Finally got order now what???
Ok, I was finally able to get more order in for the iPhone 3Gs, (had to pay $499). But am now wondering how the process will work? When it arrives, do I need to just swap out the sim card and plug it into iTunes, or do I need to take it into an ATT store? Also, on my invoice it claims "special order" and it lists "no voice plan". I am hoping that this isn't so, and that it will just take over my other plan.

I have the same thing - the "no voice plan" just means that you didn't purchase a new line or plan, and that the phone is an upgrade of an existing phone under contract. You don't swap the SIMs - they are tied to the IMIE of the phone. I've never done it, but activating the new phone in iTunes should replace it in your plan with AT&T. I would contact AT&T first to be sure.

As a new userof Workshop, I'm having a bit of trouble coming up to speed with XMLBeans.
Gettting a schema to compile was easy enough. That process is well documented.
But
now what?
For starters, the schema compile produced the following warning:

I'd like to know what the issue is, but recompile what? I can only find a new
jar
file (containing no source) resulting from the process. If there is any source
left over
from the generation process, I can't find it.
Next, how can I see what's in the generated classes? I know there are predictable
classes/methods generated in the production of the XMLBeans, but it sure would
make things easier if there were some kind of source code to refer to or some
generated
doc. specifying what I've got available to work with.
Finally, the tutorial examples skim over what the requriements for imports are.
Maybe I'm just dumb, but I really can't figure out from the examples what's
needed for import in my own code to work with my newly generated XMLBean.
Any help will be appreciated.

Eudora to Mail: got mailboxes, now what about attachments?
I've finally had to give up on Eudora, even though Mail STILL doesn't do all the nice things Eudora does, but I haven't found any other alternatives. I'm running OSX 10.6.8 on a MacBook Pro...not going to Mavericks yet because of imcompatible software at work.
I was able to successfully import all my mailboxes, with all messages apparently intact, EXCEPT the associated attachments are no longer available. How do I get the attachments over from Eudora to Mail, or is that asking too much? I can still find them one at a time by going back to the old Eudora folder in Documents, if I really have to, but that's cumbersome.Well, I may not give up on it entirely, especially since I still like it so much more than Mail, but I've been running into enough glitches that I feel I should be prepared. Been using it since 1996, through several upgrades of hardware and software. Eudora 6.2 runs okay on my 2007 MacBook 10.4.11 but on my MacBook Pro 10.6.8 it tends to get a bit buggy at times, which always makes me wonder when something major will happen. What panicked me this past week was that my In box suddenly decided to empty itself! Not one single email, nothing. Thank goodness I back up, but restoring was a real pain. Plus I know Eudora won't work when I finally have to upgrade my OS.
So I'm currently simultaneously downloading email to both Eudora and Mail, just to cover my bases. Not an ideal solution but it gives me some peace of mind. But if I can't access attachments of imported emails, it may be more trouble than it's worth at this time. -

I have a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact.
Today I turned on the wireless, clicked the "Gmail" official application to read my emails. Then the phone started doing things itself, so it went to "Settings menu button", "uninstall" and was trying to uninstall "CM Security", but i turned off the wireless button from my modem in time. So he could'nt uninstall it.
First two seconds that my phone was connected to internet/wireless started this...
Seems someone was remote controlling my mobile phone. The phone was responing to my clicks and also to the attacker clicks at the same time.
Now I uninstalled half of apps on my phone, and I have not connected it to the internet anymore.
I also changed the google password from my pc.
I am really worried, what should I do now???I've had a quick chat on the phone with one of my people and they do know of such things but have stressed that this is only possible if Bluetooth is enabled or wifi and connected to a network which means someone on the same network has or was doing this - If it's bluetooth and lets say one of the friends sent you an app to sideload via bluetooth then consider this person to not be a friend - To fully clean your phone I would not recomend a factory reset I would in cases like this perform a system repair see below for details
This will factory reset your phone
Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Got drivers now what - bluetooth.
My phone will pair but not connect with a Dell laptop running win7.1, some of the bluetooth services, eg AAS have no driver in std windows.
I googled up and downloaded the sony pack od bluetooth drivers "Xperia_Z3_Compact_driver.zip", but what now.
I tried the right click inf file install, windows says the inf files do not support that methood of installation.
I tried updating the drivers from control panel, windows said no drivers were found in the folder.
What next.

I tried updating my iphone 4 to 7.1.1 and it went straight into recovery mode.... I finally got my iphone out of recovery mode, but now it won't accept my Icloud info and states "An error occrured while trying to save the Icloud account?" What do I do????
Same situation. I installed iOS 8 beta 4 on my iPhone 5 and a few days later my iCloud account disappeared. My contacts and calendar entries are gone.
My Mac Mini and MacBook do sync as they should with iCloud.
When I try to log in to iCloud on the iPhone (the username shows "[email protected]" and password shows "required"), I put in my username and password and tap "Sign In", It says "Verifying" at the top and after a while checkmarks appear next to my username and password. Then I get an error message saying "An error occurred while trying to save the iCloud account". If I tap OK the message goes away, leaving my username and password intact (checkmarks are now gone). If I tap "Sign In" again I get a message saying " '[email protected]' is Already Added. This iCloud account has already been added to your iPhone". If I go back to Settings and then go into iCloud again it's not set up and appears as I stated at the beginning of this paragraph.
Nothing works and the sync does not occur. Contacts are empty and Calendar has no entries. -

You have to download and run the upgrader then launch iPhoto. Go to the utilities folder in Applications and launch the iPhoto upgrader. Then launch iPhoto and it will upgrade the library

Are you running Time Machine? If so, there is a bug. You can solve this by
1) Go to System Preferences/Time Machine Preferences and turn off Time Machine
2) Now Share or Finalize your movie
3) Don't forget to go back and turn Time Machine back on -
i just got an ihome system and had trouble with it connecting to my iPhone. I finally got it to work and now my itunes doesn't recognize my phone. My software is up to date on both my Mac and my iPhone and I have shut everything down and restarted. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?

I had Snow Leopard, and up-graded to Mavericks, and did the various up-grades in iPhoto to become compatible with
Maverick. Today, when I tried to open iPhoto I got this message: "iPhoto Library is locked, on a locked disk, or you do
not have permission to make chages to it". Now what? I can't access my iPhoto Library.First open the iPhoto Library package with the Finder as shown in this screenshot:'
Look for the file named iPhotoLock.data and move it to the Trash in the Dock. Launch iPhoto and see if that helped.
If not Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

hi, I finally got lucky and past the "other" memory status issues when syncing. Now I'm "waiting for changes to be applied" sync stuck all night (itunes yesomite iPhone 6 plus). is this a bug? I have not had a single successful sync with yesomite.
please help. this issue prevents music from syncing. I have set the sync setting to convert songs to 192kbps AAC to save space, I figure that could slow the sync
down, but it's hanging indefinitely (I've left it for 24 hours with out it completing.)
the the only music that appears on the phone are songs purchased from the iTunes Store. 95% of my collection are rips from my CDs.
thank you for any help!Yeah it's pretty sad that $1000 phone they put out you such cheap memory It causes issues, I have iPhone 6+128 GB actually this is the second brand-new one they gave me because they keep affording it trying to act like that's not the issue because they're too stupid to know how to check what memory is in each one before they give it to me when I have told them multiple times my back up runs perfectly fine on two 5s phones and a 6 64GB of course running MLC memory.
I told them it's because just like the write ups say I have 809 apps but I have not even put all my music on the phone so I'm still running 50 to 60 gigs free and it crashes and reboots itself sometimes in multitasking and more often than it does that in between multitasking I get a black screen for 1 to 2 seconds in between apps and upon start up the Apple logo screen will flicker and do weird things, One of the genius idiots asked me if I could just delete some of my apps, really that's the answer to fix the phone the customer needs to limit the amount to apps they put on their phone, why the **** get a 128 gig if you can't put on anything you want to it guess they need to start selling them saying you can only put a limited number of apps on them, it's really is a **** joke, I have over $20,000 of Apple merchandise easily and always get the new phone every year but I'm starting to reconsider my decisions in the future because this company is starting to go downhill, The reason water not recalling the phones is because they're dealing with their top-of-the-line thousand dollar phones in this case and most people don't have over two or 300 apps so they're not having as many issues, so basically they have messed up phones they just don't know it in their hands and Apple is just too **** greedy to recall the phones, they'd rather sell customer spends that only work half ***.
Stuff like this will be the downfall of their company, all the people that stay with them because as long as you don't jailbreak their stuff it normally just works without issue will be soon jumping ship if stuff like this keeps up, because I can guarantee they got me thinking now.
not that I wanted to know or should I be expected to but I even offered for them to open up my brand-new phone and just replace the memory to MLC memory which is something I shouldn't have to do with a brand-new **** phone, they should just make one with the right memory and give me a new phone, actually just don't sell customers that buy the top-of-the-line phone from you trash ones in the first place that would be a great option.
what burns me up the most is when you talk to AppleCare and Genius Bar they try to act like the issue isn't there and they're unaware of it, they say that Apple hasn't come out with any information about it, yeah that's because they don't want to recall the trash.
Apple has became nothing better than your run-of-the-mill company, android is becoming just as good as they are sad to say this since I have been an Apple fan for so long but there is no excuse for BS like this they have been looking for options to fix my phone for a month now this is not the way you should treat loyal customers, I would've been better off keeping my 5S and in the future just switching to android.

I just replaced my iPhone 5 because of a cracked face. I backed up the old phone to iTunes. When I tried to restore my data off of iTunes to the new phone, I got an error message saying that iTunes could not restore the iPhone because not enough free space is available on the new iPhone. Now what?

Before I restored my ipod, I backed it up then I updated and restored. The problem is when I went to put everything back on it, I got a message saying that an error writing to the device, can not sync. Then another message appeared saying that "the required disc can not be found. Now what do I do?

The D610 didn't get out-of-the-box RAW support until Photoshop CC.
You can either upgrade to CC or use the DNG Converter to convert and open your DNGs in CS5. -
