Fetching Sender Business sevice in UDF, returns null

Hi,
I have written a UDF to  extract sender service. Here is the code snippet
map = container.getTransformationParameters();
String senderService = (String) map.get("SenderService"); // Sender Business Service
//  some logic depending on sender service
As I could see the trace, senderService contains value null and hence UDF fails.
My scenario is Multiple IDocs to File
N:1 and thus using BPM
Any clue?
Thank you
Mugdha Kulkarni

Hi
Imports: java.util.Map;
public String GetService(Container container){
  //write your code here
String headerField;
java.util.Map map;
map = container.getTransformationParameters();
headerField = (String) map.get(StreamTransformationConstants.SENDER_SERVICE);
return headerField;

  • RisPort returns NULL in Response

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to write a little Java application that fetches information about phones currently registered on a CUCM 6.1 cluster.
    I've generated Java classes from the WSDL using AXL 1.4's WSDL2JAVA tool.
    The code below is using these classes to fetch phone information. My problem is that the response is giving just 0. getTotalDevicesFound() returns 0, getCmNodes() returns NULL.
    Any ideas?

  • GetConnectionURL returns null in Bluetooth Application

    Hi,
    I am trying to make my first steps with the JSR-82 API on mobile phones
    (Nokia 6680 and Sony Ericsson W800i). I have written a simple program
    (see code below), which is supposed to discover near-by devices, search
    for a given service (UUID) on a chosen (previously discovered) device
    (=server) and then to connect to the server and send a byte (n) to it. The
    server should then in turn send n+1 back. All this should be done using
    RFCOMM.
    The code works fine in the emulator as well as on two Nokia phones and
    on two SE phones. It further works, when using a Nokia phone as the
    server and a SE phone as the client. However, when using a SE as the
    client and a Nokia as the server, the call to getConnectionURL() returns
    null instead of a valid URL that can be used to set up the connection
    (you can find this piece of code in the ClientThread class). Can somebody
    explain me what I am doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Michael
    P.S.:At first I thought it might be a compatibility problem, but in the
    BluetoothDemo program that comes with WTK2.2 the correct URL ist
    returned by getConnectionURL() (have other problems with this example
    though, when it comes to download images, in particular...).

  • Request.getParameter("_ROWKEY") returns null in JDev 3.2

    My SubmitEditForm.jsp uses a bean which inherits from the EditCurrentRecord data web bean. In JDeveloper 3.1 'request.getParameter("ROWKEY")' in this JSP returns the rowkey for the record being edited, but in JDeveloper 3.2 'request.getParameter("_ROWKEY")' returns null. No modifications have bean made to the application - the working JDeveloper 3.1 app has only been compiled in JDeveloper 3.2. Can anyone help please?

    Hi,
    This exception is raised when the multipart/form-data parser has read the number of bytes specified by the Content-Length HTTP header, or tries to read past the end of the input stream, but has not parsed to the end of the message. As implied by the error text, this can happen for a couple of reasons.
    Although its unlikely, it is possible for a client to sent an incorrect Content-Length header. However, we've so far only seen this with a user-written HTTP client. We have yet to see a browser send the wrong value.
    The usual reason for this error is if a user hits the stop button while submitting a form. If the browser has already sent the HTTP header, including Content-Type, then the parser will try to read the entire message. However, this is going to fail, as the browser stops sending the request as soon as the stop button is pressed.
    Finally, there is one more possible reason for this error, and that is if the request is somehow being 'munged' in some way between the browser and the servlet container.
    To help us better understand what is happening here, can you supply
    the following information:
    - Does this problem happen consistently or occur only randomly?
    - When it does happen, is it repeatable, or does it go away if the user hits the submit button again?
    - Does it happen with certain HTML forms, any HTML form, or is it specific to the data entered into a pariticular form?
    - Does it happen with any browser, or a specific version and/or implementation?
    - What is your network configuration? For example, does the problem occur only when going through a proxy server or fire wall.
    - Does it depend on network load? For example, does it happen only at heavy load times?
    - What is you web server configuration, on what platform are you running it, and what JDK version are you using?
    As I'm writing this, the TAR system is down for upgrades - my apologies if you've already supplied this information.
    Regards,

