FILTER ROW VALUE

Hi All,
I am trying to get resultset using 6 tables. I associating 6 tables and get the result.
Here with i copied my query

The above query search and where the SERVICE_ID is minkle with 6 tables then it retrieve the row. The above returns 1 service can have two or more relationship. It retrieves that all rows.
My requirement is at a time i need one service and its associated result
Can u suggest me how to solve this....

Any way to set color for value in chart and still filter out values (but retain colors)?

Is there any way that I can hard code a color into a chart and still filter out values?
I have 5 divisions, each with a specific color. I have put them into a stacked column chart and it looks fine. My issue arises when I try to filter out some of the divisions. The colors do not stay with the specified divisions.
Ex.)
Div 1 = Red
Div 2 = Green
Div 3 = Black
When I filter out Div 1, this is what I see:
Div 2 = Red
Div 3 = Green
I have tried standard delivered filter panel, and check-boxes using CHART_1.setDataSelection( )
It seems like the color hard coding in the "additional" properties of the chart are not tied to the value, but are determined by sort order. Any help is greatly appreciated

There is one Possibility bu not By chart .
It will look like chart but will use Text box .
Lets say you have 5 Divisions & 3 Key figures .
Then You need 5 * 3 = 15 Text box .
Arrange them in 5 columns and 3 rows type of view .
now .
set fix width for all .
set the height & position by coding
You need to set this type of code for filter selection also .

Question: How do I filter rows out of a query where multiple columns are equal to a single question mark character?
Background: I'm using SQL 2008 R2. Furthermore, the part of my brain that helps me create less-than-simple queries hasn't been working for the last 4 days, apparently, and now I need help.
We have about 4,000 rows in a table. This data set was generated from an exported report, and many of the rows in the detail table were not actual data rows but were simply "header" rows. For those table rows, most of the columns have
a single question mark as the value.
Some of the detail rows have one or more question mark values, too, so it's important that these rows don't get filtered out.
When I include criteria like "WHERE col1 <> '?' AND col2 <> '?' AND col3 <> '?' AND col4 <> '?'", all rows with a question mark value for even a single one of those columns get filtered out. How do I filter out rows
where all columns 1-4 contain a question mark value?

How to create calculation as a percentage of a row value

How do I create this calculation in OBIEE? It seems simple but I can't get the right results.
Let's say I have a field called Account with the following values:
Sales - 1000
Product Cost - 300
Operating Supplies - 100
Returns - 100
Fixed Costs - 300
I need to create a column that would be percentage of Sales. So my report would now show:
Sales - 100%
Product Cost - 30%
Operating Supplies - 10%
Returns - 10%
Fixed Costs - 30%
How do I do this? It's very easy for me to create a percentage of total calculation, but I can't create a percentage of a specific row.

Sales, Product Cost, etc are row values for Accountthis is where your complexity come in.
if those are individual measure labels then it would've been easy to achieve.
But, still can do one thing.
report split into two views: one will show normal values, other will be % side by side in compound layout.
1. create those many columns in criteria using filter() function, and name it as Sales, Product Cost
ex: for Product Cost heading column fx will b: 100*filter(Amount using Account = 'Product Cost')/filter(Amount using Account = 'Product Cost')
2. now, in pivot 2-> use each column as measures and add those many into measures part of pivot.
3. Drag Measure Labels to Rows part.
4. Add both the views to compound layout side by side.
(i'm assuming that we need to show actual and % values in report, if not you need not to go for pivot1, simply one pivot with above logic)
but it has got limitation like: if Account column is populated with one more value tomorrow.. it'll be a problem..

Result Row value Issue

Hi All,
I have created a query which has multiple selection & formula in it. One of my formula is not working properly.
Description of the issue:
Key figure is "no. of Shipment"
A calculated key figure "Total no of Shipment" is capturing the result row value of "No of Shipment".
But some time it doesn't work as expected. I don't know why.
For example if I select a week range then it dosen't work. I have used the "Total no of Shipment" in no. of other calculated key figure for calculation.
Meaning for %On-Time = (On-Time A%Total no of Shipment)
Below query is filter by fiscal week =Result
Plant|FiscalWeek|NoofShipments|Totalnoof Shipments|%OnTm
=====       ======   ========= ==========    ========
A |        Result |     98    |    78    |       104.10 %
Here "Total no. of Shipment" should be 98 but is not able to pick up the Result value & it getting 78...I don't know from where it get the number.
Please let me know if any body has faced similar case or is there any OSS note to fix the issue.

