Firefox 3.6.4 visual studio debug doesn't work

I'm developping a web application in silverlight. I've never having a problem with silverlight or firefox since 1years.
But 2 days ago i download FF 3.6.4 and then i can't debug my web app anymore ! I've spend 4hours to reset my setting in visual studio, try older project etc. Then i try to put IE as standard web browser, then it works with IE ! The same for chrome !
Firefox is loved by developpers, if they can not debug their application, they will move to another browser, even they got dozen awesome plugin :(

Using JDBC with Visual Studio J++ doesn't work.

G'day all,
I am trying to create an applet that extracts data from an Access 2000 database, which is then displayed to the applet. Currently I am using Visual Studio J++ 6.0 as my development platform.
I am having trouble trying to connect to my Access 2000 database, and I'm searching for some example code on how to do this.
I'm pretty much a Java newbie, so all my attempts have failed. Also since all the example code I have is for a JDK implementation I'm not sure if my J++ complier is throwing an error on the basis that the code is not Misro$oft.
Does anyone know where I can source code for such a solution, for connection to an Access 2000 database under a J++ 6.0 compiler?
Any details would be greatly appreciated.

You're limited by the lack of support for the java standard in Microsoft's J++ 6.0's VM. I tried to get JDBC to work for a while in J++ and was unable to. I finally broke down and wrote the thing using ADO. The ADO interface is very intuative for ADO programmers and in fact the syntax is similar to JDBC.
Later I regretted using J++ because I wanted to make the code portable and relieve my reliance on the Microsoft libraries. I rewrote some of my applications using JDK 2 and JDBC, and am currently rewriting the rest. You can use the ODBC-JDBC bridge with JDK 2 and get to that Access database.

Azure websites continues deployment using visual studio online doesn't work

I have an issue with continues deployment in Azure. I have two subscriptions for my project. I created the team project in Subscription 1 & done the automatic deployment using GITContinuesDeployment. Everything is fine but while I changed the subscription
I can't do the automatic deployment since the Team project can't be find. The question is how can I do the deployment? I get the following error:

If I check Azure website also in Subscription 2, I can't find the Team project also from Subscription 1 even If I can see the subscription 1& 2 under services in Visual studio online

Just delete or rename this folder:
%AppData%\..\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\ComponentModelCache
or
%AppData%\..\Local\Microsoft\VPDExpress\11.0\ComponentModelCache
For Visual Studio 2013, change the version number:
%AppData%\..\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.0\ComponentModelCache
Restart Visual Studio.

How do I keep the IntelliSense cached onto my hard drive, so that whenever I restart Visual Studio, it doesn't need to re-build IntelliSense from scratch?

Opening a project solution means that I start from where I last left off. If IntelliSense is able to keep its database files, then whenever I call on IntelliSense, it can just go and fetch whatever I typed as any normal operating IntelliSense would do.
I was just wondering if there is a way to preserve already-built IntelliSense database, so that when I open my Visual Studio project, it doesn't need to generate the IntelliSense database files and I can just call IntelliSense without needing to worry about
waiting for it to finish generating necessary files.

No, I do not mean IntelliSense code snippets. What I mean is the PDB database the IntelliSense generates when scanning through codes that the project has. I need to mention beforehand that I have honestly no idea if the PDB file IntelliSense generates is
related to this.
This is what I mean:
What IntelliSense does is it caches all available C++ functions it gathered from the project, and then store them into some database file (which I call it PDB, because it sounds like it's a database file containing all of this auto-completion information),
so that whenever I call on IntelliSense for auto-completion, it pops up this widget showing all of this for me.
I wanted to be able to store this generated file permanently, so it doesn't get called over so many times.
I understand that there is an option to disable auto-updating in the Options > Programming Languages > C++ > Advanced > IntelliSense category. I have that ticked off already, but IntelliSense still generates over and over again each time
I do a build.
It makes sense to generate a new PDB for new/removed codes I did in the project, and I can agree, but it
doesn't make sense to have that same PDB file be generated again and again when all I am doing is just building the same code, without modifying the source code at all, like pressing multiple CTRL+SHIFT+B and closing the program over
and over again. That behavior is what I would call the PDB file a "cached" file. And I want to keep it when I am building, so that IntelliSense doesn't have to rebuild all the time after I finished a build/compile session and I have to wait a long
while for me to see what functions I need to use in the project.
Or maybe there could be a "Search function in IntelliSense context menu...", but I digress.

Policy agent breaks Visual Studio debugging

After installing the Sun ONE Policy Agent 2.1 on IIS 5, I am unable to start running a .NET web application on the web server from within the Visual Studio IDE.
After hitting F5 to start the project, VS reporst "Error while trying to run project: unable to start debugging on the web server". I am able to manually attach the debugger using the workaround provided in the MS help, but this is not fully satisfactory.
Any .NET developer's out there run into this one before?

