Scheduling is basically a process which system users to comfirm whether a particular material could be delivered with in required delivery date. system by default is set to do backward scheduling first, if the confirmed delivery date falls beyound material availability date then syetm does forward scheduling to determine the Confirmed delivery date and system gives the new confirmed delivery date. system takes into account the following for scheduling:
a. Order Date
b. Material Availability date
c. trasnportation planning date
d. Loading Date
e. Goods issue date
f. Required delivery date

4. TAD: Service Item
TAD gets determined based on Sales doc type + Item category group {OR + LEIS (Service Item category group)}
TAX : Non Stock item and gets determined based on Sales doc type + Item category group {OR + NLAG (Non stock material Item category group)}
Item category gets determined in sales document based on 4 standard rules:
sales doc type  + item category group + useage + higher level item category.
& we use item cagetory group in material master - sales org1 view.
5. LEIS - is a item category group for service items, and this might have delivery also
DIEN - is a Item category group for serivce items without delivery
6. KB, KE, KA & KR are document types which are used in Consignment scenario
KB - Consignment Fill up
KE - Consignment  Issue
KA- Consignment  Pick up
KR - Consignment  returns
And you have billing in only 2 of consignment scenarios i.e., Issue and returns and usually we use Billing type F2.

7. S1 / s2 etc are basically Cancellation Billing type. We create invoice using F2 and this is cancelled using Cancellation Billing type S1. This canbe configure din VOFA - Billing ytpe Config (SPRO)
8. Picking Location determination: Is a STandard determination and this works on Standard rules:
Shipping Point + Lant & storage Condition (this data is given in Material Master - Plant / storage View 1)
We know that a particulat material is kept in a particular bin and we can pick up but to map tihis activity in sap we use Picking Location determination.
9. Schedule line is bascially has infromation related to Shipping & procurement and this is a part of Sales document structure.This is controlled by Schedule line category and this is again a standard determination and gets determinesd on Item catgeory + MRP type.Any where you need to deliver a material you should have information about when the material woudl be delivered etca nd this is stored in Schedlue line.

10.Contract is agreement between a company and sold-to-party. you have 2 types of contracts - value contract and quantity contract. go thr below link:

11. with ref to contract you create a sales orders and these sales orders which are created with ref to contract within the validity period of contract are called as Release orders.
12. NMS / WK1 / WK2 etc are document types for Contracts: go to VA41
WK1 - general value contract
WK2 - material value contract
GK - Master Contract
Master Contract:
The master contract is a document under which you can group contracts as lower level contracts. It contains the general terms which apply for all the lower level contracts over a specified period.
Use
You group contracts as lower level contracts under a master contract to ensure that
The terms in the master contract are granted in all the lower level contracts
The data in all lower level contracts remains consistent
You can group the following documents under a master contract:
Quantity contracts
Value contracts
Service contracts
The link between the master and lower level contracts is controlled by the referencing procedure which is assigned to the master contract type in Customizing. The referencing procedure determines which data is copied from the master contract into the lower level contracts
Structure
A master contract contains header data only. In the master contract, you can record:
Business data
Partner data
Contract data
Billing plan data
On the overview screen of the master contract, there is a list of all the lower level contracts which refer to it. You can branch from this list into the individual contracts.

  • Few issues with BI 2004s

    Hello there,
    I am having few issues with BI 2004s system. It’s a new implementation.
    -         When you create Data source using DB connect in new system, it creates with old version. I could see the SMALL square box next to the Data source. I would expect the system to generate new 2004s datasource.
    -         Obviously the generated D/S won’t allow us to create New Transformations. We have to create old transfer rules/update rule. I do see the option to migrate the D/S when I right click on it. But I get short dump when I try that and then you have to discard the D/S and create new one.
    -         Also, it won’t allow you to delete the DBConnect D/S although you have option to do that?
    Anyone has faced these issues?
    Performance issue with reporting:
    I understand that you have to have portal in order to execute reports which we don’t have at this client. They don’t have time and money to invest right now. So we have created reports using BW 3.5 BEx Q.designer/WAD to run the reports on web. The report takes long time when you try to drill down on Material/Customer with only 150,000 records in Cube. The cube has just three dimensions (two char each) and 4 key figures. Any suggestion to improve?

