Fake Prepopulate

I have a situation where all the provisions of a user's account on a resource are done by operators (with the neccessary roles to be able to directly provision a resource). The operators should be able to see the user's manager on the form of the account. For this I created a new field on the form which is auto prepopulated from a custom adapter with the user's manager. The problem is that the prepopulate adapters can not populate a not empty field, so if later the manager of the user has changed, that field will display the old manager when trying to modify the account of the user. It is not important for me the information of the Manager (it is for display purposes only). So, is there any way to always prepopulate this field with tha value of the manager, but dont save it in the DB, so that field will always be empty and always be prepopulated with the value of the manager for displaying purposes?

Thank you for the responses guys. I would prefer not to use a trigger if possible.
I can create an entity adapter that empties a field (create an adapter variable of type string, literal with no value and mapp this as the variable output). I thought that by associating this adapter to the field of the manager as "post insert/update" and also use a prepopulate adapter that polupates the field with the manager information would do the trick, but it was not so. THe OIM managed server crashed and restarted when I tried to provision the resource, giving "Segmentation Fault" error. Is it possible to associate an entity adapter and a prepopulate adapter to the same field?

According to your descrition, my understanding is that you want to use Fakes framework to create test case for SharePoint project in Visual Studio 2013.
If you want to test using Fakes Framework, you can use the codeplex extension to achieve it. It supports Visual Studio 2013.

The amount of storage that is shown on the box and in Settings are calculated differently - the package uses 1 billion bytes as a gig (i.e. decimal), whereas in Settings it's shown as the binary definition : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2419
Also some space has been used for iOS, the built-in app and some space is lost due to formatting.

Can't access safe mode to delete System Security fake anti virus virus. HELP.

Hi, our SL500 has become infected with "System Security" fake anti virus software. We have tracked down how to remove it.

We have tried F8...........Repeatedly . And also Run->msconfig->BOOT.INI->/SAFEBOOT . But to no avail . Actually we get a pop up stating that Windows can not find said command and have we typed it in correctly . Please could some one help us as this is driving us insane . One last thing . A computer WITHOUT a "safe mode " option, isn't that kinda of unsafe and a tad.....

Instructions for malware removal.
You will need to print out a copy of these instructions, or save them to NotePad and put a shortcut to the file on the desktop so that you can refer to while you complete this procedure as you will be required to boot into Safe Mode where you wont have internet access.

After that is done click on the reports button at the bottom and save it to file name it Kas.
Save it somewhere convenient like your desktop and just post only the detected Virus\malware in the report it will be at the very top under Detected post those results in your next reply.
Note: This tool will self uninstall when you close it so please save the log before closing it.

Thanks for trying to help. Sadly, I followed the instructions and it rebooted to the blue screen again.
It's going to have to go to Apple for repairs now. I'm out of options.
I am wondering how much easier it would have been if I'd created a time machine restore point. I got what I deserved for failing to do that, but I'm doubtful even that would have worked in this case. It does seem to be because of that piece of widely reported malware that didn't want to leave without causing damage.
The most frustrating aspect is the safe boot. I get to the desktop but without any menu, finder or dock. It seems to be similar to the problem below...

Cannot boot into Arch using Gummiboot and Intel fake RAID

This is my first time installing Arch Linux in a few years. The installation seemed to go fine, but I can't boot into it. At this point, when I try to boot into it this is my console output: http://pastie.org/9389435
First of all, what confuses me about this output are the RAID lines. My system currently has two RAID arrays: My RAID0 array where Windows 7 is installed and my RAID1 array where I'm attempting to install Arch Linux. My fstab nor Gummiboot entry files refer to the RAID0 array at all. Why does it activate the partitions on the RAID0 array but not the RAID1 array?
Second of all, lines 10, 11, 14, and 16 refer to /dev/sdd3. When I mount the partitions on my RAID array using the Arch live CD, I have to refer to them as either /dev/md/RAID1_0p1-4 or /dev/md124p1-4. The /dev/sda-sdd seem to refer to the individual drives. Why is it different when I try to boot into the system?

The reason fstab is using labels is because the genfstab command generated an fstab that mounted the partitions on the RAID array with their /dev/md124p1-4 names. I noticed these names sometimes changed if I booted back into the live cd, so at one point I changed those names to the /dev/md/RAID1_0p1-4 names. Then in another attempt to fix the problem I'm currently having, I gave each of the partitions labels and I'm now referring to them by their labels in fstab. I also removed the commented UUID's since a few of them had changed since this fstab was generated. Everything to the right of the labels was kept from the original genfstab command.

