Yes, it's right, whenever we clear vendor or custmoer account, the system creates document, but as I remeber from other instalations, the document had header but there was no postings.
It case described, the system creates posting:
40 Vendor 20 EUR
50 Vendor 20 EUR
This is strange for me. As ther should be clearing document but with no postings.
Have you got any idea how to configure the system, so partial payment tab in clearing transactions creates clearing document but with no phisical postings.

Old reports / views should be deactivated (not to run)

Hi Experts,
We have set of reports in production which are not optimized for performance. So now we have created new set of reports and transported to production. Now we want to de-activate all old reports and views, so that business will run only new reports, by mistake also he can't run old reports.
Is there a way to update only DB tables or is there any other manual method available to de-activate or not to run old reports / views?

Hi Arun,
If you are sure that your user is not required the old reports in future, right thiing is to delete the reports.
Actually de activate concepts comes when any thing is used by your database(tables), if you are not using the report then there is no question of DB tables usage.

Document ID - Property field shows on item view property page after deactivating the Document ID Service features at Site Collection level

When a site collection was created, I enabled the Document ID feature at site collection level. Then some item was created in a document library as well as list libarary
Now it was decided that we dont want the Document ID feature so I disable the feature from Collection feature list
Still when a user view the property of a document it shows the Document ID property with the ID (when click on the ID it shows the message that

I would just remove the column from the view. You can make views for each list, it you look under the list by Clicking List while the list is open, you should see a link in the ribbon which say "Modify view" click this link.
This link will open the edit view page you can then uncheck the box for the column which will remove it form that view.

Theoretically. You should be able to go in and remove the columns from the document type, and then force an update.

Siri keeps popping open when I am trying to listen to voicemail messages. It won't play the voicemail and Siri continues to open every time I try and access the message. ?

Quite often when I access voicemail on my screen, I hit "Play" the message, Siri opens up. I try and close it down and hit play again and it keeps popping open.
I end up having to restart the entire phone. Any suggestions?
I am also noticing my voicemails are severly delayed in showing up as messages on my phone. Sometimes a few days later it will show i have a vm and when I listen to it, it was recorded 48 hours earlier. This is not consistent but intermittent.

Still a problem a year later: you tap Play on the VM, raise the phone, and Siri interrupts!
This bug really needs to be fixed! As soon as you tap the VM Play button, Siri should be deactivated! It works that way when you're on a call after all: I never have Siri interrupt the start of a call.
The bug is this: Siri DOES deactivate, but there's a delay: you have to wait a little after hitting Play before it becomes "Siri-safe." How long to wait? Wait too long and you miss the start of the message, or wonder whether you might have. Wait too little and Siri pops up--including making the Siri chime when your phone is on vibrate! (Nice way to get glares in a library.) This not a guessing game we should have to play.
Disabling Siri raise-to-speak entirely is workaround, but shouldn't be needed. I'd rather not give up that feature, flawed though it may be.

Help needed in activating and deactivating a window

In my GUI, I have created a window, that is having one textfield, one label and 2 buttons named "Enabled" & "Disabled" .
MY requirement is: After execution of the window when I will click "Disabled" button, the window should be deactivated, even I can't type in the textfield and then clicking the " Enabled" button the window should be activated, then I can access the textfield.
Here bellow,I have written the code for visibility of the window, but I haven't written code for the action to be performed by the 2 buttons.
Can anyof you please write me the updated code satisfying my requirement, sothat I'll proceed further.

I need to put a Validation such that transactions FB08 and FBRA should not execute if Document Type (BKPF-BLART) is 'P0'. I wrote the below validation at Line item level in OB28 but it is not working. Would appreciate if someone can tell me where i am going wrong.
Prerequiste:
SYST-TCODE = 'FB08' OR SYST-TCODE = 'FBRA'
Check:
BKPF-BLART (is not equal to) 'P0'
Message:
Error: Cannot reverse document type 'P0'

I think the problem lies in check statement. as the validation works when i change the check to
SYST-UNAME (is not equal to) 'My username'
Also,please keep in mind that Message is displayed only when pre-requiste is true and check is false.
Kash: The scenario is not to allow system to reverse any documents which are posted with doc. type P0.
Sanil K Bhandari: can you please elaborate, i checked the view VWTYGB01 in SM30 and Boolean Class 9 only has only one BKPF entry, and in that one field is '*'. What does this mean?

Activation & Deactivation of Condition type in Sales order

I have below requirement and need help on the same.
While creating or changing the sales order, if order qty is less than 5, we need to activate condition type 'ZD03' for pricing. if it is more than 5 it should be deactivated.

Deactivation after upgrading operating system

Hey does anyone know how to deactivate Photoshop CS5, AFTER you've updating you Mac operating system? In hindsight i guess i should have deactivated it before updating my operating system. But it's too late now so how can i deactivate the old one so that i can reinstall it afresh on my new operating system?

Yeah, I wouldn't have expected any problems with activating different versions of CS at once, like you have. That all seems logical. But in my case I'm just looking to activate the same version of CS on two macs simultaneously (far as I know, Adobe allows two simultaneous activations of any given licence).
Like you, I totally imagined the licence was related to the machine, hence me not deactivating it before upgrading my OSX. But it seems Adobe are saying the opposite; they're saying if you haven't deactivated it prior to upgrade your OSX, it still counts as one of your two activations. I don't get it. Anyway, hopefully adobe themselves will reply eventually and solve it.

Asper the code, I have created window1, that has a button "ok",clicking "ok", window2 appears.window2 has a "close" button.
So, the no. of times, I click the button "ok", the same no. of instances of window2 appears.But, I want after clicking the button "ok" in window1, window1 should be deactivated,and after clicking window2's "close" button, then window1 should be activated again.It means,only one instance of window2 should be visible,clicking the "ok" button.

Lightroom won't open on my mac

I am attempting to activate Lightroom on a mac. I've used it on this computer in the past and it suddenly stopped working. I deleted the file and installed the product again. The installation went through, but Lightroom won't open. I tried deactivating the product before deleting, but there was no option. What am I missing?

No. These t codes can be used for any account. With FBRA, you reset the clearing document (the document that cleared your original entry that has open item(s)). With FB08, you reverse a document. You cannot reverse the document directly with FB08 if the document contains at least one open item which is cleared OR if the document is sourced from another module (MM, SD, etc.). If the reversal is not possible due to open item(s) being there in the document that are already cleared, you first reset the clearing document using FBRA, and then you reverse the original document using FB08.

Refresh query when opening workbook is ticked automatically

Prior to Upgrade, the bex properties settings for "Refresh query when
opening workbook" was unticked(deactivated) and now after upgrade to BI
7.0 the bex properties "Refresh query when opening the workbook" is
ticked(activated).
Again, This has happened only to a particular strand.
Can anybody guide me on this. As a result of the above, all the work books are now refreshing automatically. This has affected hunderds of workbooks and we need to restore this back. Please help.

That is a local workbook setting. The setting is stored in the workbook on the sheet named SAPBEXqueries (see earlier postings on how to make this worksheet visible).
If there is only one query in the workbook, then look at at cell U4. This cell will read TRUE if the setting is check (do refresh on open) and will read FALSE if the setting is not checked (do not refresh on open).
One way to be sure that this setting is not altered would be to create a subroutine for the Workbook_BeforeClose event. The user then can make any selection they like, but you will over-ride it when they close the workbook.
