaction (listing) showing all customer which does have any data in that field of customer group 1 ?  Thanks!

    As far as I know there is no standard t.code available for this.
    However you can easily pull the data using t.code SE16 and table KNVV. In the selection screen, for the field customer group1 enter the value =, and execute, the system will list all the customers with no value assigned for customer group1.

  • Customer Groups Replication - Middleware

    Dear Experts,
    We are replicating master data from R/3 to CRM. Yesterday, R/3 team has defined  new customer groups in R/3 system, and here in CRM  as we do not have those groups, all the BPs in that new groups coming as error BDocs.
    The error says "Customer Group 4 HYD is not available, enter a valid customer group". How can I maintain these newly defined  R/3 customer groups in CRM system?
    Should I manually maintain those in CRM system or throgh any updation of objects like for ex:- DNL_CUST_TKUKL(for BP Classification)?

    "No initial load if data distribution is active, Use Synchro.Load" "Object will not be loaded"
    But, I tried thru R3AS4 also and it is saying "No Synchro load is Possible".

    I need to create a customer group.Navigated to  spro->crm->master data->Business partner->define attribute->define customer group,selected define customer group and see two customer group already exist.
    How do we associate BPs to these customer group.
    My objective is to have data(customer group) in sales tab when we select role for a BP as sold to party.

    The customer group is defined in the master data for the sold-to party. Indicates a certain group of customers, defined for pricing and statistical purposes (for example, wholesale or retail trade).
    You can define up to five different customer groups, depending on your company's particular requirements.
    For example, if your company is in India, then
    Customer Group 1 - This group can be maintained regional wise - Northern Region India, Southern Region India.
    Customer Group 2 - This group can be maintained place wise - Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai
    Customer Group 3 - This group can be maintained Turnover and Non Turnover discount sale wise - Non TOD, TOD
    Similarly depending upon the other characteristics like billing, bank, etc. the customers can be grouped and that can be maintained as Customer Group 1, 2, etc.