  • I am trying to raise event at UserControl, and catch it at Main program, But the event always return null

    I am trying to raise a event in one of classes of userControl, and Fire it in the Main class. I tried two different ways to fire this event, one of them works, But I still want to know why other way cannot work, and how to fix it.
    My userContol class:
    public partial class UserControl1 : UserControl
    public UserControl1()
    InitializeComponent();
    if (System.ComponentModel.DesignerProperties.GetIsInDesignMode(this))
    return;
    Class1 c = new Class1();
    Thread accept = new Thread(
    () =>
    c.connection();
    accept.Start();
    And the Class1:
    public class Class1
    public delegate void myhandler(object sender, EventArgs e);
    public event myhandler test;
    public Class1()
    public void connection()
    test(this, new EventArgs());
    In the Main, I just simply add into referent, and add
    xmlns:my="clr-namespace:WpfControlLibrary1;assembly=WpfControlLibrary1"
    then I try to subscribe this event in the main
    public partial class SurfaceWindow1 : SurfaceWindow
    /// <summary>
    /// Default constructor.
    /// </summary>
    public SurfaceWindow1()
    InitializeComponent();
    Class1 c = new Class1();
    c.test+=new Class1.myhandler(c_test);
    // Add handlers for window availability events
    AddWindowAvailabilityHandlers();
    public void c_test(object sender, EventArgs e)
    MessageBox.Show("fire");
    If I only raise this event not into thread, it works fine, but If I try to let it raise in this thread, this test event only return null, and shows:
    Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    looks like I did not subscribe it ever. So How to fix it if I must use it in thread.

    Subscribing to events window to class is not a great approach.
    You have to then go un subscribe those handlers in order to allow your instance to be disposed.
    Forget that and you'll eventually notice you have memory leaks.
    The way I do this sort of thing is using mvvm light messenger.
    You can keep everything decoupled then.
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/26070.aspx
    I just did a bit of code for someone else which shows how to do cross thread stuff with this approach.
    public partial class MainWindow : Window
    public MainWindow()
    InitializeComponent();
    Messenger.Default.Register<String>(this, (action) => ReceiveString(action));
    private void ReceiveString(string msg)
    MessageBox.Show(msg);
    Dispatcher.BeginInvoke((Action)delegate()
    tb.Text = msg;
    private void Button_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
    Task.Factory.StartNew(() => {
    Messenger.Default.Send<String>("Hello World");
    Note that the message arrives on the thread it was sent from. That's not the ui thread because it was sent from that task.factory.startnew to deliberately put it on a different thread.
    In order to change UI controls, it uses dispatcher.begininvoke to run code on the UI thread.
    Although this is in one piece of code behind publisher and subscriber can be in two totally different classes which have no reference of knowledge of each other.
    Meaning you can send a message<t> from any class1 or whatever you like and your mainwindow can subscribe and act of receipt of a message<t>.
    It is the type which defines which message one is. You put data you want to send in t and use it in the subscriber.
    Hope that helps.

  • How does ABAP client proxy determine the sender business system

    When we use ABAP client proxy to send a message in XI-SOAP format to the integration engine, how does the client proxy determine what is the sender business system, i.e. how does it know what value it should insert in the sender service field in the SOAP envelop.
    For example, at first, the business system X8A_105 corresponds to the technical system X8A_105, so when the client proxy sends out a message, the sender service is X8A_105. Then I delete the business system X8A_105 in the SLD, and create a new business system that is associated with the technical system X8A_105.when the client proxy sends out a message, the sender_service is still X8A_105, why?

    Hi Annie,
    Execute the following function module in your business system and see what name it returns..
    LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM.
    You can always debug the code inside the above FM to find out how it gets the business system name...
    I think the issue should be related to cache. I would also suggest you to logoff from your business system and then login again.
    Regards,
    Sumit

  • Call thirty party java web service but always return null

    hi
    I call a java web service in my application visual studio 2008 c#, but always return NULL.
    I used Tool Fiddler to monitor the traffic between my client and the web service server, it showed the return is not Null.
    Here is my code, please see if anything I do wrong.