I'm also referring to my root partition by label in this file, rather than the UUID which seems to be the norm. The reason for this is because I was previously getting an error saying that it couldn't even find the root partition based on that UUID. As you can see, I left the UUID line commented in case I have to use it again later.

The modifications I made to this file were based on what I read in the fake raid article on the Arch wiki. All I did was make sure dm_mod and dm_mirror were added to the MODULES line and dmraid was added to the HOOKS line. At first I also had chipset_module_driver in MODULES, but it just generated warnings when I ran `mkinicpio -p linux` so I took it out. I don't know what that module would be for, since it only says "if necessary" on the wiki.
As for the emergency shell it puts me in when it fails to boot, there's not really much I can do from there. The filesystem it puts me in looks entirely different from the root filesystem I can mount from the live cd.
At this point, I'm stumped and I'm not sure where to go from here.

This is the line that's causing it. It's probably not because of this line, but because kdm isn't starting properly (possibly erroring) and being re-run because of the respawn option.
Try booting into single user mode, changing the default run level to 3, and debugging it from there (figure out why kdm doesn't want to start right).

I keep getting an upgrade to firefox 5 beta. It needs me to turn off my security which I won't. Is there a upgrade to firefox 5 beta? How can I get rid of it? It looks fake!!!

Every time I log on, it comes up saying an upgrade is available. I click on it and it tells me to turn off my McAfee. I will not turn it off. There is a half of the firefox logo on the screen. I suspect this is a fake website and encouraging me to think that it is a legal website so I can download the upgrade. I won't do it. I visit your sites and it doesn't show as an upgrade to 5 beta. It is possible that you are still on the beta update channel if you ever installed a Firefox 4 beta version or a release candidate.<br />
You can check that by looking at the pref <b>app.update.channel</b> on the about:config page.<br />
If the value of that pref is beta then it is better to download and install the latest Firefox 4.0.x release.

How do you sign out of an account that has a fake email?

I know its stupid but i signed into my adobe creative cloud app with a fake email and now i want to actually buy creative cloud but i cant sign out of the fake account in the adobe creative cloud desktop app. Whenever i try to get into it, a screen pops up that says resend confirmation email or continue. And i cant continue. Please help, i have an upcoming project i need Premiere for. Thanks.

That is Windows malware, and cannot affect your Mac. See:

It may be attached to an e-mail message or could be something that was copied over from a Windows machine via flash drive or something similar. If it is attached to an e-mail message, simply delete the e-mail. (Do not let Sophos, or any other anti-virus software, quarantine the message or attachment! That can corrupt the mailbox that the message resides in.) If it isn't an e-mail message, you can let Sophos quarantine and delete the file or you can delete it yourself.

How to fake ISDN b-channels as busy out of the pri-group timeslots definition ?

This is my first post here, so I hope I won't make mistakes... First, thanks for reading me.
I wanted to reuse an old 2811 to act as a SIP gateway on an ISDN primary rate interface. This router is featured with 2 PVDM2-8 modules, so that we're able to handle up to 16 simultaneous calls. So I ordered a pri with 10 channels, which is supposed to be more than enough for our usage.
Everything works fine, excepted that I discovered that the PRI which was delivered to us is a full one, meaning 30 B channels.
As a result, as incoming calls are dispatched round robin by the isdn line provider, when incoming calls start to be presented on b-channel 16, the call is rejected by the router with a "channel unavailable" message... The only way to have a successful incoming call is then to have 15 more unsuccessful tries so that the calls are presented on B-channel 1 again :-/
I have to wait for monday to deal with the line provider to sort this out, but meanwhile, I was trying to find a workaround.
My first try was to use B-channel negotiation on the serial interface (isdn negotiate-bchan resend-setup), but it seems that b channel negociation is disabled on the provider side.
So the other obvious solution would be to fake channels 17 to 31 as busy (isdn busy b_channel xx) ... But as the pri-group timeslots are 1-16, the related serial interface is serial0/0/0:15, and I'm unable to set busy B-channels over 15. And of course, I have no way to define pri-group timeslots 1-31 as I have not enough DSPs to handle more than 16.
I also tried to use the ds0 busyout directive within the E1 controller configuration, but while the command is accepted, it does not appear in the configuration

You can't do that with MobileMe. MobileMe's mail servers will only accept senders from their own domains (@mac.com and @me.com). No other senders, not even from configured personal domains, will be accepted.
You will either have to use your companies SMTP server or, if not public available, your companies webmail.

