Hi all,
I am extracting data from MM domian , can u please help me to find out which extractor pulls folling fields from ECC to BW .
Vendor group,Contract number,Number of Material Groups,Product number,Invoice number,Invoice due date,Invoice amount net,Invoice amount gross,Invoice enter date,Invoice pay date,Credit note,Invoice line number,Invoice Line amount net,Invoice Line amount gross,Invoice quan,Payment Terms,Payment method

Hi Prafful,
You can get some fields from 2lis_02_itm, 2lis_02_scl and 2lis_02_hdr.
Also, there is a table in ECC where you can find the invoices number assigned to purchase orders, I don't remember the name, ask a FI analyst for the table or the transaction where to see that so you can get the table name.

Enhance extractor 0VENDOR_ATTR with field LFA1-LFURL?

Hello,
is it possible to include the field LFA1-LFURL (Uniform resource locator) in the standard extractors for vendor master data? In RSA5, where you can change 0VENDOR_ATTR, field LFURL is not in the list.
If it is not possible, is there a simple way to do so, or do I need to build a new custom extractor for that field?

The enhancement Diego was speaking about is RSAP0001. Actions to be performed in order to enhance the required extractor are:
1. enhance extract structure;
2. implement extraction logic for the required extractor using enhancement RSAP0001 so that fields with which you enhanced the extract structure could be populated with data.
Since you are enhancing extractor for attributes, the function module to be used in this enhancement is EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002.

in datasource properties field in the R/3; what is the difference between the fields 'hide' vs 'field only'.

You should set this indicator to exclude an extract structure field from the data transfer. As a result of your action, the field is no longer made available in BW when setting the transfer rules and generating the transfer structure.
if u dont want to see this this ..u set this field u cant see in the BW which is available in extrac structure
Field only known in exit
You can enhance data by extending the extract structure for a DataSource using fields in append structures.
The indicator Field only known in Exit is set for fields of an append structure. In other words, by default these fields are not passed onto the extractor from the field list and selection table.
Deselect the indicator Field Only Known in Exit to enable the Service API to pass on the append structure field to the extractor together with the fields of the delivered extract structures in the field list as well as in the selection table.

Creating View for an extractor with reference field

Hi All,
         Here is my requirement.
I need to create a DB view for an extractor. I need to join 3 tables : AUFK,AFIK & AFKO.
Table Join Conditions:
AUFK     MANDT     =     AFIH     MANDT
AUFK     MANDT     =     AFKO     MANDT
AUFK     AUFNR     =     AFIH     AUFNR
AUFK     AUFNR     =     AFKO     AUFNR
This AUFK table has a Z field ZZACCOMPLISH(QUAN field) and it it referning to MARA-MEINS.
I created view successfully with all fileds including ZZACCOMPLISH.
But when i give the view name in RSO2, i am getting an error message that 'ZZACCOMPLISH' is refering to some other table.
In this case i don't know how to include MEINS in ths view and There is no link between table AUFK and MARA.
Please guide me on this.

How to find extractor of a field in CRM

Hi Everyone,
I need your help with this one.
In a CRM screen I see the fields and with F1 help I can see it is being stored in a table through a structure. How do I find which extractor the field is being extracted into BW.
This one is a custom development related with CRM activities but I am not able to find out which extractor is extracting this field and where in BW is it being stored.
The developers named of fields differently in CRM and BW. Ofcourse this doesnt matter unless they mapped right.
But how do I find where they are being mapped. It must be in BADI, but is there a way to find where this field is being called for extraction in BADI.

in BWSE16-- table name 'ROOSOURCE'..then for APPLNM put 0CRM and execute...
This will display all CRM datasources in BW. Note down all datasource technical names.
Again in BW-- SE16 -- table name RSOSFIELDMAP
For OLTPSOURCE -- enter one datasource technical name
For FIELDNM -- enter field name u want to find out

COPA account based extractor (Bill type field FKART) missing

Hello Experts,
I am new to COPA and currently working on account based COPA DataSource on ECC 6.0 & BI 7.0.
I have created the DataSource in KEB0 for account based by selecting the appropriate operating concern. One of the field requirements for me is to have billing doc type but it is not available in KEB0 or in RSA6.
When checked in KEA0 billing type (FKART) is available as display fixed fields.
Main menu -> extras -> display fixed fields.
Could you please let me know how to get this part of my DataSource?
Does enhancing the DataSource is only the solution?

If your current scenario does not present you with the standard extractor from the source system, perhaps you should try to create a generic datasource for your business requirements.

2LIS_04_P_COMP Extractor and BWART field.

I have added BWART field to the 2LIS_04_P_COMP extract structure.I have added BWART field from MCCOMP structure bcoz MCCOMP is already used by the 2LIS_04_P_COMP for other fields.I did this using RSA6 and appended the extract structure.
But when I go to RSA3 and trying to validate the data for this field BWART from the table AUFM.It is not showing for all the orders correctly as it is in AUFM.
Is this the right way what i did or is there any further requirement.
My only question is that the data should be validating/same whether the field is picked from the structure MCCOMP or from the AUFM table.

Dear Kumar,
By just enhancing the DS will not solve your purpose, and it won't fetch the data the way you want. The one and only way of getting data into BWART is to
write a code to go into the table AUFM with the key fields available in your DS
and try to find the BWART for the corresponding prod. order / any other doc.
Then only it would get you the right data..

