Filter On Aging Month

Hi Team,
we need to give a condition like Filter on Aging month >6.
Here Aging in month is a formula variable in columns ,It is calculating two dates inside the formula variable.
while we are giving the condition in BEx side ,it is Exculding the condition in BEx side while I am importing to webi or BO side .
Please let me know how to Implement the condition in BEx side or webi side.

The result have to be displayed in two columns, something like
Month Total
'2011 / 04' 138
where 2011/04 is the value of current month and '138' is the sum of the measure for the next 12 months on the future.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. First delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder. If that doesn't fix the issue rebuild the library as follows: launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the first three options.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. How to set filter criteria for month and year using in timestamp input field?

I have one problem with Report generation,,,,,,I have one report table which is in the form of VO(query based) and i want to search this table as month and year basis
but in this table(query) that field having timestamp based value.. how to search with month name and year only.. Here i am using totally query base VO's for generating
reports........ Can any one guide me.

You can use a inputdate, which allows you to selecte a moth, year and a day. Once the selection is made you convert it to only allow moth and date like

          <f:convertDateTime pattern="MM/yyyy"/>
        </af:inputDate>

then you have a string holding month and year only. This value you split into two variables you or pass it as a whole parameter to the query and split it there.
Another way is to add two static lovs one for month and one for year and use them to get to the filter values.

Dynamic filter by Country, month and year

Hi,
I have a file extracted from SAP BI and incrusted in xls format in Xcelsius.
I have to filter data by Country, year, and month. I´ve seen the blog of Ingo Hilgefort 'Creating an Xcelsius dashboard on top of SAP BI that has a similar expanation of what I need to do.
Unfortunatelly, the problem I ´m facing is how to organize the data including the months in the spreadsheet incrusted in the Xcelsius.
What I have at the moment in the spreadsheet is a column with countries (9), an one column by KPI (10). Beside the last column I have the inserted data column for the countries so in the dashboard I can pick a country and shows me the KPI´s by country. What I still don´t found is how to make the selection also by month and year.
If anyone could help, I would be grateful.

It seems to be what i´m looking for. It is perfect to see the KPI´s by country and month in a year.
But with that spreadcheet i still cannot choose only the KPI´S year values by countries (independently of the month).
Another question I would like to make to you (as i told you i´m making my first steps in Xcelsius) is if you write the formula =BUSCARV($C$7;$C$17:$G$23;5;FALSO) manually into the excel.

Dynamic Date Range Filter - Rolling 15 Months

Hello All,
I'm having an issue with the below report filter:
Date.Date >= (TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH, 0, CURRENT_DATE)) AND Date.Date <= (TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH, 14, CURRENT_DATE))
The aim is for the above to return 15 months of data, today's date being 31/07/08 I would like all data to be returned from the 01/07/08 - 30/09/2009. The above filter however returns everything from the 31/07/2008 - 30/09/2008.
I have seen similar posts but never but have not come across a solution, any ideas?

Filter records with month and date

i have records as follows in the table.
custno trn_dt amount
1 01-jan-06 100
1 10-jan-06 200 --->
1 15-feb-06 300
2 15-dec-06 111
2 15-jan-06 222 --->
2 01-fen-06 333
If i specify the runtime parameter as JAN-06 the output of the report should be with 2 records indicated with arrows above.
the query should pick up the record with the highest date for a specific customer.
in the above example for customer "1" 10-jan-06 is highest date and for customer "2" 15-jan-06 is the highest date.

Using spry to filter age or date range?

I'm trying to create a spry filter to filter between age or date ranges. I can get the code to filter an age if it's greater or below a number, but not a range between numbers. How can I modify the following code to filter between a range of numbers? I would prefer to use drop down for age range choices so the user can choose each age from a drop down menu but I wasn't having much luck with it whereas the checkbox was somewhat working for me. If someone has a drop down method to select ages and have spry filter between the values I would be very grateful. Many thanks in advance!

Also as you can see from my modified html source, I want two separate drop downs: one for MINage and one for MAx age. From looking at my provided source I have a feeling that when a user clicks on one or the other drop downs it will trigger the function for that selection and cancel the other filter out, which is undesired. So I am wondering how to have two drop downs work to filter between min and max age where if a user clicks on one drop down it doesn't cancel the function of the previous filter selection.

Conv. based on the month - Need to display the output in quarterly basis.

Hi Gurus,
I need to display the output quarterly based on the month.
For example,
If the year is 2012 and month is between
01 to 03 i need to display it as 2012Q1
likewise 04 to 06 as 2012q2
and 07 to 09 as 2012q3
and 10 to 12 as 2012q4.
Please help me by providing sample codes. Please help yourself by writing the code and get back when you have a specific question.