    Yes, I noticed it too and was thinking the same thing, blueaura.
    I'm sure they want to ensure the scan is reliable. I keep my screen at a lower brightness to save power, and sometimes Starbucks scanners take a bit longer for it to register.
    2) is already fixed.
    3) is a feature, not a bug. If you are updating an app you already have installed, it doesn't bother to ask you for the password. Nice!
    For Google maps, just use maps.google.com in the browser.

  • I've a few issues, my old computer was out of memory and i changed to a new one which was already on another itunes account.  When i upgraded to os5 my library has gone it has synced with the new computer - how do i restore the old ipad information?  ple

    I've a few issues, my old computer was out of memory.  I changed to a new one which already had another itunes account (for my business)  when i upgraded to os5 my library has dissappeared as it has syncd with the new computer.  Is there any way i can restore the information previously from my ipad?  really appreciate any advice thanx in advance

    If you still have the old computer, you should be able to connect the iPad, run iTunes and restore from a backup from a previous sync.  Now that you have it updated, you will not need to do that again.

  • Indesign CS6 - 8.0 on iMac 10.9.1, a few issues that may be connected, Shutting down & PDF Issues

    Indesign CS6 - 8.0 on iMac 10.9.1, I have a few issues that may be connected:
    1. My computer shuts down goes to a black screen then restarts on its own.
    2. My InDesign will crash when I am working and there doesn't seem to be a pattern it just happens sometimes.
    3. I have an InDesign file that all of a sudden now takes 30-40mins to PDF 50 pages, I think there may be an issue with fonts but I am not sure, none of the other files take this long.

    Thank you so much for responding Bob, I tried to update but when I tired I get a message "Contact Administrator if you wish to apply updates on your machine, Updates have been suppressed by the administrator...". I actually have admin rights and I called in my IT guy, he could not get it to update. The Application Manager says I have all current updates. Am I suppoes to update using "AdobePatchInstaller"? Is there a manual way?

  • Screen on 20" Imac...a few issues

    Hi,
    I see a number of notes about screen issues on 20" new intel iMac...I've had few issues so thought I start a new thread...First, I had the buzzing when brightness was all or most all the way up...Brought it into a authorized Mac repair place and they replaced the video (inverter or card or?)as well as the screen...not sure why they replaced the screen honestly...Now I've noticed a few new issues. I first noticed that my desktop background was visible, a little dimmer but visible, on the top apple bar that should be just white with black menu items...And I have also noticed some rainbow color effects on some black type that really is disturbing as I do a lot of Word processing, depending on the angle this is better or worse or the black type appears a little blurred on some letters...Since then, I've read about 'gradient' problems and many complaints with the 20" monitors...I didn't take any notice of gradient issues, but now have looked a little closer and do notice big color changes if I am looking at screen from slight off center angles--where white goes to blue (up and down) or white goes to brown. (right and left). So after owning many macs over the past 15 years, I've never been disappointed with a screen, but surely am now...I have a mac mini with an inexpensive 19" lcd screen (Princeton brand) that doesn't have any such color changes at all...I was too late to call Apple tonight but will in the morning...Wonder if any folks have any suggestions/ideas...Honest, I'm curious if I can return or get a trade on this if the problem is widespread....Will Apple take a return...and is it better to bring to Apple Store, or to mail to Apple...I had brought it to a local reseller as the nearest Apple store is over an hour away...Thanks for any guidance.

    Hello rickame, I've got the fix for your issue with the Menu Bar, goto System Preferences then Desktop & Screen Saver, at the bottom you will see a checkbox for Translucent Menu Bar, unclick it and you will have a solid Bar. Sorry but I dont have a fix for the Screen gradient problem, I have the 20" iMac and love the display myself (coming from a 15" dell display, you can see where I'm coming from).

  • Lenovo G560 few issues

    Hello to all Archers! I have few issues with my lenovo g560.
    First of all, when browsing for example, the X suddenly freezes and dunno why... just freezes... The only thing that i can do is the force reboot...
    2. i have a mute led button which shine all the time, but the sound isn't muted. How can i fix this?
    3. My integrated mic is not found by alsa. Fix for this?

    I got same notebook: with i3, gf310M. So:
    1) Same problem here. I've discovered that when you disable desktop compozition X is not freezeing. In my system X freezes mostly when I'm resizing windows
    2) Where's mute button?
    3) add to /etc/modprobe.conf:
    options snd-hda-intel model=asus
    options snd-hda-intel probe_mask=0xffff,0xfff2
    firs line set's alsa to work with conexant codec and second disables nvidia hdmi sound. after that open gstreamer-properties(part of gnome-media) and select proper mic

  • Few issues with N120

    I got a few issues with the N120 netbook that I hope you could help me to sort out.
    1.
    First the brightness up/down keys. First I gave this fix a go.

