It results in left-menu-scrolling:
but not even in InDesign, but also in whole Adobe Suite, and today i found out that it appears also in Windows:
Is it possible, could it be connected with this script? Or is it some kind of a virus?
I know it sounds impossible, but it really appeared on computers after this script was added.
Thanks for help.

Before we go any further, you need to upgrade to the latest version of Spry.
The latest version of the Adobe Spry Framework is 1.6.1, this is the same version that ships with Dreamweaver CS4. If you use Dreamweaver CS3 (uses Spry 1.4), its wise to upgrade your files to the latest version. This can easily be done using the Spry Updater that can be found here.
Once you have done that and you re-assign the values in the CSS files, please read the comments first as in

  • Textfield redraw bug caused by text overflow

Situation: I have a runtime created movieclip with a dynamic
textfield contained in it. Some fonts types cause overflow in the
textfield (part of the text is drawed outside the textfield area)
causing a redraw bug when dragging the movieclip. The overlow
occurs on the left / right side of the textfield but only for
certain characters (because they are wider then usual).
If you have a textfield with the text "f" using the New Timer
Roman font, an overflow will occur on the right side of the
textfield, causing the above redraw bug. For other fonts the bug
also happen on the left side.
The problem is solved by recreating the movieclip, but I am
dragging the movieclip so I will apreciate if someone have a better
    solution...

are you adding content dynamically or using preloaded text
    with non supported Font?
in both the case try to embed font and then once data is
    placed inside textfield use
updateAfterEvent() to refresh or make your own refresh script
if possible coz sometimes this method wont give u desired
    result.

  • Frontier email, text is way too big for screen, cannot see it all even when scrolling completely left to right. How can I make smaller?

I only have this problem with my Frontier email page. The text of the emails is so big I can't see it all even when scrolling completely left to right. It's like it is zoomed in about 200%. Is there something I can do to zoom out with some tool or is this a Frontier problem or a computer problem?

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: <b>View > Zoom > Reset</b> (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

In ical, there is supposed to be a on my mac menu on the left. Mine is not there, how do I get it back?

There is that option in Mail > select the show option towards the top toolbar on the left.
I have never seen that option in iCal.

  • Is there a way to open the right click menu on the left side of your pointer?

Whenever I try to right-click an object that's located on the right side of the screen, the pointer always automatically click whatever entry in the right-click menu which just happens to be under the pointer the moment the menu is opened. I noticed that the reason this happens is because the right click menu always forces itself to open on the right side of the pointer, and when there isn't enough space, the right-click menu will open underneath the pointer. Since this is horribly inconvenient, is there a way to open the right-click menu on the left side of your pointer?

Are you saying you have an icon on the far right side and when you rt click on it, your pointer ends up opening wherever it lands? That is a two step process, or normally should be at least a two step process. Do you have a Mouse in your Control Panel? You should check, because there may be some properties with which you can play. For instance, I can switch primary and secondary functions on my mouse buttons by checking a box.
When I rt click on right side, the menu opens on the left.
When I rt click on left side, the menu opens on the right.
In order for me to take an action, I then have to move to an area in that menu and click.
I hope I understood your question correctly.

  • I'm learning iMovie (version 10.0.6) I can no longer see the menu at the left bottom side (the title, iTunes, garageband, etc.)  Did I hit a button to accidentally hide it or something?

I'm learning iMovie (version 10.0.6), in OS Yosemite, I can no longer see the menu at the left bottom side (the title, iTunes, garageband, etc.)  Did I hit a button to accidentally hide it or something?  I imported my media and all of a sudden the menu was gone.  I closed it and reopened it.  Switched the screen view, still no menu.

Thanks for replying dominic23.....but I don't see that button anywhere.  I did click a button that says "video and audio effects", and nothing happened.

  • Mouse will scroll right, left, and down not up. happens every once and a while.

mighty mouse will scroll right, left, and down, but not up. happens every once and a while. have wiped with alcohol, but no help this time.

As Barry says, wiping with liquids is not advisable.   However, with a similar problem this is how I approached it.
    1.   Disconnect the mouse.
    2.   Dampen (not soak) a cotton bud in alcohol.  (I prefer whisky).   Then squeeze between fingers to ensure it is not wet.
    3.   Rub the bud against the ball for a minute or so to ensure all parts of the ball have contact with the cotton bud.
    4.   Then rub vigorously on clean white paper for a couple of minutes in a figure of eight fashion and tap it every now and then.  I have seen quite large peices of fluff removed this way
5    Allow twenty minutes or so for the alcohol to finally evapourate to ensure there is no moisture.
    6    Reconnect the mouse.
Having said all this, after three years or so your mouse will probably need to be replaced anyway.   Apple appear to be moving away from corded mice and therein lies another problem.   My experience with the Apple charger, Apple batteries and other premium batteries has not been good.   Batteries seem to run down at a rate of 10% per day even though its use is limited to about three hours daily.
    You have been warned.

  • Horizontal RSS feed- is it possible to create an RSS feed (showing both pictures and text), that scrolls from left to right rather than top to bottom?

I am trying to create an RSS feed that will scroll from left to right rather than top to bottom as is standard in iWeb.  Ideally, I would like to show both images and text. I am actually using iWeb '09.  I am not opposed to writing html code if necessary.
    Thank you for your help!

Probleme solved without having to change anything in the flash.
The solution was to add a small part in the CSS in HTML
    html {
    overflow-x: hidden;
    overflow-y: auto;
Solve probleme. All browser. VERY usefull to know !

