Faulty Sales order

A sales order was wrongly entered in the sales , and the billing has been done.
Now I have reversed the billing document and the order is not allowed to be deleted because of subsequent items.
Now the order I have given the reason for rejection. But still the order apperas in the report and Va05 how can I remove from the report.
please suggest.

    To deliver an Item you need to have a schedule line.
    In the Sales order, an Item can have one or more schedule line, but to be delivered atleast one schedule line must be there.
    During Sales order processing a 'requirement transfer" is sent to the "Materials planning " department for the schedule line ,which a communication between SD and MM department (SD-MM interfac).
    From this "Transfer of Requirement", Materials Planning comes to know,How much quantity of which material SD needs to deliver and on which date.
    Accordingly, they may go for Production or Procurement as applicable to make the goods available for SD to meet the schedule line.
    Schedule line contains the information about Delivery date, delivery quantity aswell as information about requirement transfer and goods movement.Schedule line is controlled by "Schedule line category".
    So, in the Schedule line category we configure, whether Tranfer of Requirement is relevant or not, beacuse all schedule lines are not relevant for Transfer of Requirement.
    For example,
    when we create a Standard order for a normal material, it has got a schedule line and its schedule line is relevant for "Requirement Transfer".
    But, when our faulty goods comes back from the customer, we create a Return order, which also has a schedule line so that the goods will come in, but this schedule line is not relevant for "Requirement Transfer".
    So, if you will go for the "Schedule line category in Return" (DN), you will find the Requirement transfer field is blank, beacuse when my faulty goods are coming back, why should I put a requirement to Materials planning.It is not relevant.
    I hope now you are clear about the relation of Schedule line and Requirement transfer.

    There is one scenario that faulty material from customer Co. get back by
    Return Order (RE), Then return Delivery --& post goods receipt, Of the sold material,
    Now co. (PP/QM) do rework Process (assemble, dismantle ...... whatever on the basis of return order) & make perfect material ok
    Now this stock PP/QM people put under RESERVE STOCK because it belongs to that particular customer
    Now I want to deliver that stock to that Particular customer,
    1) HOW CAN I DO?
    2) HOW CAN I PICK UP THAT ReserveMaterial while doing Sales Order/ delivery?
    Even though I maintain copy control from RE to OR & AvailabilityCheck?

    Hi Suresh,
    As and when you get a return order for repair, then you do the PGR and place that stock into a different storage location and you get that repaired and when you are doing PGI then fetch the stock from the same storage where you have placed the stock when you did the PGR.
    If you are having serial number concept that will help you to give the same piece which you have collected from the customer to return the same piece.
    We have implemented the system in the same way in our previous implementation.

    In a B2B/BOB web shop, when a product is entered into the sales order screen manually, does the system run a standard validation as to check if the product exists in the product catalog ? Is there any documentation on this kind of standard web shop behavior ?

    Where are you seeing the dump? There will not be any dump in the defaulttrace file when a wrong product is entered.
    ideally on the jsp it says check product number. this is the std behavior. Below error message will be shown
    At least one item is faulty; check faulty items before continuing. Go to first faulty item
    Product xyz was not found.

  • LSMW : Sales Order DI : Extend the stucture?

    Hello Friends,
    We are currently using Direct Input approach for LSMW Sales Order. It all working fine and SO is uploaded
    But there are some 20 odd fields which our clients wants to be uploaded from legacy system [eg MUEBS (Char Display), AUDAT [Which currently is sy-datum internally]....
    Now these fields are not present in BVBAKKOM, BVBAPKOM etc structures..
    Over this I have following doubts...
    1 If we want to extend the structure how should we go about it ?
    2. If we extend the structure then do we need to regenerate the LSMW program? How to do it ?
    Please consider my case as very urgent...

    This direct input program creates purchase orders using function modules. In a second step, program RM06EEI1 supplements these newly created POs with the purchase order history and the necessary accounting documents.
    Please note the following restrictions:
    The net price is based on one condition only (standard: PBXX): additional conditions (discounts, surcharges) are not supported
    Change documents cannot be compiled for the POs
    PO items with multiple account assignment cannot be transferred
    "Goods-receipt based" invoice verification is not supported
    The PO items may not relate to materials subject to split valuation
    Down payments and subsequent debits involving PO items are not possible
    Inbound deliveries are not transferred
    Subcontract orders, third-party orders, stock transport orders, service orders and release orders are not transferred
    The program reads a sequential file containing records of the structures MBEPOH (PO header) and MBEPOI (PO item), and generates purchase orders from them.
    The data is expected in the sequential file in the following order:
    For each PO header, a record of the structure MBEPOH,
    For each PO item, a record of the structure MBEPOI.
    All PO items up to the next PO header are assigned to the last-read PO header. Accordingly, the first record of the sequential file must be a PO header, whereas the last record of the file must be a PO item.
    For further information on the structure of the sequential file and on the expected field formats and contents, please refer to the Implementation Guide.
    For test purposes, you can use program RM06EEEX to generate a sequential file on the basis of POs that already exist in the system.

    Restarting at the existing sequential file is possible. The program recognizes that the PO in question is not to be added again by reference to the external PO number assigned by you.
    A database commit is initiated after each newly created purchase order.
    By means of the appropriate organizational measures, please ensure that the POs created via program RM06EEI0 are not changed manually before program RM06EEI1 has been run successfully. Inconsistencies cannot otherwise be ruled out.
    The program run-time depends largely on your installation, your organization structure, and the quantity structure of your master and transaction data.
    As a rough estimate, however, it can be assumed that approx. 4000 PO items per hour can be handled.
    The complete documentation on data transfer with regard to purchase orders is available in the SAP Library:

    You may have to use one file for this. Your structure would include all of the fields for both the header and detail.