    Hi;
    I used Fiddler to monitor the process, and it showed the request sent thru web service worked and returned a value, but in my .Net application the return captured as NULL. Could you please look into the code above and the result from Filddler and see if
    you can help.
    thank you.

  • Graphics returning null in one place, but not another.

    If you want to compile and run my program.... you can get all the files here:
    http://s94182144.onlinehome.us/randomstuff/files.zip
    (The main classes you'll need to look at are DrawingCanvas, Trig and GraphEngine)
    Here's a visual just in case:
    http://s94182144.onlinehome.us/randomstuff/graph.jpg
    When I click the "Graph It" button, I'm sending all those variables in the window to another class. Except the method I need to call is passed Graphics g... and thus, I needed to create a graphics variable. But it's returning null.
    Here is my code in GraphEngine, which runs when a button is clicked. You'll notice for Graph It... I created a Graphics variable... this returns null. Except you'll also notice I do the same thing for "Clear"... but this works.
    NOTE: I was getting mad so I named some methods not so nicely :p .... you may notice they are different in my files.
         public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
              userDisplay=e.getActionCommand();
              if(userDisplay.equals("Draw"))
                   String progChoice=grapher.graphType.getSelectedItem();
                   System.out.println(progChoice);
                   if(progChoice.equals("Lines"))
                        grapher.allButtons[0].enable();
                        draw();
                   else if(progChoice.equals("Scatter Plot"))
                        lineOfBestFit();
              else if(userDisplay.equals("Graph It"))
                   Trig.graphThisStuff();
                   Graphics g = canvas.getGraphics();
                   canvas.trig(g);
               else if(userDisplay.equals("Clear"))
                    Graphics g = canvas.getGraphics();
                   System.out.println(g);
                    canvas.clear(g);
            else if(userDisplay.equals("Reset"))
                Trig.restartThis();
              else if(userDisplay.equals("Credits"))
                showInstructionsFrame();
            else if(userDisplay.equals("Help"))
                showHelpFrame();
            else if(userDisplay.equals("Create Sinusodial Graph"))
                showTrigFrame();

    1. Do you expect forum members to download and unzip your code? Good luck...
    2. Inside almost every "big" problem is a small one trying to get out. Write a minimal program
    demonstrating your problem (say <50 lines) and post that. The shorter code and the easier it
    is to copy, paste and run, the more forum members will actually give it a go.
    That being said, you problem is that you are using Component's getGraphics at all. Don't use it.
    It doesn't work very well -- they rendering you do is temporary, if you iconify and restore your
    window your changes will disappear (sometimes even moving another window past yours will do this!).
    What should you do instead? Put all your rendering code in paintComponent (or subroutines
    it calls). Changes in state of your app should trigger a call to repaint (or you will call it directly).
    Repainting will eventually cause your paintComponent to be called.

  • The result of a direct action returned NULL/nil.

    I'm new to Macs so please bear with me. I've been tasked with setting up a new iMac (20 inch display - totally stock - bought on Saturday.) After plugging it in and started running through the registration, setting up the wireless access then it looked like the setup was doing something with the camera suddenly it flashed to the following message:
    "the result of a direct action returned NULL/nil." the Continue and Back buttons at the bottom of the page were dimmed out. The only thing I could do was reboot the computer.
    Is there any way to restart the "setup sequence" - as if I just plugged it in and turned it on for the first time? Have I missed anything in the setup because of this error? Anyone know why this happened? I've tried to search on this topic but couldn't find anything. If I've missed something please direct me to the appropriate link.
    Thanks.
    20 inch iMac 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    Go to ~user/Library/Assistants and double click the file Send Registration.setup and it should relaunch the Mac OS X Setup Assistant.

