F.01 showing Difference

Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem in f.01 Trail balance.
In F.01, there is one GL Account xxxxx is showing 10000/- Debit amount which is not having any balance in FBL3N for same GL Account. I ran the program SAPF011 GL carry forward balance. Now the GL not have any balance in F.01 but the same 10,000 is showing as a difference.now in F.01.
kindly suggest me any solution.

Hi,
From your description, i assume that the GL account you are referring is an expense account. The balance that you see in F.01 is for the previous year. When you ran carry forward balances, the entry got transferred to the retained earnings account in F.01 and hence showing a differenc of the same amount.
If I am wrong in my assumption, please let me know the nature of the entry and in which part (Profit and loss or balnce sheet) was it getting displayed and where are you seeing the difference now.

Hi,
Business Area could had not updated in the line item of an accounting entries hence your trial balance is not matching.
Refer the SDN or contact SAP if the things are happening like what I have intimated.
Are you in ECC 6.0 or SAP 4.7 ?
in ECC 6.0 there is a concept of Document Splitting which gives you online splitting in an accounting entry.
If you are in SAP 4.7 or earlier version there is a process of "Balance Sheet Readjustment" which work on the similar ground of document splitting. But for that you need to do some customisation before you start doing posting.

same in profit center accounting number ranges groups one client showing but another client not showing same group. T.Code: GB02.
why like that showing difference groups.

In payroll log leave salary(493.600+211.520) is showing correct, but payment is showing 1785.546 in /559 and /560

Query to "Show Differences"

Hi,
I am wanting to set up an alert for certain users when a particular field in a document is changed. I can track when a change is made through ADOC but I'm not quite sure how to track what field has changed and show the old and new values, like the 'Show Differences' button in the Change Log does.
Does anyone have a query or any suggestions that will help me get this data?

Want to Find Table name of Show Differences Values from Change Log of Bills of Material

Dear Experts,
I Add and edit the data of Bills of Material Form in SAP B1.
I know that with using change log i can find out the history
to change that particular record.
I also know that It Use AITT and ATT1 for History Data to be saved.
but when i click on Show Differences button then it will display details history
but i can't find out that table that data are display in Show Difference.
I hope you all are understand my requirement.

There is no separate table for the History, it is a query driven report shown in the show in the change log.
if you need to understand the change u need to check with the history tables....

I need to make the following code show how many years it took for it to reach its required goal.

I am totally confused at the moment... any help would be greatly appreciated...

Create navigation iviews to show differents documents from the same folder

Does any body knows how can i create navigations iviews that show differents documents from the same folder? This is my situation i have a folder that include documents for diferents countries, i want create a navigation iview that show only the documents for Canada from this folder.

The only other option is to give user access using taxonomy. But it seems like a lot of extra work to keep documents in the same directory. anyway, here is the overview of steps:
1. create index (SA > System Configuration > Knowledge Mgmnt > Index Administration)
2. create categories within the taxonomy.
3. define Query on each category. (Content Management > Classification > Taxonomy Query Builder)
4. create property: property namespace, property group. (SA > System Configuration > Knowledge Mgmnt > Content Mgmnt > Global Services > Property Metadata)
5. <b>assign props to the docs.</b>
6. Schedule the crawler to create classification index.
7. classify docs so that docs actually go recide in the categories
<b>8. Create role, page and KM Navigation iViews for end user to browse the taxonomy instead of going directly to the repository.</b>
9. restrict permissions on the taxonomy for different user groups.

Open sales order vaue showing difference at va05 and S066

HI,
what is the difference between open sales order net value(va05 only selected open sales orders check box) and open orders credit(Table S066).
Customer is asking this question?
Here when i was checked at VA05 level for particular one customer EX 15456 and executed only open sales orders and it's showing the net value is total = 45,45254 and i checked the table S066 FOR open orders credit it's showing is = 0.
These two(va05 and S066) are executed between these two dates 3-1-2012 to 16-2-2012.
Please help me any one why it's showing differece.

1. Is credit management active in your system?
2. If yes, is it assigned to the relevant sales order type that your are checking the value in VA05?
3. Go to SE38 and enter program CHECK_CM, execute for a particular sales order and check the reason for credit update not happening.

I have an unusal scenario, using T Code S_ALR_87013558, in this report the actual amount which is shown infront is different from the amount showing inside i.e if I see the detail transaction wise amount, apart from AA document type.
I have find the difference is due to the reason of transaction that is happing in foreign currency ( Transcation Currency) is display in frront total, but the posting that is made in CO Code currency thats is in my case INR is not taking upfront total amount.
Further this is only happening in case of one WBS element of the whole project.

I am facing a problem in a BEx Query. I have to show the difference between the sales of two years. Let me be more specific..
I only have one keyfigure sales and only one characteristic year and I need the column difference.
year      sales      difference
2009      5000      -
2010      8000      3000
2011      9000      1000
Please can anybody explain me how to get this.

Hi Peter
There are various ways of getting the result you are going for.
1. If you are 100% locked to the way the data has to be shown - you can use CELLS.
a. start of making a strukture on year getting the years you need (in rows)
b. generate a structure with 1 the key figure "sales" and second a formula which equals zero
c. press Cells in your menubar and give all the combination of Sales and years a cell reference.
d. Create formulas in the combination of year/Formula=0 and just make the formula this years sales - last years sales.
This is a lot like Excel but also is'nt very handy for navigating and hence not a solution I normally would recomend
If you are not on the other hand restricted to the way it has to look I would generate 3 columns with restricted key figures.
1 with filter on Fiscal Year (0FISCYEAR) taking Current year and key figure sales
2 With filter on Fiscal Year taking Current year and an offset of -1 and key figure sales
3 Same and offset -2
Last I would make 2 formulas giving me the differences.
But as mentioned there are many ways of achieving your goal - maybe someone will have a better way

Two drives shows difference in file size, two drives shows difference in file size

i have two drives on 'Lacie' and other 'seagate'. Both the drives have identical data, basically they are backup drives.
File size that shows up at the bottom of finder window is different in both the drives.
They have a difference of 3kb data. Though the indivisual files on the both the drives shows the same size.
My question is why would be there any difference in file size if both the drives contains exactly the same data?

Show differences between identical columns of two different tables

I am trying to build an ADF UIX page that takes data from 2 tables. Both of these tables will have matching columns. The requirement is, I need to compare each of the columns within these tables and highlight the differences between the columns. For example, if table 1 has a column x with value 10 and table 2 has a column x with value 20, at runtime, I need to provide a text field for table 2's x column so that the user can change the value to match table 1 or enter a different value.
I need to do this using ADF UIX. Could anyone please help me in achieving this?

cartesian product of all the rows of the all the 3
tables.
1st table-7 rows
2nd table-7 rows
3rd table-7 rows
total rows in result table- 343 rows.

You might also want a WHERE clause if the tables have more than one row in.did you have a problem with? You provided no information on which any of us could have written a join condition. I assumed you either had only the one row you showed us, or you were planning on coding the join yourself.
