Extracting Effect information such as Inner Glow

Id like to know how i can extract the parameters for effects, such as inner glow, so that i can export them to my own file format. Can anyone help me? Is it not possible?

For Muse 2.0 we switched to using CSS properties to achieve inner glows whenever possible, rather than generating an image at preview/export/publish time. Using CSS properties whenever possible, significantly improves page load times.
The CSS inner glow has subtle differences from our previous behavior. We attempted to compensate for this though all the various use cases but missed this particular case.
Two workarounds are:
1) Set object opacity rather than fill opacity.
2) Set the opacity of the inner glow effect rather than fill opacity.
(The source of the difference between Muse 1.1 and Muse 2.0 is the combination of inner glow and a fill opacity other than 100%.)

How can I save transparency/inner glow effects when exporting to jpg?

I'm very new to InDesign. I increased the noise levels in inner glow in 'Effects' to create a textured look to my document (I wanted a paper texture and found this method on Google) but when I exported to pdf or jpg, I realized that my transparency effects completely disappeared. I checked my export settings and the flattening tool has been set to default.
Can someone help me understand what I should do to export that textured effect please?

Export to JPG has never been all that great and stopped trying it a long
time ago. Export to PDF and open that in Photoshop.

Keep Photoshop live effect (inner glow) with transparent background

I currently have a circle with a background color and a photoshop live effect of an inner shadow. I'm trying to set the background to transparent, but when I do so, the inner glow becomes invisible. Can someone please offer some tips on how to keep the inner glow with the background being transparent? The only thing I could figure out was lowering the opacity, but then the true color of the background doesn't come through.

You could create the effect you want in the following way_
Drag out an ellipse with the vector ellipse tool on Fireworks. Fill it with the color you want the inner glow to be. Change the fill from solid to a radial gradient. Open the gradient editor and make sure that both colors of the gradient are the same. The color chip on the left side of the gradient ramp is the one that controls color in the center of the ellipse. The black chip above it controls opacity. Click on the black chip and change the opacity to 0. Adjust the position of the fill handle and the chips on the ramp to get the effect that you want.

PSE 8 (Mac) Inner glow color change?

Hello, new here!
I made a rounded shape on a layer, gave it a pale blue color.
In the effects palette I gave it a Simple Inner Glow.
Now I wish to to give a larger size to the effect and change the standard given color (pale yellow) to a black.
To do so, I select the layer (rounded shape) , I double-click on the "fx" symbol on that layer and this opens up the style setting.
Now I increase the size button and all works well, the size increases to my taste.
Now, I wish to change the (pale yellow) color to a black.
I click on it (the little yellow square) and the "Select inner glow color palette" opens up
and I select a black color, press OK and WHAT HAPPENS?
The Inne Glow effect completely disappears...$#&?%$*&#
I tried different colors and I end up with the same result...
Can someone please help me? Pretty please.

Illustrator CC: trouble adding gradient inner glow for states on a vector map

I'm trying to figure out how to make gradient borders for countries on a vector map in Illustrator. I'm aiming for something like this: but with the gradient borders being more pronounced, a stronger gradient for borders. Can this be done in Illustrator and what would be the correct effect to use?
I tried using the Stylize Inner Glow effect but the problem is that I get this result:

Check your Document Raster Effects and probably set to 300 ppi. Easiest way is to use Object>Path>Offset path with a negative number. Then Object>Expand and set the fill for the lightest version of the color. Then make a blend between the two versions of the path.

Sales order does not extract plant information from material master data

Hi experts,
I have created a sales order. However, the plant in the shipping tab can only be manually entered.
I have made the check:
the customer material master data does not have the plant info.
the customer master data does not have it either.
It is defined in the material master data: sales:general/plant
But the sales order did not extract this information. Why does this happen?

