  • Can not get data from database

    hi all,
        there is a problem ,  when i write like below :
    SELECT * FROM bsis INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_temp
              WHERE bukrs = p_bukrs
                AND hkont = p_hkont.
    p_bukrs , p_hkont are all on the selection screen , and p_bukrs = 1200 another is eq blank. i can not find any data , but with the same condition i can find some data in database , when i debeg i found that p_hkont is initial.
        when i write like this :
    SELECT * FROM bsis INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_temp
              WHERE bukrs = p_bukrs .
    this time i can find the data like the database.
        so , does someone know where the problem is , why i can not get data ?
    kind regards
    kevin

    hi,
    if u r  using bukrs and hkont as parameters in selection screen then
    SELECT * FROM bsis INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_temp
    WHERE bukrs = p_bukrs
    AND hkont = p_hkont.
    this will work.
    if u r using then as select-option then the above does n't work.
    bcoz select-options work as internal table bcoz of that u have use the query like this
    SELECT * FROM bsis INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_temp
    WHERE bukrs IN p_bukrs
    AND hkont IN p_hkont.

  • Can not find product , sku attributes data in database table

    Hi there,
    I find it really strange to find data in database related to product and sku. I set up the commerce reference store and store is up and running fine. Catalog is fine too. I am not able to find data related to sku attributes in database.
    I have a product_id xprod2511 which has 11 child skus such as xsku2511_1, xsku2511_2 and so on. sku xsku2511_1 is blue color and size 4. When I search for this two sku attributes (color and size) information in dcs_sku_attr table with sku_id as xsku2511_1, no rows returned. In fact, I looked into few other sku tables but I am not able to find the information about color and size of a sku in any database table.
    this is the query I am running:
    select * from dcs_sku_attr where sku_id = 'xsku2511_1'
    Can someone please let me know the table name where this information regarding color and size resides in?
    Thanks a lot.

    In dyn/admin If you try and view the definition file of ProductCatalog repository, then under sku item descriptor you would see the color and size property which would be under some table tag, that table tag table name should be the table holding these values.
    the other question(may be silly) is that I hope that you are executing sql in correct schema, that is cata or catb schema (select * from catA.dcs_sku_attr) where the actual product catalog data resides.

  • Data in database not showing up in BI

    Hi,
    In a table there is a 'COMPANY' column. Every record in the table has COMPANY = 'ABC'. However, any BI reports that use the COMPANY field always show COMPANY as an empty field.
    - The 'Update Row Count' option in BI Administration tool reports there is 1 unique record
    - The 'View Data' option in BI Administration tool shows "ABC'
    - Creating a report in Answers show an empty value
    - This only seems to happen with the COMPANY field
    How can BI see 'ABC' in the Physical Pane but not show the 'ABC' value in an Answers report?
    We have tried:
    - Purging all caches
    - Rebooting the server and deleting files from Cache and Tmp help
    - Clearing Web Browser Cache
    - Using Web Browsers on different computers
    - Using IE and Firefox
    Thanks
    - B.

    SELECT Contacts.Company saw_0 FROM "Test - BI" ORDER BY saw_0
    is not a physical sql, its a logical sql. Go to admin - issue sql - paste above - set loglevel > 3 and execute. Once the results come back, check view log - find sql sent to database and post here.

  • I'm moving an internal hard drive from an old computer to a new computer.  How do I transfer the catalog data to my new computer so the Organizer of Photoshop Elements 6 will find the data on the hard that has been moved to the new computer?

    I'm moving an internal hard drive from an old computer to a new computer.  (My new compute runs Windows 8.1) How do I transfer the catalog data to my new computer so the Organizer of Photoshop Elements 6 will find the data on the hard that has been moved to the new computer?  Is this possible or do I have to use the procedure of copying the catalog along with the photos to a back up hard drive and then restore them on the new computer?

    The 'normal' procedure is to do a PSE organizer backup (not a copy or a backup from external tools) to an external drive, then a restore to the new location.
    The advantage is that you have a backup of both catalog and media files and you don't have all disconnected files, which would happen with external backup tools. Also, if you restore with a more recent elements version, the catalog will be automatically updated to the new format.
    The drawback in your situation is that you'll have either to overwrite all your files or restore to a custom location, creating a duplicate photo library (which supposes you have enough free space).
    It would be possible to simply use the organizer in the old PC to move the catalog to a new 'custom' folder just under your C: root drive. The catalog would be accessible once the drive will be installed in the new PC. Then you would have all files 'disconnected' due to the fact that all your media files are now on a drive with a different letter. Reconnecting a whole library is a hard job with PSE6, less so with PSE11/PSE12.
    If the idea of fiddling with the sqlite database with external sqlite manager tools is ok for you, I can describe the process more in detail. You only copy your catalog folder (as suggested above) to another location. Instead of trying the 'reconnection' way, you install the sqlite utility on the new computer. When the old drive is installed in the new computer, you simply edit a given record in the catalog database, catalog.psedb, and start the organizer with your copied catalog by simply double clicking the 'catalog.psedb' file.
    Even if the last solution is much, much quicker, I would still create a new PSE backup : you have never too much safety .

  • Wrong date in database.

