File to idoc adapter

Hi ,
       i am  creating  File to Idoc scenerio in which our XML message is in error.
<SAP:Code area="IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_RUNTIME</SAP:Code>
  <SAP:P1>MSGGUID 296FE65735374C062450FE8D73D37350: Tag found instead of tag IDOC BEGIN=</SAP:P1>
please suggest what can i do.

Hi,
Go to IDX1
find the port to your R3
find the rfc destination name that the port is using
go to SM59 and find this RFC destination
open it and click CTRL+F4
(authorization test)
do the same procedure for your RFC destination
in the IDOC receiver adapter - if you sue any other

  • File to idoc adapter   :IDOC IS POSTED IN XI but showing error EDI partner

    Hi ,
    my interface is working fine but issue is that in Recver R3 system idoc is in errors status 56 (EDI partner profile not available.
    I already define business system which is used to send data from XI.
    My Business system name is testBsys1 for sender XI service.
    In R3 i have created logical system testBsys1
    and in we20 already created partner profile testBsys1
    and also maintain in bound parameter.
    please suggest me where is i am doing mistake.

    Hi Mohit,
    How is the control record of the posted Idoc made in PI? Check the Control Record of The IDoc that is posted in R3, it is not having correct information.
    IF you are not making the control records in PI  mapping, then in the receiver IDoc, keep apply control records from payload as checked.

  • Can anyone plz send FILE to IDOC scenario

    Hi everyone,
               can anyone send me this scenario:
         " Develop interface to integrate a legacy system to an SAP R/3 system by using file and IDOC adapter".
    thank u in advance
           xilearner

    hai
    Actually File to IDOC scenario is very simple.
    1.Go to Integration repository,Create a Software Component Version.
    2.Under that SWCV Create a Data structure for Source(File).
    3.Create a Message Type, Message interface,Message mapping,Interface mapping for the file.
    4.Get the IDOC structure from SAP objects Using import objects.
    5.Using a sample file u can test it in the message mapping.
    6.Activate all these things then and there.
    Go to Configuration
    1.Create Sender Communication Channel,Sender Agreement,Receiver Determination,Interface Determination and Receiver Agreement.
    2.Use File Adapter for File and IDOC adapter for Receiver in the communication channel u specified.
    3.Activate all these things then and there.
    4.Just create a sample file Using mapping in design and u can see a output file.
    Just look at this link:

  • XI FILE(FTP) - XI- CRM(Idoc adapter) scenario - restart message

    Hello All,
    I have scenario as below.
    FTP->XI->CRM
    The sender adatper is File Adapter, FTP.
    Recv. adapter : IDOC adapter.
    In CRM, there were middleware settings for idoc processing.
    For an interface, in XI, i had a problem in getting a file of 10 Mb in size, so the file is split and i have made the XI sender adapter 'Z_PRICE_NEW20061004*.txt', so it picks all files within 5 mins and i have almost 104 XML messages.
    Now the problem is a quite no. of message are ended up with error status in outbouond process in XI.
    How can i reporcess the message? As the file is deleted from FTP? i ahve to do anything with the  failed message.
    A quick help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  • IDoc Adapter - Logical System - File to IDOC configuration

    I have a scenario reading a File ->XI->IDoc in R/3. I'm looking to have the control record parameter for SNDPRN reflect the Environment dealt with. I unchecked the 'Apply Control Record Values from Payload'  & 'Take Sender from Payload' boxes but the problem I'm getting is that the system is reading from the business service (IDoc Adapter - Logical System) and feed it in the Partner Profile in the IDOC. This means that I should all the time redefine 3 this Logical System in config before transporting my scenario from DEV/QA/PRD. Any idea how I can avoid this kind of 'hardcode' ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Why u r using three different LS can't u use only one LS and send all the IDOCs to same LS. That will ease ur task.
    Do let me know why u r going for three different LS.
    In the file r u getting any data which will help u to identify that this file is for which LS. IF that is the scenario then u can use the value mapping and based on the value which is coming in file u can map it to the IDOc filed which u have mentioned and in the configuration it will take the respective configuration.
    Thnx

  • File sender adapter:FILE to IDOC without BPM, can't see in SXMB_MONI.

