Thanks in advance
Babu.
Babu

Hi,
WBS element is an account asignment cost objct... whether you can book advance payment to the WBs element....
Yes like the way we handle downpayment in sales order process ..(. it will automatically create a down payment request and then finance person will process the down payment....) the same way we can do from WBS element also...
but while assigning a WBs element at the time of making down payment...i am doubt...

  • Quantity field in CJI3-Special Requirement

    Dear All,
    Actually we have standard working projects.if required changes in our site suggested by RnD department we need to add changes in those project.
    All these changes are trapped and controlled by one central organization.
    So requirement is to capture all these costs occur in different projects,through central project .
    In that cost control -central project they want only cost to be capture through FI entries. Their will not be any material assignment.
    The ultimate purpose is to capture all cost line items in CJI3 Report.
    So how can we capture the "Material Quantity"in CJI3 report, without assigning material in project.
    Ask me if any clarification required.

  • Report S_ALR_87012085 , field Special G/L commitments

    Hi,
    A background of my requirement:
    I want to have a vendor aging report. I have explored & identified that there are two standard reports available for the same:
    1. S_ALR_87012085
    2. S_ALR_87012078
    I have run through Forumn & haven't got any answer for my query hence posting a new query. I need to understand some area in relation to these two reports.
    Our requirement from a vendor aging report is to have multiple level summation from the point of view of Co. Code; then under Co code -> Account(vendor or Customer); then under Account detail list with seperate summation based on Spl. GL indicators for each Business Area.
    Need guidance on:
    1. S_ALR_87012085 : This report more or less satisfies my requirement except no seperate summation is happenning on the basis of Spl. GL indicators. However, in this report there is a input field is available 'Special G/L commitments'. I am putting values 'AW' here but no different output is coming whether we use this field or not. Please guide the purpose of this field & how to use the same. The document part says:
    "List of Special G/L Inds for which Balances are Displayed
        List of the special G/L indicators for which separate balances are to be
        displayed in the specifications for the master record area. If special
        G/L transactions were posted which are not included in this list, the
        balances are summed up under "Other commitments". Noted items are not
        taken into consideration."
    2. S_ALR_87012078: There is a report already existing '0SAPDUEAN-01' under the report type 'Line item analysis'. This report also doesn't satisfies my purpose completely. So I need a guidance whether I should modify a current report or create  a new report. Also whether this transaction supports two report & provide us an option to choose either while executing the report?
    Also in many threads it is written that,
    ' Go to transaction code FDI4
    Select Form Type RFFRRD20 Line item analysis'
    But I am not able to see this form type in my system. I am running on SAP 4.7.
    Awaiting response......
    Thanks,
    Akhil

    Dear AB2312
    I undersood what you are saying, to put Spl GL recon account in the 'Line Item Recon A/c' field. But my purpose is still not resolved. I need to run S_ALR_87012085 once with all the input parameters & output should have multiple level summation as pointed by me in my first Post. Thats why I was wonderring what purpose 'Special G/L commitments' field serve.
    Any suggestion on S_ALR_87012078 this as well?

  • How to extract special characters from a field

    Hi there.
    I am a novice when it comes to Web Intelligence reports. I have been tasked with producing a final report that I can export to Excel which shows a project number and a project name. Very simple. Ultimately I need to import my final Excel file to a third party software. However, the issue is the project name field consists of special characters such as hyphens, parenthesis, asterisks, etc. I need to be able to create a formula which extracts all special characters and just leaves me with alpha-numeric characters and spaces. I also need to limit the character count to no more than 34 characters. I will not be able to import my final Excel file unless I can product those results. With the help of a very knowledgable person in the Crystal Reports forum, I was able to do that by using the following formula:
    stringvar a:=left({Projects.ProjectName},34);
    numbervar i;
    Local StringVar fin;
    for i:= 1 to len(a) do
        if a[i]in ["a" to "z"] then
            fin := fin & a[i]
        else if a[i] in ["1" to "9"] then
            fin := fin & a[i]
    else if a[i] = " " then
         fin := fin & a[i];
    fin;
    It worked amazingly well in Crystal Reports but this report now needs to move to Web Intelligence. Is there a way to do this in a Web Intelligence report? Itried but the formula is not recogizable. I tried creating a variable and using this formual but I couldn't get it to work.  I appreciate all helpful responses. The version of Web Intelligence I am using is SAP Business Enterprise XI. I am working in a PC environment using Windows 7 if that helps at all.
    Thank you!
    Lauren