Hi Rishi,
I tried as per you're suggestion. It didn't work.
See my key figure is "No.Of Shipment" & formula is
"Total no. of Shipment" = SUMCT (No.Of Shipment)
So whenever the result row of "No.Of Shipment" changes then "Total no. of Shipment" should pick up the value.
Please let me know if you have any other solution.

How to Control the width of the Filter row in Table View

Hi !
I have a Table View with filter='application'. The filter works fine but I am not able to control the width of the columns of the tableview .
On filtering, if there are not items in the table view the columns shrink to the minum width....and it looks very odd.
Can you help me how to control the width of the Filter-Row in Table Veiw.

"FIXEDCOLUMN" did not help in the width of the column, but it just showed all the rows merged in the column.
I have a cloumn called "COUNTRY" and its width is set to "20". The Filter of the column "COUNTRY" is a dropdownlist whos value is update with new values.
On filtering if there is any row visible then the column width is adjusted to the maxmimum length of the dropdownlist ( this is because of the "EDIT" attribute in column definition ). But if there is no rows visiblel for the selected filter value then the filter row shrinks to the width = "20" and the dropdownlist is not visible completely.
Need to know how to control the width of the FILTER column.

The issue is caused by the order in which the parameters appear in the report data tab can be difference between our report execution and it failing. In other words, “Parameter2” is execution before parameter “A” due to this issue. We can adjust the parameter’s
order to solve the issue.
If “Parameter2” is parameter “A”, we cannot use that expression. Because fields cannot be used in report parameter expression, if we want to display the first value returned from a query as default value, we have to fill the “Specify values” text box with
the specific value in Default Values dialog box.

Can anyone please refresh my memory on how to concatenate multiple row values into a single column value.
In the following query, I will get multiple denial reasons per application and I would rather return all denial reasons on one line.

How to get current row value from table when press the submit button

I want to get the current row value of SuccessionPlanId which is one of the column in a advanced table.
I created one button (created using personalization, action fired thru CO)in the table as column, so each row having one button, if i press the first row's button means then i want to fetch the first row's SuccessionPlanId and if it is 3rd means then i want to get the value of third row's value.
How to do it in controller extension?

Yes, I tried with 'delete' button which is seeded one.
For this, our code using row reference is working too fine. it throws exact SuccessionPlanId value of corresponding row.
I created MessageStyledText, but here i need to give text value right, then only it 'll appear in the page.
Instead i created one image and fired explicitly from the controller processRequest method.
But the same problem remains..

I have added a Cutom Managed Bean Class and Returning boolean value to Control Render property which is working. But now i want to add business Logic based on 'parent.ItemName' or 'parentNode' Values in the bean method to return proper Boolean value.
But i am unable to get the Current Iteration values in the bean method.

Hi Sascha,
I have tried that. But in my case the functional logic behind the Rendering is based on more complex logic. Hence i am trying to add a method to return a boolean in Render property of the Link.
But the real problem for me is, in the Managed bean method i am not finding a way to get the Current Iteration index. If i can get the Current iteration index, i can get the Corresponding Component ID of Command link (In the forEach Loop Component Id's are getting generated Dynamically based on Iteration Index), i can use that and add additional logic and derive true/false to return.
Any inputs?

How to capture the row value in Advanced Table on OAF ?

I was wondering, if anyone has any idea as to how to capture a row value on an advanced table on a OAF Page.
I am currently trying to capture the Expense Report Number ( first column) on the Track Expenses Reports table on the page /oracle/apps/ap/oie/webui/HomePG.

Hide row values for certain column in GRR2

Hi Experts,
Looking for some help in report painter. I need to hide row values for certain columns in report painter. The requirement is I have 5 columns in the report, the 5 th column is the sum of col 1 to 4 and in my row i have a formula setup to sum of values for each column, what i would like to do is for column 1 thru 4 i didnt want to display the total values in row total but i wanted to dispaly value for column 5 in row total. I have been trying my best with putting formula, but couldnt succeed.
Could somebody let me know is there an way to get this addressed.

How was it achieved ? Did you use sections for the columns for which rows needed to be hidden?

Problem in reading the row values in table display format.

   I created UI asTable display format using three columns( name, email and resume ).
In this Resume column type is Link to Action. This entire column contains text as Resume - this element type is Link to action.
When click on Resume that respective row values I have to capture.
I have used following code, but It is capturing based on lead selection. ( On the UI, lead selection row is different and clicking on Resume row is different ).

   Just declare a variable in the parameters of the method,which u declare for the cell action.
