Fancybox with Vimeo?

Anyone get fancybox with Video working?
I have this on my stage:
   $('html, body').css({
              "background": "url(images/background_cap.png) repeat-x top left"
$("#Stage").css("margin","auto")
                      $(‘<script type=”text/javascript” src=”js/fancybox/jquery.fancybox.js?v=2.1.4″></script>’).appendTo(“#Stage”);
$(‘<link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=”js/fancybox/jquery.fancybox.css?v=2.1.4″ media=”screen” />’).appendTo(“#Stage”);
And on my button with a click action I put:
$.fancybox.open([
type: 'iframe',
href : 'http://player.vimeo.com/video/69182633?autoplay=1',
title : '600 x 600'
href : 'img/800800.jpg',
title : '800 x 800'
padding : 0

There are some samples in the comments area of the page you reference that may assist with getting the video to work.

    Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
    You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
    Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
    There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

  • Share with Vimeo is timing out

    I recently upgraded to Yosemite OSX and Final Cut Pro X will not Share with Vimeo. I get a "Vimeo timed out" error. I have been using that for a year now flawlessly and now it won't upload large files. I am a Vimeo Pro user. Size is not a problem.
    Any help? I have tried resigning in on Vimeo inside FCPX but it still won't upload.

    Sorry  not to be clearer. I meant the library bundle. When you share>Vimeo, FCP first compresses the movie as an H.264 MOV. That file is saved in the Share Items folder in the library until the upload is complete an the session has been closed out. I've never run into a timed out message with Vimeo – although I don't upload files as large as yours and I usually use the Vimeo uploader after exporting a master file.

  • HTML 5: Show fancybox with iframe video

    I am just getting started with HTML5. I have created an HTML5 animation using Adobe Edge Preview 6. I am not really a developer, but more of a web designer.
    Here is the URL for a PHP test page running the animation (at the top of the page): http://www.clickcare.com/index38b.php
    Here is the code (The HTML5- generated animation plays but clicking on the Edge animation does not show the fancybox in the PHP page):
    <head>
    <!-- fancybox includes for video player within window -->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="js/fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.1.pack.js"></script>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="js/fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.1.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <!--Adobe Edge Runtime-->
    <script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8" src="welcome_pg_edgePreload.js"></script>
    <style>
    .edgeLoad-EDGE-564582621 { display:none; }
    </style><!--Adobe Edge Runtime End-->
    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="stage" class="EDGE-564582621">

    </div>
    </body>
    I am interested in clicking at any point on the continually looping animation, and stopping the animation to show a fancybox loaded with an iframe video ready to play manually.
    When I close the fancybox, I would like the animation to continue playing in a loop from where it stopped.
    The size of the fancybox is 500px (w) X 280px (h), centered on the PHP page.
    In the current version of the webpage, http://www.clickcare.com, the viewer can click anywere on a static image (also at the top of the page) to show a fancybox loaded with the same iframe video ready to play manually.
    Here is the code that works with a static image (clicking on the static image DOES SHOW the fancybox)):
    <head>
    <!-- fancybox includes for video player within window -->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="js/fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.1.pack.js"></script>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="js/fancybox/jquery.fancybox-1.3.1.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="welcome_flash_movie">
    <a class="iframe" href="http://buto.tv/F8kKd"><IMG SRC="images/rembrandt13.jpg" WIDTH="628" HEIGHT="193" ALT="Medical Collaboration with Pictures and Words" BORDER="0"></a>
    </div>
    </body>
    I need this most importantly to work on modern browers (FireFox, Safari,  Chrome); mobile browsers; and optimally, older browsers such as IE6.
    All  help with providing a code snippet to make this work with the animated version of the webpage as it already does with the webpage version containing the static image, would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance for the help,
    Marc

    What sort of files? What format? If HDV, FCP 4.5 will not work with them, as that version did not support HDV...FCP 5.0 was the first to support that format.
    But that is just a stab in the dark.