    Hi Lauren, Please provide with some sample data...
    In SQL, by writing some Functions/Procedures you can eliminate special characters. Ask your database team to do that.
    or
    Create an object with the following syntax... It Works in SQL.
    = REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE
    (REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE
    (REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE
    (REPLACE(REPLACE(REPLACE([String_Object],'&',' '),'*',' '),'(',' '),'^',' '),'%',' '),'!',' '),'@',' '),'#',' '),'$',' '),'~',' '),')',' '),'+',' '),'=',' ' ),'-',' '),'_',' '),'/',' '),':',' '),';',' '),',',' '),'<',' '),'.',' '),'>',' '),'?',' '),'"',' '),'''',' '),'[',' '),']',' '),'{',' '),'}',' '),'\',' '),'|',' ')
    Example: Input: '~!@#$%^&*()_+{}:"<>-=[]./\|/*-+ascdfv123'
                  Output: ascdfv123

  • LR 2 - special character in caption field

    I'm using LR 2.6 and a custom template to generate a flash gallery.
    The problem is my language which is Norwegian and contains characters like æøå and these behave strange when creating a web gallery.
    In the library the caption field looks ok, but when exported to web, they make an extra whitespace and that's annoying.
    I've looked into the xml file and can't see any whitespace there, so probably the problem appears when the swf file is created.
    How do I control the output in the caption field when using special characters?
    I've tried to change the encoding in the group.xml file, but it doesn't help. Also tried using entities for the characters such as &#229; and &aring;, it didn't help either.

    Hi
    Refer this link
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/6e7a7eae-26fc-467f-bfdc-7c5d5ff49a95/discussion-forum-storing-special-character-in-title-differently?forum=sharepointdevelopmentlegacy
    It seems that SharePoint will allow the Title of the discussion board to remain with the special characters, but the actual URL will not be allowed and will strip them from the final URL.  SharePoint Manager easily shows this, btw.
    So, there are probably many different ways to get what you are looking for, but one way could be to have a Linq query look for all Discussion Boards on a given site and then return the Title and the DefaultViewUrl, which the latter could then be prefixed by
    the SPWeb.Url to give you something like "Testing? , /" for the title and http://mysite/Lists/Testing/AllItems.aspx (assuming
    that is the actual default view) which you could then use as the final URL for your hyperlink in your web part.
    In the code snippet below you can see the Linq query (which I assumed from your post that you need to query to find the Discussion Boards) and a simple DataTable that you could then use to populate a repeater or you just omit the DataTable and
    enumerate the results from the query yourself:
    var linqResults
    = from list in oSPWeb.Lists.Cast<SPList>() where list.BaseTemplate
    == SPListTemplateType.DiscussionBoardselect list;
    DataTable oDataTable
    = new DataTable();
    DataColumn oDataColumn_Title
    = new DataColumn("Title", typeof(string));
    oDataTable.Columns.Add(oDataColumn_Title);
    DataColumn oDataColumn_URL
    = new DataColumn("URL", typeof(string));
    oDataTable.Columns.Add(oDataColumn_URL);
    foreach (SPList oSPList in linqResults)
    DataRow oDataRow
    = oDataTable.NewRow();
    oDataRow[
    "Title"]
    = oSPList.Title.ToString();
    oDataRow[
    "URL"]
    = oSPWeb.Url + oSPList.DefaultViewUrl.ToString();
    oDataTable.Rows.Add(oDataRow);
    oDataTable.AcceptChanges();

