Find the User ID through which the end user logged in BEx Analyzer?

I want to fetch the end user USERID who is executing the query. I am the end user and want to view a report, so I will login into BEx Analyzer with my userid and start executing query. Is there any way I can find that ID, in any table, program, function module or some where........?
I don't want 'created by', 'last changed by'. I want ID through which end user is logging into in Analyzer.
Also if the end user is logging in through RSRT wanted to know the SAP login user ID through which the user logged in?

Hi,
If you want to see the end user id that is running the query, and then open the workbook, select Layout from the menu u2013 Display Text elements. Click on All (or General, Filters or Variables based on your requirement). It will display the technical name, info provider, current user details. You can save it as existing work book transport to production, then when this query executed you can find end user login id.
May be you can check RSRWBTEMPLATE table for workbook users details. Mostly end user will not have access to RSRT.
Hope it helps you
Thanks

  • How do find the end user agreement

how do I find the end user license agreement, I'm so frustrated

I'm guessing that you have been unable to find the way to accept the end user license for Reader. If you are in Windows (which we don't know), you can try using Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement. If you are in Mac, open your Applications folder, double click on the Reader icon, follow the instructions to accept the license, close and restart Reader.

  • Doubts about the advantages and disadvantages of BEx Analyzer

    Hi people!
Do you know in specific. What are the advantages and disadvantages of BEx Analyzer?
and Do you know the limitations and scope of the bex analyzer?
Talking about the security issue. What kind of resticciones be applied to end-users to control information. Protecting system
resources and the information that the user uses, not be manipulated.
I hope you could answer my doubts

    Thanks

    Hi!
The standard BEx BI 3.x tools, is no longer available with the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI tools; however, it is part of the SAP BI add-on installation that, by default, will install the BW 3.x tools along with the newer BI 7.0 tools.
We want to prevent unauthorized download of data to excel sheets from users who have installed bex analyzer but are not authorized to do that. Certain users only have to access querys from web and shouldn't have to use reports from bex analyzer.
The only accepted way to access reports for all users is by using web querys published in our intranet. But many users have bex analyzer installed and we don't want that an unauthorized user download data to a excel sheet via bex analyzer.
I'm testing with one user with this roles, but bex web template and bex analyzer have similiar object authorizations, and i don't know if is possible prevent unauthorized download of data from excel sheets.
Final users don't access to bex analyzer by rrmx transaction
Until know i'm testing with this user roles:
    1. ZBW:BEX_WEB:RFC (for web templates)
    S_RFC:
    ACTVT:     16
    RFC_NAME:
    RFC1

    RSR_XLS_RFC
    RZX0
    SDIFRUNTIME

    SYST
    RFC_TYPE:  FUGR
please take in count this points:
    1. Prevent unauthorized download of data to excel sheets from users that should have accees only querys from web not bex analyzer (very important this point)=
    2. what are the disadvantages of BEx Analyzer, if only if limited by excel...from other point like performance, workprocess with long runtimes, memory issues, for said something.
I don't know if i'm going by good way.
    Somebody could help me?

  • Where can I find the end users license agreement?

    Hi!
Every time I try to open a document online the windows pops up with the notice that I need to agree to the end user license agreement in order for me to be able to view pdf. How can i do it?

Have you actually opened Adobe Reader (as instructed) to see if it offers the ability to accept the agreement?
If so and it didn't work, what version of Reader, OS and web browser are you using?

  • Finding the end of a document using Scanner

I'm reading a file line by line, but cannot figure out how to read the end of a document without finding the number of lines in the document myself. When I have all of the lines printed out, I get an error at the end saying that no line could be found, which makes sense, since it's the end of the document. But how can I detect the end without getting an error?

  • Does Mozilla have a lifecycle policy for Firefox? If not, where can I find the end of life support dates?

I'm trying to find the dates in which Mozilla stopped supporting versions dating back to Firefox 1.5.

Basically, support ends when Mozilla decides to end it. There are parameters as to when support will end, but "stuff happens" and sometimes they postpone the EOL life date when they feel a security update is warranted.
I found this via a Google Search for Firefox 1.5 EOL. <br />
    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=389977
For Firefox 2.0 it was like 12-29-2008, when 2.0.0.20 was released. That version is dated 12-17-2008.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Firefox#Release_history <br />
Has the release dates for each version, but not the EOL dates.

