File not found in shared folder when transferred through Open Dataset
Dear Experts,
I am transferring a file to a shared folder using open dataset .
The sy-subrc value returns as 0 . But i am not able to find the file in the destined path.
But when i try to retrieve the file from the same path through CG3Y to my local PC , i am able to retrieve the file.
Could you please throw some light into this as to why this is happening.

Sorry for the delayed response . The Authority check FM also returns the sy-subrc value 0 .

Any help with errors setting IPAD back to factory setting? I received this error when trying to back up - backup session failed. Has any one had the following errors when trying to sync to computer?
1) the IPAD cannot be synced, an internal error occurred. 2) required file not found. 3) a folder specified instead of file.
Any help appreciatedType "13019" into the search bar at the top of this page by "Support" and read the resulting help articles.

Music files not showing up in library when transferred from computer?
Just got an 80gb ipod classic. Haven't the slightest clue how to use it. Reading help and stuff but not getting answers. I transferred music from my computer to my music folder in Itunes but they don't show up in the library? They're probably WMA files but they need to be converted. I thought they were supposed to do it automatically? There are no instructions on how to do this in itunes help. Anyone have any solutions?
Wave your mouse over the WMA files in WIndows Explorer. There should be a pop-up info balloon.
Does it say they are protected? -
"Some of the items were not copied/file not found..." when syncing
Every since about a month or so ago, everytime I connect my iPod (or iPhone) to itunes, it does the auto-sync, and after every sync, I keep getting the message:
"Some of the items in the itunes library, including ..., were not copied because they could not be found"
This started out with about 10 'errors' and now today, there were 46 total problems (songs). I have done absolutely nothing to delete any of these songs. When I look in my itunes library, there is now an " ! " to the left of the song, and if I click and try to play the song it says the original file could not be found. This is happening to more and more of my songs, pretty soon I'm not going to have a library left! Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
SarahI have had the same problem. Although I accept that performing the remedy suggested helps in the short term I fail to see how that addresses the underlying problem. I have a new 80GB 5th Generation iPod. I have over 6000 pieces on it and initially I had 4-5 items that wouldn't syn even though they were both on the iPod and the HD of the computer. I corrected the items as suggested and then a few days later like you I had over 100items not syncing. Not only will it take over an hour to manually find the so-called missing files and replace them but I'm concerned that in a week's time it will be a different hundred. Any other suggestions.
The missing files can all still be found in iTunes Library but for some reason the software is not opening them. Any further guidance or help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using a new PC laptop with a Seagate 500GB hard drive for my iTunes

Raise an alert after a specified time, if file not found in source folder
Hi all,
For a requirement, I need to poll a folder at a specified time say 10.00-10:15 AM and check for a file.
If the file is not placed in the source folder within this duration. I need to raise a alert.
How do we handle requirement. Pointers/suggestions to achieve the same would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
YounusHi Abhishek & Swarup,
Thanks for your response. The timeout option will work if the Transport Protocol is FTP. But take a case where it is NFS.
Then how will be monitor the source location for a certain period and then raise an alert.
Please drop in your comments.