  • Special fields for FAGLL03

    Hi,
    I need to add Purchase order, vendor, vendor name, customer, customer name and ar invoice field as a special field for FAGLL03.
    I am able to add vendor, customer and purchasing number fields but I am not able to find name field for customer and vendor. Also I was not able to find ar invoice field.
    Any help will be apprecaited.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hello Mark,
    Here at our side this has been implemented this way. You will need ABAP consultation:
    1) Create an append structure in RFPOS structure with the new desired fields;
    2) You will have to use a BTE to implement the exit. Ask the ABAPer to create a new Z function module based on existing SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001650.
    3) Through transaction FIBF, Menu Settings -> Products -> ...of a customer, you should create a code to identify the customization. Lets say FIN01. Don't forget to click on checkbox field to activate the business transaction event.
    4) Through transaction FIBF, Menu Settings -> Modules P/S -> ...of a customer, you should create an entry to assign the Z function module with the product. Something like below:
    Event                Product        Ctr.         Appl.                  Function module
    00001650         FIN01                          FI-FI                   Z_INTERFACE_00001650
    Hope it helps you.

  • OBXR- Special GL Transaction Types - Modify Fields

    Hello Gurus. We are on ECC 6.0 with New GL. Is there a way to modify which fields are available for the Special GL Transaction types in OBXR ? For example: In OBXR go to Properties.  We selected Down Payment/Down payment request, later on when we enter a document via FB01 or FB50 or when we post a payment via F-28, and we select Posting Key 09 or 19 and use the Special GL Indicator we are able to display and enter information in BSEG-PRCTR (Profit Center field).
    If on the other hand in OBXR we set up another Special GL Transaction type and we select Others, then  BSEG-PRCTR (profit center field) is not even available, but we are able to enter BSEG-ZFBDT and later on modify this same field (BSEG-ZFBDT) via FB02.
    I would greatly appreciate your guidance in how to modify/include additional fields in these Special GL Transaction types. Thanks!

    Hi Enrique,
    Are you referring to the document screen layout when you enter the document in the special GL transactions?
    This is controlled by the field status of the posting key in question. Using transaction code OB41you can double click on the posting key (say 09) and inside you find something called as maintain field status. Clicking on the same, you will be able to see various groups under which you can make the necessary settings like optional/reqd/suppressed.
    Thanks
    Aravind

  • Field VIQMSM-MATXT(14) does not exist in the screen SAPLIQS0 7204

    Hi experts,
    I have a BDC calls QM02 Tcode in a custom report as follow:
      PERFORM bdc_dynpro      USING 'SAPLIQS0' '7204'.
      PERFORM bdc_field       USING 'BDC_OKCODE'
                                    '=REAK'.
      PERFORM bdc_field       USING 'BDC_CURSOR'
                                    'VIQMEL-QMNUM'.
      CLEAR txline.
      CONCATENATE 'VIQMSM-MATXT(' lnindex ')' INTO txline.
      " txline = VIQMSM-MATXT(0014)
      CONCATENATE 'PO #: ' alv_qmel-ponum INTO matxt SEPARATED BY space.
      PERFORM bdc_field       USING txline
                                      matxt.
      PERFORM bdc_transaction USING 'QM02'.
    When debugging I found that the input bdcdata table contains a field VIQMSM-MATXT(14) in screen SAPLIQS0 7204.
    Number 14 is the number of task of the notification which was not marked as deleted.
    This field caused the error: Field VIQMSM-MATXT(14) does not exist in the screen SAPLIQS0 7204 after that.
    I would like to know what does VIQMSM-MATXT(14) mean? How BDC can transfer VIQMSM-MATXT(14) to QM02? And How does it work?
    Thanks,
    Khanh

    Hi Kostek,
    I did not have the solution for this exact problem because our FA canceled this bug.
    Check your test case carefully whether the screen of the TCode called by BDC has that field OR NOT. If that screen does not have that field in your special case, just ignore it.

