Regarding reverse order name rajesh

could u plz explain at the end of this code how it willl execute.
data : c(6) value 'rajesh'.
data : l type i,i type i value -1.
data : str(6) .
l = strlen( c ). " what will be contain in 'l"
do l times. " what is "l" here
i = i + 1.     " why we keep this "i" and i+1
                    what data it will have
l = l - 1.      " same the above
STRi(1) = Cl(1). " what STR will contain " + " what is the role of + either addition or
                              what C will contain
could u plz explain clearly
enddo.
write STR.

Hi,
Find my explanation below....
data : c(6) value 'rajesh'.
data : l type i,i type i value -1.
data : str(6) .
l = strlen( c ). "l will contain the length of the string 'rajesh'. i,e -- 6
do l times. " loop at 6 times
i = i + 1. "  i will be used as offset for STR 0 , 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 to add the
              " character one by one
l = l - 1. " to decrement the L since the last char of C is added to STR
            " i,e 'h' is proccesed ... in the next loop we need to get the 's' char of C
STRi(1) = Cl(1). "
Here + stands for the offset ...
for example if i = 2   STR+2(1) .... implies  2nd char of the string STR and 1 stands for the no. of char.
In the Do loop.....
for each pass the char form C in the reverse order is added to the STR..
pass1.
STR = h , l = 6, i = 1
pass2.
STR = hs , l =5, i = 2
pass3.
STR = hse , l = 4, i = 3
pass4.
STR = hsej , l = 3, i = 4
pass5.
STR = hseja , l = 2, i = 5
pass6.
STR = hsejar , l = 1, i = 6

    I wonder if we haven't misunderstood what you were asking for. Could it be that you have not a huge file, but just a huge list of names in many small files. If that's the case, you should rather use the following script instead of the previous one.
    Since this script does not rename the files, make a backup of your files before running it.
    set theFolder to choose folder -- the folder containing your text files
    tell application "Finder"
        set theNames to name of files of theFolder whose name extension is "txt"
    end tell
    set theTextFiles to {}
    set theFolderPath to POSIX path of theFolder
    repeat with thisName in theNames
        copy theFolderPath & thisName to the end of theTextFiles
    end repeat
    repeat with thisFile in theTextFiles
        set F1 to open for access thisFile
        set theText to read F1
        close access F1
        set theParagraphs to paragraphs of theText
        set bigList to (a reference to theParagraphs)
        set theNewParagraphs to {}
        set bigNewList to (a reference to theNewParagraphs)
        repeat with X in bigList
            set P to offset of " - " in X
            if P = 0 then
                set Y to X
            else
                set Y to text (P + 3) through -1 of X & " - " & text 1 through (P - 1) of X
            end if
            copy Y & return to the end of bigNewList
        end repeat
        set theNewText to text 1 through -2 of (bigNewList as text)
        set F2 to open for access thisFile with write permission
        set eof F2 to 0
        write theNewText to F2
        close access F2
    end repeat

  • Start a Task Process assigns tasks in the reverse order

    Hello,
    I am using SPD2013 and Sharepoint 2013 Online.
    I am using 'Start a Task Process' using  people from the Person or Group Lookup column that allows multiple selections.
    For some reason, the 'Start a Task Process' action assigns the participants in the reverse order. I am currently assigning the participants using...
    'Workflow Lookup for a User'
    Data Source: Current Item
    Field from Source: the Person/Group Lookup
    Return Field as: Display Name; Semicolon Delimited.
    The problem is not isolated to just one workflow, but all workflows in the sharepoint site. I tried deleting the workflow and remaking it but I am still having the same problem.
    The tasks are assigned as expected if I don't use 'Workflow lookup for a User."
    Has anyone run into this issue before? Thanks for all of your help.

    Hi CalvinKwon,
    How did you set the participants when the workflow work as expect? Set users one by one?
    Are you using “Serial(one at a time)” or “Parallel(all at once)” for assigning tasks?
    I did a test and found that:
    If I used “Serial(one at a time)” , the order of assigning task is random regardless of using “'Workflow lookup for a User” or one by one.
    If I used “Parallel(all at once)”, the order of assigning task is right regardless of using “'Workflow lookup for a User” or one by one.
    I could not reproduce this issue on my SharePoint On-premise, it seems to only happen on SharePoint Online.
    Please test with “Start Approval Process” action using SharePoint 2010 platform.
    And as this issue is about SharePoint Online, I suggest you create a new thread on Office 365 forum. The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly
    can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.

  • How do I get my ipod to play a playlist from reverse order? (Start with recently added song instead of first added)

    How do I get my ipod to play a playlist from reverse order? (Start with recently added song instead of first added)
    So I'm adding new songs to a very old playlist? Is there anyway that when I add them, they automatically go to top of playlist? How about getting one song to the top of a playlist.  That drag to arrange function is very annoying because it is slow and the playlist does not scroll up very well on a PC.

