Firefox 9 doesn't handle the css font stack properly

The style body{font:13px/1.231 arial,helvetica,sans-serif;*font-size:small;*font:x-small} should cause the browser to work through the stack and use sans-serif if arial and helvetica are not available. This is how it worked in Firefox 8 and how it works in other browsers.
With Firefox 9 if the first font is unavailable it just substitues one of it's own instead.
If I remove arial and helvetica from the list then FF9 uses the system sans-serif as it should.

The css in the blogpost http://krakrjak.blogspot.com/2012/01/firefox-901-font-css-bug.html is wrong, and that is why this does not work in Firefox. To access a class you must use the class selector (a dot). For example: .p-inner p { }

No problems here with the H1 headers.
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.

What happened to the original font stacks?

Just looking for the best place to start to define a style using the original default font families. Got thrown off track by another new feature, well, new to me. Before, when you had some text on the page and slected it, then in the properties you selected a new font group, or another property, you were prompted to create a new style. It doesn't seem to do this now, which is OK, but I'm wondering about the font groups that are showing up.
When going in to "Manage Fonts" it appears that these are Adobe Edge fonts. Is that what the little computer monitor icon represents, or does this icon indicate web fonts?
Anyway, I just wanted Arial. Tried the next tab, Local Web Fonts which seemed the logical option. But I couldn't browse to the Windows/Fonts folder. Other folders show up, but I don't know why this one did not (Folder options, all hidden and system files and folders are set to be not hidden). Does anyone know why this particular browse dialog doesn't see the fonts folder, or is this not the correct way to do this? I ended up going to the third tab, Font Stacks and just added Arial.
I would just like the original, plain ole font families back as the default options. But it seems like the Edge fonts have taken that spot.

One of the reasons that Edge fonts and web fonts are though to be preferable to the old font stacks was because of Android tablets/smartphones only having the Droid font family available, (Android 4.3 added the Roboto font family also).
This meant that Android device users defaulted to the 'Droid' font or a user installed font. The default font if the user had installed a custom font and set it as default, could be anything, (even a comic script font) thus possibly destroying your text and/or layout completely.
If you are not using an Edge font or a downloadable font do not forget to set the last three fonts in your font stack to -
'...., Roboto variant, Droid variant, default font'

Safari doesn't display the correct fonts.

Safari doesn't display all fonts correctly. All that is displayed is a boxed A. See screenshot. All the other browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Omniweb, Camino) don't have this problem. I tried clearing the cache of Safari as well as the system font cache. I use FontExplorer X Pro 3.1 to manage my fonts. No other software has this kind of problems.

In Safari (in Gmail), plain text pasted in doesn't adopt the existing font

When pasting plain text into Safari (Gmail), it shows up as Ariel instead of the current font in use in the e-mail (happens to be Trebuchet). It doesn't happen in Chrome.

And it's only a Gmail issue, not in, for example, Google Docs.

The Google Toolbar '''7.1.20110512W''' version works in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension, I tried it myself due to the large number of postings about GTB problems.

AFCS.java doesn't handle the http redirect request

Hi AFCS team,
     I just tried out the java script for external authentication. By default, when calling new AFCS.AccountManager(accountURL);, I'll get an error like the following:
"GET http://connectnow.acrobat.com/myaccount?mode=xml&accountonly=true& failed with status 302";
     Actually this url will be redirected to "https://na2.connectnow.acrobat.com/myaccount?mode=xml&accountonly=true&" for me.
     However, the script handles the http response only when status=200, or it consider the status as error.
     So I added following code to http_get()/http_post(), everything goes well so far.

So, the code was there a couple of releases ago, and then I took it out because I noticed that the lower level API were already processing redirections (but at this point I don't know on which case)
I'll do some more testing and if needed add the code back. Thanks for pointing it out!

Recently, when I try to print from within Firefox (Mac 10.6), only the first page is properly formatted. This doesn't happen when using Safari.