  • Can I have a pop down menu on the left and then text fields directly to the right? I can only get them to be one above the other.

    Hi All,
I am building a form and would like to create a pop down menu on the left (and ideally with the options being colour boxes boxes but this does not seem possible), and then have three text separated text lines on the right of the pop down menu for notes related to the pop down choices.
Do you know if this is possible?
    Thanks,
    Matt

It sounds like you're creating the form in FormsCentral. You have limited options in the FormsCentral designer as far as layout. You can place multiple fields on a line, or one field per line. If you create the design/layout in a program like InDesign or Word, generate a PDF, and add the fields form in Acrobat, you have complete flexibility over the placement of the fields.
The items in a dropdown field are limited to text that are all the same color.

How do I disable the brushes popup menu when I left click in Photoshop CS5? I am trying to use the clone stamp and I am not able to get a sample because of this popup menu.

LOL,  I can't even begin to complain with the number if times I misread questions, and then try to break my own record for the number of typos in a single post.
The image above was taken on a photgraphic weekend where the group (of all young ladies ) I was travelling with, set us a photography challenge.  The one above was my response to a 'faceless portrait'.  The only other one I attempted was this response for a picture of a 'wild animal', featuring camera club president Liz.
Oh what fun we had, laughing and laughing until our faces fell off.
[EDIT]  Both taken at Karamea, which some visitors to NZ might recognise as the western end of the Heaphy Track.

  • How to create a project's Menu in PeopleSoft left hand Menu Navigation ?

    Folks,
    Hello. My PeopleSoft project has 3 items (item1, item2 and item3). Each item has 5 components (Component1, Component2, Component3, Component4 and Component5).
Currently, I can acces each component by type in the URL in Browser as follows:
    http://127.0.0.1/psp/ps/NodeName/PortalName/c/MenuName.ComponentName.GBL
But I want my project to appear in the left hand "Menu" navigation after we sign on PeopleSoft. My project Menu will look like a hierarchical tree. When the user click on it, the user can see all the project's items and components and link to a component directly. But I don't understand how to do it.
Do any folks understand how to create a project's Menu in PeopleSoft left hand Menu navigation ?
    Thanks in advance.
    :

    >
    >
I have registered each component using Registration Wizard in Application Designer. Since each Menu holds a Component, the Menu is also registered while registering its Component. So far, I can access each component online using the URL: http://127.0.0.1/psp/ps/NodeName/PortalName/c/MenuName.ComponentName.GBL
    But I want to create a Menu for my project as a hierachical tree ( Project -> Item1 -> Component1, Compoent2, ...),
and I want the project Menu appears in PeopleSoft left hand Menu navigation so that a user can simply click on it to access a component and don't need to type in the above URL. Please answer me 2 questions:
First, how to make the project Menu appear in PeopleSoft left hand Menu navigation ? I am still not sure what you are trying to do(It is surprising that you registered the component and still dont have it in the main navigation; did you run the portal security sync process?? ).
If it is all a matter of having a hierarchical structure, then you can create folders and subfolders and register each item accordingly(into different folders and subfolders as you want)
Second, if need to register each Menu seperately again, how to do it ?Delete entries for content references that you added earlier while registering(by navigating to portal), as well as the entry from permission lists. After that you should be able to register again.

  • HTML5 Playback causes choppy scrolling

HTML5 videos cause choppy scrolling - most notable when playing a YouTube video in a tab, and browsing in another one. If the video is paused there is no problem. Also, which is a bit weird, if I click on a YouTube video, and before it manages to fully load, switch to another tab, the scrolling is fine. If I switch back to the YouTube tab, it immediately gets choppy in all of Firefox. Similar problem with 9GAG gifs for example, so it's not just with YouTube.
All drivers are up to date. Windows 7 Professional N, hardware acceleration on or off makes no difference. Any ideas?

Also good to mention that if I switch to YouTube flash, the problem is gone, however Flash gives such a sh** performance, that I would rather tolerate a bit of choppy scroll than using the flash player :)

  • How can I disable that ugly black menu to the left the screen?

I use "google" as my homepage and I do not like clutter either on my desktop or on my homepage.
How can I disable that black menu at the left of the home page?
Dell technicians have tried, but cannot eliminate it. Usually one is able to "hide" menus.

Google changed their homepage. They replaced the narrow black menu at the top of the screen and replaced it with the wider grey bar. When you click on the Google logo that black menu opens on the left side. Sorry I don't know how to close that menu, haven't seen that page myself, just read about that change yesterday.
Try a Google group for help with that. not a Firefox support issue. <br />
Another suggestion is to use the default Firefox homepage - '''about:home'''

  • Contextual menu to the left

First, sorry for my poor english.
I'm using a Wacom Cintiq 20 wsx (can't remember the correct order of the letter) with Tiger for my daily artwork. It's almost a perfect computer experience but...
i'm a right hand user and the menu and submenu pop under my hand when doing a Command-clic. I would like to know if it's possible to flip the menu to the left.
Is there a hidden preference accessible from the command line ?
    THanks in advance.

    Hi bentox,
Check out the Technical Support at Wacom. You can send them an e-mail.
http://www.wacom.com/productsupport/ I have contacted them several times over the years and have had replies within 24 hours. Also, depending on which graphics software you use, i.e., Photoshop, look in Photoshop/Preferences and see if there is anything available there.
    Carolyn
