You mean Servlet.
FrontEnd: Netbeans6.0Netbeans is not a front end to anything. It is an IDE.
Backend: Oracle9i db server
I need Jsp code and table creation code i want to create in the Database. This site is not a place to get codes. This site is a place to get help with codes you have written. This site is also not an Oracle or general database or SQL question support forum.
Pls help me out it is urgent. If it is urgent then you are cooked.

How to upload any file to the server using jsp/servlets. . Help me out

You can also try the Jenkov HTTP Multipart File Upload. It's a servlet filter that is easy to add to your web-project. After adding it, you can access both request parameters and the uploaded files easily. It's more transparent than Apache Commons File Upload. There is sufficient documentation to get you started, and there is a forum if you have any questions.
Jenkov HTTP Multipart File Upload is available under the Apache license, meaning its free to use.

  • How can i upload a image file to server by using jsp or servlet.

    Hi,
I m gurumoorthy. how can i upload a image file to server by using jsp or servlet without using third party API. pls anyone send me atleast outline of the source code.
    Pls send me anyone.
    Regards,
    Gurumoorthy.

I'm not an applet programmer so I can't give you much advice there.
If you want to stream the file from the server before it's entirely uploaded, then I don't believe you can treat it like a normal file. If you're just wanting to throw it up there and then listen to it, then you can treat it like a normal file.
But again, I'm not entirely certain. You might be able to stream the start of the file from the server while you're still uploading the end of it, but it probably depends on what method you're using to do the transfer.

  • How to invoke a jsp page from java which does not use Servlets?

    Hello,
I am working in Documentum. I am trying to invoke a jsp page from another java page which does not use Servlets.
I tried doing this by just instantiating the java class related to the jsp page from my present java class. In my java class related to the jsp page, I have defined onInit() and onRender() methods.
Now, I am trying to call the jsp page from my present java class by just instantiating the java class related to the jsp page. This throws a java.lang.NullPointerException.
Any comments or suggestions on this.Any help would be appreciated.

As this is the standard way used for coding in Documentum, I do not want to use Beans.Well, JSP's should, in and of themselves, contain no functional code. It should all be only display.
Without that is it not possible? What did I say? I said,

  • How to upload a file in BPEL Console Using JSP in JDeveloper, please help..

Please I am new to Jdeveloper and to BPEL Process of OASuite,I want to know , how to upload a file in BPEL process using JSP in Jdeveloper IDE.
The main aim is first we need to upload a file in JSP , it has to go to BPEL Process & it has to read the file & write the respective file in return to JSP through BPEL Process. Please I am in Urgent need of the Query , please help me ASAP.
    Send to me response Please.....................................

    Hi,
I thin that you asked the same question before and I premember that I ointed you to the ADF BC developer guide and the SRDemo if your application uses JSF. For plain JSP - if you Google for: JSP and file upload then you find plenty of sources for JSP and Struts.
The remaining part is how to stiff the file into a BPEL service on the middle tier. For this I recommended to ask your question on the BPEL forum
    BPEL
Note that the BPEL integration would be easier if it was done on the middle tier and not onthe client

  • How can WLS use JSP pages in a Web Application witth just a JRE [Web Application, WAR, JSP, weblogic.jsp.pageCheckSeconds and JRE]

How can WLS use JSP pages in a Web Application (either a .war file or a war directory structure) without a java compiler?
I suspect either the JSP specification is flawed (i.e. it doesn't take account of servers using just a JRE), or BEA's implementation is broken.
Production servers do not have a JDK installed. They only have a JRE. Therfore a java compiler is not present on the machine that the Web Application is deployed onto.
On the development machine, when the server is requested to load the JSP it creates a tmpwar directory within the Web Application directory structure. This is then included in the resultant .war file thus:
              D:\war>jar -tf gmi.war
              META-INF/
              META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
              gmiService.jsp
              WEB-INF/
              WEB-INF/classes/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/gmi/
              WEB-INF/classes/com/bt/gmi/gmiService.class
              WEB-INF/getList.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByConnection.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByDistrict.xsl
              WEB-INF/getListByDistrictConnection.xsl
              WEB-INF/lib/
              WEB-INF/source/
              WEB-INF/source/build.bat
              WEB-INF/source/gmiService.java
              WEB-INF/web.xml
              WEB-INF/weblogic.xml
              tmpwar/
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/_gmiservice.class
              tmpwar/jsp_servlet/_gmiservice.java
When deployed on the production server with the web.xml file set to use the following values (note XML stripped):
              weblogic.jsp.pageCheckSeconds
              -1
              weblogic.jsp.precompile
              false
              weblogic.jsp.compileCommand
              javac
              weblogic.jsp.verbose
              true
              weblogic.jsp.packagePrefix
              jsp_servlet
              weblogic.jsp.keepgenerated
              false
              And in the weblogic.properties file:
              weblogic.httpd.webApp.gmi=war/gmi
I've also tried with the .war file, but that insists on creating another tmpwar directory outside of the .war file.
Then, although I have set pageCheckSeconds to -1 (don't check and don't recompile) ter production server still attempts to recompile the JSP's:
              Mon Sep 25 11:40:11 BST 2000:<I> <WebAppServletContext-gmi> *.jsp: init

