Extract EAR file into java classes

Hi,
I have an EAR file and I want to extract it to get java classes, is there any way for it?
Thanks,
Uma Nath Tripathi

EAR, WAR, RAR, and EJB-JAR are just JAR files.
Use jar xvf filename to get the contents.

    Because, i am a java developper, i have choose Netbeans 6.1 to secure it.That has to be the most random thing I've read in some time.
    do you know how can i do to integrate my animation .swf inside my java class?Java can't play SWF files and Flash can't handle Java classes, so what you're suggesting here doesn't make a lot of sense.

  • How to convert a .class file into .java file without .jad using DeJDecompil

    Hi all,
    I am using DeJDecompiler and working with swing applications.If I try to convert a .class file into .java file,it is converting into .jad file only.Fine but if I try to save that file into .java file,It is giving lot of errors in that program.When I went into that program the total style of the program is changed and TRY-CATCH block is not recognised by the dejdecompiler,hence If I try to include some methods in the existing .java file thus got,I could not do.Kindly help me.
    If I get the .java file without error then I can process the rest of the functionality.

  • Again,HOW to conver a .class file into .java one?

    sorry , but Can't u send me a specific link for downloading this "Java decomplier"??
    coz I found my self in something called (jad decompiler) with lots of versions and this is confusing
    and Is that mean, that there's a decompiler which can convert the .class file into .java one?
    and thanks alot man.....u help me always!
    (I'm still begginner in java)

    Just to emphasise what yawmark said...
    Decompiled java code is NEVER going to be as clear as well-written original java source code. The decompiler can see what the compiled code does but not why or what it means, so the source code that the decompiler produces is going to be ugly and hard to read. Decompilers are really only useful for experienced programmers who know what to infer, how to read between the lines...
    If you need help writing something, then you're better off looking at tutorials. In tutorials the code will be well-commented.

    Before deploying the app, you could check database table PF_PORTLET_DEFINITION for any entries there which might conflict with yours.

    Hi,
    Check in the corresponding applcation.xml for entries
    like <multiplicity>one</multiplicity>, <multiplicity>many</multiplicity> and replace them with <multiplicity>One</multiplicity> ,
    <multiplicity>Many</multiplicity> respectively.

  • How to run ear file in java application server

    i want how to run .ear file in java application server

    3.i m created war file(in the form of jsp)
    but till now i couldnt run ear file
    how to run
    please hel me

    You must create :
    1.Jar file
    2.War file
    And then put them into an ear file
    Exemple : myapp.ear contains
    myappEJB.jar
    myappWEB.war
    META-INF/application.xml
    and application.xml looks like this :
    <application xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee" version="1.4"
        xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

  • How to extract jar files into  a folder in the local disk and then import?

    hai forum,
    will any one tell me how should i extract jar files into a location in my project folder and then how to import the class files for further usage?
    Thank you .

    I will be graeateful if u could explain this a bit.
    Do you want to say that i should craete instance of
    ZipEntry like this
    InputStream is =
    jarFile.getInputStream(entry);
    File inputFile = new
    File("C:\\myclasses.data");
    FileInputStream fis=
    new FileInputStream(inputFile);No! You need to write the entry using FileOutputStream copying all the bytes of the ZipEntry InputStream to the FileOutputStream.
    >
    What about adding into a directory?Do i have to
    create on dynamically?Yes! You can use File.mkdirs(). For example
                        File ofile = new File("your directory where you will place the zip entries" + zipEntry.getName());
                        ofile.getParentFile().mkdirs();

  • Wrap a file into one class

    Hello,
    I want to wrap a file into one classe, how can I do that?
    For example:
    class fileWrapper {
    one buffer for file content(what kind of buffer here?)
    Thanks a lot
    Grace

    The following is not a buffer but I hope it could be of some use.
    import java.io.*;
    public class FileWrapper {
        java.io.File file;
        FileWrapper(java.io.File f) throws java.io.IOException{
           this.file =f;
        FileWrapper(java.lang.String fname) throws java.io.IOException{
          this(new java.io.File(fname));
        // .. next is an example of a method ... You can define other useful methods
        public String readLines() throws java.io.IOException{//read all lines as a String object
           java.io.BufferedReader reader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(new FileInputStream(this.file),"UTF8"));
           StringBuffer buffer = new StringBuffer();
           String temp=null,newLine=System.getProperty("line.separator");
           while((temp=reader.readLine())!=null){
               buffer.append(temp).append(newLine);
           reader.close();
           return String.valueOf(buffer);
    /*public static void main(String[] args) throws java.lang.Exception{
      FileWrapper fw = new FileWrapper("test.txt");
      String str = fw.readLines();

    Raja,
    The following conversions are possible:
    PAR to EAR
    EPA to SDA
    EAR to SDA
    SDA to SCA
    Check with this SAP Help to make SDA file first and then
    SDA to SCA.
    [Creation of SDA and SCA Archives|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/a3/782240da03e569e10000000a155106/frameset.htm]
    Check out this SAP Note as well :
    Note 696084 - EP 6.0: How to create SDA files for EPA or PAR files
    You can use the Command Line tool if your environment is SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment (CE).

    Follow the way mentioned here.
