F4 in an ALV_GRID is ok , but writing manually in the field ?

Question

In an alv_grid, when I use F4 in a cell and pick a value in a matchcode I fill also two other fields at the same time ( I obtain this functionality by using a custom matchcode in dictionary ). Well,  I would like to do the same thing also when the user write manually in the cell (not using matchocode). Is there a simple way to implement this functionality ? Any suggestions ?

What you need to do is:
Create the event handler method to handle the event DATA_CHANGED of the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID
Set the event handler and register the edit event
In the event handler method, you would have an access to the importing parameter ER_DATA_CHANGED which is reference to CL_ALV_CHANGED_DATA_PROTOCOL.
Call method GET_CELL_VALUE of this ER_DATA_CHANGED to get the value and method MODIFY_CELL to set the value.
LOOP AT er_data_changed->mt_good_cells INTO lwa_good_cells where fieldname = lv_field.   
        CALL METHOD er_data_changed->get_cell_value
          EXPORTING
            i_row_id    = lwa_good_cells-row_id
            i_fieldname = lv_field
          IMPORTING
            e_value     = lv_value_old.
        CALL METHOD er_data_changed->modify_cell
          EXPORTING
            i_row_id    = lwa_good_cells-row_id
            i_fieldname = lv_field
            i_value     = lv_value_new.
endloop.