The default Java compiler from sun lives in the tools.jar that comes with
the JDK. Just add that to your set of JARs which are deployed in production
and you should be fine. No need to install the full JDK - just make the

  • Can I call JSP page from forms6i C/S?

    Hi.
How can I call JSP page from forms6i Client/Server?
    Flavio.

What is your problem with a host command? You can use:
    host('c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe http://server/page.jsp');
There a disadvantage indeed: you have to close the browser before you can return to the form.

The best approach would be to change the behavior of your site so that it includes index.jsp as one of the default files. Typically that is done using the upper-level control files of the site. Here's a link from Sun that describes their approach.
    http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/tutorial/doc/WebApp4.html
Actually, you don't say what type of webserver you're using, so it's really hard to guess. But if you were using an Apache webserver, you might want to review the "DirectoryIndex" directive here...
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_dir.html
In fact, if you were using Apache and didn't want to do that, you could do a redirect to another page using the "redirect" directive in the webserver control files as described here:
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.1/en/mod/mod_alias.html#redirect

  • How to open a JSP page from a form ??? plz help

    hi ..
i want to know how to open a jsp page from a oracle apps form using a button .

plz help me ..its urgent !! :-(

In portlet project, to navigate between pages, you should not use the URL property to link to a page. Instead, portlets use navigation via action handling. You use the Page Navigation editor to set up links to pages; that is, the navigation editor sets the action property.
Here is an example to hyperlink ans button to open a new page:
    # From within the IDE, create a new portlet project. This action creates the project and one page, PortletPage1.jsp.
    # Create a second portlet page, called PortletPage2.jsp, for the project.
    # Drop a Hyperlink component onto the first portlet page, PortletPage1. (You can drop the Hyperlink on the page in the Design window or on the PortletPage1 node in the Outline window.) Change the Hyperlink's text property to Next Page.
    # Drop a Button component (found in the Basic section of the Palette) onto the second portlet page, PortletPage2.
    # Open the Page Navigation Editor. It displays the two pages (PortletPage1.jsp and PortletPage2.jsp) of the application.
    # Click the PortletPage1.jsp icon in the Navigation window to expand it, and then drag a connector from hyperlink1 to PortletPage2.jsp. Change the name of the connector from case1 to Page2.
    # Click the PortletPage2.jsp icon in the Navigation window to expand it, and then drag a connector from button1 to PortletPage1.jsp. Change the name of the connector from case1 to Page1.
    # Run and deploy the portlet. The browser displays PortletPage1 and you should see the Next Page hyperlink. When you click the Next Page hyperlink, the Apache Pluto Portal server displays PortletPage2. Click the Page2 button to return to PortletPage1.

  • Problem using jsp:include from inside a custom tag

    Hi, All !
I have a problem using <jsp:include> from inside a custom tag. Exception is:
              "java.lang.ClassCastException: weblogic.servlet.jsp.BodyContentImpl"
Apparently, weblogic tries to cast BodyContentImpl to JspWriterImpl and
could not do this. Is it a bug, since in the 1.1 spec is said: "The
BodyContent is a subclass of JspWriter that can be used to process body
evaluations so they can retrieved later on."
              My code is:
              <wfmklist:items>
              <jsp:include page="item.jsp" flush="true"/>
              </wfmklist:items>

This is an area of contention with WL. It is not so tolerant with regards to
the spec. I spent several days recently trying to convince it to accept the
specification in regards to bodies and includes and it appears to have
              successfully rebuffed my efforts.
Frankly, this is very disappointing. It appears that some shortcuts were
taken on the way to JSP 1.1 support, and the result is a very hard-coded,
inflexible implementation. As I have not seen the implementation myself, I
hate to assume this, however one could posit that the term "interface" was a
foreign concept during the implementation, other than as some annoying
intermediary reference requiring an immediate cast to a specific Weblogic
class, which in turn is apparently required to be final or have many final
methods, as if being optimized for a JDK 1.02 JIT.
I am sorry that I don't have any positive suggestions other than to use a
URL object to come back in an execute the necessary "include" directly. You
lose all context (other than session) and that can cause its own problems.
However, you can generally get the URL approach to work, and you will
              hopefully avoid further frustration.
              Peace,