    When I do a fetch from a cursor in my for loop and the cursor returns no record my variable 'r_item' keeps the value of the previous fetched record. Shouldn't it contain null if no record is found and I do a fetch after I closed and opend the cursor? Is there a way the clear the variable before each fetch?
    Below you find an example code
    CURSOR c_item (itm_id NUMBER) IS
    SELECT DISTINCT col1 from table1
    WHERE id = itm_id;
    r_item  c_item%ROWTYPE;
    FOR r_get_items IN c_get_items LOOP
      IF r_get_items.ENABLE = 'N' THEN
          open c_item(r_get_items.ITMID);
          fetch c_item into r_item;
          close c_item;
          IF  r_item.ACCES = 'E' then
               action1
          ELSE
               action2
          END IF;
      END IF;
    END LOOP;  Thanx

    DECLARE
        CURSOR c_dept IS
          SELECT d.deptno
          ,      d.dname
          ,      d.loc
          ,      CURSOR (SELECT empno
                         ,      ename
                         ,      job
                         ,      hiredate
                         FROM   emp e
                         WHERE  e.deptno = d.deptno)
          FROM   dept d;
        TYPE refcursor IS REF CURSOR;
        emps refcursor;
        deptno dept.deptno%TYPE;
        dname dept.dname%TYPE;
        empno emp.empno%TYPE;
        ename emp.ename%TYPE;
        job emp.job%TYPE;
        hiredate emp.hiredate%TYPE;
        loc dept.loc%TYPE;
    BEGIN
       OPEN c_dept;
       LOOP
         FETCH c_dept INTO deptno, dname, loc, emps;
         EXIT WHEN c_dept%NOTFOUND;

  • Web Service Operation returns null values

    I got a Flash program that uses a Web Service.  I linked the actionscript to the Flex Files to get my connection to work.  I got it to work fine, but the problem is with sending it parameters.  This only works on functions without parameters.  But when I try to pass parameters, it returns null.  I also tried using the argruments function, but that caused it to return error.  What do I do to make it work?  Here is my code below:
    stop();
    import flash.display.MovieClip;
    import flash.events.MouseEvent;
    import mx.rpc.soap.*;
    import mx.rpc.events.*;
    import mx.rpc.AbstractOperation;
    import flash.events.Event;
    import flash.utils.Timer;
    var webService:WebService = new WebService();
    webService.wsdl = "http://www.askent.com/ttcs.asmx?WSDL";
    webService.loadWSDL();
    var serviceOperation:AbstractOperation;
    /*var loginTimer: Timer = new Timer(1000, 1);
    loginTimer.start();*/
    var loginOperation: AbstractOperation;
    var nickname:String;
    var token:String = "token";
    var gameName:String = "CRAZ";
    //loginTimer.addEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, SetupWebService);
    signin_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, login);
    /*function SetupWebService(event: TimerEvent):void{
              webService.loadWSDL("http://www.askent.com/ttcs.asmx?WSDL");
              webService.addEventListener(LoadEvent.LOAD, BuildServiceRequest);
    function BuildServiceRequest(evt:LoadEvent){
              /*loginOperation = webService.getOperation("GuestLogin");
              loginOperation.send(nickname, token, gameName);
              //nickname = name_input.text;
              loginOperation.addEventListener(FaultEvent.FAULT, DisplayError);
              loginOperation.addEventListener(ResultEvent.RESULT, DisplayResult);*/
              trace("connected");
    function login(event: MouseEvent): void{
              loginOperation = webService.getOperation("GuestLogin");
              //nickname = name_input.text;
              loginOperation.addEventListener(FaultEvent.FAULT, DisplayError);
              loginOperation.addEventListener(ResultEvent.RESULT, DisplayResult);
              //loginOperation({Nickname: nickname, Token: token, GameName: gameName});
              //loginOperation.arguments = {nickname: "GGG", Token: "token", GameName: "gameName"};
              loginOperation.send([nickname, token, gameName]);
    function DisplayError(evt:FaultEvent){
                                  trace("error");
    function DisplayResult(evt:ResultEvent)
              var wsdlResponse:String = evt.result as String;
              trace(wsdlResponse);
    function sendLogin(nickname: String, token: String, gameName: String): String{
              return nickname + token + gameName;

    Shay,
    The link worked. I generated Java Web Service from my WSDL, and tested using the HTTP analyzer
    But for get Operation method on the WSDL, I could not see anything in the response object, but the same operation i could see the output in soapUIPro.
    Can you give me some more guildelines to debug...
    Thanks,
    Sri

  • BufferedReader readLine() not returning null

    I'm trying write an SMTP client using Socket.
    I'm sending EHLO command to the SMTP server is is returning multiline response. When I tried to read this multiline response using the BufferedReader in a while loop, it is never returning null.
    Following is my code snippet
    while(true)
                    data=reader.readLine();
                    multilineData +=data+"\r\n";
                    if(data==null )
                        break;
                    }why it is not returning?

