Extract messages from E50
Hi all,
Please help me. I want to extract messages from my E50 phone to store them on my computer. Does anyone know how to do that?

If you browse to message in the Nokia Phone Browser you can then drag the messages to a folder on you hard disk, etc.
This creates a .vmg file which can be viewed with notepad etc.

Are you trying to use a confirmation window with a standard "Ok" and "Cancel" button. Then you can do something like this:

When you backup messages in iCloud, your SMS will be stored in Network. As i know, you cannot view the SMS. But you can try to sync to your iPhone or backup in iTunes. After that, you can extract your messages from iTunes with iPhone backup Extractor apps.

Help...It sounds to me like your Internal Hard Drive is failing.
I recommend you buy a new one, that is a good candidate for replacing the old one, but install it in an External enclosure and Install a fresh Mac OS X on it from the DVD. You can boot your Mac from any attached drive.
The new System can be used to get some work done, check your emails, and takes the pressure off resolving this immediately. You can also attempt to salvage files off the old drive if needed.
Once things seem to be working, then move the new drive inside the computer. Failures at this point may be due to bad cable, which has been a problem in some of these MacBooks.
Use security erase, write Zeroes, one pass, to re-write every block on the old drive. Any block discovered to be bad will be replaced with spares the drive holds in reserve for this purpose. If more than 10 blocks are pared on one pass, "Initialization Failed!" will be the result. Although you can try the erase again, there is some question whether you want to trust this drive with your precious data. -

Error when extracting data from ETL - Missing messages and missing InfoIdoc
Hi All,
We are using BW 3.0 and extracting data from other source systems through Informatica Powercenter (ETL). The system is working fine but when we try to extract data on 31st Dec , we get the following error. Only this load gives the error and all the other load to other data targets are going fine. All the data are one-to-one mapped from ETL to BW.
Error messages from Monitor -Status tab:-
"InfoIdocs missing; external system
Diagnosis :- InfoIDocs are missing. The IDocs are created in BW with non-SAP systems as source
systems that transfer the data and metadata to BW using BAPIs. Since the IDocs are missing, a
short dump in BW probably occurred.
System response: No selection information arrived from the source system"
Error messages from Monitor -Details tab:-
Missing message: Number of sent records, Missing message: Selection completed

Thank you very much for your reply. The source system connections are OK and we are able to load data to other Data targets from ETL, we have issue only with this this particular load. The load extracts data and I have loaded the data from ETL to PSA and have checked the data content and it is correct. But when I update the same data to the target I get this error. I have also tried to update from PSA to target and also directly from ETL to target.
Appretiate your suggestions. -
Extract Most Recent Message from a Forwarded One
Hi,
I am using JavaMail API to mainly extract mails from a mail server and store them on the hard drive. I have been able to successfully save text, attachments and embedded images. The problem I am facing is that if a message is forwarded (assuming no changes were made while forwarding the message) then I am unable to extract just the added message part in it. I do not want to save the complete thread as that would result in duplication of messages. Also, if a message contains an image and the message is forwarded without any new image, while retrieving the email content/image the image gets saved twice.
Using JavaMail API, is there any way I can identify the most recent thread (message body part) and just save that? This would also help in avoiding saving the image twice.
Just a reminder, I am not using JavaMail to send mails but only to retrieve them from a mail server.

You've read the JavaMail FAQ on forwarding messages, right?
If a message is forwarded as an attachment, it should be easy to save just the attached
message. If that's what you're doing and it's not working, I need more details.
If a message is forwarded "inline", there's no guaranteed way to separate the original
message from the text that was added by the person who forwarded the message.
If that's your situation, your stuck with heuristics, which you'll have to invent yourself
to satisfy your needs.
I don't understand what you mean by "most recent thread" but I suspect the answer is no. -
Tried to install OS X Yosemite on my MacBook. Got message that it could not be installed on my computer due to error while extracting files from package "Essentials.pkg". When i quit the installer as recommended it goes in a loop and gets stuck.

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the installer file isn't working. Have you tried deleting the installer and redownloading the installer? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.

Extract text messages from my Iphone 5
Is there a way to extract text messages from my Iphone 5 so I can save them and print them if necessary?
You can capture a screen shot of the text message on your iPhone. Simply view it, and briefly hold the on/off and home buttons together until you hear a shutter clicking sound.
The photo will appear in Camera Roll, and you can then save it as you would a photo. -
AppleScript to extract attachments from messages?
Hello,
Every day my ISP's web server emails me a log file with the previous day's http logs.
I have several years worth of these messages and they're taking up a lot of space. I'd like to extract all these log files from the messages into a folder so I can delete the messages from Mail.
I've looked through the Mail dictionary in Script Editor but I haven't seen anything that suggests this might be possible using AppleScript. I really don't want to manually save attachments from over 1000 messages!
I've also used Google to look for a solution but haven't found anything good yet.
If you know how this can be done and can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

JimI don't have a file to test with mdls but I usually use ExifTool for metadata work. Here is a script I wrote a while ago that will display all of the metadata contained in the file.

Unable to extract data from R/3 into BW 3.5
I have just started learning BW. I am currently trying to upload data from R/3 into BW. I have tried uploading data into InfoCube , ODS, InfoObjects from R/3 and in all cases I am getting error messages. Please shed some light as the what am doing wrong......below are the steps that I have done
For loading transaction data from R/3 in ODS
1. Created view from VBAP and VBAK tables in R/3
2. Created Transaction type DataSource in R/3 using RSO2 transaction
3. Replicated above DataSource in BW under Source Systems. using 'Replicate DataSource'
4. Created ODS object along the same lines as the above created view in R/3
5.Created InfoSource and assigned the replicated DataSource
6. Activated the Transfer Rules, Transfer Structure, Communivcation Structure
7. Created Update Rules for ODS and activated them
8. Created InfoPackage and started the Data Request
The error message that I see in Monitor is as below
Requests (messages): Everything OK
Data request arranged
Confirmed with: OK
Extraction (messages): Missing messages
Missing message: Request received
Missing message: Number of sent records
Missing message: Selection completed
Transfer (IDocs and TRFC): Errors occurred
Request IDoc : IDoc with errors added
Processing (data packet): No data
I am getting the same error message when I try InfoCube instead of ODS.
Please let me know what is wrong

This is the brand new BI 7.3 system. Implementing the PSCD and TRM.
I have used the standard business content objects in FI-CA (dunning history header, item,activities) and standard Datasource (0FC_DUN_HEADER ,0FC_DUN_ITEMS, 0FC_DUN_ACTIVITIES). I have extracted data till the DSO level . when I try to pull the data to info provider level(cube) using DTP . I am getting fallowing error.
my observation: when ever I use the DSO as source to any target like another DSO or cube. its throwing same kind of error for any flow including simple Flat file .
please suggest any one whether do I need to maintain basic settings since its a brand new BI 7.3.

I cannot update IPhoto or IMovie- Error message from App Store

I cannot update IPhoto or IMovie. I have the latest OS. I cannot use these Apps either- they both ask me to update to the newest version, but when I try to I get an error message saying that the App store could not complete my request and to please try again later (null). Any ideas??Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

How to extract data from a remote system
Hi,
I want to extract data from another system and map it with a target table in my local machine. what is the procedure to do that?
I tried to create another module specifying location of that remote system I could extract the table but when I am mapping with the target table I am getting this error