Problem in using Currency Field in EXTRACTOR

hello,
I have a requirement to create Extractor involving some fields from a Ztable.
While creating extractor (data source) in RSO2 transaction, when i enter the Z table name in "Extraction from DB view - View/Table" and click on SAVE, i get an error msg " Invalid extract structure template ZTABLE of DataSource Zextractor".
But if i remove the only currency field in the ztable and then try using the ztable for extractor, its working fine. I dunno why? but i need the currency field in the extractor. Kindly let me know how to deal with this issue. Sure points for useful answers.

for currency fields and decimal fields u should provide reference for them. give currency field in fields section -> click on refernce -> give
currency field name table name refernce key name table name -> save n activate.

Questions on adding z fields to the standard extractor, Please reply !!!

We have 0material, 0customer in our daily process chains where we do full loads daily, now we need to make that delta loads so that we can reduce the time of the execution of the pc. I know that these extractors can be delta enables but the problem is we have a few z fields for these extractors, like 20 fields for 0material and 3 fields for 0customer and currently we are doing full loads for these 2 infobjects. I want to know if these can be delta enabled so that zfields will be delta enabled. I mean in short if we make these delta enabled, will the z fields will come along with the standard fields since we are adding the z fields to the standard tables. Do we need to handle the code separately or is their any complicated code written along with it in the CMOD or just adding the zfields will bring the delta to BI. Please provide some links or any information on this regard. Please let me know if you need any other information. Thanks in advance.

Deltas would be extracted based on some specific fields such as timestamp, dates or some kind of numeric pointer.
In your case, lets say if you have some date field for eg. Changed on in your table on which delta would be picked up then that delta should also fetch up changes related with address.
If this address field is directly present into your main talbe then changes would be directly picked up without any need of logic because table containing changed on date <your delta relevant field> also contains this address field.
But if this address is coming up from some other table then some sort of logic should be written to populate the changes in address field with respect to that "changed on" date field.

Hi expert,
I need to view data from table ESSR, field SBNAMAN.
I found Just the extractor 2LIS_02_ITM with some field from table ESSR but these field are not the field SBNAMAN.
Two questions.
Do you know any extractor with this field? I can't found any.
Can I add this field (SBNAMAN) to extractr 2LIS_02_ITM ? how?

Hello Mauricio,
So far there's no standard extractor with this field.
While you can append MC02M_0ITM with SBNAMAN and populate it in cutomer exit, I do not recommend this, since the field won't be delta enabled.
I suggest you create customer extractor on ESSR table with AEDAT field for generic delta.

coding doesnt give any error

PKUNRE field not getting populated in 2LIS_13_VDITM after ECC upgrade

Hi,
We are seeing blank values for PKUNRE / 0BILLTOPARTY during extraction from 2LIS_13_VDITM.
We are experiencing this issue after ECC upgrade which went live recently.
We have applied note 580694 to correct missing fields in the billing extractor.
This field is sourced from VBPA/VBRP.
Our functional teams confirmed that VBPA/VBRP are updated properly and there seems to be no timing issue.
However, the record is landing in PSA with blank BILLTOPARTY.
Where could the problem be?
Is there any thing we missed?
Can any one throw some light if you have experienced this kind of an issue after upgrade.

In my system I didn't find the Field PKUNRE on the VBPA / VBRP Tables, so my guess is that you're dealing with a Custom Enhancement, if this is the case the SAP Note 576886 - "Change to user-defined fields not extracted" might help you in solving this issue.

I double checked and found the Field PKUNRE on the Extract Structure for 2LIS_13_VDITM (using Transaction Code LBWE) so now I know that you're working with a Standard field and not with a custom ehnancement, the SAP Notes below address a similar issue to yours but they are related to Applications 11 and 12, not for App 13. I apologize for the confusion.

BC 2LIS_02_ITM extractor

I am having a requirement where i am getting the fields from R/3 system ie MM application to BW.
Here while extracting the data logic has been defined by the MM consultant.
Most of the fields which r used in the BW reports are coming from 2LIS_02_ITM DS which is enhanced already. and some of the fields are missing
i am planning to create the Generic DS for the Remaaining fields.
I want to know that if i use the Business content extractor ie ITM for the fields do i need to check the logic define by the MM guy or i go ahead n make use of the BC extractor straight away.
For the remaining fields i am planning to create the Gen DS with Function Module as the join condition is not satisfying between EBAN, EKKO, LFA1.
Thru some light on this

You can use it straight away coz SAP uses the same logic.
I can suggest you to use the standard one and enhance the standard extractor with new fields if they are not many fields.

0FI_AR_4 Extractor Enhancement without user exit code Question

I have a requirement to enhance 0FI_AR_4 Extractor with below Fields from BSID:
Field     DataElement
PRCTR       PRCTR
VPOS2       NUM06
VBUND       RASSC
As per SAP Note: 410799, I am assuming I don't need to write any ABAP code to populate these fields.
In the extract structure DTFIAR_3 of extractor 0FI_AR_4 Double clicked on the Include CI_BSID.
It prompted "Structure CI_BSID not available. Create the structure?"
After entering Access key it created new Structure "CI_BSID".
I have entered the Component and Component Type values as below:
Component   Component Type
YYPRCTR     PRCTR
YYVPOS2     NUM06
YYVBUND     RASSC
1. Please let me know Component and Component Type values and the steps I followed are correct or not?
2. And I hope I don't need to write the code in the User exit to populate these fields?

Hi,
For any FI datasource enhancement there are two scenarios :-
1. All the fields of the customer enhancement in the customer include are available in the read structure BSID
Then no additional action is required. The fields of the customer enhancement are filled automatically by the datasource from the assigned read structure via "move-corresponding".
2. Fields of the customer enhancement in the customer include are not contained in the read structure BSID
In this case you have to program a function module to fill the field of the customer enhancement. To do this, there is a Business Transaction Event available (open FI interface for process 00005021). Create any function module you like and use function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00005021 as a template for the interface (input parameter, changing parameter).