    I have written debug statements.
    It is printing the following lines and it still expecting something from the server even though server has finished sending all the response.
    250-mail.merakdemo.com Hello <hostname>, pleased to meet you.

    250 HELP
    This is the end of response from server.
    And even I tried to break the while loop by checking the "HELP" String in the response. It is breaking the loop, but it is never returning the control.
    Following is the Code snippet:
    private String pullMultilineData(BufferedReader reader) throws CommunicationException
           String multilineData="";
           String data="";
            try
                while(true)

                    multilineData +=data+"\r\n";
                    // as per SMTP Protocol last line is without "-"
                    if(data==null || data.equals("") || data.indexOf("-")==-1)
                                        break;
                   logger.log(Level.DEBUG, "Data: "+data);
            catch(IOException ioe)

  • GetContextURL returns null using the default ECM repository

    Hello experts,
    This is the scenario.
    We are using the SAP ECM repositoy for document storage in our BPM proyect. In this case we are using the default configuration and repository location  (ecm/default  and DefaultUser), but after the upload, when i try to get the document URL with the method getContentURL(), returns null.
    The ECM documentarion saids than this condition is expected when using a third party repostiory, but this is not the case.
    I appreciate a lot your advices and recomendations,
    Best regards!
    Julio C. Leyva

    Hi Vasil,
    We didn't resolve this issue by this method, because we are using the default ECM repository witch doesn't support the operation getContextURL() and gets the "null" result. If you are using a different repository maybe works.
    Re-checking the API specification, saids:
    getContentURL
    java.lang.String getContentURL() throws InvalidStateException, RepositoryException  Returns a URL that can be used to retrieve the content directly from the respective backend, thus bypassing ECM. Note that this URL might have several restrictions which depend on the connector's backend store, such as a limited lifetime or requiring a user to authenticate with different credentials than the ones used to connect to ECM. Other stores might provide no content URL at all, in which case this method returns null. Applications might want to consider utilizing the ECM WebDAV server to present their users a URL that is located on the same system as ECM.
    Finally, you would consider to expose a webservice (EJB Session Bean) witch encapsulates the ECMI implementation and extract your file content as a binary array (encode/decode), sending as the input your path/fileName for lookup in the ECM repository.
    Regards!

  • DispCache appears to be corrupt. getDispFile() returned null

    Hi all,
    I am deploying web services in production mode on Solaris 8 and Win2K. I get identical
    errors when I invoke the web service from a Java client: "DispCache appears to
    be corrupt. getDispFile() returned null"
    The complete stack trace is posted below.
    The web services work perfectly fine when I use Workshop to deploy within its
    environment.
    WebLogic version 7.0.4.0. Used jwsCompile tool separately on Win2K and Solaris
    to package the ear file to remove any platform dependencies (I noticed while debugging
    the problem that the EJBs generated by the jwsCompile hardcodes the ProjectPath
    and LoaderPath in the deployment descriptor, weird and totally unncessary).
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Once thing I noticed that WebLogic's web service solution is overly complex to
    deploy in production once developed using Workshop. There is no way in hell I
    can debug this problem, hey it never occurs in the Workshop and there is no other
    debug environment!

    Sanjay,
    Would it be possible for you to send us your application, so that we can
    reproduce the error here. Let me know if you are unable to post on a public
    newsgroup, and we can take it offline.
    I would also suggest you to try using version 8.1, because it offers loads
    of features that make web services development a much more richer and easier
    experience.
    Regards,
    Anurag
