Failure Class not bundled with BDK Samples

Hi,
I'm trying to test the sample codes that are bundled with the BDK however jDeveloper shows me that the class Failure (com.oracle.beehive.rest.Failure) is missing.
I understand that these classes where generated by the JAXB script that we executed in the tutorial but it seems like that class is not being generated.
I found a guy with a similar problem: Re: beehive java_bdk examples did  not compile so far he didn't got a response either

I currently don't have a 2.0.x environment. I will get back to you on this in the following days (hopefully by the end of the week).

  • ODM client not bundled with 11g client install?

    All,
    Our 10g Oracle Client install includes the Oracle Directory Manager.
    We just installed the Administration version of the 11g client and I don't see ODM there.
    Can someone verify that ODM is not bundled with the 11g client?
    If it is bundled, how do I run it? The 11g Installer did not give me a menu item for it.
    Thanks,

    Ok... despite the overwhelming response on this forum I contacted Apple support to found the solution.
    All mac's need internet access to send and receive the Apple Push Notifications. Even if the server is on the same network....
    For those behind a firewall / proxy and not quite keen on letting clients have full access; all apple servers are on the 17.0.0.0/8 range.

  • HELP!! Nokia's API classes not found with j2me WTK

    I setup j2me WTK, jdk1.4.2 and also Nokia's SDK (Series_60_MIDP_SDK_for_Symbian_OS_v_1_2_1) on my Win NT 4.0 machine.
    J2ME samples (shipped with it) are working fine with ktoolbar. but when i try to build & run nokia samples, they are always giving error "FullCanvas class not found" and "package com.nokia.lcd.ui.* not found". I am sure it is the problem of placement of classes of nokia at correct place inside j2me's WTK. However, i followed the guidelines to install symbian sdk inside wtk401\wtklib\devices folder (as per instructions of forum nokia). But i am still not able to get it running. Any expert suggestions, then plz respond me , i am in urgent need to solve this issue!!!! plz help me!!!!

    Hi,
    Maybe I'm being thick but I can't get this work. I've tried zipping the com/nokia stuff into the midpapi.zip. And I've tried just replacing midapi.zip with classes.zip from the nokia emulator. But it still says:
    "package nokia.mid.ui does not exist
    import nokia.mid.ui.*;"
    I'm using ktoolbar 1.04.
    Many thanks!
    CP
    Hey, thanks for the great tip. Was also using
    KToolbar because it runs faster on my slow laptop than
    Sun One studio.
    With the later version of WTK, the paths
    C:\...\WTK21\lib contains 2 files, midpapi20.zip and
    midpapi10.zip
    The later contains classes for compiling to MIDP1.0
    standard. I think most people use this. Replace it
    the class.zip in
    C:\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_7210_MIDP_SDK_v1_0\lib if
    you're using the same SDK as I am, and don't forget to
    rename it.
    Cheers.

    hi. when i try to use the remote command manager in my live environment only i get a class not found exception for my initial context factory. using a debugger i discovered this is actually hiding a linkage error. so i confirmed that my resin and java versions and all my jars are the same between live and stage, where this works no problem. but still doesn't work in production. any ideas what else i should look at? here's a stack trace

    I would guess the problem is related to the application's class-loader visibility. Verify that your application can access the class org.exolab.jms.jndi.InitialContextFactory forio to launching the TopLink session. If it cannot then you may need to address the container's access to this library.

    Sorry, not here to offer a solution but to report a similar problem. But in my case, the version is 1.3.0_03 and the error message is "PrintApplet.class not found." which appeared at the foot of the browser. (using WINDOWS 98; I/E 5.5) Can anyone help?

  • Is the JMX based Application Server Control not bundled with EJB3

    I don't see Application Server Control bundled with EJB3? Is it initentionally left out or just missed out. It is a easy way to manage AS through it. The AS is only available from 10.1.3 preview version, can I deploy the ASC onto EJB3 also?
    If so, can you refer me to any document pointing to it?

    Hello,
    You are right the EJB 3.0 Preview does not contains the OracleASC (JMX Based console)
    Next week we will publish the next developer preview of OracleAS 10g (10.1.3) that is a full J2EE 1.4 container, EJB 3.0 and that will contains the OracleASC.

  • Need Soundtrack Pro or equivalent as standalone app. (not bundled with FCS)

    I do in-house editing of seminar videos for a small organization. The bottleneck is cleaning up the audio tracks of oral clicks and other vocal noises we don't want in the video. It would greatly speed up the process if we could have 2 people working simultaneously on the audio tracks.
    I'd be happy to purchase another copy of Soundtrack Pro to do this. But I can't justify $1299 to get it as part of the Final Cut Studio bundle because I don't need a 2nd copy of all the other applications. I have not found any other audio editing application that has the features I use all the time in Soundtrack Pro: Set Ambient Noise Print/Replace with Ambient Noise.
    Does anyone know of another application that does this? I also need the app. to include an equivalent to the pencil tool to clean up clicks. (hopefully for less than $300).

