Filters getting applied on a metric in report when that is not required

Issue:
We have two metrics in the AP Report :
DSO and Overall DSO
DSO = Closing Amt / (Invoice Amt/#of Elapsed Days)
Overall DSO = Closing Amt / (Invoice Amt/#of Elapsed Days) , but we have set the Logical Level on Dimensions Suplier , Comapny etc to Total
Closing Amt inturn is calculated based on three separate amts ( Current Closing Bal Amt - Bal Delta Amt + AP Posted Amt)
During the Overall DSO calculation :
Bal Delta Amt and AP Posted Amt gets calculated without the filters getting apllied on the Supplier, Company dim which is correct
But the Current Closing Bal Amt query brings in the filters on the Supplier, Company dim which is wrong.
DSO calcualtion is correct but for Overall DSO we dont want the filters to be applied on the Current Closing Bal Amt.
Not sure what is causing the issue.

iTunes can't find your media files, which are normally located in ~/Music/iTunes. Try a Spotlight search on your computer for your media files, and move them back into that location. If you can't find your files, then try going to your backup drive, if you have one.

I have been able to sign PDF documents with Adobe Acrobat versions 6 and 9 with my code signing certificate. When I use my code signing certificate Acrobat says the validity of the document certification is unknown.

Per existing standards (RFC 5280) code signing certificates may not be used for signing. For a number of versions Acrobat had a bug that ignored this requirement. Starting with version 11.0.07 Acrobat (and Reader) enforces this requirement.

I don't know that you can purchase in one country and use it in another. Try contactoing Adobe support thru chat:

Report computers that do not have installed CDROMDrive

Using powershell I am attempting to get a report based on a predefined list of computers that shows which do not have a CDROMDrive.
Here is a sample of how I was attempting to generate the report. The problem is that if a computer does not have a CDROMDrive there is not output.

My current code is working in that it's output shows the CDROMDrives available on each computer.
The code is not working in that it returns no information if a computer does not have any CDROMDrives available. I need the output to show computers that do not have CDROMDrives specifically.

Creating a Report that Does Not Require a Target

I have several reports I'm building that work across all systems of a particular type. For example, I want to create a table of all of the systems with all of their software versions, another table with all of the systems and all of their free capacities and raid profile types (to best select a system to allocate capacity on) ...
As such, I would like to build a report where I do NOT have to choose a specific target. Is this possible?
My report definitions allow me to choose a type, but I can't find a way to say "but don't require a target", here is the report metadata for reference...

It is a bit more complex, but I will boil this down:
- Yes, I'm using the term System loosely, I am doing a query across a bunch of appliances in one case, there is no target identifier associated with it and, as such, the SQL does NOT include a where clause like i.TARGET_GUID = ??EMIP_BIND_TARGET_GUID?? so I would prefer the user does not have to select this
- In another case I am in a detail report and do not want the user to have to choose the target (you can refer to another post on this), but basically, I get a table back using the BIND_TARGET, the user can click a column to get details on the adapter (for example), they click on it and are confronted with a target selection. I would rather "carry over" the target selection from the master report or I suppose I could "hide" the target GUID in the master report and then pass it as a parameter (my detail reports, in this case, are not home page reports and can only be accessed through the master report)
Either way, I don't want to be confronted by the target selection.

How do I get to my bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar that do not show because my window size does not allow them to show?

In the 3.x versions of Firefox there was an area after your last bookmark in the bookmark toolbar where you you could click and access all your bookmarks in the toolbar if the window size was not big enough to show them all.
Now in 4.o all that shows are the bookmarks in the toolbar that fit in the window size. So if I have my browser window set to 900 pixels I can only see the bookmarks in the toolbar that fit in that area and I have no way of getting access to the ones that are not showing unless I make my window bigger. But even then my window can only get so large because of my monitor size at which point I can not access any of the other sites in the bookmark toolbar.
Am I missing something or is there a glitch in the 4.0 version?

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately there is no chevron sign after the last bookmark nor after the "Bookmarks" text that if clicked takes me to all my regular bookmarks and oddly does not even list my Bookmarks Toolbar folder. If I want to get into my bookmarks toolbar folder I have to the top menu and click "Bookmarks" next to the "History" link and then navigate to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder. Something odd is definitely going on and it's getting annoying.
Any suggestions welcome. I attached a screen shot so you can see.

How to get rid of pix in my iphoto library that are not imported?

I needed to clear the memory card of my husband's camera recently, and didn't have the canon software installed on my computer. So I tried using iphoto, but it crashed because the movies are high resolution and I guess iPhoto couldn't handle it. I managed to get them transferred another way, but now every time I launch iPhoto I get a message telling me that there are images in my iPhoto library that are not imported, and asking if I want to import them. If I try to import them, iPhoto crashes again. If I say "cancel" I get the same message again next time. I tried going into the finder to get rid of them but don't know where they are. No matter what I try to throw away, I still get the same message. How to get rid of those photos?

You could also have used Image Capture in your Applications Folder.

iPhoto managed high resolution just fine. Perhaps you don't have the correct codec.
To solve you more immediate problem: go to your Pictures Folder and there you'll see your iPhoto Library Folder. Open it and inside you'll see a folder called 'Importing' or something close to that. Drag it to the desktop. Restart iPhoto. Does that help?