    Hi all
    I have a FILE - XI - IDOC Async scenario without BPM.
    I configured FILE sender adapter and IDOC receiver adapter. I made a mapping to transfer file data to the structure of IDOC.
    Now when i am trying to load the file using command prompt, i cud see nothing in the monitoring. Whereas if i go to the communication channel monitoring of runtime workbench, i saw that CC is polling correctly and was reading the file also.
    And also wen i saw in the processed folder which i mentioned in the CC configuration for the ARCHIVE DIRECTORY, i saw that file got transferred to the folder also.
    I don't understand why i cant see anything in the monitoring.
    Could anybody help me to rectify the problem. Is there anything i m missing ?
    Regards
    Naina

    Rajesh/Amar
    TCode:: SXMB_ADM->Integration engine configuration->specific configuration->runtime
    Trace_Level = 3 then you can get all MONI PIPELINE Steps also
    I did this change but cudn't see anything in SXMB_MONI.
    This is how i have configured my process:
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/FiletoMultipleIDOCSplittingwithoutBPM
    But instead of IDOC splitting i have simple FILE - XI -IDOC scenario.
    I have configured everything exaclty the same way it is mentioned here. But for me the process is not visible at all.
    I can't even see the first request message in the monitoring.
    This is the message i can see in the communication channel monitoring:
    2010-05-24 09:07:41 Success Channel CC_*: Entire file content converted to XML format
    2010-05-24 09:07:41 Warning Channel CC_*: Empty document found. Proceed without sending message
    2010-05-24 09:07:41 Success File "/xyz/ABC.txt" archived after processing
    Is there any problem with the file and that could be the reason it cant convert the file to the request message MT_REQUEST and thus am not able to see anything in monitoring.
    help me guys....this is a simple process and i m stuck...its frustrating

    Hi Raj,
    I think i will give you some more information about SOAP adapters,So Please go through the link below and follow the steps mentioned in it while defining the web service.Then you will get to know the actual use of a SOAP adapter.

  • IDoc flat file over AS2 adapter to IDoc adapter

    Hi,
    The scenario is IDoc flat file(.txt) over AS2 adapter to IDoc adapter. Could anyone help on how to convert the IDoc flat file to xml in AS2 adapter to execute the mapping further? we are using PI 7.0.
    Thanks in advance!
    -zameer

    Hi,
          Since you are on Pi 7.0, you would not be able to use the modules for this in PI 7.1.
    You would need to refer this document for converting from Idoc flat to XML
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/46759682-0401-0010-1791-bd1972bc0b8a?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
    In your sender AS2 adapter, you can pass the file as is to an abap mapping which will do the conversion to Idoc xml. the output of the abap mapping goes to your message mapping then for conversion.
    Another option would be to use a custom adapter module in the sender AS2 adapter to call the Aabap mapping to do the conversion into Idoc xml.
    The custom adapter module would do a JCO/RFC call which will do the conversion before passing the data back to the adpter module.

  • Receive XML file from CIDX adapter and Post to SAP as IDoc using XI

    I have scenario where we will receive the xml file from CIDX adapter. I need to take the xml from CIDX, do the Database Lookup and post it to SAP as IDoc.
    Any technical documentaion or step-by-step process documents can be very helpfull to me, since I am new to XI
    Thanks
    SP