    What keeps you from crossgrading if you've got other FCS apps?
    Here's another option. Get Apple Motion used. Then crossgrade to FCS for 200[total it's a freakin deal]! Where there's a will there's always a way...Hey.

  • Class not communicating with document class

    I created classes that would hold the layout of my level. So level 1 has an array like:
      floor1[0] = [2,1,1,1,1,1,2];
      floor1[1] = [1,1,1,1,1,1,1];
      floor1[2] = [1,1,1,2,1,1,1];
      floor1[3] = [1,1,1,1,1,1,1];
      floor1[4] = [1,1,1,2,1,1,1];
      floor1[5] = [1,1,1,1,1,1,1];
      floor1[6] = [2,1,1,1,1,1,2];
    And level 2 would contain a different setup like:
      floor2[0] = [1,1,1,3,1,1,1];
      floor2[1] = [1,2,1,3,1,2,1];
      floor2[2] = [1,1,1,3,1,1,1];
      floor2[3] = [1,1,1,2,1,1,1];
      floor2[4] = [1,1,1,3,1,1,1];
      floor2[5] = [1,2,1,3,1,2,1];
      floor2[6] = [1,1,1,3,1,1,1];
    Here's my problem. These classes aren't communicating with my document class. My document has a blank array called createFloor that will equal floor1 first. Once that level is finished, it will equal floor2, and so on. The code is below:
    for (var Y:int=0; Y<createFloor.length; Y++)
                                            for (var X:int=0; X<createFloor[Y].length; X++)
                                                      var cell:MovieClip = new Tile(X,Y);
                                                      cell.gotoAndStop(createFloor[Y][X]);
                                                      cell.x = ((X-Y)*tileh)+365;
                                                      cell.y = ((X+Y)*tileh/2)+70;
                                                      addChild(cell);
                                                      cell.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, mouseclick);
                                                      cell.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, onGame);
    I'm not sure how to get the document class and the level class to talk to each other. I tried making the level class extend the Main, but I fugre that had nothing to do with it. Any ideas

    change your Level1 class to:
    package  {
              import flash.display.MovieClip;
              public class Level1 extends MovieClip {
    public var floor1:Array;
                        public function Level1() {
                                 floor1 = new Array();
                                  floor1[0] = [2,1,1,1,1,1,2];
                                  floor1[1] = [1,1,1,1,1,1,1];
                                  floor1[2] = [1,1,1,2,1,1,1];
                                  floor1[3] = [1,1,1,1,1,1,1];
                                  floor1[4] = [1,1,1,2,1,1,1];
                                  floor1[5] = [1,1,1,1,1,1,1];
                                  floor1[6] = [2,1,1,1,1,1,2];
    as long as Level1 is in the same directory as your document class, in your document class you can use:
    private var level1:Level1 = new Level1();
    trace(level1.floor1);

    Hi.
    there is an application on my company's intranet hat has some applets. I installed the j2sdk1.4.2_04 and whenever I start the aplication it says "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException", but if i turn of the j2se for applets (on IE 6.0 sp1: tools>internet options>advances>uncheck use java 2 for ...) and use the microsoft VM the application works just fine.
    can someone help me???

    It seems your application uses classes from Microsoft, not only common classes (JDK 1.1.4). What the name of class in ClassNotFoundException?

  • Captivate 5.5 not bundled with Tech Communications Suite 3.0

    I just purchased the Tech Communications Suite and assumed I was getting the latest version of Captivate which is 5.5. Unfortunately that is not the case. Since I've been getting some strange behavior I thought I would just check to see if there is any way to get the most up-to-date version of Captivate. Adobe Virtual Chat tells me it's "not possible" but I don't like that answer. I just feel if Captivate 5.5 is out there and I just bought the Suite 4 weeks ago, it should be a part of the bundle.
    Any solution?
    Thanks in advance as always!

    Welcome to our community
    I think I'd first try ensuring your browsers have the latest Flash Player/Plug-In installed.
    If that fails, try disconnecting any network cables.
    Lastly, try temporarily disabling your Anti-virus software. You may need to add Captivate as an exclusion if disabling the Anti-virus helps.

    Hi All,
    Sorry everyone, there was a spelling error; I saved the (.as)
    file as GreeetingApp.as when it should have been GreetingApp.as.
    Big spelling error, thus a conflict.
    In future, I will first check the filenames are matching ;)
