  • What component a user's session is using

    Hi all!
Is there a way to know what component a user session is using? Checking the SAP management console we have identified some sessions that have lasted more than normal but we just can't know what can be the problem. In the SAP management console we just can see the user's name and with this it has been imposible to know what is the problem.

    Hi Désirée:
Thanks for your response. We try what the note said but we couldn't find the JCMon. We are working with NetWeaver CE and we guess that SAP doesn't have this component in this version. Do you know how can we do what the note suggets but in CE?

  • Which vi is best to use from pid toolkit to control 8 temperature zones?

    Hi:
I recently bought LabVIEW 8.5 w/ PID toolkit but I can't find the "pid.vi" in its examples. Although I have never used this pid.vi, I heard  that this one is a good vi to control multiple  temperature zones. Help me if I am not searching this vi in a right way or place.  I am using NI 9264 module kit for the output power. My input is two NI 9211 thermocouple temperature module.
However my question is the same as of subject: Which vi is best to use from pid toolkit to control 8 temperature zones?
I also see in the readme file of NI 9264 that it can give a current drive of +/- 16mA for all channels. What does that mean? Since I'll be using a solid state relay which drives on 30mA/per channel.
Thanks for any help in advance.

    Hi HopeS,
Unfortunately, PID control theory is not a simple subject, and there is no single answer on parameters, because every system differs in their response to inputs. That's why the P, I, and D parameters are adjustable. We do have a PID autotuning VI found in the same palette which will launch the AutoTuning wizard to help you get mor precise parameters once you have reasonable values to work with already. But again, you need to know a reasonable set of values to operate with for P, I, and D. Once you use the Autotuning Wizard to get new PID values, I would recommend replacing the VI with the normal PID VI and manually entering in the values you found through autotuning. Then you can use an array of all your temperatures (process variables) as the input to the VI. The "simulated" case of the Ready-to-Run Temperature Controller example you found is about as simple as it can get.
And the output of the VI is just going to be based on the mathematical transformations going on within the VI. Since you want a analog output current, you'd rescale that output if necessary and wire it into a DAQ Assistant VI (or DAQmx Write). I'm not sure I understand what you mean with not having to "play with the VIs" - this application will require some small amount of modification to fit your hardware.

  • Finding session timeout period programatically

    Hi,
I need to findout the session timeout period of portal (not the application.. I do not want to specify any ExpirationTime at the application level). Based on this value, I want to notify user a minute before the session expires using Timed Trigger UI. I searched a lot but couldnt find any API that can provide this information. We are on Netweaver 7.0 SP8.
Appreciate if anyone could tell the API name or provide some hints.

  • When I create a New Folder (on the desktop or in Finder), the system uses the Generic Document Icon instead of the Generic Folder Icon. How can I change this back?

When I create a New Folder (on the desktop or in Finder), the system uses the Generic Document Icon instead of the Generic Folder Icon. How can I change this back?
All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.

    Anyone?

I did manage to save a lot of user file documents but I don't see or

I'm trying to find a way, using version 2.0.4 of iWeb on a different

There are 6 pages of images and text, and it
would be a task for me to recreate the whole thing again. I did

Does anyone have any knowledge about this? The link to my site:

Unfortunately iWeb cannot read or import previously published files, only generate them.  You'll have to recreate your site from scratch.
However, Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the recreation of the site.

  • How do I find what's using my hard drive space

My wife has a 14" iBook. How do I find what's using all the hard-drive space? It only has a 40GB hard-drive (it's one of the older G3 models) but there isn't a lot loaded onto the HD. There is only 3GB space left. I've gone through every application and utility and document and every folder (document, movie, etc.) and the largest space-hogging folder is iTunes which uses 15GB because of the music. I can't find any singular folder that uses any sizeable HD space. I recently loaded Tiger so I don't know if Tiger uses the rest of the space or if it's just a combo of all the other applications.

You could download and use WhatSize to see what may be eating up the space.
With a 40 GB hard drive, you need to keep at least 6 GB free in order to avoid problems.

There is no way that you can locate the iphone at all.
The thief can restore it and use it as their own.  You will never know or be able to tell what they do with it.
Very sorry.  Your iphone is gone.
Report it to the police and change your passwords.
