Fetching Characteristics of CLASS on MATNR using ATINN in CABN and AUSP

Hi All
I use the BAPI_OBJCL_GETCLASSES I get the class name for the material and from that I need to get the other details such as SALE_PRICE , TRANSLATION, REL_DATE, FORMAT, MARKET, TERRITORY etc,
I am getting these description in CABN from ATNAM. I was checking the FM CTMS_CHAR_VALUE_F4 and from that I get the no. of values in tables for the given field. If I pass ATINN for LANGUAGE to this FM , I get a no. of languages.
I would like to know how to get these details and using What FM.
The above FM is probably not work , as if I pass ATINN value for LANGUAGE then it gives me all the languages and an option button in the result set.
My requirement is ... I have MATNR (MARA) and I am getting it's class name and type using BAPI_OBJCL_LANGUAGE, but after that I need to get above details .
How do I work on tables AUSP / CABN to get those details ?
Amol

Amol,
To get the characteristic details  -  BAPI_CHARACT_GETDETAIL
To get the class details              -  BAPI_CLASS_GETDETAIL
To get the material classifcation details   -  BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL
Not sure what exactly are you looking for.
however, go to BAPI transaction and under classification you will three objects
Characteristic
Class
ObjectClassification
There are about 25 BAPI's between these three objects and I am sure between these BAPI's you will be able to get all the details you are looking for.

Ravi

  • Dynamic class loading problem using unknown JAR archive and directory names

I read the following article, which enlightened me a lot:
    Ted Neward: Understanding Class.forName().
However, it took me some while to understand that my problem is the other way around:
I know the name of the class, I know the name of the method,
but my program/JVM does not know where to load the classes from.
Shortly, my problem is that the server engine that I am writing
uses two different versions of the same library.
So I am trying out the following solution:
    My program is named TestClassPathMain.java
Assume the two libraries are named JAR1.jar and JAR2.jar
and the class/instance method that should
be exposed to TestClassPathMain.java by them is named
    TestClass1.testMethod().
As long as I was depending on just one library,
I put JAR1.jar in the classpath before starting java,
and I was happy for a while.
At the moment I got the need to use another version of
    TestClass1.testMethod() packaged in JAR2.jar,
a call would always access JAR1.jar's
    TestClass1.testMethod().
I then decided to remove JAR1.jar from the classpath,
and programmatically define two separate ClassLoaders, one for use
with JAR1.jar and the other for use with JAR2.jar.
However, the problem is only partly solved.
Please refer to the enclosed code for details.
(The code in the JAR1.jar/JAR2.jar is extremely simple,
it just tells (by hardcoding) the name of the jar it is packaged in
and instantiates another class packaged in the same jar using
the "new" operator and calls a method on it. I don't enclose it.)
    The TestClassPathMain.java/UC1.java/UC2.java code suite was
successfully compiled with an arbitrary of JAR1 or JAR2 in the classpath,
however removed from the classpath at runtime.
(I know that this could have been done (more elegantly...?) by producing an Interface,
but I think the main problem principle is still untouched by this potential lack of elegancy(?))
    1) This problem should not be unknown to you experts out there,
how is it generally and/or most elegantly solved?
The "*** UC2: Variant 2" is the solution I would like best, had it only worked.
    2) And why arent "*** UC2: Variant 2" and
    "*** static UC2: Variant 2" working,
while "*** Main: Variant 2" is?
    3) And a mal-apropos:
Why can't I catch the NoClassDefFoundError?
    The output:
    *** Main: Variant 1 JAR 1 ***:
    Entering TestClass1.testMethod() packaged in JAR1.jar

    2. i need to load the class to the same JVM (i.e. to
the same environment) of the current running
aplication, so that when the loaded class is run, it
would be able to invoke methods on it!!!
ClassLoader(s) do this. Try the URLClassLoader.
(I was talking about relatively esoteric "security"
issues when I mentioned the stuff about Class objects
"scope".) You might use the URLClassLoader kind of
    like this.
    Pseudo-code follows:
    // setup the class loader
    URL[] urls = new URL[1];
    urls[0] = new URL("/path/to/dynamic/classes");
    URLClassLoader ucl = new URLClassLoader(urls);
// load a class & use make an object with the default constructor
    Object tmp = ucl.loadClass("dynamic.class.name").newInstance();
// Cast the object to a know interface so that you can use it.
// This may be used to further determine which interface to cast
// the class to. Or it may simply be the interface to which all
// dynamic classes have to conform in your program.
    InterfaceImplementedByDynamicClass loadedObj =
(InterfaceImplementedByDynamicClass)tmp; It's really not as hard as it sounds, just write a little test of
this and you will see how it works.

  • From two given tables, how do you fetch the values from two columns using values from one column(get values from col.A if col.A is not null and get values from col.B if col.A is null)?

From two given tables, how do you fetch the values from two columns using values from one column(get values from col.A if col.A is not null and get values from col.B if col.A is null)?