    Lookup in XI is used to call the target data storage system and get data from there to your mapping programme.
    In XI you can do Lookup in Message Mapping, Java Mapping and in XSLT Mapping. Previously Lookup in XI was system dependent. But now what ever the system are i.e. SAP system or non-sap system(Oracle,MS SQL etc) lookup API are same.
    Overview of Lookup
    - Lookups are used to identify/request the data from mapping program.
    - It interrupt the process and looking for data which was stored in target system.
    - It get that data and comeback to process and continue with that data.
    Types of Lookups in XI
    - JDBC Lookup: JDBC lookup is used for accessing data from database (non SAP).
    - RFC Lookup: RFC lookup is used for accessing the SAP Data.
    - SOAP Lookup: SOAP lookup is used for accessing data from Webservice
    Steps to perform Lookup in Mapping
    Import package com.sap.aii.mapping.lookup.*;
    Create connection to the target Database system.
    // Determine communication channel created in ID
    Channel channel = null;
    channel = LookupService.getChannel("DB-SYSTEM-NAME","DB-CHANNEL-NAME");
    // Get system accessor for the channel.
    DataBaseAccessor accessor = null;
    accessor = LookupService.getDataBaseAccessor(channel);
    Build the Query String.
    Getting Result
    // Execute Query and get the values.
    DataBaseResult resultSet = null;
    resultSet = accessor.execute(Query);

  • Logical System in file 2 idoc

    Hi
    I am developing an scenario of file to idoc.
    My problem is, when it is generating the idoc in target system, the Parner Number in control record is filling with the logical system name given when creating the business system.
    I tried changing the logical system name with actual partner number which I want but giving an error   '  The selected integration server already has a business system with logical name "pidclnt001". Select a different integration server or change the logical name. '
    Can anybody advice me,  is it not possible to create two scenarios to send same Idoc to same system ?
    Regards,
    Shylesh

    Hi Shylesh !
    You need to enable the header mapping option in your receiver agreement to overwrite the Logical System name that is sent to the R/3 destination system...which now is the Logical System name linked to your sender system (info is in SLD if is a business SYSTEM or in the Adapter Specific identifier attributes if it is a business SERVICE)
    You cannot have more than 1 business service/system with the same Logical System name...but you can overwrite the sender logical system name that arrives to the destination R/3 system using the header mapping section of the receiver agreement as noted above.
    Regards,
    Matias.

  • File to Idoc OR File to AbapProxy

    Hello,
    Let me expose my problem.
    In fact, I need to integrate new Goods Movements sent by a non-Sap system to ECC system.
    To do that, the non-sap system sends a file.
    Then, I need to generate from this file an Idoc (MBGMCR), fill this Idoc with some extra data (from Ecc tables) and then to integrate it into ECC.
    The question here is to find the best solution (according to performance and feasibility) to do that using PI (7.0).
    We are hesitating between two scenarios:
    1-     File to Abap Proxy
    We get the data sent by an abap proxy, and then we complete it with the necessary extra data from ECC tables in order to create complete the Idoc segments.
    In this case, I canu2019t see the need of SAP PI because we could have just basically read the file directly with ECC.
    Even, using PI will be a waste of performance/time (due to mappingu2026)
    2-     File to IDOC
    This alternative looks more interesting (at least in the PI way).
    But this scenario may lead to the following problem: there are a lot of fields not filled by the data coming from the non-sap system (even whole segments).
    For example, the file contains Orders headers and I need to generate Goods Movements for the materials contained in the orders. So I need to access Orders posts, to retrieve the materials data.
    Is there a way to retrieve simple information in PI using ECC data?
    Any other suggestion/comment is welcome.
    (Any other scenario is also welcome)
    Thanks you in advance.

    ABAP proxy would improve performance in terms of providing adapterless communication.
    In this case, I canu2019t see the need of SAP PI because we could have just basically read the file directly with ECC.
    Making a direct connection would increase point to point connectivity across the organization whose reduction is one of the reason why XI is used.
    If ur communication is async and u have the idoc structure ready, then u may proceed with Idocs.
    But this scenario may lead to the following problem: there are a lot of fields not filled by the data coming from the non-sap system (even whole segments).
    If you want to prevent the node from getting generated, simply disable it in mapping.
    I hope u have seen this

  • Message has error status at outbound side File To Idoc Scenario

    hi ,
    In my File to Idoc scenario , when i go to sxmb_moni , i found that its showing red flag at Outbound Status Tab and showing message "Message has error status at outbound side".
    When i go to IDX5 and and select my idoc and click on Transaction Id it shows "Password logon no longer possible - too many faile" .
    Please suggest what may be the problem ?
    Regards,
    Rohit