URL to run a report file that is not located in $ORACLE_HOME/reports dir

All,
I know very little about configuring reports on the web.
We have had a 10g App Server running for several years. All of our reports files so far have been located in the Middle Tier's $ORACLE_HOME/reports directory.
We now have a need to create sub-directories under the reports directory and run reports out of those sub-directories.
After poking around the documentation, I'm not seeing how to do this.
For example:
$ORACLE_HOME/reports (has some legacy reports files in it)
$ORACLE_HOME/reports/EI22 (new directory where we want to put EI22 related reports)
$ORACLE_HOME/reports/EI23 (new directory where we want to put EI32 related reports.....etc)
Normally, to run my reports in the $OH/reports directory, I use an URL like the following:
http://hostname.domainname/reports/rwservlet?report=reportfilename.rdf&userid=uname/pwd@dbname&desformat=html&destype=cache
How would I run a report file that now resides in the EI22 or EI23 directory?

As far as I know there is only one SourceDir property, you can assign multiple folders to it ... then at runtime you do not specify anything else in the URL, the reports server will look into each directory in the SourceDir (in order) for the report that you're trying to execute...
If you have multiple versions of the same report located in the same server, then that's tricky because at runtime the reports server will execute the one from the directory where it finds it first.
I personally prefer setting the REPORTS_PATH and having multiple ENVID sections that way in the URL I directly specify the ENVID which where the report is to be executed from...
Here at work we used it for multiple applications with totally independent folders, so each application uses its own ENVID to invoke the reports.
If you do not care/want this type of structure then use the SourceDir property that Andreas has mentioned and you do not need to add anything to your URL.

Discoverer - creating reports / letters that are not just a "grid" layout

I am just starting to work with Oracle Discoverer for possible replacement reporting tool for us.
The big issue that I have right now is that Discoverer puts all results in a spreadsheet type format. That is you cannot add labels, section breaks, ect. You really cannot format any of the results (other than standard sorting ect) to produce a nice report look or a letters ect.
We have a department that creates many reports with our current BI tool, and they never use a standard grid layout for reports, they always have more of a customized report look and feel with even images ect. added to it.
If reports and letters are not possible to do in Discover, what is the solution? Is Oracle Reports the solution that most users use to create custom report or letter?
Please feel free to let me know how you are currently creating custom reports and letters in Discoverer.

Discoverer allows you to create your queries/presentations using Discoverer Plus and use the formatting option to manage the presentation of that data to your Discoverer community.
Once the presentations are defined you share these same presentations with your report builders who would typically use Oracle Reports. Discoverer has an export facility to provide a link to Oracle Reports. This allows report builders to create layout specific formats for further distribution.

Why is Firefox creating pending crash reports when it's not crashing?

I am running Windows XP SP3 and Firefox 9.0.1.
I have 31328 files in Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\pending constituting 342MB. The oldest files are from July 2010 and, for example, there are 88 files there created today and 324 files created yesterday.
My question is why is Firefox creating these crash report files when Firefox is not crashing? My last Firefox crash was too long ago to remember exactly.

I think I figured out my problem. Even though Firefox wasn't crashing, apparently some of my plugins were causing conflicts and creating these pending crash reports. Firefox doesn't keep your plugins up-to-date, you have to do it manually. I used https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ to see which of my plugins were outdated. Of the outdated plugins, I updated the ones I recognised and disabled the ones I didn't (disable plugins by going to Tools - Add-ons, and click on the Plugins tab). And that seems to have stopped the crash reports being created.

How do i get rid of duplicate songs on my ipad that are not in itunes

I have multiple devices and recently joined iCloud and iMatch. My problem is that on my iPhone 4 and iPad when I connect they show that I have 4800 songs on them. I only have 1400. The extra songs are not on itunes and are not on the devices. If I select the device drop down and the look at music I can see all 4800 and it's multiple duplicates of songs that I own with a Syncing symbol by them. I can not select them, delete them or anything. But they are taking up space on my devices according to iTunes. iDeas? This is on a PC Win 7

It sounds like you have deleted song music from your iTunes library on the computer but after syncing the phone to your computer the songs are still on the phone. From what you describe it seems as if iTunes and the iPhone are set to Manually Manage the content. This article will help you determine of that is the case:

How do I get a replacement for a broken phone when I did not have insurance on it?

So my phone apparently got some dust and dirt in it. Tried to clean it out with a qtip and rubbing alcohol, but to no avail. It was literally sitting on my desk still doing things like buttons were pushed. There is nothing to be done about it, it's probably beyond repair with how messed up it is.
Anyways is there anyway to get a replacement for it? I was able to activate an old phone to use for now(hoping they don't hit me for charges because I did that)
But they don't even make the phone that I was using anymore, so is there any hope to get a replacement for the time being? I can't upgrade til February anyways when my contract runs out. Sitting here unsure what to do. I can't go around with a 5 year old phone. It is not going to work for me besides for phone calls/text.
I know with the insurance you can pay $50 to get a replacement but what are the chances they will help me if I didn't have insurance. Asking here first in case someone knows anything plus I'm sure support line isn't open.

I had a Samsung Intensity 3 which is no longer offered. Buttons were sticking and it was dialing and doing functions that I didn't even touch at the time. It as possessed it seemed like. Thus me losing my mind and it "breaking" I've since had to activate my old Intensity 2 just to get by because you guys want too much for a replacement. And that would only be for 6 months til I decide what to do on my contract.
Currently trying to find another phone from a friend who may have upgraded, because I can't take using a 4 year old phone.