    Hi All: I have been asked to create Backlog reports for Open Sales Orders and the revenue amounts for the next 15days, one month, 2 months, 3 months 6 months etc etc. Does anyone know of a standard report that covers that and the business content and cues that go with it?

    I haven't seen any standard content for it, with my client, we actually developed the open order report from Item extractor and status extractor. And compare the created on date to the system data to see how long it has been opened for and put it in different buckets.

  • Open sale order aging report

    Need a report on open order aging.  The open order means not delivered or partially delivered. Further with days range since its open or not fully delievered i.e. > 15 days or 15-30 days and so on.
    The standard transactions Va05 and VL10c can provide the list but dont provide any aging info.
    Kindly help in this.

    1. First in VA05 you can use Variants and get the report as desired by you,create one variant and use Filter along with greater then, less then (all are in selection option icon)
    This way you can create three variants.
    But limitation is dates has to be manually changed in variants each time.

    S_ALR_87014387 Display Document Flow
    S_ALR_87014392 Display Document Flow
    This reports will give you document flow run report with ticking checkbox for sales order,delivery and goods isse then after getting the list expand all (Shift+F12)
    you will get the quantities for sales order, and what is delivered and what is issued.
    3. As such if you want exactly the report you can take help of ABAP to create the ALV
    4. Report or create Queries in SQVI , or else create MCSI report

    As per SAP Standard, when the main Item quantity is changed, the Free Goods are redetermined. In this case any manual changes to Free Goods Quantities are lost.
    But your requirement is for restricting the Chages of the Quantity of Free Goods Correct?
    I believe there is no SAP standard solution for this. You will have to apply a User Exit, which will check the Item category of each LIne item & if it is free goods (TANN) then changes are not permitted.

    I have a user defined form field on sales order row level called = U_DEPFEEAMT
    1, I would like this field to get the value from a field on this sales order row level multiplied by what is in point 2 below. The details of field in point 1 is :
    Form=139, item=38, pane=1, column=10002117, and row=1
    2. The contents in field 1 should be multiplied  by a value coming from another user field linked to OITM master item.

    What should be the logic given to determine "open sales order qty" during designing a report.
    Note the criterias are as under:
    1) Open sales order qty is the confirmed qty less the delivery qty.
    2) The delivery qty should be delivery order qty (The delivery should not necessarily be pick, packed & PGI)

    sorry it doesn't work for services, since they do not create requirements.
    in this case you can use VBFA table, subracting all the delivered quantities VBFA-RFMNG with VBFA-VBTYP_N = J and VBFA-VBELV/VBFA-POSNV = to your order/item from the ordered quantities

    Hi SAP Group -
    I have a couple questions about the settlement of manufacturing variance to COPA.
    When our settlement process is complete (production order and sales order both settled to COPA), there is a balance remaining on the sales order cost report which is equal to the manufacturing variance on the production order.
    It seems that the manufacturing variance is posting from the production order to the sales order, but is not being assigned to the PSEG and flowing to COPA.
    I am looking for advice in two areas:
    First, how do we "clear" these balances on old orders that are already settled?
    Second, how do we prevent this from happening on future orders?

    If you don’t specify in the settlement profile for the production order that the variances are not transferred from the production order into CO-PA, you will settle the variances to <b>CO-PA twice</b>: once from the production order (broken down into variance categories), and once from the sales order item. The settlement rule still references the material and not the sales order item.

    You may want to check the period of the variance settlement from mfg order to sales order and ensure the settlement of sales order is also done the same period, if the type is PER.

  • Close Open sale order items

    Hi,
    We have a business scenario of one sales order --> one delivery document. Any items which have not been confirmed for delivery need to be closed out so that they do not show up as open requirements.
    One way is to reject the open line items. However, rejection reduces the original customer sales order value.
    Is there any other way that the open sales order line items can be changed in status so that the pricing is intact, but the item is closed out ?

    In standard itself this can be achieved
    In t code OVAG itself for your reason of rejection if you maintain BLANK in the statistical column
    Then those rejected values will not be reflected in sales order
    Suppose  a sales order contains three materials say
    Material A  qty 3 units
    Material B  qty 3 units
    Material C  qty 2 units
    Each and everything is priced as 10 US dollars
    then the nett value of this order will be 80 US dollars
    Suppose if you reject Material C  qty 2 units with a reason of rejection by maintaining the settings that i mentioned above the sales order value still Will  be  80 US dollars and will not become  60 US dollars
    This is what you are looking for (i hope so)

    To find out Open Sales Order. You shoud get them from VBUK-GBSTK <> 'C'. Store them in internal table.
    To get Ship-to-party, you can get it from VBPA (partner table).
    VBPA-VBELN = sales order number
    VBPA-POSNR = '000000'
    VBPA-PARVW = 'WE' or 'SH'
    You will get details for Ship to Party.

    I don't see a benefit from seeing statuses in a sales order.
    /AFS/MD04 is a stock/requirements list for the MRP conroller.
    It does a complete different calculation than ARUN or ATP.
    It will not help you to determine what can delivered.
    You can have orders in B status and still be able to allocate and deliver it.
    So explain your business requirements. What do you want to see?