As right stated by you,
The Plant will be copied from the master data to the sales order, if not it should be manually entered
The Sequence System will search for the Plant is as follow..
1. Customer material infor record, If it was not maintained then it will search in
2. Customer master, if the entre was not maintained in the SHIPPING TAB
3. Finally it will search in the Material master in the Sales organisation data 1 in the field DELVERING PLANT field.
So please search whether the entry was maintained in that field at the sales:sales organisation data 1.
This might be the issue.

I am having problems with closing OpenCV's GUI window when called from LabVIEW in Linux. A solution to this may be to not use OpenCV's GUI window in LabVIEW for Linux, but rather pass back the pointer to the processed image in LabVIEW. From that pointer, we can send it to a C wrapper to extract some information that we want from the struct in order and pass back those values to LabVIEW. Then LabVIEW will process those values and display the image. What will I need to extract from the pointer (via a C wrapper) in order to display the image onto LabVIEW?
I attached a LabVIEW example that I found. This example loads and displays an image. I am thinking of doing something similar to that. Instead of loading an image from the file dialog, I will pass all of the necessary information to Draw Flattened Pixmap.

My description of my problems with interfacing OpenCV with LabVIEW is contained in this discussion
Basically, the code works in C in Linux, C in Windows, LabVIEW for Windows, but not in LabVIEW for Linux.
We finally were able to get OpenCV to interface with LabVIEW for Linux by doing some complex edition to make install. However, LabVIEW was still having trouble with the function to close all HighGUI windows. Even though it went through the function, it will not close the HighGUI window. Also the HighGUI window freezes and when it eventually closes, it crashes LabVIEW.
When I test it by writing C programs, the function does what it is supposed to do.

How to use NI CAN feature for extracting DBC information without a CAN Interface?

I'm looking for some tricks in order to extract DBC Information using the NI CAN without a CAN interface...
Basically I have some DBC files and I would to analyze them to get hierarchy Messages and Channels (and their related information, offset, scale, etc.).

The function CAN Get Names is usefull and allow me depending on the mode to get a list of the Channels and Messages described in the DBC file. However, I'm encountering one major issue and none of the least, I cannot use the function the CAN Get Property... As it required a connector based on Task that I cannot provide since I dont have any real and physical CAN interface, for now. Therefore I cannot have any information about the channels neither about the messages...
Does anybody can give me a hand to fix that matter?

Your code isn't that bad, relativly easy to follow. In any case the problem had nothing to do with the CAN port being used. If you would probe the error wires around you would see that coming out of the CAN Init Start stated that the channel name didn't exist. Looking at how you had it wired you took the messages (or frames) and put them into the channels terminal, when I assume you wanted the channels. Then looking at your tree you were again trying to get the ID of a channel, but giving it the message name. I also added reading the Start Bit, Number of Bits, and Byte Order for all the channels read.
If you were to do this with XNET there would be completelly different functions, but the same operations can be done.

How can i have a stroke on a photo with a solid white, 100 percent choked inner glow. the inner glow covers the stroke.

i am trying in vain to accomplish the following: outer rule with a white border inside of it and then the photo. my solution to the inner white border is to choke an inner glow so that it has a crisp edge. i can set easily to the dimension that i want but it hides the stroke on the picture box. anyone have a solution?

I'd make a custom stroke of type stripe and set the gap color to [Paper], myself. You can adjust the ratio of solid line to white line by varying the width of the solid portion in the stripe.
In the case of the illustration below, the solid and gap portions are each 50% of the total stroke width, so if you set the stroke to 10pt, you'd get a 5pt solid line with a 5pt gap. Both stroke and gap can be set to any color you want once the stroke style is saved.

Hi Ersin,
Exception 1 would seem to be FORMATTING_ERROR, which suggests something in the design of the Smartform. However, that doesn't fit with the form being generated from a report, but only erroring when called from a function module. I can think of no reason why the different calling method would be a factor.
When FORMATTING_ERROR is raise it should also set a message ID and number, are you able to determine what they are?
