I HAVE ALWAYS LIKE THE FOX, JUST WANT TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM WITH IT AND THE LONGER I HAVE THE WINDOW OPEN ARE UP THE WORSE IT GETS. I DO A LOT OF GAMING ON FACEBOOK PLAYING MAFIA WARS BUT THE PROBLEM IS NOT LIMITED TO JUST THERE IT IS ALL THE TIME AND EVERY WHERE. I HAVE TRIED ADD-ON'S THINKING THEY MAY HELP BUT NOTHING HAS DONE ANY GOOD. CHROME IS TWICE IF NOT THREE
TIMES AS FAST AS THE FOX LATELY ON LOADING PAGES.
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

My iphone is stuck in recovery mode. The apple logo is up and proceeded about 70percent of the way then it just stops moving. I have looked all over the internet and I am out of warranty. On itunes it reads restoring iphone software. My software was 4.3.2 but it was in the process of being upgraded to 4.3.3 so i dont know if it is being restored to 4.3.2 or 4.3.3... Please help

It will not connect but my other apple devices can connect and the wifi works very well. I have moved houses to my house wifi isnt the same as the old one. Also, i have to type in the password every time even if i click autosave. Sometimes it also says invalid password or connection timeout. When I repair disk permissions using Disk Utility and it says it's completed the task, I click on it again and it repairs more. This has been going on for hours now. Could there be that many wrong permissions? Should it get to "all repaired" eventually?
It's normal behavior. You don't have to worry about. Most of what's listed is just a report of what the utility finds., not necessarily that there is omething wrong.

I keep getting asked to update Firefox. When I click on the update it just goes to the "connecting to update computer" but even after 30 minutes it still doesn't connect. This has been going on for over a month.
Do a clean (re-)install:
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox. -
When I click on Firefox Icon to open browser a window opens that says..Firefox has had a problem and has crashed.It says a report will be sent to Mozilla and problem will be fixed when Firefox is closed,(It never opened),I click on close Firefox and it says a report is being sent.Then a few seconds later it says...Report successfully sent and closes.It also asked if I want Mozilla to contact me about this report,I checked yes and have recieved nothing.I WANT MY FIREFOX..This has been going on for since Nov.30th.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

why is streaming to my sony TV slowing to .4 mbps from 8.ombps while watching a netflix movie? this has become a problem in the last 2 months. This also happens on another TV but not concurrently.. What's going on with iCloud (MobileMe)? I'm able to sign in here, but I can't access mail on my Macbook Pro, iPhone, or work computer. I always get an authorization error (user-id or passwork wrong). This has been going on for almost a week now.
The single download means that you won't be able to redownload it from the store without paying, either on a computer's iTunes or an iOS device - it doesn't stop you from copying the audiobook to your other computers or syncing it to your iOS devices, you just can't redownload it. (I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time download.)
You can download audiobooks on your computer's iTunes and sync them to iOS devices, you do not have to buy them directly on the device (if you do then you can copy them back to your computer's iTunes library by connecting the device and using the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option on your computer's iTunes).
What you are doing to sync them should work i.e.
- connecting the iPad to your Mac
- selecting the iPad on your Mac's iTunes
- selecting its Books tab and selecting the audiobooks that you want to sync to the iPad and syncing/applying that selection.
You should then get an audiobooks option in the Music app on your iPad. If they aren't appearing there then do they show in Settings > General > Usage > Music on the device - if you have audiobooks on the iPad then they should be listed there under an 'audiobooks' heading.
By 'restart the iPad' do you mean a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
You could also try closing its Music app via the iPad's taskbar : Force an app to close in iOS.
And do a soft-reset and retry syncing.
I assume that music and other items sync ok ? -

Got it! Thanx. What I did was go to my account, check that they had my new ID and Password which they did, then hit reset button. All fixed. -
My ipod 4g has been working fine for the last 2 years until now, it wont charge or connect to itunes what so ever. it will connect to the dock and play music but just wont charge on any charger, computer,cord,anything. its making me so frustrated i think it has somthing to do with the battery but im not sure because it still turns on. Im for sure that its the ipod and not the cord or outlet and charger. somone please help!!!!!! I tried everything besides opening it up.