Our developer is now able to run Visual Studio and debug Silverlight using breakpoints without any errors. I am unable to explain what could have happened since January 2<sup>nd</sup> to fix the issue, other than the normal Microsoft
updates. I have also previously been able to reproduce the error on my machine but am no longer able to. Note that if we disable EMET IE EAF we can still cause the errors, but we had previously tested with and without that disabled.

Doesn't Work! Finding and Eliminating Run-Time Errors", the IDE does not allow me to edit the code when the debugger hits the intentionally programmed runtime error (divisor set to 0). It gives me an error that "Changes to 64 bit applications
are not allowed". I found some forum postings advising to set the project's Target CPU from "Any CPU" to "x86". However, when I do that, and re-execute the debug process, the debug fails to stop on the overflow/divide by
zero error.
How can I debug my programs when Any CPU/x64 target doesn't allow me to edit the code, and x86 target doesn't appear to recognize obvious runtime errors.

I'm afraid that the VS2008 has a limitation for this feature, I mean that Edit and Continue isn't supported on 64-bit.

Archlinux - Visual Studio 10 or 11 - Work, Do I have to switch?

I am currently using Archlinux for my main laptop, handles all my website development with ease. I was just hired for a new job developing software for windows and I am really excited to get started until I found out they will be using Visual Studio 10 for development of the software as they would like to use C# for integration with quick books. As I am on the team of programmers I need to use Visual Studio for development and would like to work at home over SVN for most of the project. However I cant find any resources saying that Visual Studio would work on linux at all.
I realize that compiling the software would require windows as there's no guarantee that it would work in wine.
What are my options? Do I have to switch back to windows?

Since the programming output isn't likely to be graphically intense you should be able to have a Windows guest in a Virtual Machine such as VirtualBox or VMWare. VirtualBox is free. You will however need to have a legal license for the guest operating system. Once you do have one, just install it as a guest then in that full Windows installation install whichever programs you require. Employment trumps ideology here: if a Virtual Machine doesn't work out then you should either get a second machine or dual-boot with Windows for the income you, and everyone, needs.
Mono is an alternative to C# on Linux but you will very likely always run into "edge-cases" so that is just not pragmatic. If it was just yourself working as a hobby or intending to deploy to Mono on Linux then that wouldn't be an issue.
Also, Mono would not integrate with QuickBooks. Recent versions of WINE have started to support the .Net framework but overall compatibility and stability is likely not there yet for your intended use.

Voice mail, including visual voice mail, is a carrier feature. Contact your carrier again and escalate the call until you get hold of someone with a clue.
This is assuming you're using a Straight Talk CDMA iPhone. If you're using an unlocked iPhone with a Straight Talk GSM SIM card, that's not supported by either StraightTalk or Apple.

"Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Professional Stopped Working" When I'm Trying To Install

So for a college class we were given a link to a visual studio exe file. Visual Studio 2013 Professional Update 2.
When I try to run the exe file it just gives a black rectangle for a few seconds with the visual studio logo on it then stops and gives the message I showed in the thread title. and it also says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I have the 4.5.2 update.
Can't figure out why I can't install it.

Remote/USB debug doesn't work for me in iOS

I'm trying to debug my app in the iPad, but whenever I use the ipa-debug or ipa-debug-interpreter targets, the app just plain doesn't work. It gets stuck in the first screen and nothing happens, no matter if I use -connect "my-ip" (remote debugging) or if I use -listen myPort (USB debugging). The app just doesn't work.
If I use ipa-test-interpreter or ipa-ad-hoc, then it does work, but of course I can't debug. This happens in AIR 3.6 and also previous versions as well.
My command line:

Visual Studio Designer Window Not Working

Problem is as stated. Everytime I open Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows, my XAML designer window keeps throwing this error below. I tried uninstall and reinstalling the program, to no avail. Any ideas?

In my mind, maybe you need to repair your Visual Studio or try to upgrade your Visual Studio to the latest update to see if it works.

When trying to read emails on hotmail on firefox, the "back" button on my mouse doesn't work right. It works fine if I use internet explorer. This started about three days ago.

Also doesn't work right when I try to click on the inbox. I sometimes just get a blank screen. Seems to work fine on every other site except Hotmail.

Nothing changed after clearing cashe and cookies and restarting in safe mode.

Can I host a Windows Phone VHS on a remote host and have Visual Studio debug on it?

As per the title really, is it possible to have an instance of the windows phone emulator running on our Hyper-V dev cluster and then have development machines use it for debugging?
Our development machines are also virtualised, and as such we can't host the windows emulator on them.