  • Video quality difficulties with Vimeo and Youtube sites and with smart phone

    Ever since the Vimeo and Youtube sites have changed, it has been pretty difficult to get the video quality I had before. I'm using Final Cut Express to edit, Quicktime Player to resize the video to 640x480 (is too wide when saving FCE project as Quicktime movie), and Jes Deinterlacer to remove all of the jaggies that the original deinterlacing on FCE doesn't fully do (skateboarding video). I'm aware Final Cut Express 4 is a discontinued product, and Apple support over the phone can't help me. The quality is TERRIBLE on my smart phone, and used to be really good before the site changed. The Vimeo app played my videos very clear. I'm using a MyTouch smart phone. I want to know if the quality being bad on mobile is because of the sites being changed, and if there is anything I can do to get the quality I want. I've worked on this the past three weeks, and this is my final option, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Here are the steps I'm using to export (still trying more export options in Jes Deinterlacer).
    Step 1: In FCE, click "File", "Export", "Quicktime Movie". In "Include:", choose "Audio and Video", "All Markers" for "Markers:", and check box "Make Movie Self-Contained".
    Step 2: Open file in QT Player. Click "Window" (at the top between "View" and "Help"), and choose "Show Movie Properties". Click "Video Track", and click "Visual Settings". Change the dimensions (which are supposed to be 720x480 4:3 but the video is stretched). Enter "640 x 480" for "Scaled Size:", then same with "Offset:" Keep "Preserve Aspect Ratio" unchecked, then when finished entering numbers check it (doesn't let you uncheck it which would be best). Check the "High Quality" box if it hasn't already been checked. Close the window, and click "File", and then "Save".
    Step 3: Open file in Jes Deinterlacer. In "Input", check box "Reinterlace Chroma", choose "Video range", and check "Remove Jaggies". For "Project", choose "Deinterlace" and "Use Bottom Field". Check "Adaptive", "Local", and "Filter Chroma". In "Output", choose "Video range". Choose "Export", and "Mpeg-4". For "File Format:" choose "MP4", for "Video Format:" choose "H.264", and for "Data Rate:" enter "2000" for "kbits/sec". Leave "Optimized for:" "Download" as is. Choose "640x480 VGA" for "Image Size:", and "Current" for "Frame Rate:". For "Key Frame:" choose "Every", and enter "24" for "frames". Click "Video Options". Leave the "Main" box checked, and check "Baseline" for "Restrict Profile(s) to:". Choose "Best Quality (Multi-pass)" for "Encoding Mode:". Click "Ok". Click "Audio" (since done with "Video"). For "Audio Format:" choose "AAC-LC (Music), for "Data Rate:" choose "320 kbps", for "Channels:" leave as "Stereo", for "Output Sample Rate:" choose "44.100 kHz", and for "Encoding Quality:" choose "Best". Click "Ok" (leave "Streaming" alone).

    First, I would do a Search on this forum for "FRAPS." There are several articles with comments on the best workflow and also settings for Import and for Export.
    Next, YouTube is trobulesome. First, they re-encode everything and their specs seem to change weekly. It's tough to find out what they want on any given day. I'd go to their site and get the very latest instructions and attempt to duplicate those perfectly, knowing that they might be different tomorrow.
    Good luck with this one, and good luck with the FRAPS footage.

    When i play a video, it plays properly but if i don't pause the video before move to the next slide the audio of the video continue playing. I've been looking for a way to sync the Web Object in the way that if i move to other (next or previous) slide this not continue playing the video in the previous slide?

    Can you provide the video URL you are using.
    Let me know if you are displaying the video in the same slide or in new browser window.

  • Possible to share as both DVD as well as online with Vimeo?

    I've finished my first movie and would like to:
    1.  post it online to share on Vimeo
    2.  make copies on DVDs
    Is this possible or am I limited to only one method of sharing the project?

    I'm sorry....this is my first post.
    I'm using APE 7 and don't want to mess up my "original file".