I regularly print newspaper articles that I view in Firefox. Until recently, multi-page documents formatted beautifully. Now only the first page is properly formatted. The other pages are enlarged and shifted to cuttoff several lines of text at the top of the page.

Once you set that preference it should hold that setting. You could try 125% but it might clip the right-side of the page.

Tree table doesn't update the data for checkboxes properly

I'm trying to use tomahawk tree table component to render a tree column of items along with checkboxes in other columns. Note that all the other columns except tree column are generated dynamically inside backing bean and checkboxes too added to the column dynamically.
All works fine until it comes to the valuechangelistener.Inside valuechangelistener if try to fetch the component id from the event, it doesn't return the correct id and instead always return the id that corresponds to the last node of tree.
Has anyone successfully used tree table to display input components? or any workaround my problem would be much appreciated.

In above code there will be four columns added dynamically and for each column a checkbox component is being added here. Rest JSF takes care to create checkboxes for each row of tree. But one thing that I noticed while viewing source that JSF is creating duplicate names for checkboxes in a batch of four (So for say if I had 3 rows, every row of checkboxes had same set of four ID's assigned, like ID1, ID2, ID3, ID4)

Okay, I mentioned that my MBP was not displaying the Mac App Store properly... now its my iMac! Stupid blue boxes and unloaded tiles are the problem. Before anyone asks, my Internet connection works well. Anybody else having this problem (see photo)? What's up, Apple?! I'm tired of reloading the page and crossing my fingers. Well, there's nothing wrong with my ISP or strength of my wi-fi signal. As you can see from the enclosed photo, the signal is very strong at the top of the UI. The picture was taken several minutes AFTER waking from sleep mode and after a page reloading (the Mac App Store actually displayed more icons, prior to the refresh). Additionally, the Mac App Store is slow as heck to load. I don't have any of these problems with any other Internet connected application, including the App Store on my iPad 2! All of the problems are localized around the Mac App Store. Ironically, the app store on my Windows 8 Pro virtual machine runs without a hitch!

Just a reminder... this happens to BOTH of my Macs (MBP & iMac)! My PC, Ubuntu, and Chromium virtual machines run Internet-connected applications without a problem. I hate the Mac App store!

Template page doesn't update the css file location

I've been using Dreamweaver for years; been using templates for years but can't figure why this now happening.
I create a new page from a template (that I've used for years) and everything on the page (including image and other links) is fine and updates properly; Links to css files do NOT update.
The relevant template code is as follows:

@import url(../tourstyles/tour2fluid.css);
The page code is as follows:

I've switched the links relative from document to site root and back again with no joy.

It looks as though the site definition is wrong. Have you fallen foul of the problem with the latest versions of Windows not registering the site root folder correctly? See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/478327.

BPEL Designer doesn't delete the Partner Link wsdl properly

Hi,
In a development scenario; when a partnerlink is created and then deleted, the wsdl file is not deleted. Hence unable to create a new partnerlink with the same service name. Everytime I endup creating a new service name for the partnerlink pointing to the same DB procedure. This will also lead to the change in the other dependent activities like invoke, Assign etc. as the variable names would have changed. These things will make the developement lag behind the time.
Why BPEL Designer doesn't do a clean delete of the all the entries in the xml files and the wsdl file?

Hi Senthil,
When you delete the Partner Link it will pop a Dialog box asking if you want to delete the WSDL file associated with the Partner link and If you Click Yes then the associated WSDL with this Partner Link is Deleted.
Only the XSD File generated with this partner link are not getting deleted which is being Fixed in the coming Release.

How do I get font tags showing the courier font to display on Firefox 4 for Windows 7, 64 bit?

On pages like the linked one ([http://puppetfetishist.livejournal.com/4071.html]), the courier font does not show, while on other pages like [http://www.mspaintadventures.com/], the courier font displays properly.
