File Extension not allowed for upload

Hi All,
I'm trying to upload txt file but i got error message saying that "File Extension not allowed for upload".
Can tell me where i can set the extension to allow txt, xls?

I have read the other thread on this as I was having the same problem (not allowed to upload CSV files) - however now I can not upload any XLS files ! What have I done wrong ?
I have added the following AppSet Parameters and values :

Hi Karen,
I went to http://<servername>/osoft/Admin/SetParameters.aspx
and added the following parameter values :
ALLOW_EXTENSIONS
DEFAULT_EXTENSIONS
then gave it the values of :
CSV,XLS,XML,TDM,CDM,XLT

BPC: File Extension Not allowed in DataManager

Hello Gurus,
I am facing with an extrange issue iwith datamanger, I am trying to upload a TXT file and receive the message that the extension is not allowed for upload.
I am not able to find where to change this configuration...
Any idea??

Take a look at the appset parameters under webadmin tasks and fill correct the following parameters:
-ALLOWEXTENSIONS
-ALLOW_FILE_SIZE
-ALLOW_EXTENTIONS
-DEFAULT_EXTENTIONS
add TXt and other extentions to these parameters and it will be fixed.

Data Upload: file extension not allowed

Hi alls!!!
I would like to upload a CSV file to the server.
I updated through BPC Web the
ALLOW_EXTENSIONS = [ALL]
ALLOWEXTENSIONS = [ALL]
but it is not working, even after a re-log in and a Re-initialize of the client options ("clear the local application information")
If i go on the registry of my computer andI go to
HKEY_USERS > S-1-5-21-448539723-602162358-682003330-1003 > Software > VB and VBA program Settings > Outlooksoft 5 > LATEST
There is an entry ALLOWEXTENTION and if i put the value to CSV it works...
But i dont want to do that like this... why it is not working with BPC web?

Hi, I'm having the same issue which I believe will be resolved by the solution above.
I understand that I need to modify the Set AppSet Parameters...but am having much trouble finding where this option is located.
I have logged onto BPC Administration, and than an Appset.
On the left panel I see the usual options: Dimension Library, Application, Secuirty..etc
On the right panel when I have my Appset highlighted I see: Add a new appset, Set App set status, etc
But I do not see SetAppset Parameters?? How do I get there??
The user I am logged in has the Administration, Appset, WebApp, etc permissions...

I’m working on WC Spaces Customization library “com.acme.custom.webcenter.spaces.war”. From time to time, when I deploy the library to WC Server, it errors out.

If I try to login the Spaces, I get “Java code in jsp source files is not allowed in ojsp.next mode.” Should I stop the Spaces server before the deployment? In this case, other people won’t have accesses to Spaces? The deployment error doesn’t happen all the time.

I don't think that this error is based on ojsp.next mode. The first error I see is that the application can't be undeployed. After that you get the 'ava code in jsp source files is not allowed in ojsp.next mode.' error. As you said this only happens sometimes which also point to an other problem and not to the jsp error.
Have you ask this on the {forum:id=354} forum?
For me it's more a deployment/redeployment question.

Payment method(s) are not allowed for this program / Program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM

Dear Friends,
In Se38 abap editor, I entered the program RFFOM100, i entered the details program run date,identification future,paying company code,payment methods T, House bank, Account Id and executed the program. I am getting the error 'Payment method(s) are not allowed for this program'.
Payment method S is not used in F110, It was not mentioned in vendor master or vendor invoice.It is not mentioned in fbzp in bank determination. When i tried to delete payment method 'S' the system shows a message Payment Method S is being used in the company code.
In the program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM, i entered the details program run date,identification future,paying company code,payment methods T, House bank, Account Id and executed the program. I am getting the error 'Program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM: No records selected'. But there open items or invoices.
Please suggest how to resolve the errors.

Why are you directly executing these programs?
You will not expect these program to execute directly by going to SE38.
I would have configured the relevant payment methods in the country with DME structure or classical RFFO* programs, which in turn pick up the inherent programs at the time of running F110.
For example, if you need to generate BACS file for country GB, either you copy the GB_BACS to ZGB_BACS or use GB_BACS directly in FBZP settings.
Make sure that you have maintained OBPM1 / OBPM2 / OBPM3 and OBPM4 settings properly.
The system automatically gives the access to system RFFOAVIS_FPAYM. Prepare a variant against this program in F110. Relevant file gets generated to folder path mentioned in OBPM4 will get generated. The file get generated can be seen in AL11.

Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro

I'm sure you've seen this before and I've tried to search for a thread on it here and fell asleep, so sorry if this is a repeat.
I have edited projects in Premiere Pro (on my PC) and I have tried to transfer them in FCP. It worked with the exception of two things:
1. the error message, "Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro"
2. the quality *****! watching it on the playback in FCP it looks great, but then when I burn it to Disc it's pixelated in spots and generally has a lower quality picture.
I know that it's Standard Def. and can't expect the best, but I've done it before (once or twice) and it didn't seem this bad.
Can someone suggest anything to help the quality? Should I run my AVIs through MPEG Steamclip to make it a QT file and if so what is the best format in that since there are many to choose from and most I'm not familiar with?