  • Time-dependent Vendor Master & Handling Special Characters

    Hi,
    I need to extract time-dependent Vendor Master.
    1. The data source for <b>0VENDOR</b> does not have fields to hold the valid date range.
    2. Does the Master data in R/3 for Vendors will hold the valid date range?
    3. The text for <b>0VENDOR</b> provides time-dependent, but how to map the <b>valid from</b> and <b>valid to</b> fields?
    Handling Special Characters:
    We are trying to extract data from Legacy system via DB Connect. The item text field consists of special characters. Of course in BW customization we can specify all the special characters to consider. But the special character we observed is 'square' symbol i.e. 'new line character' in Oracle. We are updating this to an ODS object. When looked at error log, observed that green light for the number of records transferred and updated, but finally when it load into ODS object and activates popping up the error message saying 'could not recognize special character'.
    Please help me getting the 2 issues resolved.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to create a pdf/a-1b with a text field

    hello, I'm trying to execute a very simple task: create a pdf/a-1b containig a text field.
    using Acrobat XI pro, I created a simple pdf form with 1 form field of type text , then tried to save as pdf/A-1b. The pdf is saved but the form field is removed from resulting pdf.
    Here in detail the steps I made:
    0) configure adobe pdf printer to save as pdf/A-1b
    1) creat a test.txt with notepad
    2) print using acrobat pdf printer
    3) open the generated pdf with Acrobat XI
    4) in 'Standards' panel I see that pdf conform
    5) now go to 'Tools\Modules' and 'Modify'
    6) add a textbox field
    7) exit from 'Modify' mode and save
    8) in 'Standards' panel I see that pdf doesn't conform.
    9) I opened the preflight tool and see two errors
         a) "XMP property for a page object not predefined and no extension schema present".
         page reports the following Trigger values:
         - Extension schema is present in XMP: is not true
         - Property exists in PDF/A Standard: is not true
         b) Form field does not have an appearance dictionary
         page reports the following Trigger values:
         - Form field has an appearance dictionary: is not true
    I'm quite new to Acrobat: simply downloaded the Actobat XI evaluation version, created the file and added the text field. No special settings nor other configurations was applied,
    I'm wondering if someone else was able to reproduce this behavior.
    thank you for any comment

    First, about invalidating the PDF/A. I was told, but never had this confirmed nor tested, that editing a PDF/A will automatically cause the PDF/A status to be deleted from the file. This is because Acrobat does not know about the compatibility of every edit with every current (and future) PDF subset standard, so it is safest just to remove the indicator - if you turn off Adobe's PDF/A view mode which will prevent editing anyway.
    Now, you have a problem with the signatures. Possibly a very big one. Your description "2) fill the text field with some annotations and then sign the signature field 3) save the pdf" is a little too separated. At the time a file is signed it is saved, the hash calculated, and written to the file. So signing and saving are just one action. Yet an unsigned digital signature needs, it seems to me, no appearance.
    I think the solution is a simple one. Sign it, but not with a signature field. If it is PDF/A when you start it is probably PDF/A when you finish. Signature fields seem a distraction and obstacle to the important thing, signing.

  • Error in PSA with special characters

    Hello,
    I'm having a problem with sprecial characters in PRD system.
    This happen with standard extractor for Confirmations in SRM module, 0BBP_TD_CONF_1.
    I have 5 records with error in PSA. The field that have the error is 0bbp_delref and it has the text: “GUIA ENTREGA Nº2”.
    The error message says that field OBBP_DELREF has special characters that are not supported by BW.
    The field is char 16 and in spro I have the characters:
    QWERTYUIOPASDFGHJKLǪNºZXCVBM/~^´`* '()"#$%&!?.-0123456789«»<>
    In QUA, I created confirmations with this text and it worked fine and the characters in SPRO are the same.
    Any idea?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Maria

    Hi Maria,
    There will be no issue with update rules as the issue is with Data..
    ALL_CAPITAL should resolve your issue, .otherwise try individually executing those spl characters in RSKC..
    have you tried in SPRO...
    Check in this table RSALLOWEDCHAR in SE11 and find what all characters allowed(permitted)  in PRD system...
    please go through the above mentioned blog once
    Thanks,
    Sudhakar.