JBO:33001 bc4j.xcfg file not found in class path
Hi,
I am yet another victim of the age-old error JBO:33001 bc4j.xcfg file not found in class path, When i have my BC4JApp.jar in Tomcat Web-inf/lib directory. All the other jar files and class files in my webserver-application web-inf classes and lib directory works.
But Tomcat server is not able to read this bc4j.xcfg file. I can see in my jar file that this bc4j.xcfg exists and in the specified package directory. still the problem persists. My BC4JApp.jar is perfectly working when i use JDeveloper. but not when i use tomcat4.0 and call a JSP using BC4JApp.jar from browser (My environment is Jdeveloper3.2, Tomcat4.0+IIS in middle tier and oracle 8i as DB, everything on windows2k)
I have gone through almost all the threads possible that relates to this error in this form. None of them have a answer except to say "put the file in classpath". and last reply is "will fix in jDeveloper 9i. So what happens to us who are working in Jdeveloper 3.2?
1. I have this file in my jar file.
2. I also tried creating a seperate directory manually, with the same name as my package under web-inf/classes, web-inf/lib , just under web-inf directory and atlast under approot directory also. I tried having my package directory containing bc4j.xcfg in these folders one at a time and also tried having this directory in all these folders at the same time.
Still no solution.
Itz frustrating that neither proper documentation nor a right url page nor i am aware of available addressing this. page links given in above threads only gives me the wonderful page of ie's "Page cannot be displayed".
Is there a answer to this error and my problem. If this doesn't work, then i have to all the way develop from scratch creating my jsp using JDBC calls and Stored packages etc.
I don't want to give up on this Jdeveloper at this final moment because if this bc4j.xcfg file is found, my application will work perfectly. on these final moments, if this doesn't work, i am frightened to imagine to develop my application in standard way. Atlast, if thatz the option left,we have to do that bcos our production date is close by.
Please can some one in this forum or Jdeveloper help me to solve this problem. I am desperate and very urgent.
Waiting for a reply from Jdev team very much...
( I just posted in the other thread which is pretty old, dated backto May 2001, which was relevant to this error. Just to make sure it is noticed, I am posting it seperately too)
Thanks
Hari(2/3/02)Hi All,
For those who are following this thread, I got a solution for this error with the help of Jdev Team.
This solution may work, if you have deployed your application in Tomcat4.0.1. This is the environment in which I work and tested.
As you may be aware, Tomcat ignores value in CLASSPATH variable.
To see any files that are existing or newly deployed, it has it own way of detecting it.
Addition information on Tomcat working, you can follow this link,
http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.0-doc/index.html
Coming to point, Tomcat has got five classloaders and each classloader invoked, looks in their related directories for files in following order.
1. /WEB-INF/classes of your web-application
2. /WEB-INF/lib/*.jar of your web application
3. BootStrap classes of your JVM (Tomcat's $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext)
4. System class loader classes($CATALINA_HOME/bin/bootstrap.jar,CATALINA_HOME/lib/tools.jar)
5. $CATALINA_HOME/common/classes
6. $CATALINA_HOME/common/lib/*.jar
7. $CATALINA_HOME//classes
8. $CATALINA_HOME/lib/*.jar
So All your individual application related files should be deployed in your application's WEB-INF/classes or WEB-INF/lib directory accordingly.
If your application files are unpacked, they should be deployed or copied under WEB-INF/classes directory
if the files are within a jar, they should be under WEB-INF/lib directory.
If your Jar-files contains bc4j components, then those jar files should be deployed under WEB-INF/lib directory. Also,do the next step to copy all relavant BC4J runtime libraries under lib directory.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to copy and paste all the required BC4j runtime libraries in the Same WEB-INF/lib directory along with your application jar files. This is the real reason which can solve this JBO:33001 to disappear. It worked for me.
To configure your directory for tag-lib uri's, use web.xml to set the taglib-uri attribute.
Put your web.xml and DataTags.tld in the WEB-INF directory.
Your simple web.xml may look like as follows.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<!DOCTYPE web-app
PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD Web Application 2.3//EN"
"http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd">
<web-app>
<taglib>
<taglib-uri>
/webapp/DataTags.tld
</taglib-uri>
<taglib-location>
/WEB-INF/DataTags.tld
</taglib-location>
</taglib>
</web-app>
You may then modify this web.xml to suit further requirements of your application.
Remember to stop and restart the Tomcat Server (service) by using shutdown and startup scripts after updating any jar files/class files/ JSP or source files deployed in Tomcat.
Sometimes, only this helps even though your context's reloadable attribute is set to true in Tomcat Server's server.xml file.
Hope this above information helps you to solve this error in Tomcat environment. My Sincere thanks once again to Juan and Jdev team for their help and efforts to solve this problem.
Thanks

[Solved] grub2: file not found but booting fine
I just ran grub-mkconfig to update my grub.cfg because I installed E4rat. But now I have a problem: Every entry in grub2 can be booted and E4rat really boosted my boot process so actually everything is fine. But while grub2 is loading it says something like:
Grub 2 is loading...
Welcome to Grub 2!
error: file not found.
error: file not found.
error: file not found.
Now grub shows up and everything is as it should be. When I select Arch it again says "error: file not found." three times and continues with a normal boot process. So basically it's nothing that would brake my system but something seems not right and that's just a huge annoyance.
Here's my grub.cfg just in case:

