FI Last document created.

Hi experts,
How can i retrieve the last document created on FI?. I used to get it from a function module, but i can't remember the name. I was looking for it on the se37, but without results.

Billing is not automatically created as soon as delivery is created & posted.
It has to be either manually created or set up in the background.
The background job is generally setup to happen in the last working hours or they are set up so that they can be sent through mail or fax to the customer.
The frequency of the background jobs depends on the requirement of the client, if they have an urgent requirement which cannot wait till the background job the user can manually create the bill from T-Coe VF01.

No v9 properties toolbar access except in last document opened

Has anyone else noticed this in v9.0 or 9.1 of acrobat?
You want to change the properties of an object such as the text format in a comment/markup text box and, even though you can select the text, "No current selection" is reported where the properties would normally appear.
This seems to only happen when the document being edited is not the last one opened by acrobat. It seems to hold true for shapes and other items that could otherwise be modified using the properties toolbar. Disabling and re-enabling the toolbar does not help. Closing the document and then re-opening it does fix the problem for the one document because now the document is the last document opened, but now the prior "last document opened" no longer works in this respect, even if it had been working.

Still not fixed!
Assumptions for this test:
1. Acrobat has been configured so that the "Text Box Tool" (part of the "Comment & Markup Toolbar") is visible on the toolbar.
(Tools --> Customize Toolbars... may need to be used to se this up)
2. The "Properties Bar" is visible (a Ctrl-E should bring it up if it is not already so)
If you had to make changes to get this configuration set, close all Acrobat windows before proceeding so that the settings will be remembered and used when new windows are open.
******BUG******
Text box TEXT PROPERTIES only accessible in most recent file opened.
Steps to reproduce bug:
1. Open a 1st PDF
2. Open a 2nd different PDF
3. Arrange so both are visible.
4. in the 1st PDF create a text box and notice how the window for the 2nd PDF gets the TEXT BOX PROPERTIES BAR
5. notice how there is no way to change the text box properties in the first window.
Results: Text box properties can only be changed in the most recently opened window.
Expected results: Text box properties should work for all windows!
Note that no properties (color, fill, font, ...) of any object (line, rectangle, callout, ...) can be changed using the Properties Bar if the properties bar is not part of the last window opened.
The only kludgy workaround I've found is that if I need a working properties bar in a particular window I can:
1) save the file to capture any outstanding changes that might not have been captured (this is an optional step)
2) make a throw-away minor change to the file (I usually draw a short line segment)
3) Go to File --> Revert (& Confirm)
The file will close and reopen without the throw-away change and it will now be the last file opened so it will now have a working properties bar.

How to use active X controls to read/write protect an excel or word document created by created by Save Report to File VI

I'm trying to creat a word and excel documents using Save Report to File VI. When wiring a password to this last VI, the document created are only protected against writing but not reading. How can I use active X controls to password protect these documents against reading?

There is no predefined functionality available in LabVIEW. So you have to implement this on your own.
It seems to me that you own the Office Report Generation Toolkit. You can use the Excel Get ActiveX References.vi from the Excel Specific >> Advanced palette to get access to the "generic" ActiveX Excel references. Starting from this point, you can use property and invoke nodes to get to the setting you are going to modify.
Please refer to this link for information on Excel password protection. I have not searched for the object giving you access to those settings though....

No accounting document created (?) for price change MR21

Dear All,
I'm facing a strange issue:
1. I changed the price of a material (MAP price control) in MR21.
2. After price change, on the Accounting view of material master both MAP shows the new value both stock value shows the proper value. So, it is OK.
3. When I want to check the document flow and I go to transaction CKMPCD, SAP doesn't show the belonging FI/CO documents when I click on 'Accounting Documents' button (error message: C+652)
4. If I check whether accounting document exists in FB03 I can find no accounting documents.
What might be the explanation for this? Why no accounting document has been created (the price change was big enough)?
(both qty & value update is set for material type for the valuation area and there's no problem in case of price change for materials with SP)

MB5L checks if values updated in MM and values updated thanks to FI document on G/L account are the same,

To do so, start the List of Stock Values: Balances (report RM07MBS, transaction code MB5L) for the last period of the fiscal year. Enter a company code on the initial screen and set the Totals only indicator. If the report finds differences, inform SAP using the SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (formerly OSS). You can continue processing your year end closing while SAP clears up the data inconsistencies. The creation of the balance sheet is the only thing that has to wait until after the inconsistencies are removed. "
Of course you can run this report in your case for current date.
If there are no inconsistency - it means that FI should be generated - check in FB03 all FI document created by you, please.
If you find no FI document create OSS message - FI account updated without FI document during MR21 price change.

Purchasing Info Record last document references deleted PO

We created a PO line with a material which updated the purchasing info record. Subsequently we marked the PO line for deletion. However when I use ME12 to look at the PIR, under the Environment/Last document menu option the deleted PO line is still referenced. How can I reset the last document for a PO line once the PO line has been deleted?

the field just says last PO, it does not say last undeleted PO.
The next PO will update this field.