    Make a new playlist by pressing the little plus button at the very lower left corner of iTunes. An new playlist will appear in the Source pane called "untitled playlist". While the name is highlighted, you can change it to whatever you want. Drag all of the tracks from all the albums that comprise a single book to that playlist. Sync that playlist to your iPod.

    Which method implementation of Pageable interface should return the page number ?w.r.t. your first question: don't return that number but return page n-1-i when page i is requested; your document will be printed in reverse order. Your class should implement the entire interface and wrap the original Pageable. (for that number n your class can consult the wrapped interface; read the API for the Pageable interface).

  • Urgent: How to bring the same pricing procedure in reversal order??

    Hi,
    We have recently implementated CIN at our client location. For the orders present in the system before CIN implementation, when we are creating the reversal orders, system is bringing the new pricing procedure with CIN condition types?
    Can we bring the same pricing procedure in the reversal order as in the sales order?
    Please advise urgently.
    Regards,
    Peeyoosh.

    Dear Peeyoosh
    I am unable to understand from your comments
    "For the orders present in the system before CIN implementation, when we are creating the reversal orders"
    Please let me know how do you reverse a sale order.  To my knowledge, we can reverse delivery and billing but not sale order.  Either we can close the sale order by assigning some reason for rejection or delete the sale order.
    This being the case, please let me know why you are reversing and how you are reversing.  If you want the same pricing procedure for both normal sales and returns, then maintain the same pricing procedure for both document types.
    thanks

  • PDF files print in reverse order per page

    Hi - I am trying to figure out if this is an adobe issue or a printing issue.  It is happening only on this user who is on Adobe 9.1 -everyone else is on 7.0 and they aren't having this issue.  So maybe it  is  a combo.
    When the user prints a PDF which was a powerpoint file (she did not creat it was sent via email) she selects 2 per page and hten selects doublesided - landscape and collates staples top left hand side.
    File prints doublesided and collates, but what would be slide one would be on the bottom of the page and what would be slide 2 would show at the top.  On the back of the 1st page  slide 3 is at the the bottom and slide 4 is at the top.  Staples at the bottom right.
    Printer settings seem ok......there is a selection for order and top to bottom is selected.  Reverse order is NOT selected.
    Are there any settings in Adobe that would cause this?  I have googled and though there are some similar questions no one has answered.
    specs:
    Windows XP Professional SP3
    Adobe 9.1 (latest updates)
    Canon IR C5185 (multifunction color)
    thanks in advance. Robin

    Hey,
    Please let me know what is your Reader version.
    Open Reader and go to Edit->Preferences->Accessibility and deselect 'Replace Document Colors' option.
    If this does not help, then try repairing Adobe Reader and then check.
    Let me know.

  • Thumbnails in reverse order in Icon view

    When I look at a folder full of picture thumbnails in Finder, in Icon view, and select Keep Arranged by Date Modified, or Date Created, they appear in the reverse order, with the most recent at the top. In the other views (list, cover flow etc.) they appear in the order I want them, with the most recent at the bottom. How can I correct this?
    Richard

    Setting 'Arrange by date order' toggles between oldest and newest first in List and Cover flow view on mine.
    Icon view and column view don't change from newest first.
    Arrange by name toggles on list and cover flow view too..

  • Retrieving rows in reverse order

    Hi all,
    I wish to retrieve row data in reverse order. Iam not retrieving the data in any particular sorting order, i just want a simple reversal of rows returned for eg.
    say initially data returned is
    Name Age
    abc 20
    bbb 25
    ccc 19
    ddd 22
    I want it as
    Name Age
    ddd 22
    ccc 19
    bbb 25
    abc 20

    The order of rows isn't random, but it is arbitrary. While it is probable that "select * from emp" will return rows in the same order today as it did yesterday, Oracle is certainly under no obligation to do so. If there are any changes to the table-- new rows, deleted rows, modified rows, table reorganization, etc.-- if there are changes to the statistics for the tables, or if there are changes to the database, the order rows will be returned in will change. Changes to the Oracle version might change the order rows are returned in as well.
    While it is unlikely to happen in practice, it would be prefectly legal for Oracle to return rows in exactly the same order for both of Laurent's queries. In practice, they are reasonably likely to return rows in the opposite order most of the time.