    Last I was programming and something strange happend. I made the following statement:
    "INSERT INTO nietzwemmers(leerling_ID, datum)  VALUES("+IDs[i]+", "+sdf.format(new java.util.Date())+")"Everything goes well, until I go and look in my database. There I don't find the date of today, but the date of somewhere in 1905. Strange, milenium bug you say, thought that too, but no. On a recent computer I have the same problem. And I know that the problem lays in the jdbc:odbc connection , or even later, because when I print the date in the console, the correct date is displayed.
    Anyone an idea?
    P.S. I use Win XP, a recent java version, 1.4.*, and mircosoft acces some version.

    You're having these problems because you're passing either a numeric representation of a date, or a string representation of a date, and the driver and/or database is doing implicit datatype conversions for you from number to date or string to date. The conversion rules change depending on wheter you start with a number or a string.
    You can avoid these sorts of type conversion problems by using PreparedStatement, and sending the database an actual Date, and thereby avoid dependencies on implicit conversions (and the work of converting it yourself only to have the driver convert it back).
    This might not work with Access (I've never tried it with that), but it really should, it works on most real databases...
    // prepare the statement outside the loop
    final String sql = "INSERT INTO nietzwemmers(leerling_ID, datum)  VALUES(?, ? )"
    PreparedStatement pstmt = connection.prepareStatement(sql);
    // do this outside the loop if you want all records from array ID to have the same time
    // do this inside the loop if they should have the exact moment the
    pstmt.setDate(2, new java.util.Date() );
    // loop through the values of i...
    while ( ....
      // Long or Int or whatever numeric type is appropriate
      pstmt.setLong(1, IDs);
    pstmt.execute();
    A nice side effect is that it can drastically reduce the amount of temporary strings that are generated, thereby reducing the amount of time spent in garbage collection. (Whether it actually does or not depends on the driver implementation.)

  • Query to find the memory of database in oracle,sql

    Hi All,
    Please let me know the query to find the memory of database in oracle,sql.
    Thanks,
    sajith

    How do I find the overall database size?
    The biggest portion of a database's size comes from the datafiles. To find out how many megabytes are allocated to ALL datafiles:
    select sum(bytes)/1024/1024 "Meg" from dba_data_files;
    To get the size of all TEMP files:
    select nvl(sum(bytes),0)/1024/1024 "Meg" from dba_temp_files;
    To get the size of the on-line redo-logs:
    select sum(bytes)/1024/1024 "Meg" from sys.v_$log;
    Putting it all together into a single query:
    select a.data_size+b.temp_size+c.redo_size "total_size"
    from ( select sum(bytes) data_size
    from dba_data_files ) a,
    ( select nvl(sum(bytes),0) temp_size
    from dba_temp_files ) b,
    ( select sum(bytes) redo_size
    from sys.v_$log ) c;
    Another query ("Free space" reports data files free space):
    col "Database Size" format a20
    col "Free space" format a20
    select round(sum(used.bytes) / 1024 / 1024 ) || ' MB' "Database Size"
    , round(free.p / 1024 / 1024) || ' MB' "Free space"
    from (select bytes from v$datafile
    union all
    select bytes from v$tempfile
    union all
    select bytes from v$log) used
    , (select sum(bytes) as p from dba_free_space) free
    group by free.p
    This is what I use :P From http://www.orafaq.com/wiki/Oracle_database_FAQ#How_do_I_find_the_overall_database_size.3F

  • Tabular form Update Error,"Current version of data in database has changed

    I'm getting an error when updating a Apex Tabular form. It's complaining that the row id's are out-of-sync. The error reads,' Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process. current row version identifier = "56DW5A8A7EBA3B42073AE6E71480A784" application row version identifier = "99B52A15F10E34647E9E18B6B7AE8C30" .
    Has anyone received this error? Any solutions? Note that the primary is being populated by a trigger. I have another tabular form for a different application that updates without issue, this however, uses a sequence to update the primary key.
    Thanks,
    James

    Make sure that the form is defined such that it "knows" that the PK is being set by a trigger. Do not try to set it in the form if the trigger is doing it. Pretty much if a trigger attempt to modify any column that also was editable (including hidden columns) in the form, the two will conflict.
    The other issue could be that do you have any items on the rows that are disabled? Disabled items are not sent to session state so Apex won't be able to properly compute the checksum and it'll find a discrepancy.

  • How can I find a data base table containing a GUID, which is result of the macro's execution?

    Hello,
    please help me to understand how the macros work. I am facing database inconsistency. The CRM-system retrieves a GUID of an opportunity’s item and checks its existence. However, this GUID (here it is es_info-ref_object) does not exist. As result, an exception is triggered.
    I am trying to figure out which data base table is responsible for the inconsistent data. Instead of SELECT statement, I see in the debugger that a macro retrieves the “guilty” entry .
    macro_execute macro_msg_data_read_rea.
    My Question: How can I find a data base table containing a GUID, which is result of the macro’s execution?
    Thanks a lot

    When you save a PDF out of Distiller it doesn't just have different options, it's an entirely different program. It doesn't do things the same way, so it can't have the same options. Saving from Distiller is in many ways better, expecially in that transparency isn't flattened.
    What specific options are you looking for?