    Hi,
    Use NVL or COALESCE:
    NVL (col_a, col_b)
Returns col_a if col_a is not NULL; otherwise, it returns col_b.
Col_a and col_b must have similar (if not identical) datatypes; for example, if col_a is a DATE, then col_b can be another DATE or it can be a TIMESTAMP, but it can't be a VARCHAR2.
For more about NVL and COALESCE, see the SQL Language manual: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e26088/functions119.htm#sthref1310
I hope this answers your question.
If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all tables involved, and also post the results you want from that data.
Explain, using specific examples, how you get those results from that data.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (e.g., 11.2.0.2.0).
    See the forum FAQ: https://forums.oracle.com/message/9362002

  • Fetching the sales order data using both system status and user status

    Hi,
Could any one tell me how to fetch sales orders using both system status and user status.
My requirement is to fetch sales order data in a report where the user enters the system status and user status in the selection screen fields.
For example i need sales orders where the system status is I1002 i.e. OPEN and user status is E0002 (status profile CMSCON0) that is In Process
    Early replies are appreciated.
    Thanks
    Tanveer

    Hi,
The system status and user status are stored in CRM_JCDS & CRM_JEST tables you can get the all the order GUID on particular status further pass the order GUID in table CRMD_ORDERADM_H to get transaction ID.
    Regards,
    Dipesh.

How can you use RpClean on an environment repository

Note also that your Name Server performances may be

    Sanchez,
    Try this simple escript:
    findactenv
    exportenv
    exit
Note that this will only export the active environments - no
    simulated
    environments will be exported.
It's also a good idea to rebuild your environment repository
    every now and
then. How often you do it depends partly on how many and how
    often you do
deployments, installations, or other changes to the environment.
    However,
once a month is not a bad starting point.

    Sanchez,
    Try this simple escript:
    findactenv
    exportenv

  • Using url with username and password in URL class

    Hi,
I'm writting an applet in which I use getAppletContext().showDocument with an URL.
The problem is that I'm using URLs with username and password (http://user:[email protected]/page) and it isn't working because the browser is getting the URL http://user/page.
Is this a bug in the URL class? Or in the showDocument method?
Is there any way to make this work?
    Thanks for any help,
    Pedro Prospero Luis ([email protected])

I'm not sure whether this is supported behaviour. I've had this syntax fail to work in the Netscape address bar so I can't recommend it as an approach for authentication.
If you want to authenticate the user before redirecting to the page, though, you could try creating a connection to another page on the same server and sending the authorization information then. Your browser may then be successfully authenticated.
See http://www.javaworld.com/javatips/jw-javatip47.html for information on this.
You might not need to read back the page from the server, just connect to it. Might work.

  • RE: Importing a class CEX file using TOOL

What exactly are you trying to do when you say "import"? I can think of
    two possibilities:
    1. You simply want to import the text of the file, in which case
you can use Forte's File class.
    2. You actually want to load the class definition and instantiate
an object based on that class. If so, you will need to deploy the class
in a library and use Forte's dynamic class loading and instanceAlloc().
This is well documented in the Forte manuals.

    Hello,
I don't know about any forte classes to do the job.
But, if it just automating the imports that you are concerned with
then you can accomplish it using fscript.
For eg. in UNIX machines you can write a shell script to go through
a directory, get all files with .cex extension and call fscript which
would open a workspace/repository and do an import plan.
    Hope this helps

    Hi Chris,
The goal that I want to achieve is this: at runtime, read a CEX file from
my filesystem and "import class" it into my workspace. It is equivalent to
invoking the menu item "Component,Import Class/Interface".
Basically I am generating hundreds of TOOL classes and I don't want to
manually import them myself. I am aware of the Forte Code generator, but
the classes I wish to generate are much too complex for the generator (I
want virtual attributes based upon NonKeyAttributes, with their own Set and
Get methods, as well as methods with changing/variable parameters -
something I believe that the generator cannot handle).
    Cheers,
    Geoff Whittington

What classes should I use to send/receive bytes inmediately? I mean, without using any buffers or whatever (I will implement this on my app), just the faster method.
Is InputStream/OutputStream the lowest level choice?
    Thanks!

    Hi!
Thank you very much for your help, I appreciate it a lot.
While I test my server, I execute ping www.myclienthost.com -t (my client games are in other office, in the same building, but different ISP) and I don't see anything strange, so I guess network is working perfectly. However, if I use wireshark (sniffer) and I see that my system fails (server does not send acks so client disconnects) is because my acks messages are not sended for 6 o 7 seconds (it should send them every 2 or 3). It seems thread is blocked. and after 6 or 7 seconds one message with 2 or 3 acks together is sent. So, I see that the thread handler blocked for a few seconds and this is doing my server is failing. Why client handler thread on my server is blocked? One question: every 2 or 3 seconds I have a thread that uses sleep that iterates thru client handlers and takes OutputStream and send one ack message for every client handler. My question is, in client handler class I have a method called SendInfo(String whatever) which encrypts and sends through OutputStream, should I protectd this method from accesing from two threads??? as acks thread and client thread can access at the same time. Could this be the problem??
EDIT: In my previous post I forgot to say what I found out with wireshark. Here I explain it. Sorry.
By the way, how can I debug threads?? I would like to know if my client thread is blocked in that critical moment.
Thanks a lot for your ideas and sorry for my English.