To get the last 13 months in webi report .follow below approach
Assuming you have calendar Month object in the report.
convert your selected date into M/d/yy format . let's say you selected 12/18/13 , your variable should be 12/1/13
variable :
Selected Month =ToDate(FormatDate(useresponse("Date");"Mmm yyyy");"Mmm yyyy")
Flag for month =ToDate([CalMonth];"Mmm yyyy")<=[Selected Month]
Report filter =[Flag for month]+Previous(Self)
select the table you want to filter
add filter -> Report filter between 1 to 13.

My challenge at the moment is that I need to create a dynamic filter. To explain this is a cascading filter but not your normal cascading filter,
ie, Year/Month/day etc.
Here we have a single Dimension, Organisation. It contains every level of a business,
Site,
Dept,
Company name,
Division
Holding
Strategic Area
From these as a default we have 4 built hierarchies with a different combination of the above.
Activity (Strategic Area, Dept)
Organisation (company Name, site, Dept)
Sites (Division, Site)
Holdings(Holding, Strategic Area, site, Dept)
At any given time we have have additional Hierarchies created within the Dimension, further adding to the hierarchy list.
We now have a challenge where we require our users to be able to in the first filter select the Hierarchy they want to use, ie, Holdings, Site, Organisation
or Activity. This should then cascade to the second filter and contain the relevant hierarchy and levels as a multi select filter. Of course this also needs to be connected to number of graphs, charts and scorecards on the page, dynamically.
I have gone around the houses to get this to work but not having any luck. Tried the variety of filters available, MDX, member selection, tabular,
SharePoint, and attempted to mix and match to get this to work. I cannot find a way but I don't believe this is not possible.
If it is not possible we must look around for another front end solution for our BI Dashboards which I would prefer to avoid. Any response or suggestion
would be much appreciated.

This is possible within PerformancePoint 2010. Filters can be cascading. There is one restriction that might affect you, and that is the cascade only works on the preceding level. For example, let's say you have 4 filters, Country, County, City, postcode,
that have been set up in PerformancePoint as cascading filters. Now when you choose a country, say United Kingdom, only Counties within the UK will be displayed. That's exactly as you could expect. However, now if you select Norfolk county, all the cities
with "Norfolk" county will be available. That's including the cities within "Norfolk" Massachusetts. This is because PerformancePoint cascading filters only work between two levels.

TFS 2012 - TFS Cube - at beginning of new month it is missing in field "Work Item.System_CreatedDate__HierarchyByMonth"

We query TFS Cube via Pivot in Excel, and among other, we use the field Work Item.System_CreatedDate__HierarchyByMonth, to filter the result the Cube Pivot Report.
On the first day of each month, we manually change the value of this field in the pivot filter, from previous month to current month. but strangely the current month does not appear in the tree of values for selection, only the previous month is shown. This
is so for roughly half of the first day of the month, and then the current month begins to appear for selection.
The update rate of the TFS Cube in our TFS installation is defined as 2 hours, thus we would expect the current month to appear there for selection already early in the morning... Also to note it is the same after new WIs are defined during the
morning of the first day as above.

This issue only happened in your custom Excel pivot report? And all your TFS default reports working fine?
You can try to rebuild warehouse and cube from TFS Admin Console>>Application Tier>>Reporting>>click Start Rebuild option. Or try to manually process your TFS 2012 warehouse and analysis cube, ensure you can process successfully.

Customer aging analysis report layout

hi experts,
i have a client that needs the aging report to display in the following way. when doing an aging analysis for one month, all previous months invoices should be aggregated in one line as an opening balance. Then the invoices for the aging month should be listed under that opening balance and the aging schedule below should age the total of opening balance and the month's invoice. The way SAP Business One does the aging is such that EITHER the opening balance is displayed + the month's invoices but the aging schedule below is for that month's invoices only OR it lists all the invoices relating to that customer existing in the system and does the aging of the total invoices.
is there a way to generate the aging report as required above?

I am afraid you have to create your own version of the report for this specif requirement. To match the system report values exactly would be a great challenge if you haven't create hundreds of query reports already.

Change the column header according to the filter value ?

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement in which the customer wants to change the column header of the Sales Volume Key Figure to change according to the filter selected for the Calender Year / Month in the Free characteristics.
I could display the header as 'Sales Volume for OCT 2000' as this is the value restricted intially in the free characteristics for Calender Year / Month.

I have a requirement in which the customer wants the column header to reflect the 'keep filter value' restriction that he does dynamically in the query report.
i.e:
-- usually the kf column header shows 'sales volume'
-- column header with text variable of the Calender year / month variable -- 'sales volume for 2000 oct'
-- but when the report is run, if the user wants to go and change the filter: calender year / month > rt clk > keep filer value > select Jan 2003.
The kf column header still shows 'Sales Volume 2000 Oct'
How to make the column header change to 'sales volume for Jan 2003' ?