  • Error during data load due to special characters in source data

    Hi Experts,
    We are trying to load Billing data into the BW using the billing item datasource. It seems that there are some special characters in the source data. When the record with these characters is encountered, the request turns red and the package is not loaded even into the PSA. The error we get in the monitor is something like
    'RECORD 5028: Contents from field ****  cannot be converted into type CURR',
    where the field **** is a key figure of type currency. We managed to identify the said record in RSA3 on the source system and found that one of the fields contains some invalid (special) characters that show up as squares in RSA3. The data in the rest of the fields, including the fields mentioned in the error  looks correct.
    Our source system is a non-unicode system wheras the BW system is unicode enabled. I figure that the data in the rest of the fields are getting misaligned due to the presence of the invalid characters in the above field. This was confirmed when we unassigned the field with the special characters from the transfer rules and removed the source field from the transfer structure. After doing this the data was loaded successfully and the request turned green.
    Can anyone suggest a way to either filter out such invalid characters from the source data or make some settings in the BW systems such that the special characters are no longer invalid in the BW system? We cannot write code in the transfer rules because the data package does not even come into the PSA. Is there any other method to solve this problem?
    Regards,
    Ted

    Hi Thad,
    I was wondering, if system is unicode or non unicode that should not matter the amount and currency field . As currencies are defined by SAP and it is in pure English at least a currency code part of 3 Chars.
    Could this because of some incosistency of data ??
    I would like to know for Which currency  had some special characters it it in that particular record ??
    Hope that helps.
    Regards
    Mr Kapadia

  • Text Object with a Paramter Field in It

    think I am losing my mind.  I have a text object on my report for the 'From' and 'To' dates on a report.  So that the spacing works between the words, I add a text object to my report and type the word "From" (without quotes).  Then, I drag the start date into the field next to the word From.  Then I type "To" and insert the ending date.
    I right justify the contents of the field.  I position the object on the right side of the report (not right at the margins about 1/4" in).
    Just above this combined field, is a special field with the print date.  It is also right justified and the two fields are right aligned.
    The problem is when the report prints, the combined field isn't truly right justified.  There are what appears to be extra spaces in it.  The fields look similar to this...
                                                             02/20/2009
            Report range 01/01/2008 to 12/31/2009
    They should be perfectly aligned based on the CR layout.  I have done some testing.  If I remove the text and just leave the dates in the text object, I have the same results.  It looks like it has something to do with the brackets that get placed around the parameter field when it is placed inside the text object.
    Report range {?datdeb} to {?datfin}
    Has anyone else run across this?  I have noticed this on several of my reports and decided to try and find a solution.
    Could it be a variable font issue?  The problem goes away if I use Lucida Console (a fixed width font).  It is somewhat better but not perfect with Verdana as the font.  It is horrible when using Arial.  I can't believe this is an issue that others have not run across. I searched the forum with no luck.
    Thanks in advance.

    With the help of one of our programmers, he suggested using a Trim function in case there were extra spaces in the field.  So this is what I ended up doing.
    Created a formula with the following:
    "Report Range " + Trim (totext({?datdeb})) + " to " + Trim (totext({?datfin}))
    ?datedeb = beginning date parameter
    ?datefin = ending date parameter
    By using the trim function, the extra spaces that were inserted into the field were removed.
    Go figure!  Oh well... At least there is a solution.
    HTH someone in the future...
