Financial Report/Batch report deletion by mistake

Hello Gurus,
We seemed to have deleted one of the Financial Reports and one batch report from the Workspace folder.
Is there any way to check and see if it is stored in some place in the hyperion directory.
Thanks

A financial report is stored in both the RAF relational repository and within the RAF data directory, when you delete the report it will be removed from both these locations.
Cheers

  • Financial Reporting batch reports run slow at random

    FR reports version: 11.1.2.1
    This is a summary of our environment:
    -Linux server where Hyperion batch reports run
    -Linux (SLES-11) server where Essbase resides
    -Windows 2008 server where Hyperion Print Service and GhostScript reside
    This is what we observed this morning:
    Batch reports are executed serially by a master shell script.
    One of these reports takes 30+ minutes to complete. The exact same report usually completes in less than 3 minutes.
    This problem occurs 3 to 5 times each morning, and not necessarily on the same report.
    While the report shows ‘Running’ in the Hyperion Batch Scheduler, there is no process present on reports server. There is no active session on Essbase. There is no active print process on the print server.
    Eventually, the report completes successfully and the pdf file is present on reports server.
    We haven’t been able to determine where the process is during the period that it appears to be stuck. The best we can do is to look at the status on the Batch Scheduler. It is not a practical option for us to schedule everything using the Batch Scheduler on a daily basis.(this is what Oracle is suggesting, by the way).
    Has anybody experienced similar FR batch reports slowness?
    Thanks.

    IT parsed the HTML into csv so that another program could compare a Trial Balance from HFM with a Trial Balance from the source GL system to ensure all data got imported to HFM.

  • Exporting scheduled financial report batches with LCM

    Hi folks. Running 11.1.1.3 EPM here.
    I'm trying to use LCM to export scheduled Financial Reporting batches. When I am in Shared Services under Reporting and Analysis, under the Scheduled Objects drilldown, I don't see any scheduled objects yet I have about 200 FR batch reports scheduled on my dev server.
    Am I looking in the wrong place to export these or is there another way?
    Thanks,
    Tom

    Sorry I wan't aware the folder structure was different in 11.1.2. I found this on the LCM admin guide:
    Default value: This parameter is commented out and the Lifecycle Management engine uses the default file system location on the Shared Services computer; for example:
    MIDDLEWARE_HOME/user_projects/epmsystem1/import_export/username@ProviderName.
    Do you see it now?

  • PLEASE HELP!  members deleted after refreshing, current report and report layout

    Hi ,
    First of all , before explain my issue, I read the note about March Microsoft update, and my symptoms aren't exactly similar but almost the same.
    And it appeared last week, so one month after the ms update.
    So, I opened my report, and I see that current report and report layout are greyed out,
    I try to refresh the report and some members in rows axis are deleted.
    I'm only  one to have this problem in my team.
    Is there anybody able to solve my issue please ?
    Thanks in advance
    Jonas
    P.S  sorry for my english.

    Hi Marco,
    First of all, sorry to reply long a time after you answer but I was so very busy with another things.
    In fact, It's was a mistake, It's sure that it's not about an update. My issue comes only when I save my report in a different server, When I'm in the  source server,  I select the target server with  "Select Another Connection" process And I save my report in the target server.
    After that,  lot of members are dissapeared in my row axis.
    I don't know why.

  • Stopping a batch report

    I have a batch report that is locked up in the "running" status. How can I kill it? It was set up using the batch scheduler in workspace. I can delete the line item, but it always returns and is back in running status.
    Thanks

    Never mind. It eventually cleared itself after I deleted it. It just several minutes (and returned as "running" while completing the delete process). At least I hope this is how it worked.

  • Delete Reports from Reporting Server

    Hi,
    We have created and scheduled some test reports via Idera performance tool but we are unable to delete the reports. These are not custom reports and reports created with Schedule Email option in Idera. Unfortunately, I dera does not have any option to delete
    these reports and support is asking me if I tried this by deleting from SQL Server Reporting Services.
    I looked at the Reporting services but can't find any place to delete these reports. This link does not help me because I don't have these (Or Report Manager)----> Configuration Manager console, navigate to
    System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database /
    Computer Management / Reporting / Reporting Services
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc678417.aspx
    All I have is "Reporting Services Configuration Manager" under "Configuration Tools". How can I delete these reports from SQL Server Reporting services ?. Can I delete them from some tables in Reports databases ?. If so, what are the
    tables ?. I delete the jobs from SQL Server but the jobs are automatically created the next day emailing the reports again......Thanks for any help.
    SQL Server 2012 SP2 - Windows 2008 R2.