You won't be able to change the rescue email address until you can answer your security questions, if you can't remember your answers and gave a fake email address for it then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

I think I bought a fake or counterfeit version of Photoshop CS6 extended. How do I find out for sure.

i am using windows 7 on an HP Pavilion dv6-6108. I purchased Photoshop CS6 extended. The guy said it is a full Retail version and "self installs" the serial number and activates. It doesn't fully install into my control panel programs, instead it puts 2 icons on the desk top for Photoshop, but they have a "install shield" on them. I can't update (the update and register features are grayed out.under the help menu. The program opens, but everytime it does, it brings up the window asking if you want to let this program make changes on the computer. Supposedly the serial number that auto-loads is inscribed on the inner ring of the disk, but you can't really tell what they are. So I have no way to know what it is. Lots of other odd ball stuff that makes me doubt the genuineness of the product. What can I do to establish real or fake? And to get it registered like my other Adobe products.

Is there any possibility to check his Adobe-ID (which he already told me) if it's the same adress, name,etc. as he told me...
or if there is an registered Version of PS CS4 owned by this Adobe-ID?
Just like to check if he's a real person or a fake...don't want to buy any stolen or illegal software...or beeing punked after paying the money...

Old versions of Photoshop are not marketed by Adobe. Only CS5 can be upgraded to CS6. There are many scams on the web if you find a cheap copy of Photoshop out there its most likely a scam... Be careful.....

OIM-OID Provisioning - OID Group PrePopulate Approach :

I am working on OID Connector 9.0.1.14 with OIM 11.1.1.5.
I have reconciled all the Roles and Groups from OID to OIM and can successfully provision users to the OID along with membership to these specific Roles and Groups.
I want to prepopulate the OID Group based on certain attribute from the OIM User form. My Approach so far is :
1) Created an Entity Adapter with a variable : say Org and GroupName.
2) Set the Logic as if Org = XYZ (+XYZ does exist on OIM+) set GroupName as = "OID Group 1" else set GroupName as = "OID Group 2"
3) Attached this adapter to the "OID User Group" form on the "Data Object Manager" at the pre-insert stage.
4) Mapped the Adapter variable as :
a) Org Maps to "Organization Definition" with the qualifier "Organization Name"
b) GroupName maps to the "Entity Field" with the qualifier "UD_OID_GRP_GROUP_NAME"
However nothing seems to happen when I create/modify a user with Orgization Name as XYZ and manually Provision the OID Resource. I can see the form but nothing is populated in the Group Field. Upon completing the request, I get the user provisioned to OID but without any Group information..
Is my approach right ? Am I missing something ?

Here is what I have done for a client. My requirement was for a given department, a user must have a list of groups provisioned to them. So here is what i've done:
1. Create a lookup that has Code Key = Department, Decode = CN of the groups in a delimited format.
2. Create a provisioning task that will look at the department code from the user form, reference the lookup and find the decode values. Split them based on a delimiter. Then using each value, lookup the code key value from the real lookup that contains the full distinguished name of the group in the OID Group lookup. I even appened the IT Resource Key and ~ so that my search would be Decode or Code = "IT Resource Name~CN=<CN VALUE>%". This would return only the single group code key value. And then i add it to the child table. Repeat this for all the values in the delimited field.
3. Create a provisioning task that removes the values from the child table based on the delimited value. You'll need to search through the existing child table values.
Once you have the 2 tasks, you'll want to add a value to the your Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS that is your group determining field. Create your task name in this lookup. On your provisioning workflow, for the Adding of the groups task, make this unconditional, and have a preceding task of the Create User. Give it the name from your Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS and append " - Add Groups" to the task name. Create another task called the same, but append " - Delete Groups" to the task name. On the Add Groups task, make the preceding task the Delete groups. When you map your inputs to the adapters, on the delete, select the old value check box from the User Form so that you get the old value. Now, when the value changes on the user form, it will first remove the old groups, then add the new ones. All this will be done using the child table APIs, so that the existing Insert and Delete task triggers for your child table will run.