    It works but its very unstable for me, sometimes it will get stuck and just turn the screen all the way down and then hang for some time before being able to turn the light back on. The icon will hang on the desktop too. Beside that it occasionally makes gnome panel freeze or really most of the time.
    Then I gave .xbindkeysrc a try from the NC10 wiki.

    Other then these few issues all really seems to work really well. I have only had Arch installed for a week or so (not a lot of time on my hands atm though) but sorting these issues would would make it a 100% for me.

    It uses notify-osd and displays the bar/icon.  If the icon is missing, you will have to copy the notification-* svg files over from the human icon theme.  Just in case you'd like it.
    Depends what you want to do with the wireless.  You can just bring the interface down with
    sudo ifconfig wlan0 down
    Or else you can remove the module with
    sudo modprobe -r <module>

  • New iMac, few issues

    Hello All.
    I've just purchased a new iMac and I'm having a few issues with it, I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can fix them, I've tried doing all of the latest software updates but the issues still prevail.
    1) CMD+TAB
    When I use CMD+TAB about 70% of the time, the Application Switcher doesn't show, but it switches Applications successfully.
    When the Application Switcher does show; half of the time only some of the Applications I have open are visible, if I CMD+TAB again straight after a different random selection of Applications are shown.
    2) Quick Look.
    If I use space to quicklook in the Finder, I can never close the window, neither the X icon or hitting space again will close it.
    3) Displays Control Panel.
    Won't open, the title bar says 'Loading Displays..' but it just freezes.
    4) Photoshop CS5
    Very unstable (have updated to newest version).
    5) Random finder stuff
    Sometimes Finder windows just go white, completely blank, I can still drag them around and right click them and the correct contextual menu comes up for that part of the window but it is still white.
    There are lots of other things too, these are the most annoying so I've kept it to the most annoying, especially the CTRL+TAB thing.

    You can take it to any Authorized Apple Service center. But if you have an actual Apple Store handy, that would be far preferable.

  • AC 5.95 few issues

    Hi,
    After a while using new AC v5.95 I've noticed few issues with it:
    a) veeeery slow response when I click AC icon in tray to select my connection. Sometimes it takes like 30 sec to show menu, often freezes for a minute or two after menu is showed
    b) wireless speed is inaccurate. In my case it shows 54mps and when I check in windows network and sharing center it shows 300mps. 3rd party wifi test application also detects 300mps speed (I'm using AES WPA2 and 802.11n)
    c) one of my connection profiles has DHCP enabled and whenever I switch from that connection to one with static IP (or just disconnect from it) my LAN adapter is not disabled (on all others it is)
    I tried to reinstall but it didn't help. My OS is Windows x64 Enterprise on Thinkpad T520 4242-D25 with Centrino Ultimate-N 6300AGN wireless card.

  • New MBP and a few issues

    MPB6,2 purchased mid Dec 2010, 15" mat screen upgrade, i5 2.4GHz, 320GB, 4GB ram US kb.
    I received it with 10.6.5 on it and updated it to 10.6.6 recently, although these behaviours happened before the update, but didn't really identify them enough as I am still discovering the machine bit by bit.
    1st/ Keyboard.
    I found that if I am resting on the back of my chair, a lots of light is sipping through the under/around of the keys, which blinds me. Like looking str8 into the bulbs, which is very distracting as it is brighter than the screen. Is my keyboard popping out too much and is the design supposed to have the KB touches sinking into the holes. I know the intensity can be adjusted but even at minimum it is still of great contrast between over the kb and seeing it from a sharp angle.
    2nd/ Finder:
    I find Finder slow to populate in column mode. It takes sometime more than a second. I disabled 'Spring loaded folder' and though it did the trick, but it hasn't fully. It tend to happen when I have a few browsers up and a few applications opened all at once.
    3rd/ Flash pluggin?:
    I have been experiencing some difficulties which I attribute to Flash player plugin, although not sure.
    It happen regularly at random, and can't really reproduce it. But often in Safari, streaming content in fullscreen mode, all stop and all become unresponsive. The BeachBall takes a while to come up too.
    Can't escape full screen, can't switch application (command+tab). Then after 10s to 15s, finally Safari comes out of full screen, but the top menu bar, takes quite a few more seconds to appear again. It has happen many times.
    Even when not stuck escaping full screen always takes a bit of time and the top menu bar takes a while to appear.
    while I am in Safari.
    I also have GlimmerBlocker installed from recommendation here. I am wondering if this one is not slowing down communications with the outside world.
    4th/ mouse
    I also have experienced some issues with the mouse. Not 100% sure yet how many.