  • Upload problems with Facebook and Vimeo from Premiere Elements 10

    I have created a project in HD and am trying to upload to Vimeo.  Premiere Elements 10 does not have a preset so I followed some instructions from the Vimeo website.  Project is "blurry" when viewed.  I checked with Vimeo and they said what they converted matches what I sent so the problem must be in the export - bit rate may be incorrect.  Can anyone give me the correct presets for Vimeo from Premiere Elements 10.  I can view other people's video in HD and they look fine so I don't think it's my computer monitor.   I'm sure you will need more information about my project so please give me a list of specific things you need to know.  Thank you.
    My Facebook problem is as follows.  If I use the preset from Premiere Elements 10 to upload to Facebook it looks fine, HD quality as expected.  Problem is, I would like to upload to my business page.  Since the personal page and the business page (managed by my personal account) share a login, the preset always loads to my personal page.  Does anyone know the values of the preset so I can upload the video to my business page.  My business is event and wedding videography so I would like the posts to be as clear as possible.
    If the problem with the Vimeo uploads is solved then I suppose I can just share the Vimeo file on Facebook.  Thank you.

    I think that you are overlooking what you already have with regard to a Vimeo HD preset for export to file for upload of the saved file at the Vimeo website.
    Please see
    Share/Computer/AVCHD with Presets = Vimeo HD
    Under the Advanced Button/Video Tab, you can customize the preset further from 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1080 and increase the bitrate, if necessary, to a level that does not give you a prohibitive file size. With Profile = Main and Level = 3.1, the bitrate range is 0.19 to 14 Mbps (megabits per second).
    I would start with the default bitrates of Target = 8 Mbps and Maximium = 9 Mbps and explore and experiment from there.
    If you customize the preset to 1920 x 1080 in the Export Settings customization area, then change the Profile to High and the Level to 5.1
    When you do that the bitrate range will be 0.19 to 300 Mbps instead of 0.19 to 14 Mbps.
    In all cases, watch for file size versus bitrate versus quality of end product.
    Please give that a look and then let us know if the above resolves your Vimeo and Facebook question.
    Please review and let us know the outcome.
    Thank you.

    hi
    thanks so much for your reply!
    do you know of a jquery fancybox that is a little bit closer to clearbox3, one with preview thumbnails at the bottom of the slideshow image?
    this is probably a funny question, but is there also such a jquery image gallery that is free for commercial use? is there such a thing as free for commercial use? anyone know
    thanks for the help

  • Premiere Pro/Media Encoder fail when exporting something with AE linked?

    Hey all, I do some video production work for a university, and we're running into some problems when trying to export all the videos from a particularly large course.  We haven't run into this issue before so I'm hoping someone might have knowledge of it and can help me out.
    Here's some background-
    I'm trying to export videos, about 20 minutes each.  Each video has an opening sequence and closing sequence that were created in After Effects and are Dynamic linked in the right spots on the timeline.
    We're encoding with Vimeo HD 720p 29.97 settings.
    Media Encoder gets through one pass seemingly just fine, and then a little after halfway through encoding it stops (doesn't crash, just stops encoding any further) and crashes when attempting to stop the queue.
    It's a pain to export from After Effects and re drag in all the sequences, so our workflow keeps all exporting Premiere -> Media Encoder.
    EDIT: Can't believe I forgot to mention this- works fine exporting directly from a timeline in Premiere, it's only when Media Encoder is used that issues arise- but it's unfeasible to export 30 videos from the timeline.
    EDIT: Done some more testing over the course of the day.  I can add After Effects files to a AME queue and encode them with the Vimeo settings and it makes it through both passes, correctly exporting the videos.  It just doesn't work when those same compositions are exported as linked compositions in a Premiere Pro timeline.
    Some things I've tried with no success:
    Exporting the After Effects files separately does not work, it hangs even if only exporting the after effects segments.(20 seconds each).
    I've turned off CUDA and done software only, still hangs.
    I've tried dragging/adding from Media Encoder/any number of different workflows to get the sequences from Premiere to After Effects.
    I've tried exporting with different settings: (e.g. non Vimeo HD 720p 29.97), still hangs (doesn't even start encoding, doesn't get halfway).
    Any ideas?