  • Which Event Classes i should use for finding good indexs and statistics for queries in SP.

    Dear all,
I am trying to use pro filer to create a trace,so that it can be used as workload in
"Database Engine Tuning Advisor" for optimization of one stored procedure.
Please tel me about the Event classes which i  should use in trace.
The stored proc contains three insert queries which insert data into a table variable,
Finally a select query is used on same table variable with one union of the same table variable, to generate a sequence for records based on certain condition of few columns.
There are three cases where i am using the above structure of the SP, so there are three SPS out of three , i will chose one based on their performance.
    1) There is only one table with three inserts which gets  into a table variable with a final sequence creation block.
    2) There are 15 tables with 45 inserts , which gets into a tabel variable with a final
    sequence creation block.
    3)
There are 3 tables with 9 inserts , which gets into a table variable with a final
    sequence creation block.
In all the above case number of record will be around 5 lacks.
Purpose is optimization of queries in SP
like which Event Classes i should use for finding good indexs and statistics for queries in SP.
    yours sincerely

"Database Engine Tuning Advisor" for optimization of one stored procedure.
Please tel me about the Event classes which i  should use in trace.
You can use the "Tuning" template to capture the workload to a trace file that can be used by the DETA.  See
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms190957(v=sql.105).aspx
If you are capturing the workload of a production server, I suggest you not do that directly from Profiler as that can impact server performance.  Instead, start/stop the Profiler Tuning template against a test server and then script the trace
definition (File-->Export-->Script Trace Definition).  You can then customize the script (e.g. file name) and run the script against the prod server to capture the workload to the specified file.  Stop and remove the trace after the workload
    is captured with sp_trace_setstatus:
DECLARE @TraceID int = <trace id returned by the trace create script>
    EXEC sp_trace_setstatus @TraceID, 0; --stop trace
    EXEC sp_trace_setstatus @TraceID, 2; --remove trace definition

  • Inner Classes - when to use with Swing?

    Hi again,
I was creating a GUI with JTabbedPane as content pane, while doing the single panes in the different tabs i started wondering about some design issues.
Lets say you have a pane that is composed of 3 "subpanes" ( containing all the interaction components ). Should i write "normal" classes for each of the subpanes or is it more reasonable to define them as inner classes of the "main" panel - thats at least what i thought because those 3 smaller panels are bound to the main panel for their lifetime...
Any design tips about inner classes and swing or even inner classes in general, id really appreciate.
    Thx

The concept of inner classes design in java is (I hope) they provide 'composite aggregation' relation with the contained class.
Means that the (inner) class cannot exists alone and provide functionalities like other classes. Inner classes refer to the "contains" relationship in the UML.
The other regular associations say, having a value oject model to an UI are Structural Aggregation, means that the value object can be used in the UI and also separately.
For your case the inner classes are not suitable. You may have to find a suitable mechanism to get the individual tab panes. Probably use an interface to bridge the three tab panes and use an manager class, pass and id to the manager class and get the required Tabbed pane.
    Thanks,

  • Wich function (class) could I use to create one pixel high object (frame)?

Hi guys, I need a pointer on a certatin line on the graphic screen. And I want it to be written in Java. I know how to make it to be "always on top" now, but AFAIK every applet or application is to be shown in a bordered window saying it is a Java object for security reasons. As I want it to be one pixel high, I apparently need to get rid of the frame border. Supposedly I have to switch off the security, but it's OK for me.
Wich function (class) do I use to create one pixel high object?
And one more thing. How do I generally show a graphic object of nonrectangular shape out of the bordered frame? Is there a way to do it without creating an transparent rectangular window/frame?

I didn't quite know what you mean, but how's this?

}I read in one blog (actually - the only page which was returned by yahoo - so - this should be very rare error!!!) to try to use Sun server's verifier.bat - and - it reported 0 errors and 0 warning. Build was succesfull as well and also - deployment was without errors - but - above mentioned error appeared during the automatic compilation of jsp pages/servlet when newly deployed jsps are first accessed from remote browser.
So - is it possible, please, to receive some advice - what to do further? I feel that my invoice.jsp page can be with errors, - however - the original welcomeJSF.jsp should be working without errors even the erronwous JFS jsp page is added to web application.
Thans for any adice or hint in advance!!!

OK - I have made 'clean and build main project' from NB menu and the deployed the resulting *.war and the error messages have disappeared... So - it seems to be bug...
