Yes, I believe there is an issue currently with the Facebook app connecting, I am seeing others reporting the same.

My iPad mini retina display wifi 16 GB is showing blank white display and is like frozen. I can't shut it down or restart. It was working perfectly till 13/4/2015 night and next day morning it showing this problem.There is no physical damage to my iPad and is in perfect good condition. I updated the latest OS 8.3 version 3 days before this issue happened. I took it to the apple authorised service centre but to my shock they told the display and unit has to be replaced which will cost me Rs.15000/-. It's just been one year and 7 days only since i bought my iPad,i.e, just 7 days out of warranty period only.I don't find any fault with the hardware neither no physical damage is there. Need help to sort out this issue.

It works for many users. In some cases the white screen is due to a hardware problem and there is nothing that one can do short of getting someonet to know what they are doing and take the iPod apart andmaybe fix the hardware problem.

I've just upgraded the software on my iPad mini but I can no longer get my Facebook newsfeed. All it tells me is to add friends!! I can still view my timeline, friends pages and groups etc!
It's just my newsfeed I can't see.
I don't have the same problem on my iPhone though!!!

That said the Site Advisor 3.3.1 is blocklisted by Mozilla due to the Site Advisor extension being the #2 cause of crashing the Firefox 5.0 betas. I have heard that SiteAdvisor 3.4 is now available, which should fix all FireFox 5.0 issues. It is available from siteadvisor.com . Not sure why McAfee isn't doing an automatic update for their users. -

I've noticed a number of posts on here over the past few days about the Facebook App not loading News Feed properly. I had this issue for about 2 days, right up to the point (literally) that I started typing this post, when it suddenly started working again without my doing anything at all.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening?
The error on screen suggests a connection failure, but every other screen is available to you (i.e. your own profile page, other FB users profile pages, settings etc.), it just won't connect to News.
Odd, working now, but would love to know what the problem was / is.

I have recently upgraded to a blackberry Z10. When opening facebook, the newsfeeds screen opens with the turning ring and after a while comes up with the message "there was a problem connecting to facebook. Please check the connection and try again. Tap to retry". Going into any of the other sections of the app actually works. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I also trid the solution to go into the mobile site and set the sort order. nothing works. Can anybody help?

F12 tools cause Internet Explorer 11 to not open any sites; blank white page only
On Windows 8.1 with Internet Explorer 11, if I open the F12 tools and close IE without closing the F12 tools, the next time I open IE (for any site) it opens to a blank white page and nothing loads. The workaround is to open IE using the "iexplore.exe
-extoff" command > turn on the F12 tools > and then close the F12 tools using the 'X' from the F12 tools pane > and then close IE. After this, IE opens all pages fine. Has anyone else seen this behavior with the F12 tools? Is there possibly a

On my test machine, I cannot reproduce this issue, this would be related to IE settings.
I would like to suggest you try reset IE or test without addons to check result.
1. Run IE with no add-ons. Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Internet Explorer (with no add-ons).
2. Try to reset IE to resolve the issue.

Please understand that reset Internet Explorer to its default configuration. This step will also disable any add-ons, plug-ins, or toolbars that are installed.If this doesn't work, please provide us the error message in the Event Viewer for further research.

I have the most current version of Captivate 6 (6.0.1.240) and have a simple single slide project using the green theme that produced a blank white page on iPad and iPhone. I publish it clicking the SWF and HTML5 options and the multiscreen.html link works fine on my laptop (Windows 7 Pro 64 bit) in all major browsers but produces a blank white page on iPad. The iPad iOS version is 6.0.1. All the YouTube based "how to's" show it working without issue and without any special settings or setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i did have my most visited sites in the pin ups yet for some reason or other not sure why but not when i open a new tab all there is, is one big blank white page. Not a toggle switch not even blank pin up thumb nails. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Blank White pages will not delete
Help please if you can! I am making my first A3 photo book and love so many features that are offered. However I have a big problem that I cannot seem to fix. There are about 10 blank / white pages that I cannot delete - they are stuck! If I click the minus ( - ) button I get the message asking if I am sure I want to delete, I say yes, and then nothing happens. The pages all say "Insert Text" on them. If I try to turn them into a new page with pictures as layout then that adds a NEW page instead of replacing the white page. I have tried everything I can think of and cannot get rid of these.
Please help?!Hi Caz - I had the same "can't delete or change" hyperlink problem. Fortunately for me is that I discovered the answer at the beginning of my project (I think you have some major complaining to do to Adobe about your situation).
Anyway, when first creating hyperlinks, you *MUST* be very very careful.
The "shared hyperline destination" checkbox MUST be checked. If it isn't, you are screwed.
To edit or delete those hyperlinks, you MUST have the Hyperlink dialog box open. If you can't find it, go to your main file menu, select WINDOW > Interactive > Hyperlinks.
That window will show hundreds of your listed hyperlinks.
In your text, click in the hyperlink you want to edit or delete. The resulting hyperlink "name" will be highlighted in the Hyperlink dialog box. From there, you can edit or delete.
Now, you might have to completely re-work your document (oy!), but at least, you will not make the same mistake again (oy! oy!).
InDesign has a bug that I just reported - although you can seemingly link to a file, it saves the information using escape characters in the filename path, which makes opening the file (at least on a PC) impossible. I have to edit every single pathname in Acrobat! Adobe better get back to me QUICK on this bug report because it is major, major, major!
We purchased InDesign to create beautiful linked PDF files - we could have just worked in Microsoft Word, but noooooo, we decided that InDesign offered so many wonderful features it was worth the investment. Who'd a thought they would have screwed up on the whole hyperlink thing. The programmers should have been shot for not making the "shared hyperlink destination" required and hidden from view.

Try this reset ...
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart your iPad.
Try the iTunes Store.
No data is lost due to a reset. -
My blog will not load--it gives me a blank white page.
If I type in my blog's URL I can see it fine. But if I try to login or search on it or go into the archives, it gives me a blank white page. Not an error code. Just a white page. I can see my favicon in the address bar.
I've tried it on FF and Safari. Same thing happens. I've tried it on other computers and the same thing happens.
I have asked my host to look into it, they don't know what to do. I asked my ISP about it and they said it's probably browser issues.
I looked thru all the help forums and altho' some people have this same problem not one of them had it resolved.

aIn your WordPress administrative panel, try deactivating the WP Super Cache plugin to bypass any problems with cached pages. Similarly, scrutinize your other plugins to see whether any of them are not absolutely necessary, in case there is a conflict.
Then clear your Firefox browser cache and try again.
Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > "Clear Now"
Any difference?
Edit: Oh... if you cannot log in, then it's hard to administer plugins, isn't it. You might need a WordPress doctor to explain how to make changes using an FTP client or your web host's file manager. -
When I update my iPhone 4S to iOS six Facebook does not work properly the newsfeed doesn't load properly and I can never see what's going on all I see is a picture of an antenna and a little thing underneath it says no new stories when I reset my phone back to iOS 5 then it works just fine and I don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with iOS six that isn't letting Facebook load properly
No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

I found a solution to my problem.
> start menu
> accessories,
> right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator".
Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
hit enter
You should get a message that the winsock reset successful and you will need to reboot your computer.
Reboot and when I reloaded itunes the store loaded fine.