    First for the easy question: Unlike Windows, most Mac programs don't quit when you close the last window. File>Quit or the keyboard shortcut Command Q to quit a program.
    As for the locking up problem: there's too little to go on at the moment. If the only program that's freezing is Safari the problem may well be limited to that program, perhaps an extension or plug-in is the problem. If the lock up problem extends beyond Safari you might try creating a new user account and see if the problem follows you into that new account.

  • Just Switched To  Mac's and Need Help With A Few Issues!

    Hi All,
    I finally did it and switched to a Mac!! Never thought it would happen as I always felt guilty about the cost but after 5 laptops crashing on me - well, I just could not take it anymore! I managed to get a fairly good deal on a 15" Macbook Pro - 2.2/120GB version. I still don't know much about the mac way but am trying to learn so any help would be appreciated!
    1). Is there any kind of video tutorial (preferably free!) that I can use that will help me learn the Ma OS X? I have Tiger 10.4.11 on my MBP (Did you hear that - MY MBP!!!)
    2). AOL Assured me that they fully support Mac before I purchased (only 5 times!) but after I had bought it - they then told me that they do not! I got the AOL disk for Mac but it kind of ***** - features are missing etc. Does anyone in the UK run their Mac's with AOL and does it run as per normal? Any advice with AOL & Mac?
    3). AOL also told me - hey, no probs - of course you can transfer all your old emails, favourites folders, personal filing cabinet from a PC to a Mac - but then, after I bought it - the so called dedicated Mac Experts at AOL tell me that simply is not possible - What advice can anyone give me who has switched from PC to Mac with AOL and who needed to transfer all their stuff over? AOL tells you totally different things depending on who you talk to and even from what their web page state! I am really fed up with them!
    4). If I am ever successful in getting all my many years worth of data from AOL on a PC to a Mac, I am really intent of changing ISP's - what are the best ones for Mac that offer good Mac support, good deals and no charges for telephone support?
    5). I was initially happy with Tiger as again, AOL assured me they supported it but not Leopard (even their website says so) and as I stupidly thought that it must be true (we are talking AOL here!). Now I know that they don't support anything Mac, I am contemplating moving to Leopard - I am a little cautious as I heard there were/are many bugs and unhappy leopard experiences - have the majority of these been solved yet and is it advisable to change to Leopard or should I wait until an updated version comes out?
    6). My MBP was originally bought in the US but is registered to my name in the UK. it has 6 months Apple warranty left and I wish to buy Applecare. Apple says it 'recommends' buying Applecare in the country at which the item is registered (not bought, as I understand it). Does that mean, if I buy Applecare in the USA, Apple UK will still accept it and service my MBP as they would do any other or will I have to have the hassle of sending the thing to the USA if it needs attention? Applecare USA T&C's state only for the 50 States & Canada and Applecare UK state only for the UK & EU. Both however state international servicing?! I am a bit confused on this one. I travel a lot and need to know, that any Applecare I buy will not then be limited to just the places they state in the T&C's. As It reads to me, Applecare purchased in the USA/Canada will not cover the UK/Europe/ROTW and vice versa. Is this true or am I missing something or just plain thick?
    5). I really wish to upgrade the 120GB HDD. My understanding is that it must be done by either Apple (who charge really silly money) or if correct, at an "Authorized Apple Service Provider" who of course will be much cheaper. If true, does this mean at ANY authorized apple service provider on the planet or just ones in which the item is registered? If I do the upgrade with a service provider, will Apple then also service the new HDD if something goes wrong as per normal anywhere in the world or will they then say, sorry, will not service the new HDD and you have to go back to the place where you had it installed, even though it was one of their authorized service centers? (that would really suck)!
    6). The spelling and dictionary (and a few other things) are set to US English - how can I set to UK English? I have tried but to no avail so far.
    7) What and how should I set the Firewall settings so I will not get attacks by any form of malware? (I do not know much about this area and what the implications mean)!
    Well, that's it so far - please bear my ignorance, I am so new to Mac's and hope this to be one of the smarter decisions I have made in life! Already I have strange sensation that I never had with all those years of Microsoft & PC's - I kinda feel reassured, safe, that if I have problems, they will get sorted, My life will now be easier and not having to worry so much about crashes, viruses, trojans etc, gives me a sense of liberation and contentment almost - very strange feeling but a **** good one! (if only the women in my life were like that)!