  • Rename files in reverse order

    Hi all,
    I'm looking for a script that can rename "n" files inside a folder in reverse order (preserving extension):
    OLD NAME --> NEWNAME
    file1.ext --> file(n).ext
    file2.ext --> file(n-1).ext
    file3.ext --> file (n-2).ext
    file(n) --> file 1
    Is there something available online to do that with Apple Script? I've tried almost al "renamer tools" available but none can do such a thing and I'm not able to script something so this is why I'm asking here
    TIA

    The following script should do what you are asking for, although it is rather slow with folders containing a large number of files. There most likely exist much faster solutions. I hope this one can help anyway. Run the script from the AppleScript Editor.
    *set theFolder to choose folder*
    *tell application "Finder"*
    *   set theFiles to files of theFolder as alias list*
    *   set N to (count theFiles)*
    *   set N2 to 2* * *N + 1*
    *   repeat with thisFile in theFiles*
    *      set {theName, theExtension} to {name, name extension} of thisFile*
    *      set {theName, theNumber} to my rename(theName, theExtension)*
    *      set name of thisFile to theName & (N2 - theNumber) & "." & theExtension*
    *   end repeat*
    *   set theFiles to files of theFolder as alias list*
    *   repeat with thisFile in theFiles*
    *      set {theName, theExtension} to {name, name extension} of thisFile*
    *      set {theName, theNumber} to my rename(theName, theExtension)*
    *      set name of thisFile to theName & (theNumber - N) & "." & theExtension*
    *   end repeat*
    *   set theFolderName to name of theFolder*
    *end tell*
    *tell me to activate*
    *beep 2*
    *display dialog "The " & N & " files of folder “" & theFolderName & "” have been renamed in reverse order." buttons {"OK"} default button 1 with icon 1*
    *on rename(theName, theExtension)*
    *   set L1 to (offset of "." & theExtension in theName) - 1*
    *   set theName to text 1 through L1 of theName*
    *   set theDigits to {}*
    *   repeat with k from 1 to L1*
    *      set thisDigit to item -k of theName*
    *      if thisDigit is in "1234567890" then*
    *         copy thisDigit to the end of theDigits*
          else
    *         exit repeat*
    *      end if*
    *   end repeat*
    *   set theNumber to (reverse of theDigits) as text*

  • Sort list reverse order

    I want to sort a list of files in reverse order e.g.  oldest to newest instead of newest to oldest I seems the ony options are date, name etc.

    Right click (Control click) on the column headings and make sure you have the right 'Date' term select that you want to sort.
    Then click on the column heading ('Date Modified' in the case below) to change from oldest to newest and newest to oldest. The triangle will flip upside down as you do so.

  • Remove attached movieclip in reverse order of placement

    Is it possible in AS2 to remove an attached movieclip instance in reverse order? I want to give the user the ability to click an erase button and remove the most recent instance of an attached movie. I have tried .swapDepths and getting inconsistent results. Here is what I have:
    this.onMouseDown = function(){
    var drawdot:MovieClip;
    drawdot = this.attachMovie("dot", "dot_mc", this.getNextHighestDepth(), {_x:_xmouse, _y:_ymouse});
    var nextdepth = this.getNextHighestDepth();
    trace (nextdepth);
    clear_btn.onPress = function() {
    dot_mc.swapDepths(100000)
    removeMovieClip(dot_mc);
    Thanks for your time.

    Perhaps using an array to store the movie clips names that are attached would work. Then you could use the array.pop() method to get the last element entered and remove it from the array at the same time.
    I bolded the lines I changed/added in your code.
    var i:Number = 0;
    var dotArrays = new Array();
    this.onMouseDown = function(){
    var drawdot:MovieClip;
    drawdot = this.attachMovie("dot", "dot_mc" + i, this.getNextHighestDepth(), {_x:_xmouse, _y:_ymouse});
    dotArrays.push(this["dot_mc" + i]._name);
    var nextdepth = this.getNextHighestDepth();
    trace (nextdepth);
    clear_btn.onPress = function() {
    var delete_mc = dotArrays.pop();
    removeMovieClip(delete_mc);
    Let me know if this works ok.

  • When I try to insert several pdf files into an initial one, they consistently are attached in reverse order, no matter how I instruct the program. How do I correct this?

    I am working with Acrobat X Pro. I open a pdf, then try to insert several files, in a specific order, into the first one. No matter whether I instruct it to place the files after the first, last or name a page number, the files are inserted in reverse order after the initial file. How do I overcome this problem?

    Thanks Bill !! for providing the simple answer - this has saved me much work.  I always assumed that Acrobat would either a) sort the inserted files alphanumerically or b) use the sort order of the OS's file selector.  The c) answer of inserting the files in the reverse order of the OS file selector (since Acrobat will reverse that order) eluded me until now.
    It's clearly a bug in the program, I'm using Acrobat X Pro, but had the exact same problem with Acrobat 7 - never occurred to me to sort the file listing in reverse alphanumeric order in order to have Acrobat insert them in correct alphanumeric order.
    Thank!

  • CProjects - PS - elements on the first level in reversed order

    Hello,
    I am using the hierarchical Accounting with PS and facing a problem with the order of the created elements.
    The project definition and the second level are in the correct order. Somehow the first level (-> the level with the phases in cProjects) are in reversed order.
    Can someone tell possible reasons for this?
    Thx, Max

    Hi Max,
    It is a known problem, but there is no solution so far . The purpose of the replication is for the controlling, and from the controlling point of view. It does not care, which wbs is on the left or on the right.  There is even a note to indicate this system behaviour.