Want to reduce the number of material documents created during Confirmation

When confirming each phase on the process order, backflush of components happens and a material document is created .So if we have multiple phases, multiple material documents are created. This way we are having large number of material documents created for each process order .
We do not want a material document to created for each phase but rather create one document while confirming the last phase of the process order. How can we achieve this? Is there a configuration or a user exit that can be used?
Our goal is to reduce the number of material documents created.

IF you assigned all the component to final phase then You can get only one material document for all the component
or
Remove all the backflush setting and do the Picking in COIK, The system will Post all the 261 movement component in one document

OSA - Last Document Link - Bug?

Hi Expert,
When we click on the Last Document Link(to view last year appraisal document) from the Main Document, the standard Badi will display the full document which include all the part-appraisal columns (PAPP) and Final Colum (FAPP).
How can we hide the PAPP columns when click on the Last Document Link (i.s. we only want to display the FAPP column)?

We are also moving from EHP3- BSP to EHP4 -Webdynpro PMR application. we have 2 templates
1.2009 which is BSP ( Completed)
2.2010 -New Wd and created the other one with 2009 date(completed)
If we click the 2010 last document button its picking the previous year ie 2009 completed one which is NEW WD one.
We need to get the old appraisal documents which are in 2009 BSP ,Please advise us how to bring this functionality using the HRHAP00_LINK_003 .

Come back on the last item create

Many user need to come back fastly on the last item, partner, or docuemnt create.
The best is to come back without strike the code but with a button.
Like we have buttons for firt, last previous ou next item, can we have a nex button to com back on last item create.

Yes it is possible for documents but not for Item or Partners.
When I create a new Item or new Partner, I cannot come back on the last Item or Partner create if it is not the max code of my file.

Same problem here (no graphics in header or footer) and the problem has been reported months ago. It is another bug/feature lost when Apple moves from 09 to the iCloud-compatible versions. Complain to Apple, you may have better chance than me and they may finally listen to their users....

Can not add function to pages-document created with Applescript

If I create new document using the GUI (New document) I can place the cursor within any table-cell, type "=" (equal sign) and f.e. "2+2" which will result in a cell showing a "4".
If I create a document with Applescript, I can not add new functions (neither by typing = nor by using Insert >> Function (may be different, I have German version here). Already existing functions (which already were in the template) can still be used and work as expected but can not be altered.
Any idea?

The variable templateName is undefined.
The variable angebotsNr is undefined too.
About the described behavior, it's a bug which I never discover before.
It's always striking in Pages '09.

Occasional letters missing in pdf document created in Acrobat XI Pro

I have been working on a pdf document created from Indesign By Acrobat XI Pro that will be for online download. The first version was fine. Links had to be added and some of the text coloured. After edits occasional letters have gone missing throughout the document. Why on earth is this happening? I now have to go through the entire document with a fine toothcomb before submitting it to my client again. It doesn't make me look good!

I suspect that you somehow deleted the embedding of the fonts. Check the document properties and be sure all fonts are embedded.

How to update sales order number (KAUFN) characteristic in the profitability segment of the PA document created at the time of service entry sheet confirmation, as a result of shipment cost document

We have a scenario wherein we create shipment cost documents against delivery. As a result of shipments fully transferred, a PO for freight vendor is automatically created and a service entry sheet confirmation happens. As a result of service entry sheet confirmation, we have Financial accounting, Controlling and profitability analysis documents created. We have a requirement wherein we need to have the characteristic “sales order number (KAUFN)” populated in the profitability analysis document created as a result of service entry sheet confirmation.
Could someone please advice how could this be attained in COPA. Thanks for your help in advance.

Thank you for the quick update.
The document is updated to COPA through OKB9 settings. The profitability segment is updated with fields like customer, product, company code, plant, sales area data, profit center, etc; however the sales order number is missing.
Could you please elaborate further how could FI substitution be implemented to call for the FM COPA_PROFITABILITY_SEGMENT through user exit? Are you recommending the substitution through GGB1? What could be the possible validation to call for the user exit to be implemented?

Pages App on Mac won't open documents created on iPad

My pages app on my mac wouldn't open documents created on my iPad, it said that I needed to down load the newest version which I belive I had. So I put it in the trash hoping I could re install but now I can't open it at all :-(

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Can't open documents created in Pages with macBook pro running maverick

Hello,
I just bought the new MacBook Pro and downloaded iWork. Now when I create a document in Pages and save it to Documents, I can't open it. I get an error messages saying a file is missing. Also, all my old documents created with Pages that I transfered from my old MacBook won't open. It says file too old, need to save to Pages 09.
Tried opening the old documents in Pages 08 and saving them, but still can't open them.
Any suggestions?

Further to my earlier post about this problem, our IT man came in to the office, by coincidence, so I grabbed him and it seems that he has cracked it.
You need to proceed as follows :
Select the document by single click on the icon (i.e. select it but don't double click which will try to open it.)
Go to File Menu and chose "Get Info"
Half way down the drop down menu, chose "Open with" then select Pages 4.0 (i.e. the iWorks 9 version)
This process will open that particular iWorks 8 document.
But, if you also tick the "Change All" box it means that opening with the new version of Pages will become the default and will apply to all iWork 8 documents so you should not need to bother with this ever again.
So far, that seems to work.
(One might have thought it would have been a good idea for Apple to have built this in as a default ?)