Last edited by retzu (2012-04-16 14:16:02)I have the same error message as in the first post. "error: file not found" listed three times when I first choose Arch from the Grub2 menu. The solution linked to by the.ridikulus.rat would not seem to apply as I do not have the locales en* in /boot/grub/locale BTW, I am in the US. The system does boot though.
I just fixed this a few seconds ago and was going to post how, basically I just did "cp /boot/grub/locale/[email protected] /boot/grub/locale/en_US.mo" which seem to do the trick, the reason I didn't fix this sooner is the error only stays up for a very small fraction of a second making it hard to read.
# ls /boot/grub/locale
ast.mo da.mo fi.mo hu.mo it.mo nl.mo ru.mo uk.mo zh_CN.mo
ca.mo de.mo fr.mo id.mo ko.mo pl.mo sv.mo vi.mo
EDIT: I get the same three "error: file not found" messages when I boot Fedora (a multiboot system). This is with grub2 installed from Arch Linux.

Error code "File not found Result code = -43" PLEASE HELP!
I keep getting this error message: "File not found Result code = -43" when trying to load instruments from the media tab. Does anyone know why this is happening and know how to fix this problem? I'm in the middle of a project and need help! Thanks.
So, I've narrowed down the problem to happening with the following steps (could someone possibly try this and see if the same problem is happening?)
If I load an instrument track and its blank and select a GARAGEBAND loop from the media list, I get the error message.
If I load a new instrument track and select any other instrument from the media list (besides a Garageband instrument) everything loads fine, AND THEN if I select a Garageband instrument from the list, it loads fine with no error.
If I select "No plug-in" in the channel strip after this, and try to load a Garageband loop, I get the error message and all other instruments from the media lists fail to load until I select "no-plugin" again from the channel strip and select an instrument from the media list BESIDES a Garageband instrument and then go from there (and can then load a Garageband instrument).
Is anything like this happening to anyone else? Does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening? -
When I open this folder to go to PS it says file not found, I dont know how to fix this but need it solved ASAP
Look at the file name closely for errors. Should have "show extension" enabled in OS. Look for more than one dot like boat.jpg.jpg

File Not Found error (-43) when trying to record
Never had this problem in the past, and haven't used Logic in a few months, but every time i attempt to record, i get that message: File Not Found, Result code error -43
I am using the MBox 2 Pro as my record in, and Logic 6.4.3
Thanks for the help...Hi,
I have a 'file not found' problem with Logic Express. A while back I transferred all my Logic files to DVD to make room on the hard drive. It took 4 discs, saved alphabetically by song title. Now, I nearly always get the 'file-not'found' error message when I try to work on something. Sometimes when I click 'search' it finds the file, sometimes it doesn't. I'm confident that I didn't delete the files.
Wondering if 'search' would find the files if I transferred all the files from DVD to a single folder on an external drive. I don't use the 'search manually' option, because I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, or where to look. In the other room, perhaps? 'Computer challenged' is me. Any suggestions?

Why am I getting File not Found alert when I type into my browser?
Why do I keep getting a File not Found alert when I type into my browser?
I have been using firefox for about 4 yrs now with very few problems. The problem I am having is that when ever I go to type in anything into my browser I keep receiving this message:
(Scroll down to see the rest)
File not found
Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Program Files (x86)/Mozilla Firefox/omni.jar!/chrome/en-US/locale/browser-region/region.propertieschronic+fatigue+syndrome.
I recently installed Firefox 5.0 and this keeps happening. It happened with the 4.0 version a couple of days ago but mostly it is the 5.0 version that I am having problems with. When ever I want to do a search I have to manually type in google.com. Is there a solution to fix this?The NuGet is a dll that was built with 4.0.0.0. The easiest thing to fix problem is target you VS project to use Net 4.0. You could get a new version of NuGet, but if you do make sure you rebuild your entire project. The dependencies in
the VS compiler doesn't always recognize updated libraries. So I normally rename the bin folder in the project and then delete the bin folder. VS will create a new bin folder and then rebuild all the source files. If your project contains
multiple projects then remember to delete the bin from all projects.

Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found when trying to access jsp
I am using RAD (new to web dev) for some reason my app is unable to find .jsp's when they are not in the web content folder. I have a predefined package for my jsp's and when I run my servlet I get
Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found: /WEB-INF/classes/app/view/search.jsp
now if I amend my URL in the servlet to "/search.jsp" and move the jsp to the web content folder, it works. I just don't understand why it cannot find the file when I put it in the package I created and link to it, but finds it just fine in the webcontent folder. Is there some unwritten rule JSP's MUST be in the webcontent folder? Because when i do that, then I have issues with my image links for the GUI (get red X's for all my images regardless of the fact they are linked properly.) Basically if I put my jsps where I want, look fine in design and preview, but the jsp isnt found when executed, if I move them to the web content folder the images no longer work but the jsps run. I am getting rather frustrated. Any help is appreciated.Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

File not found when trying to call a dll on LabVIEW Real Time machine
I have a dll called "DLLRTTEST" that I've written, and have succesfully called on my host machine. I'm now attempting to call this dll from a vi that is located on my real time computer. Currently I get an "Error 7 occurred at Call Library Function Node in DLLRTTEST.vi." message upon execution
In the attached screenshot I'm trying to ensure that the vi I'm running is in fact located on the real time system. I then use a "Check if File or Folder Exists.vi" to confirm that the dll that I'm about to call does exist on the real time system as well. However, I still receive an "error 7 file not found" error from the Call Library Function Node.
Any help is appreciated.

DLL_Call_Screenshot.png 61 KBAs nathand already mentioned, depending on your C toolchain your DLL will depend on other DLLs. Usually the according msvcrtXX.dll that matches your Visual C version, if you use Visual C, other runtime DLLs if you use a different C environment. These runtime DLLs are even necessary if you do not call anything in any of your functions, since the DLL makes various initialization steps when it gets loaded and that references some C runtime functions nevertheless. Compiling and linking the DLL with static C runtime is usually also not a clean solution since the linked in C runtime will then reference Windows APIs that are not available on LabVIEW RT.
Depending on your version of LabVIEW RT you will have some mscvrtxx.dll files in your system directory but it will be an older one than from the latest Visual Studio version. If you can compile your DLL with that Visual Studio version then you should be fine, but could possibly run into new problems if you later upgrade to a newer LabVIEW RT version. Installing the C runtime distributables from newer Visual Studio versions is unfortunately also not a solution, since it references many (undocumented) Windows API functions that are not available in LabVIEW RT.

I had Opera set as my default browser since this began happening. I changed my default browser back to Firefox mainly because having Firefox open one or two seconds every time I open Opera was/is such a nuisance.
I believe this problem began because I attempted to manually transfer the files from my old computer to the new one (via the backed up files in my external drive). I was unfamiliar with Windows 7 when I did this. Microsoft changed the file set up from what I had been used to in Windows XP. I used XP for six years before being exposed to Windows 7 (I never had Vista).
I'm almost sure this problem has something to do with where I placed the application data when I was trying to reestablish the program set up on the new computer. -
File Not Found when calling a Servlet in Portal
We've developed a JSP/servlet application within JDeveloper 9.0.3 also using the Portal add-in.
Upon submission of form within the JSP, a servlet is called using a url based servlet mapping. Everything works great in Jdeveloper, but once we deploy to the app server through OEM and try to submit the form on the JSP (through a basic submit button), we get a 404 File Not Found error.
All of the code is set up in the basic j2ee structure. (I think) DrugInter is the name of the provider and the application.
applications/DrugInter/DrugInter/WEB-INF/classes/src/com/whatever/ServletName.class
Our web.xml has the correct servlet name and mapping to this servlet. I'm assuming this is the case only because everything works fine within JDev.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Teri KempleI think I found the problem. I am using Illustrator CS5 (15.0.02) running on MacOS (10.7.5).
In my script, Folder.selectDialog function was returning "file:///Users/alex/Apps/temp", when I selected the temp folder from the dialog box. I want the function to return "/Users/alex/Apps/temp". If I hardcode the path (as shown below), the javascript runs fine.
// Select the source folder.
//sourceFolder = Folder.selectDialog( 'Select the folder with Illustrator files', '~' );
sourceFolder = Folder("/Users/alex/Apps/temp");