  • How to find the end point URL for a Enterprise Service?

    Hi,
I'm trying to find the URL for a service called "DocumentERPFileVariantByIDAndFileVariantIDQueryResponse"
so it can be called through .NET.
I've been able to locate the WSDL and generated the proxy objects through this URL:
    http://<server>:8000/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_ECC_DOCUMENTFVBYFVIDQR/wsdl11/ws_policy/document?sap-client=<client>
But in the WSDL there's no end point definition included, so where can the service it self be found?
    Thanks.

    Hi Frank
Did you check in SOAMANAGER if the service is there? If there is no end point there, you can create one.

  • Finding the end of a line in a JTextArea and inserting a comma

    Hi,
At the moment I am reading in a comma delimited file into a JTextArea.
This part is ok I can see the file in the window correctly.
The problem that I am having now is that I want to add a comma to the end of each line in the JTextArea.
Does anyone know how to do this?
    Thank you

Well you have to get the String value of the JTextField.
    String text = YourJTextField.getText()
Then you have to make a loop and check each single character if it equals '\n', that means "RETURN" or "NEW LINE".
That is the direction I would go. Inform yourself about String manipulations first, like how to look for character, how to compare them and how to add them.

  • Where can i find the start up log?

when arch boot's up the deamons i get a [Failed] but it goes so fast.. and the boot is on 1024X768 so i cant see who failes... and then when x start's it clears the console.
where can i find the boot log file? (i looked in /var/logs i have no idea which one)
    thanks

MadTux wrote:dmesg: boot messages generated by the kernel
    /var/log/daemon.log: messages generated by daemons
/var/log/kernel.log: messages generated by the kernel
MadTux:  None of the above log files have the same information in them as a traditional "boot.log"
Depending on what you're looking for, dmesg and the like are often no help whatsoever.

  • Finding the SQL fired by Oracle Sales Analyzer

    Hi,
Is there a way to find out the SQL fired against the database by Sales Analyzer?.
    TIA,
    Vijay.

It is a very long time since I used OSA, but there is a way to get at the SQL. Try one of the following:
    1) try describing the program SQ.WRITESQL as I think this may contain the required code
    OR:
    2) on OSA client (Windows) enable tracing by going to Help-Express Monitor and type:
    ifcopy=y
    badline=y
    echoprompt=y
    prgtrace=y
    dbgoutfile '/path/trace.txt' nocache
    OR
    3) Use the RECAP command in the Express Monitor window, this will show you the last series of commands issued and you should find the SQL code buried somewhere.
Sorry I cannot be more specific, alas I don't have OSA installed anymore but it is great to hear from someone still using it.

  • Text variable to be removed from the description on Roles in Bex Analyzer

    Dear Experts,
I am using BI 7.0. I have text variables in the query description. When the queries are assigned in Roles, they are displayed alongwith the text variable. I need to change the description of the query only in Roles. I am successful in doing this change on portal. But, in Bex Analyzer, I tried changing the description of these queries in Roles, but still they are not changed. Strangely, I can see the new descriptions in Roles when executed through RSRT.
Can anyone please help me in resolving my issue.
    Thanking you in advance,
    Best Regards,
    Pradnya Rane

    Hi Parth,
Yes, I mean in 'Open Query' option. This is working in BEx 3.5, but not in 7.0.
Is this some missing functionality in BI 7.0?

  • Where can I find the reference of log files?

    Hi, all
I am doing with the configurement of Connection Manager. The requests are always been refused. Then i want to see what does logfile say (cman_xxx.log), but I don't know what it means after I open the file. Like this info:
    (TIMESTAMP=13-3ÔÂ -2003 13:53:19)(EVENT=20)(RLYNO=0)(REASON=17)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=10.88.88.72)(PORT=1667))
in this sentence, REASON=17, but what does it means? Is this the reason for what my request to connect the CM was refused? and EVENT=20, what does it represent?
    Thank you.