  • Bug report: tranlations not deleted from WWV_FLOW_DYNAMIC_TRANSLATIONS$

    Hello, apex team and Joel Kalman.
    Bug(?) report: Translations not deleted from WWV_FLOW_DYNAMIC_TRANSLATIONS$ on application replacement with importing from sqlplus using apex_application_install package.
    My environment:
    Oracle XE 11g Linux 64bit.
    Apex 4.1.1.
    Development app 110.
    Production app 111.
    How to reproduce:
    Simple way (not checked for 4.1.1):
    Export application 110 by using builder or APEXexport.
    Import application 110 ten times, then look into dynamic translation. Each translation repeats 10 times.
    Checked way to reproduce this bug in in 4.1.1:
    Repeat this 10 times to see how dynamic translations is multiplied in app 111.
    Export app 110 with bash command:
    $ java oracle.apex.APEXExprt -db xxx.private:1521:XE -user apex_040100 -password `cat secret.txt` -applicationid 110 -skipExportDate -expTranslations
    Import with this script (as apex_040100 user)
    declare
    l_workspace_id number;
    begin
    select workspace_id into l_workspace_id
    from apex_workspaces
    where workspace = 'PROD';
    apex_application_install.set_workspace_id( l_workspace_id );
    apex_application_install.set_application_id(111);
    apex_application_install.generate_offset;
    apex_application_install.set_schema( 'PROD' );
    apex_application_install.set_application_alias( 'FPROD_APP' );
    end;
    @../f110.sql
    Workaround:
    Run this script before each import:
    DELETE FROM apex_040100.WWV_FLOW_DYNAMIC_TRANSLATIONS$
    WHERE flow_ID = 111;
    If it is not a bug, please, explain me better way to workaround it for me.
    Vladimir

    Hi Vladimir,
    +>> Hello, apex team and Joel Kalman.+
    Actually, it's Kallman. But I'm not complaining...I get plenty of emails from within Oracle addressing me as "Joe".
    This is definitely a bug. It isn't disastrous, but it's slightly worse than you even presented. I found that if you manually delete an application from within the Application Builder, the dynamic translations remain as well. They could potentially be orphaned forever.
    Your workaround, while not recommended to directly manipulate the APEX schema, would clear up the excess data. Also, a way to reduce the effects of this problem is simply to set the offset to what was initially generated the first time you imported application 110 as 111.
    I didn't write this logic, but I'll fix it. There isn't a FK on this table and I believe there should be.
    Bug 13801751 is filed, to be fixed for APEX 4.2.
    Thanks for reporting this.
    Joel

  • What is a batch report !

    please give me an example of hoe to create a batch report !

    Hi,
    Creating batch reports
    To create a batch report follow this procedure:
    Expand IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center → My Reports.
    Right-click the Batch Reports node and select Create Batch Report.
    Note: If the batch report you want to create is similar to an existing one, click the name of the existing report, edit it and save it using a different name.
    Click the Report tab and select the type of report you want to create and move it from Available to Current Selections by clicking . See Selecting batch report options for details of the tab contents.
    Click the Selection tab and refine the criteria for selecting and displaying report data. Some options might not be available for all reports.
    Select a profile for controlling which data is collected. This option is not available for all reports. See Using profiles for information about profiles.
    Click Selection to specify the resources (for example, computers) that will be displayed in the report. This option is not available for all reports. For details about selecting resources, see Selecting resources to appear on a report.
    Click Filters to apply filters the data that you want to display (for example, show only the machines that contain over 80% used space). For details about applying filters, see Filtering the resources that appear on a report.
    Select the columns you want to include in the report and move them from Available Columns to Included Columns by clicking .
    Use the Selection page to:
    Click the Options tab of the Batch Report job window, specify the following:
    The machine on which the report file will be saved
    The report format (for example, HTML)
    Whether to run a script when the report process is complete
    The format for the name of the batch report
    See Selecting batch report options for details of the tab contents.
    In the When to Run tab of the Batch Report job window, specify when and how often to run the batch report. See Scheduling a batch report for details of the tab contents.
    In the Alert tab of the Batch Report job window, define the conditions that will trigger an alert and the method of notification (for example, e-mail). See Defining alerts for batch reports for details of the tab contents.
    Click File → Save and type a name for the batch report. The batch report will be saved using your user ID as a prefix. For example, if you are logged onto IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center as "Smith," the name of the batch report will be Smith.report_name.
    Selecting batch report options
    Define on what agent computer the batch report will run and the format of the file to which it will be saved.

  • Batch Report Print First for Invoices

    Hello Experts.
    Is there a way to set the batch report to print first, rather than the invoice? It doesn't seem like I am able to create a print sequence because the batch report is not an option when setting up the sequence from invoice PLD. Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Taylor

    Hi Taylor,
    There is no option to support your goal because the system has designed in current way. Before you print invoice, the Batch Report will not be available to print.
    Thanks,
    Gordon