    I can help you with your questions about AppleCare, and can also reassure you that both the macbook pro and Leopard will be worth your investment and the time you are putting into figuring out how to get your data across. I switched from windows when I bought my macbook a year and a half ago and would not use any other system now. The other day I completed the transition by erasing parallels and Windows from my system entirely.
    As for AppleCare, you can get warranty care anywhere in the world, no matter where you buy your AppleCare. Mine was bought and is registered in the US, I live in Slovakia, and have had it serviced several times in Austria and Slovakia under the warranty without any problems at all. There are differences, however, in exactly what the warranty covers from place to place, in accordance with the law in each place that AppleCare is issued. Even though I live in the EU, my agreement with Apple is an American one, and the American guarantees hold. If EU law would demand that Apple fix more things, for instance, than American law does, I could not get those things repaired under my agreement, and vice versa.
    Basically, though, I understand my agreement with AppleCare to be that they will fix all problems/damage that are not my fault free of charge for two years after my initial one-year warranty runs out, and that is good enough for me.

    I work in a Mobile Marketing company where clients use our bulk SMS / MMS messaging service in Australia.  A few things I've noticed where iPhones are falling short in comparison to the competition in RECEIVING messages (and I hope are fixed because I'm an apple fan) - a few inconsistencies:
    * Facebook links eg  "Like us at http://m.facebook.com/example"... Last night the link worked on my iphone when I sent it from our platform to my handset.  (4s Firmware 3.4.03, Version 6.1.3, Telstra)  It took me to the page on safari, and even earlier this morning it did - yet now it won't (and I haven't made any changes).  I have tried restarting, (soft and firm reboot) as well as ensuring I'm logged in - or out on another page.   The link does work on computer as well as on my collegues (4s 6.1.3, Firmware 3.4.03  Vodafone au 14.1) and it IS working there - but not sure for how long (considering it was working on mine earlier too)   FYI It also works on 9 differnt android versions of handsets in the office here too.
    * occasionally this happens with shortened links too (like a shortened google map link).  There seems to be no pattern to the issue. 
    * When clients send MMS through our platform, the delivery on the iPhones is inconsistent.  eg, the client can send WMV / GIF / JPG with a Title, Header and Footer message.  The artrwork should fall in the middle of the header and footer.  However another inconsitency - sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.  I can't see any pattern of it as the layout changes intermittently (from minute to minute).    This particular issue is limited to  iPhones on software 6 versions. 
    * In a message, when the LAST WORD in SMS / MMS  is a 'link; - like web address or phone number to call, OCCASIONALLY it does not come up as a link (therefore recipient is unlikely to type it out to get to it).  Again, no pattern, just 'sometimes' does this happen.  Have tried putting a space after it, that doesn't work.  Only if another word is put after it will it always work. 
    * Got feedback yesterday that NO LINKS in message (landlines, mobiles, web address) were working on iphone 5.  Not sure if this is a constant or another inconsistent link?
    Anyway, I'd really like our clients to be able to use a "like us on facebook" link in their messaging with success... could Apple please look into solving these inconsistencies?

    You are not addressing Apple here. We are users like yourself.
    The only thing I could think of in regards to this issue since it has worked on some occassions and not others is what if you deleted cookies and history from Safari. Does that make it work again? While SMS/MMS are a carrier function, I also know that some texts from different phones to the iPhone can produce strange results if the other device is using some type of font that is not supported by the iPhone. If you search the forum, you might find something related to that if you search for "strange characters in SMS" or something similar.
    When you produce these bulk SMS, do you write just the link, or do you write the HTML code in the SMS?