    I experienced this at one point.  Searching the WEB I saw suggestions that there was a problem with a recent version of Quicktime.  (I have no idea why the quicktime player would have an impact.)  However, reverting to an earlier version of Quicktime fixed the problem.  Search this board using quicktime as a search phase.  The quicktime web site allows you to download the earlier versions.  I'm not at my editing machine, but I believe that I am at version 7.5.2.

  • With the latest flash update and on firefox 13 when I scroll on pages with youtube videos or other flash content it become corrupted.

    When I actually play the videos it's fine, the issue only occurs with still images. This doesn't show up with vimeo videos.

    This does not occur with other browsers with the latest flash update.
    The problem also shows up even with add-ons disabled and testing it with a new profile.
    Does anybody have an idea with how to fix this, or is it a problem on adobe's end?

    I've fixed the problem by installing the older version of Flash Player (v11.2.202.235).
    - First, download the uninstaller from [http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html here].
    - Close your browser(s).
    - Run uninstaller and remove flash player.
    - After the uninstall process, download and install the old version from [http://www.oldapps.com/flash_player.php here].
    Note: Download "Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 (Non-IE)" if you are using 32 bit OS
    Or
    Download "Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 (x64) (Non-IE)" for 64 bit OS.

  • JW Player or Vimeo

    I'm sorry if this question is misplaced, but I'm not sure where else to ask.
    I'm looking for advice from people that have embedded video with JW Player and with Vimeo (separately, not Vimeo within JW Player).  I currently have h.264/mp4 videos hosted on my server, embedded on my site using the JW Player.  I originally encoded them at 5 Mb/s, but some of the people i asked to test the download could not download smoothly.  I then tried 2.5 Mb/s and the "testers" on a wireless b/g connection couldn't keep up.  Of course I want the best possbile quality that each person's connection can handle.  So I'm wondering if would be best to either:
    A. Upload lower bitrate versions and install the JW Player "bitrate switching" code to adjust to their connections.
    B. Get a Vimeo Plus account and embed links from Vimeo.
    (YouTube is not an option because I want the videos to be viewable only in the password-protected area of my site.  And I personally have more technical trouble watching YouTube videos than Vimeo videos).
    For some reason I kinda don't trust the JW Player to handle more complicated coding (adding the bitrate switching parameters).  But that's mostly because I'm not a programmer by trade and may have trouble fixing any problems that pop up.  But if it worked, I could at least encode and upload any bitrates that I wanted.  I trust the Vimeo embedding to go more smoothly, but from what I can tell, Vimeo will only server the video at two rates--"HD" and "SD".  I can't find exactly what bitrates Vimeo is serving for each setting, but their "SD" quality seems like a big drop from their "HD" quality.
    Any insight can help.  Thanks.

  • Video plays out of sync with Flash version 11.6.602.180 in Firefox

    I've been receiving multiple reports that some videos plays out of sync with Vimeo's Flash player in Firefox, but not in other browsers (with the same version of Flash installed). Disabling/enabling hardware accelerated decoding does not seem to make a difference. Any ideas as to what might be causing this issue?

    This could be multiple issues, but the first thing that comes to mind is the protected mode feature in Flash Player for Firefox.  We've made significant improvements in our 11.7 beta and I'd recommend giving this a try:
    3/19/2013 - Flash Player 11.7.700.146 Beta
    If that doesn't help, or you can't update to the beta version, try the steps outlined in this post:
    How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
    In particular, I'd recommend temporarily disabling protected mode (for troubleshooting purposes only) to see if that addresses the issue.
    Thanks,
    Chris