    1. First check the RFC destination name used in receiver Idoc adapter communication channel.
    2. As i said earlier, in sm59 transaction in XI gui, u can check same rfc destination under type 3. There check the logon credentials and the username.
    3. Now goto the R3 system GUI and check in su01 that same user is locked or not. If locked unlock it.
    4. And if u change the password of that user, then do the similar change in XI -> sm59 -> rfc destination logon credential

  • Help needed in a file to idoc scenario

    Hi all,
    The scenario is file to Idoc via XI. The problem here is the input file might contain both the PO create and PO change in the same file.
    Assume the first record is PO create and When we post this via XI there could be a delay for creating the PO in the SAP.
    Meanwhile even if the second record (say that's the PO change for the first PO create record) gets processed parallely there could be a possibility of error saying that PO is not created.
    How do we handle this in XI??.. If we use Queue Processing in IDoc adapter it'll guarantee only the delivery order and not the processing order if I'm right?.
    Please guide.

    Saravanan - IDoc preocessing can be handled by serialization. This will guarantee also the order of processing.

  • File to IDOC scenario-no messages in SXMB_MONI

    Hi all,
       I know this is asked so many times ,I checked some links but couldn;t find out the gap where it happened.
    I am doing a File to IDOC scenario through XI mapping.
    I am not getting any messages in SXMB_MONI.
    When I check Communication Channel monitering in Runtime Workbench, it shows processing successfully, then it should generate messages in SXMB_MONI and intimate whether the scenario created is correct or not right!
    Please help.
    My scenario goes like this:
    Sender : Business service(Some file location)
    Used File adapter for sender communication channnel.
    Receiver : Business system(SAP R/3)
    Used IDOC Adapter for receiver communication channel.
    One more thing is,do I need to create logical system for Business service also?If so, where do I maintain it?(In SAP R/3 or in XI system?)
    Till now,I maintained my XI system as logical system in WE20 and I didn't create any logical system for business service in any system.Does it create main problem?

    Hi , I am able to poll the files from file location now.and I am receiving IDOC into SAP R/3 with status 56.I already created partner for file path as a logical system and assigned inbound parameters with respective message type . Even the status shows :
    An inbound partner profile could not be found with the following key:
    /LSDEMO/LS//DEBMAS////
    This involves the key fields of table EDP21:
    -SNDPRN  partner number of sender
    -SNDPRT  partner type of sender
    -SNDPFC  partner function of sender
    -MESTYP  logical message type
    -MESCOD  logical message code
    -MESFCT  logical message function
    -TEST    test flag
    I already manitained following data and there is one record in EDP21.
    SNDPRN  = LSDEMO
    SNDPRT  = LS
    SNDPFC = LS
    MESTYP   =  DEBMAS
    MESCOD = space
    MESFCT = space
    TEST = space
    EVCODE   = DEBM
    SYNCHK = X
    METHOD = space
    USRTYP = space
    USRLNG = space
    INMOD = space
    DCART = space
    And please let me know whether I have to maintain outbound parameters  also for my partner in XI system.I didn't see any difference even I maintained it.
    And my IDOC takes another port rather than I mentioned in my SNDPRN(sender port) of my IDOC control record in message mapping.Let me know whether it's mandatory to maintain port name with SAP<XXX>convension,because IDOC in R/3 is picking the port with that naming convension.

  • Partner Profile not fnd (file-to-idoc)

    Hi,
    Idoc in r/3 failed with 56 error. Partner profile not found.
    partner profile was set up (between XI logical system and R/3 system) in R/3 server.
    Control record of idoc is showing sending system as MDMSBX01 with port SAPXI0. Actually, MDMSBX01 is the source sytem(file server). I can't even find this port SAPXI0 in IDX1. Not sure, how this got picked up.
    I was testing the scenario by using <b>"test message" in Integration Engine(RWB)</b> since I do not have access to FTP server. I am sure this is causing to pick up wrong source system(instead of XI server system as source). Please clarify.