I did compress them to DV NTSC then burned it to DVD and the result was no bueno.
I thought what I would do is try compressing them again before I send them on over to DVDSPRO. Here is a simplified break down of the situation:
- I have edited the raw footage in Premiere Pro on my PC. They were recorded and captured as SD.
- I rendered them in Premiere, then transfered the rendered AVI file to FCP.
- When went to place the files in FCP, I received the warning message; "Following Media Files Are Not Optimized For Final Cut Pro" but I went forward anyways and it allowed me to do so.
- Originally I went ahead and compressed them from FCP to QT Movie as a DV NTSC, which ended up poorly.
- Therefore my question is, should I compress them using another file type (other then DV NTSC)? Which leads me to another program that I have called MPEG Streamclip, which offers tons of file types of which I am unfamiliar with most. I want the best quality of course but don't know what file type is the highest going from AVI to a format that can be accepted by FCP and ultimately DVDSPRO. Keeping in mind that I only have FCP5 and do not have Prores.
Did that make sense?

I created the wsdl for mobile and I tried to send a SOAP request from Altova XMLSpy. However when I geive the wsdl in 'wsdl file location' I receive the following.

Hi,
it seems that Altove did not cope with defaultNs prefix that is used for marking default namespace.
just look up in your <xs:schema > tag what namespace prefix is used for your namespace - you shall find there something like this
<xs:schema xmlns:ns0="your.namespace.com" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" elementFormDefault="qualified"
and replace prefix defaultNs with prefix of your namespace (in example above it would be ns0)
There might be several usages of defalutNs iside of WSDL (at least in my case were two) so replace it everywhere using same approach

Hi all,
When upgrading from 8.1 to 8.1 SP4 (we have seen the issue as early as SP2), there is an exception thrown when trying to start the server where our application is deployed:

Our application creates an InitialContext using properties from a standard properties file, and when the "java.naming.security.principal" and "java.naming.security.credentials" properties are omitted, the server will start and deploy the application, but it naturally will not work.

Before starting a new Context on the thread, you must close the first Context so that the first user is no longer associated with the thread. Our application caches the Context created, and that Context is used by other objects to perform lookups. Prior to Sp2, this caused no issues when including the username and password as part of the properties passed to the InitialContext constructor.
I presume that closing the Context after it has been used would be the proper fix for this, but right now this Context is used in too many places once it is created. I was able to combat the issue by removing the username and password properties (java.naming.security.principal & java.naming.security.credentials) from the properties file. It seems to work as expected.

As this BAPI is triggered from external sytem that by client in production environment , I would not be able to dig it further.

Limit PO Err Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services

Hi,
I am having a problem while replicating free text Limit PO's to R/3 in SRM 4.0 SP 13. The issue is while creating Free Text Limit SC with the "Confirmation and Invoice" option checked in, the PO's get created in SRM but fails while replicating to R/3 and in RZ20 errors as "Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services" although in vendor master i don't have check for the field "GR-Based Invoice Verification".
On the contrary while creating SC with the "Invoice Only" the PO is successfully replicated to R/3 with item category as B for limit orders.
Now i have noticed if i make changes in the vendor master data i.e. check the flag "GR-Based Invoice Verification" then the PO in my first scenario gets replicated successfully and also with respect to the second scenario but it gets replicated in both the scenarios as item category "D".
As far as SRM standard it should have ideally behave like the below:
Limit SC with GR AND Invoice -> item category D
Limit SC with invoice only -> item category B.
Now my question is why do my PO's fail in R/3 in the first scenario and also if i check the flag in vendor master for GR-Based Invoice verification then in the second scenario the item category is "D" instead of "B".

Limit PO :Combination of GR/IR is not allowed for external services

Hi,
we are working in SRM40 sp09 & back end ECC.50
In the Limit PO:
we are able to create Limit PO from a shopping cart.The follow on documents in ECC, it is creating a PO with Item category "B" and the "invoices" are only possible.
The Issue:
The Client wants the Confirmation/GR functionality to be enabled and the Invoices.
but for Limit PO, with follow on documents--"Confirmation" is checked, we have a error messagecombination of GR/IR is not allowed for external services".
Is there any addition configuration or steps involved.

We have a service PO, for which an error Combination of GR/IR Control not allowed for External Services is being displayed.
The PO is in error in process at this moment. And is not in R/3
On SRM PO we have Confirm Performance of Service/Goods Receipt checked and Invoice Expected checked.
Confirmation-Related Invoice Verification is not checked. Any thoughts on this!!