  • A few issues with my new BB Bold 9700

    Hey, i have a few questions, i thought best to keep it to one thread. FYI i updated my blackberry software today using my computer so it all should be on latest versions
    1: GPS never ever works, simple, ive run diagnostics, they time out, and i can never find satelites. My mobile provider does not block it (tmobile uk), is this some sort of joke feature? or is it meant to work.
    2: Blackberry Messenger, i deleted it because i dont want to use it, but my update put it back on the phone. and now theres no way to delete it How can i get rid of it, its always running and that means using valuable memory that isnt needed for it
    3: Prior to today i would press the lock button  on my BB and then you would need to enter the password to unlock the phone, however for some reason the latest update now doesnt use my password when i press the lock button, if i go into the menu and click lock it does. Why.. and how do i make it work like it did
    4: When people phone me, it shows me the number calling me and not the name of the contact. This is pathetic, at work i dont want to answer calls from other prospective jobs, but how do i know who they are if it just shows the number. I have to reject call and then go to my call log. which funny enough shows me name of contact and the number. Why does it not show me this when i am being called
    Overall this is my first BB, i like it, but theres always something going wrong, and im no technophobe. It seems every few days BB releases new updates which screws up things i had working, and changes the options menu dramatically. its getting impossible to keep up
    Any answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

  • HELP!!! x60s Few Issues (Audio etc.) after Clean Installation of XP SP3 (10/3/2011)

    Hope some expert give me some enlightenment on my issues below;
    I have X60s (1702) that I used for many years without much problem (except I was never able to work with my Bluetooth). Out of frustration of so called Blue Screen, I completely re-install XP SP3. Now the issues are;
    1. No Audio Working
    - XP Control Panel => Device Manager shows some of unknown devices with big yellow question mark icon including HD Audio Device etc.
    ** I followed few forums about this issue. I had installed MS UAA driver, few times for Lenova X60s audio driver and even installed Modem driver (as per some suggestion in the forum)
    2. How do I re-activate the Blue ThinkVantage Button?
    3. I don't have Recovery Disc, but if I get this ... will this work for restoring the factory setting (including the Audio)?

    if you get the Recovery Disc , number 1 & 2 will work.
    for number, i recommend uninstalling the current audio driver that you have installed. disable it from device manager and restart your unit.
    reactivate the audio device. windows might install its generic driver. if it does, let it be.
    if not head to http://support.lenovo.com and download the driver from there.
    as for #2 , same site link above .. download the ThinkVantage software.

  • New Desktop Build - Few Issues [Solved]

    Hey guys just completely upgrade my desktop... board, processor, ram, graphics card etc.
    installed everything just fine.
    Went with lxdm and xfce4 as my LDM and GUI. Installed the latest catalyst drivers using the wiki to support my ati radeon hd 7850 card.
    1, I have no xfce4-panel whatsoever. If i go to the terminal and go to start it, it says it is already running an instance. If i kill it, and the try running it again, it still says i am running the instance. If i go the settings for xfce4-panel, it hangs and then errors out "Failed to show the preferences dialog"
    If i run the panel as root from the terminal, it works... so i just have the issue with my normal user i log into X with.
    2. fglrx is definitely not loading. I followed all the instructions in the AMD Catalyst wiki, and am having issues. I use Vi0L0's repo... and am using catalyst-hooks (from the catalyst repo) which contains the latest and greatest, including beta drivers. I have xorg 1.14 installed because it is now compatible with those particular drivers... and have even rolled back to 1.13 just to test. I have done this before with the legacy drivers for an older card, and didn't have an issue.
    If i run fglrxinfo in terminal this is he output:
    Error of failed request:  BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
      Major opcode of failed request:  154 (ATIFGLEXTENSION)
      Minor opcode of failed request:  66 ()
      Serial number of failed request:  14
      Current serial number in output stream:  14
    i also get no output from lsmod | grep fglrx
    3. I cannot start the AMD Catalyst Control panel.
    when i run amdcccle from the terminal i receive this:
    amdcccle: error while loading shared libraries: libQtGui.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
    I already installed qt and all is dependencies, and am pretty sure that's what i did on my old build.
    Please any help would be appreciated, as im trying to get this PC up and running properly. Thanks!

    Last night when installing arch on a friend's machine I had the same problem with XFCE. At first, I thought I may have done something wrong during the install because we did a fresh install on the same machine just a few days ago and had no issue yet it popped up last night (again, with a fresh install) So, I think there may have been an update to one of the xfce4 packages over the last few days to cause this issue. The only way I could get around this was to log in as root (during which the panels worked fine) and then log in as my normal user. I still got an error that the panels were in kiosk mode, but it seems to be holding my changes.
