Find the channel name by file name

Hello,
i have some 300 receiver file channels in my PI system. Now my requirement is i have to find the Channel which is created with the target directory as " /interface/test/target " and saving file as " test.xml " in that target directory.
if possible in RWB or any other transaction to check LOGs in PI system, please let me know

easy way would be, check the directory and the file and check the created time of the file.
The go to SXMB_MONI and see the interface flow during the same time.
This will let you know which is the interface and thus you can track the configuration and eventually the communication channel

How do I add the channel-name to mixed signals?

Hello,
I want to save a XY-Signal to a tdm-File and import it into DIAdem.
So I merged the X- with the Y-Signal and connect the merged-signal to the "Write To Measurement File" VI.
In DIAdem I can see both signals but their name are "Untitled" and "Untitled 1". I don't know how to fix that.
If I use the low-level storage VIs, the other problem occures. I can give the X and Y-Channels my desired names, but they are in waveform - I want them as numeric channels in DIAdem.
So how can I give the mixed-signal the names
or
how can LabVIEW say to DIAdem that it is a numeric signal?

Hey Lukas,
To name your dynamic signals you can see this KB "How Do I Rename Signals in Dynamic Data?". After you name your signals appropriately, you could then merge them together and write to a tdm file. DIAdem will then be able to read the channel names from the tdm file. I hope this helps.

Could not find the group name.

HI,
I executed the below VBS file in Windows 7 Enterprise Edition workstation and received "Could not find the group name. Code :800708ac"
GetObject("WinNT://" + WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Network").ComputerName + "/Administrators").Add"WinNT://MYDOMAIN/TEST-TESTWorkstationAdmins"
I am able to add the "TEST-TESTWorkstationAdmins" in Administrator group manually but not able to add using the script.
"TEST-TESTWorkstationAdmins" is Global Security Group. Please help me to fix the problem.

The code in VBScript would look like this:

But I would recommend using Group Policy to update local Administrators group membership rather than using a script.

To Find the instance name in RMAN catalog

Hi ,
I have rman catalog which got registered 150 databases. Am able to get the dbname,id for the 150 databases but not able to get the server name (host name) of the correspoding databases in catalog views as well as in db views.
Kindly revert us if you know any other analyisis or way to find the server names.

Oracle provides RMAN for backing up and restoring the database. RMAN enables you to back up, copy, restore, and recover datafiles, control files, SPFILEs, and archived redo logs. RMAN is included with the Oracle server and it is installed by default. You can run RMAN from the command line or you can use it from the Backup Manager in Oracle Enterprise Manager. unfortunately, there is currently no official way to change the cluster name used by Oracle Clusterware after the installation.
However, finding the cluster name and some other useful tips are provided in ML Note 378037.1 - "How To Install Oracle 10g Grid Agent On Rac", which says:
Note: To find out the value of your CLUSTER_NAME from CRS (OCR), do the following from the CRS_HOME:
cd $CRS_HOME/bin
+./cemutlo -n+
or+
+./ ocrdump+
which will create a text file called OCRDUMPFILE
open that file and look for this entry
+[SYSTEM.css.clustername]+
ORATEXT : crs_cluster
In this case, "crs_cluster" is the cluster name.
In order to distinguish different clusters that you have installed with the same name in your EM Grid Control environment,
please, check ML Note 283147.1 - "Understanding RAC Target Discovery in EM Grid Control 10.1"

You are right that we are not supposed to change the Oracle supplied files. But some times you really don't have any other option. Some times Oracle support them selves ask you to change their programs.
Anyway the Concurrent program definition is stored in BNE_PARAM_LISTS_B, BNE_PARAM_LISTS_TL, BNE_PARAM_LIST_ITEMS and BNE_ATTRIBUTES table. For a concurrent program with out any parameter there will be 6 records in BNE_PARAM_LISTS_ITEMS and BNE_ATTRIBUTES table.
These racords are
Application, Program, Description, Run date , Sub Request , End of Concurrent Request Parameters and Rest of parameters default.
Look at these tables and you will know how Oracle has defined these Concurrent programs.

I am trying to create VM using Python API.
I have a custom Linux image:

media_link = 'https://portalvhds10ssz63zgvb9g.blob.core.windows.net/vhds/cloudN-Azure-20150205-os-2015-02-05.vhd'
When I used this image to create VM, it failed.
I would like to use the ubuntu 1204 image in the Gallery.
How do I specify the image_name and media_link in my Python code? Basically, where and how do I find the image name and media_link for an image in the Azure image Gallery?

Hi,
As far as I understand what you are asking for I would suggest 4 data dictionaries that will help you to know the table name from the column names
1. USER_TAB_COLS
2. ALL_TAB_COLS
3. DBA_TAB_COLS
4. COLS
These can give you detail information about the columns and respective tables at user, schema, dba level. Further information on the table can be found by querying ALL_OBJECTS table giving table_name as Object_name, or you can join the data dictionaries too.
To know about various data dictionaries avalible in Oracle please query select * from cat;

I am trying to find the class name inside the static main method. I want to write one main method that loads an instance of the class. Other folks have suggested tricks with the security manager or creating an Exception to look at the stack trace, but these methods don�t reflect the inheritance. I want SUBCLASSES to be able to run from the command line using the inherited main method.

The behavior you desire ca be achieved using the Factory pattern.
The idea of being able to subclass an application is a little bizarre. Why don't you just do something like this:
